The story takes place in the universe created for my previous story, an anthro pony reality where a few aspects of their world behave differently then what you are familiar with. The story itself acts as an origin story for my avatar and hopefully doesn't try to depict Arcane as some all powerful and flawless character. Merry sues lack any flaws, and without flaws there’s no conflict to write about.

In the world she lives in Earth Ponies (Terrans) are the unsung heroes of their race. Born as a Terran, Arcane feels inadequate compared to the others that can fly or cast magic. When she firsts gains her talent at age thirteen she see's it as a curse. Later in life she realizes that same talent can unlock powers nature didn't give her. She may regret that decision.

The “Sex” tag is just for a bit of crude language in one of the earlier parts of the story. There is no actual sexual activity in this story… maybe the sequel but we’ll see.

Update: I decided to get rid of chapters due of it being a short story.
