Plots
Previous ChapterAll was not well in the quiet town of Ponyville. Before the girls, the elements of harmony, stood one of their most dangerous foes to date.
“Come on, it’s not like it’ll bite or anything,” said the exuberant pink pony.
Dash flew in between her friends and the contraption. “Everyone knows those things are dangerous, Pinkie. For Celestia’s sake, you don’t even know how to work it,” she yelled.
“Gees guys, of course I know how to work it. Hay, I go through them all the time,” she replied, bouncing the small circular object.
“I’ve never seen one myself,” mumbled Twilight. “Just read about them in books and stories…”
“Knock it off, Pinkie, you’re going to hurt someone,” Dash said.
“Leave it to me, girls,” came a yell from Applejack. “I’ll wrangle that little thing,” she said, lasso spinning in the air.
“No!” Pinkie yelled. She hugged the little ball and looked at the others, tears in her eyes. “…You can’t hurt him… I’ll keep him safe, I swear!” A half-scowl crossed her face as Pinkie faced off against her friends.
“Your friends are right, Pinkie,” came a voice. The five ponies across from Pinkie spun around, looking in all directions. The pink pony looked to the ball in her arms.
“But… Author, I’ve…” She stopped. Pinkie stumbled back, the ball now spewing light.
“My time in this story has come to an end, I’m afraid. May you manipulate many other plot holes, and show other authors the same friendship you have shown me,” the voice said, and the ball floated upwards. A light flowed over Ponyville, almost blindingly bright.
