My Little Alicorn Alternative Ending
Luna As The Parent: Part 1
Previous ChapterNext ChapterAfter Luna raised the sun, she thought it might be a good idea to go and wake Celestia. She walked down the hall to Celestia’s room. When she opened the door, the white alicorn filly was sleeping while cuddling a stuffed bunny; the sight brought a warm smile to the Moon Princess’ face. With that, Luna walked over to her and shook her lightly. “Tia, wake up now. The cooks made waffles.”
Celestia woke up and stretched her petite body. Subsequently, she looked at Luna and chirped, “OK, give me a second to put my gold slippers on along with my crown.” With that, Luna went to the storage area and dug up Celestia’s old royal stuff from when she was a filly.
After Celestia had gotten her crown on, she looked at Luna with puppy dog eyes and asked in a innocent tone, “Woona, will you cawy me there?”
Luna merely rolled her eyes, but still picked Celestia up with magic and gently placed her on her back. “Come on, let’s get something to eat.”
By the time they reached the dining hall, Leafy Greens had brought out waffles with syrup and butter. With that, Celestia dug in, not even using a fork. Luna sat there, as if she was in a stupor, amazed that a filly could eat like that. After she had eaten, Celestia had syrup all over her face. Luna chuckled and asked, “So Tia, have you thought where you wanted to be educated?”
Those words struck a cord in Celestia. All she could say was, “Well, I was wondering if I could be schooled here at the castle?”
Luna smiled. “Well, I don’t see why not. However, I think your teacher should be none other than your old student Twilight Sparkle. I will contact her as soon as I can.”

Twilight groaned as she read the letter. Normally, any kind of mail from Canterlot would have been a joyous occasion, perhaps even an invitation to a new adventure. But after everything that had happened, she couldn’t help but feel a little frustrated by all that had happened to her and Celestia.
The Princess’ decision never really rested well with her. After all, she had braved Kuchen’s mind, and even worse, Pinkie’s mind to find that cure, and now her mentor wanted to remain a filly? After all that work, all she had to show for it was a massive migraine and some notes from her cruel old teacher. And now Luna wanted her to be Celestia’s teacher? She was supposed to teach the pony that taught her to begin with?
Then she realized something. If she was Princess Celestia’s personal teacher, she would have far greater access to Celestia than ever before. All she had to do was wink and nudge her in the right direction, and she would have her Princess back. With that, she replied to Luna’s letter saying she would gladly accept the offer.

Luna looked at Celestia with a smile and said, “Twilight said she is going to do it and she will be here soon so make yourself presentable, for both of us.” Celestia gave a cute little pout not wanting to get cleaned up, but she sighed, walked upstairs, and cleaned herself with a wet towel. After Celestia had gotten cleaned up she started walking in the castle only to bump into her friend Lofty.
"Oh, hi Lofty! What’s up?" Celestia asked.
"My mom told me you decided to stay a filly and not turn back!" Lofty said with excitement in her voice.
"Yes, I did decide to stay my current age. The only problem is my student Twilight Sparkle will be coming soon to teach me magic," Celestia said with a little giggle.
"So, umm, princes-" before Lofty could finish, Celestia cut her off, saying that she did not need to call her Princess. "Oh, sorry Celestia but I was going to ask, do you want to go to the gardens and play? Or we could fly or something," Lofty said with a big smile
"Hmm... I have not tried flying yet," Celestia said with a big grin of her own.
