With each sigh going on the piece of parchment and quill dabbed into a pot of ink, Celestia gets more and more worried about her ex-faithful student. Her ears perked up at the sound of a knock which she called for them to come in. It was a blue alicorn standing in the doorway, looking concerned. Celestia glanced back at her paper with a sigh of despondent.

Luna stood behind her and glanced at the sheet of paper that was laying on the table in front of her sister, having the phrase 'Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle' written on it. She laid a comforting hoof on her sister's shoulder as she swayed her head away. Soon after, Celestia's horn glowed with a yellow presence and picked up the quill to start moving on the page.

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,

I'm sorry if this letter is sent too late or if I'm annoying you ~~because you have other friends now~~ but I would just like to say how much I missed us writing letters back and forth continuously. Why can't it be like the old days? Remember when you would always have your face inside a book most of the time in magic kindergarten? Yeah, that was a good time.

I've missed sending letters back and forth with you, I feel like it was my mistake in turning you into an alicorn. If I hadn't then we could still be sending friendship lessons to one another. I'm sorry if I'm making you feel uncomfortable talking about my feelings but I just had to let you know...I don't know what you are doing at the moment or where you are or which friends you are hanging out with at the moment but I just wanted to let you know that, can we make things how it used to be?

I don't know what else to say but I'm sorry. I'm sorry for corrupting you by making you into an alicorn princess and now I'm ranting over it because you never write to me anymore but I guess that is pretty much my fault.

Celestia had sealed the letter and ignited her horn to send the letter out of her window to evaporate into green flames and send it off to her ex-faithful student. Just thinking about her made her feel even more queasy and sick to her stomach. Celestia had laid herself on her table and slowly relaxed her eyes closed to take a nap. Luna smiled peacefully, levitating a blanket over her body and exiting out of her lounging room.

At Princess Twilight Sparkle's Kingdom, a violet alicorn was sitting on her couch in the living room whilst reading a book after a long day of spending an enjoyable day with Pinkie Pie. Soon after, a purple dragon with green scales entered the living room tiredly and hopped on the empty spot next to Twilight as he got a comic book from behind a pillow.

A few seconds later, he had burped up green flames and a scroll along with it. Twilight raised an eyebrow, getting distracted from her reading and levitating the scroll from Spike's hands. Her eyes skimmed through the letter until she lowered the paper to bit her lip and glanced at her dragon companion.

Twilight took a deep breath, rolling up the letter again. She levitated an inkpot with a quill inside it and a piece of parchment. Spike raised an eyebrow, trying to open his mouth to say something but got stopped as Twilight began feeling her hooves on her ex-mentor's paper and tearing up. She glanced at the empty sheet of paper with a deep breath and started lifting up her quill to write on the parchment.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I am sorry that we haven't been sending letters back and forth ever since I have become an alicorn princess, and it wasn't your fault. To tell you the truth, I don't like being an alicorn princess either, and instead like sending friendship letters to you. You were practically the first friend I ever had alongside Spike, and for that, I am truly grateful.

Thank you for giving me guidance and knowledge. I look up to you more than anything. You mean a lot to me and I guess I was a pain in the flank to not fucking realise that, and I'm sorry.

Twilight had finished signing her name on the paper and wiped away tears she was holding back whilst writing on the piece of parchment. She rolled it into a scroll and turned to Spike who was looking concerned. Twilight smiled, handing over the scroll to him. Spike nodded, as he held it up high to swoosh the scroll to evaporate into green flames and send it to their ex-teacher. Twilight and Spike could both admit that they had missed the days of sending letters back and forth with their royal highness and ex-mentor, Princess Celestia.

Celestia's eyes started to flicker open as her ears whistled due to the noise of a scroll coming through her window with green flames. Celestia was surprised to discover that her ex-faithful student really can send letters again after all. Although her mind was starting to hurt and telling her something that she shouldn't open the letter, her heart was telling her she should open the letter.

Just like what ponies would say, always trust your heart no matter what. Celestia smiled, and got out another sheet of paper to write back to her one and only faithful student. She went by those words one last time. Her one and only faithful student. Her ears drooped as she remembered something.

Sunset Shimmer.

Maybe...just maybe, after sending Twilight one last letter, she can find the old journal she had given to a specific violet alicorn since Sunset Shimmer really needed to message her for an important event. Celestia was sure Twilight would understand if she could use her old journal to contact Sunset Shimmer once more.

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,

You shall not be the one to apologise, my faithful student. I should be the one to be at fault here, I was literally the one who made you stop being my student. Yes, you stopped sending me letters for a while before that but other than that...it's my fault. I do pity you but I'm trying to say the truth here.

I'm sorry for every deed that I've done. I know you've got your friends now so I guess that means you don't need me to be by your side anymore, and besides you've got Spike to be your little...um, side chick. Gee, no offense to that, Spike.

Celestia chortled to that statement she had written last about Spike, but was saddened at the fact that she can't remember any memories about her with him at all. It had always been about a certain violet alicorn with her. Nonetheless, Celestia tried shaking it off and rolled her letter to evaporate it into green flames outside her window, again.

Celestia conjured up her old journal that had her cutie mark as a logo on it. She hugged it tightly close to her chest as she smiled warmly. She opened it up and started to look at all of the old texts she and Sunset Shimmer had written in the past. This had made water swell up into the tall white alicorn's eyes. Water was dropping on the page, if only Sunset Shimmer would not notice that on her journal.

At last, she picked up her quill and started jotting down words on the page to whatever had come to her mind. Meanwhile, the door slowly creaked open and Luna could see her sister writing inside a journal instead of a piece of parchment. She had heard her sister say she used to write to her old faithful student by using a journal. Luna smiled at the side of the door before closing it back again for some privacy. She nodded, trotting back to her dorm again.

Dear Sunset Shimmer,

I know it suddenly has been such a long time since we have last talked or sent messages but I would just like to say that I'm sorry. The things you have done in the past were not your fault, but mine. I shouldn't have fucking been a hypocrite and say that you needed some friends instead of having your face be in a book all the time. You were right, I was lonely and I never had a friend before but my sister. Although, I've imprisoned her to the moon as you already knew that. But thanks to Twilight and her friends, she's back home safe with me. You were the first friend I ever had before Twilight had become my student.

It seems like I'm annoying you so I'll just cut this letter short. You probably have other friends to be worrying about at the moment now, just like Twilight. I just wanted to let you know that I'm sorry and that everything was my fault. I hope we can fix our mistakes in the future. No one is perfect and you were the pony who had shown me that.

Celestia smiled, signing off her name on the end of the paper, hoping and waiting for a reply. She slouched her head on the table and hopefully during the meantime, Twilight will send her letter at any moment right now.

A violet alicorn was resting her head on a pillow as she relaxed her eyes closed. Spike smiled peacefully as he got out a blanket from behind his pillow and draped it around Twilight's body for warmth and affection until his cheeks puffed up. He burped up green flames alongside a scroll.

Spike turned to the sleeping Twilight and bit his lip. I guess I should do the writing this time again, Spike thought to himself, and besides it has been a long time since I did. Also, I sort of want to write something to her.

He got out a quill and parchment and started doodling down to whatever had come to his thoughtful mind. He relaxed his tongue on his chin and tapped the quill to his head since he was thinking.

Dear Princess Celestia,

This is Spike writing to you because Twilight is sleeping at the moment so I was wondering - why not write to you myself? - It sure has been a long time. We've never really had a close connection with one another though since you would always talk with Twilight or think about her all the time.

I felt sort of left out and I wondered if my birth parents ever felt the same about me. Shining and Twilight never saw me as a little brother and would pay attention to each other instead of me. Why am I saying this? I don't know. It just feels good letting this all out. Anyways, enough about me. How are you? Are you feeling alright?

I just wish I could be accepted into the family I was raised in properly. I want Shining and Twilight to stop caring about each other and also care about me too - as in think about me as their little brother - I know I said that before but I just had to say it again. I'm sorry, Princess Celestia, for dragging you into my family issues and personal problems.

Spike frowned as he looked at the word 'orphaned' he had written on the page. He scribbled it out and rolled the piece of parchment into a tube to blow it out the window into green flames. He rested his neck on his hands on the window sill as his eyes were laid on the castle up in the hills.

Through the interdimensional mirror, Sunset Shimmer was having fun at the boba tea restaurant with her friends. They were all giggling at each other's words until Sunset got interrupted by a buzz in her backpack. She sheepishly tittered as she excused herself from the table.

She went to hide behind a wall and opened up her backpack to check Princess Twilight Sparkle's new message in her journal. Sunset's eyes widened in shock as she realised that it wasn't from Twilight at all. It was instead from...

Princess Celestia.

What is she doing with her old journal? Is she trying to pester her again? Say sorry? Because it is too late for that! Or is it...? Sunset skimmed through the words on the page her old mentor had written to her which had made her tear up on the page. She wiped it off and clicked the top of a pen and started writing on the other side of the page.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I am so, so, so, so, so, so, sorry about what I have done in the past and I'm also really extremely sorry that you are feeling sorry for me when you shouldn't feel sorry for me! Everything I have done was my evil doings, not yours. Sure, you were a bit of a hypocrite but you just wanted to help me and...I pushed you down, which is why I'm extremely sorry.

I get if you don't want to write to me anymore since you have a replacer - which I'm totally fine with that! It's just that I wish you didn't give up on me so easily and found a new replacement so quickly. I bet Princess Twilight Sparkle is a much better student than I am. She's the one that's so good at making friends and gave me a second chance. On top of that, she handed me over her friendship - something no one could ever do in magic kindergarten.

Do you remember those days of me as a filly being your student in Celestia Sunshine School? Because I do very much. I still remember the time Lemon Heart's head was stuck in that beaker in science class. Those were good times. Of course, I wasn't very much the pony to be wanting to be friends with everypony.

I will admit that you were also the first-ever friend I ever had. You were always there for me whenever I was going through tough times but then later on I've just pushed you down. I'm very fucking extremely sorry, your highness.

Sunset wiped away her tears and jotted a full stop at the end of her sentence and signed her name afterward.

After Princess Celestia had finished reading Spike's letter, she had felt a swam of guilt shuffling right through her shoulders. She slowly levitated a quill and started writing words on the piece of parchment.

Dear Spike,

I'm sorry.

Celestia banged her head against the table until she lifted it back up to rub her head and roll the letter into a tube. She engulfed the scroll with green flames and dematerialized it outside of her window. Blowing out her candle, she was sure this would be the very last letter of guilt for today.

Celestia giggled to herself as she dipped her quill inside an ink pot to dab it onto the page of her journal. Her eyes skimmed through her message from Sunset Shimmer, snickering at every word. She smiled, glad that she's getting along with her again. She plotted her quill on the page and started words on it.

Oh, you're such a card again, Sunny! And I do missed these type of conversations between each other.

Sunset smiled as her eyes skimmed at her mentor's message. She clicked her pen and started jotting down words on a fresh new page in her journal. Leaning onto the table, she rested her arm as her hand was skimming through the page.

I know, right? I can't believe I turned my back on you. You have a sense of humour now and I totally missed that actually beginning to happen. I'm definitely not sad about that!

Celestia frowned, reading on her piece on the page in her journal. Twilight had allowed her to keep it now that Sunset Shimmer has reformed and they have a lot of catching up to do. Twilight understood. Celestia and Sunset had agreed with her, they have missed talking with each other.

Don't be sad, my faithful student. It was not your fault to begin with, it was I. I was the one who was a hypocrite and forced you to make some friends when I didn't have any myself.

You were the only friend I ever had, before Twilight, of course.

Sunset smiled a bit, standing up straight in her seat until someone had entered through the door but hadn't caught her attention. Sunset's eyes were goggling on the page until the person screamed inside her ears.

''WAKE UP!!!''

Sunset let out a loud scream in agony as she fell to the ground. She shook her head as she began rubbing it. She sent a death glare at the person who had screamed inside her hears. She was snickering in delight.

''Ugh!'' Sunset mumbled. ''Pinkie? What the hay?!''

Pinkie giggled. ''Sorry! I just had to because you weren't paying attention to the real life and instead paying attention to your little journal!'' Pinkie chimed down. ''Hey, come to think of it, you have always been on that thing recently. You and Princess Twilight dating or what?'' She smirked at her which had made Sunset blush.

Sunset sighed in frustration. ''No, I'm not talking to Princess Twilight and we are not dating! I'm just talking to Princess Celestia.''

''But how? Didn't you say Princess Celestia had given her journal to Princess Twilight?''

''Yes, she did, but Twilight had given it back to her so she could message me for whatever shit and then we decided to talk more. I can't believe I missed out on her getting a sense of humour! I think it was the pony Pinkie Pie who gave her it.''

''Duh!'' Pinkie exclaimed, rolling her eyes. ''Of course she did! Any Pinkie fool has a sense of humour!''

Sunset rolled her eyes. ''Of course.''

Her eyes started to get laid back on the journal and decided to pick up her pen again to start on the page to reply to her mentor. Pinkie didn't bother leaving and instead stayed with her friend as she peered over her friend's shoulder to see what they were talking about.

Oh, don't be so modest, princess! We all know it was MY fault into becoming evil. You would always be there for me whenever I was going through tough times like my parents dying...anyways, I have disobeyed you and didn't listen to you when you asked me to make some friends...

I did try to but it had looked like no pony wanted to be my friend for whatever fucking reason. Probably because I was always into books and a teacher's pet? Antisocial?

Celestia shook her head, but laughed. She picked up her quill again, dabbing it into the ink pot and jotting down words on a fresh new page in her journal.

I love you, Sunset.

A glimmer of hope twinkled inside Sunset's eyes which Pinkie could obviously see. Pinkie giggled, smirking at her as she knew what Sunset was inferring this message.

Me too, Princess Celestia, me too.

Celestia turned around to see a dark blue alicorn standing in the doorway, throwing her head back into laughter. Celestia narrowed her eyes as she approached her.

''What's so funny?''

''Sorry, sorry,'' Luna taunted as she tried to calm herself down. ''But you have been messaging her for how long? You don't even write to Twilight for so many hours.'' She looked at the clock on the wall. ''I think you are suffering through an illness called 'obsession', Tia.''

''Obsession?!'' Celestia repeated, panicking as sweat dripped off from her forehead. ''What obsession?!''

''You like her, Tia, admit it. I thought you liked Twilight, but I guess I was wrong.''

Celestia groaned. ''Puh-lease, Luna! Just because I have spent hours messaging one of my students doesn't mean I'm obsessed and have a crush on her!''

Luna raised an eyebrow, but shook her head. She trotted back out the door and entered inside her lounging room. Celestia got back to her journal and picked up a quill to reply back to her old student.

You know? I'm sort of craving for cake at the moment.

Once Sunset and Pinkie had read the message, they both drifted into hysterical laughter. Sunset clicked the top of her pen and started jotting down words on the page to reply, again.

You are still obsessed with cake, huh?

Also, I have one question: am I still your student?

Celestia placed a hoof to her chest, pretending to look offended at her comment. She lowered her eyes to read her other message. She thought about it for a moment.

I am not obsessed with cake, young lady!

I'm not sure. Do you still want to be my student?

Sunset's eyes goggled, squealing in excitement. Pinkie giggled as her friend picked up her pen again and started hastily on a brand new page.

Sure you're not.

Are you kidding? I would still love to, Princess Celestia!

Celestia rolled her eyes playfully as she chortled and picked up her quill to start back in her journal.

Oh, and please, you don't need to call me that anymore. Call me by Celestia now.

Sunset smiled. So modest, she thought to herself.

I think I should call you: Tia.

Celestia narrowed her eyes on the page, groaning in annoyance. Her sister had probably taught her student to say that. Celestia rolled her eyes, writing back with her quill on the page.

Oh, please, not with that nickname! I'm guessing Luna had taught you that, huh?

Sunset chuckled, back with her pen on the page.

Nope. I just took out ''Tia'' from your name :)

Celestia laughed, almost tripping over the ink pot had she not use her magic to levitate it away from falling. She sighed of relief, hearing a knock coming from her door. She rolled her eyes, knowing who it would be. She never bothered to turn around and instead just used her magic to open the door.

Luna came into the room alongside with a guard. She sheepishly tittered. ''Uh, Tia? Mind tellin' this guard to stop following me around all the time? It's getting pretty annoying.''

Celestia rolled her eyes. ''Is that why you interfered on my conversation?''

''Fine then,'' Luna mumbled. ''I'll just banish this guard to the moon then.''

''What?'' the guard uttered.

A pink alicorn peeked from the side of the door with a cheerful and got everyponies attention. ''Hi! I just finished casting a love spell on a guard, Aunt Tia, and-oh.''

Luna sent a glare. ''What?!''

Cadence gulped. ''C-Celestia...t-told me to.''

''What?'' Celestia exclaimed, getting taken aback by this. ''Why, I never!''

''Well, it's only because you're the only alicorn without a love interest so I just had to!''

Luna narrowed her eyes. ''What about my sister?''

''Oh, her? She's got my sister-in-law and Sunset.''

''What?'' Celestia spoke in a more louder tone.

Luna snickered, but rolled her eyes afterwards, whereas Celestia had given her a death stare in response. Luna sheepishly chortled, exiting out of her sister's lounging room again alongside with Cadence and the guard following behind her with hearts circulating above his head. Cadence bit her lip, undoing the spell and waving the hearts away from his head.

Celestia slouched her face onto her table but got up as she didn't hear a buzz as a sign for a message from her journal. She hopped off from her seat and trotted towards her door to exit out of it and join dinner with her sister (probably Cadence too).

However, Sunset Shimmer was waiting for a response from her mentor but distracted herself by talking with her friend Pinkie Pie as she was accompanying her whilst she was writing to her mentor in her journal.

Pinkie laughed. ''And then Applejack was like 'I don't love Rarity at all!'''

Sunset snickered, glancing back at her page to see if she had gotten a reply from her yet. She sighed in response as she had gotten her answer. Pinkie raised an eyebrow and opened her mouth to say something but got interrupted as Sunset said something first.

''So,'' said Sunset, ''you and Rainbow Dash thinking about going out with each other?''

Pinkie blushed, but it couldn't see through her pink coat. She replied with, ''N-No. W-What about y-you and Flash?''

Sunset grumbled. ''For the last time, there is nothing between Flash and I!''

Pinkie smirked, as she batted her eyelashes flirtatiously towards her friend. Sunset sighed in defeat.

''Alright. Fine, you've caught me.''

Pinkie gasped. ''What?! So you do, again? When? How? TELL ME EVERYTHING!!!''

She startled Sunset by gripping onto her by the shoulders.

''I can't.''

Pinkie's ears drooped down. ''Why not?''

''Because I don't know,'' Sunset simply replied as she rolled her eyes. She walked towards the door and exited out of the place, leaving Pinkie gasp as realisation had struck her.

During the royal sisters' dinner, a violet alicorn with a purple dragon were wearing black costumes and had secretly snuck into Canterlot and entered inside Celestia's lounging room. Once they made themselves inside, they had scattered around the place and spotted Celestia's journal laying opened on her desk.

Spike glanced at Twilight -- whose lips curled into a grin. Twilight trotted towards it and levitated it in front of her as she flipped through the pages. Spike's eyebrow raised, peering over to look inside the journal as well.

''Shouldn't you not be intruding on somepony else's privacy, Twi?''

Twilight huffed. ''Privacy? What privacy? It's not like they have secretly talked about something that we weren't meant to hear behind our backs.''

Spike rolled his eyes. ''Yeah, but--''

Twilight ignored him as she continued to flick through the pages until she found an empty page where the conversation had ended. She relaxed her tongue outside as she got out a quill from her mane.

''Huh,'' Spike uttered. ''I thought Pinkie's mane was the only one that is sentient.''

''It is,'' Twilight replied. ''But she may or may not have showed me how to stuff useful things inside my mane for emergencies even if it's not sentient like hers.''

Twilight's eyes then remained focused on the page in the journal and started placing the quill onto the page. She began skimming along the page as she wrote words on it.

Hi, Sunset. How are you?

She did not bother to write her name and instead tried to impersonate her own mentor to talk to Sunset about something -- although, she knew deep inside of her that this was a wrong thing to do.

Hey, Celestia. I'm good. Also, where were you?

Twilight raised an eyebrow -- what did she mean by that? Did Celestia leave her on read? Because as she looked on the other page, Sunset was the last one to say something -- she was about to write words on the page to reply but turned towards Spike since she knew he is like a fortune teller and guesses everything.

Spike rolled his eyes, getting the quill from her purple presence of magic and started writing words on the page. Twilight peered over to see what he was going to write on the page.

I was just having dinner with my sister. Anyways, what are you doing, my--

Spike stopped, flipping the other pages to see what Celestia calls her. He had spotted 'my faithful student' and 'Sunny' but had chose the latter in this message.

Sunset picked up her pen again and dropped her phone on the table.

Oh, I was just messaging my friend Twilight as she is on a date with Timber Spruce. Uh, that is the Twilight from my world, hahaha...

Spike nodded in understanding. Twilight flinched an eyebrow and snatched the book from his hands. Spike narrowed his eyes at her, folding his arms against his chest. Twilight sheepishly gave out an apologetic smile before glancing at the page again with a quill.

What about Flash Sentry? Also, Sunset, may I ask you a question?

Sunset flinched. ''Yeah, I forgot about pony Twilight and Flash...''

Oh, this Twilight is different and doesn't see him that way but just a friend. And sure, go ahead.

Twilight thought hard to ask a question for Sunset to answer. She only hoped she had planned this all out. This was probably the last time they will speak to each other since the journal is back to Celestia's property again, so she tried to come up with a suitable question.

Uh...how do you feel towards Princess Twilight Sparkle?

Sunset raised an eyebrow. Why would she be asking me that? She thought to herself, before plotting the pen back on the page again to jot down her reply.

Why are you asking me this, Princess Celestia? She's our friend so what do you mean by that?

Twilight bit her lip, glancing back at Spike who was having an angered look on his adorable little face. Twilight had found this even more adorable but snapped out of her trance. Twilight sighed, writing on the page again.

I don't know. Tell me something that you don't want to say to Twilight face-to-face. Don't worry - I won't tell her.

Sunset was growing suspicious out of this but shook it off and started writing to reply on the page.

Uh, I guess I find it intimidating that Twilight is so seen as perfect and gets all the glory. Like it's not equal between her friends or I. None of us have alicorn wings (or horns, judging if you're a pegasus or an earth pony) even though she's not the only one learning about friendship and destroying villains of Equestria. I just find it annoying how she gets all the-

Twilight paused, glancing at her dragon companion before the lights flickered open and they both were met by an angry Celestia standing at the doorway. Spike gulped, nudging the violet alicorn forward. Twilight glared at him before turning back to her mentor with a sheepish chuckle.

''Princess Twilight Sparkle,'' said Celestia, ''how dare you intrude on our privacy?!''

Tense began on Twilight's face which made Spike nudge her again and send her an 'I told you so!' look.

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle...

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,

I'm sorry we haven't been in touch just like we promised to now do - ever since you gave me back my journal to write to Sunset Shimmer, I've just gotten used to talking with her again and I really missed our conversations.

So how are you doing, my faithful student?

Oh. Right. I forgot you're not my faithful student anymore. Well, Sunset Shimmer has recently became my student again since she really liked it that way so do you also want to be my student? You and Sunset could work together into learning friendship lessons or whatever.

If you reply yes, then I'm sure I can manage to tell Sunset about this, but if no, then I completely understand as you have your royal duties and new friends now.

Celestia nodded, rolling the parchment into a tube and enveloped it with a presence of yellow magic so she could engulf it with green flames and send it directly out the window. Her eyes looked down at the little village under her and gave out a peaceful smile as she leaned her face onto her hooves to relax and enjoy the beautiful view.

However, a violet alicorn was reading a book in her castle library as Spike came inside with a dusting pan and a broom to clean the floors, whereas Starlight had came inside to fetch a book from one of the shelves and took a seat opposite the violet alicorn.

Twilight and Starlight had suddenly got interrupted from their reading as Spike had burped up a scroll along with green flames. Curious, Twilight levitated the scroll towards her with an eyebrow rise. Her eyes skimmed down on the page, reading every word that was written on it.

Once she was done reading, she lowered the paper in her hooves and had her eyes twinkled in amazement as she hastily grabbed an ink pot with a quill dipped inside it and a fresh new paper. Meanwhile, Starlight and Spike were scratching their heads in confusion on what she was doing.

Dear Princess Celestia,

YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!!! OF COURSE I WOULD! I MEAN, WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO STILL CONTINUE BEING PRINCESS CELESTIA'S FAITHFUL STUDENT? I LITERALLY LOVED THE MEMORIES SHARING WITH YOU WHEN I WAS AND I WOULD BE MOST DELIGHTED TO WORK WITH THE PRINCESSES' OLD FAITHFUL STUDENT!

Haha, sorry about the capital letters outburst...anyways, it's okay! I get it, you and Sunset needed a lot of catching up to do after everything that had happened. I totally understand that and not jealous about it.

It had suddenly been a long time since Twilight had used that phrase to sign letters to the princess with. Nevertheless, she rolled the scroll into a tube and batted her eyelashes innocently at the purple dragon who was dusting off the crystal walls. Spike sighed in defeat as he grabbed the scroll grumpily and blew green flames on it to send it out the window.

And now they waited...

As Princess Celestia was resting her face onto her hooves at the window sill, she got interrupted as a scroll materialized in front of her with green flames. Smiling, she levitated the scroll into her hooves and unrolled it to read the parchment.

She laughed, getting an ink pot and a quill from her desk towards her along with a plain piece of paper.

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,

Of course. Why haven't I seen your outburst coming? Even by paper you are outbursting - Twilighting? But as much as I enjoy your enthusiasm, Twilight, you must know you have to work extra hard on your magic because from what I have witnessed...

Your magic was much more powerful to when you were a unicorn. I can't say I'm disappointed since Cadence isn't that powerful either, or Luna and I. It's probably an alicorn thing. Although, Flurry Heart is pretty powerful but that's baby magic and plus, an alicorn one too!

Anyways, I am assigning you to write whatever friendship lessons you have learnt so far over the years when you weren't my student. I'm pretty sure you can do it by tomorrow. So, I will be making the due date be then.

Celestia had used her magic to send the letter out of her window again.

After Twilight had lowered her paper with a nod, she turned towards Spike.

''What?''

Twilight fluttered her eyelashes. ''Would you be a number one assistant and hand me some more paper to write some friendship lessons I have learnt previously over the years of not being Princess Celestia's student?''

''Woah,'' Spike uttered. ''You haven't called me by that in such a long time and uh...sure? And may I ask why?''

Twilight sighed, hopping off from her chair. ''You know what? It's fine, I'll just grab the paper by myself.''

''Finally you do something by yourself,'' Spike muttered under his breath.

''What was that, Spike?''

He sheepishly turned towards her and quickly exclaimed, ''nothing!''

''And Spike there fucked up,'' said Starlight.

''Starlight!'' Pinkie exclaimed.

''What?''

Twilight ignored them and rolled her eyes as she got out a piece of paper from her files and trotted towards her table again. She dipped a quill inside the ink pot again before dabbing it onto the page. Twilight had to admit that it had been such a long time since she had wrote a friendship assignment to Princess Celestia.

Twilight smiled, skimming down the page as she wrote words along with it. Leaning her hoof on the table to get comfortable, she could process her brain properly and think of so many friendship lessons that she had learnt over the years so she paced her writing faster a bit so she could write it down on the page and not forget it afterwards. Of course, we are talking about Twilight here. Is that really going to happen?

Dear Princess Celestia,

I have learnt so many friendship lessons over the years from my amazing friends. One lesson would be that you shouldn't deduct your friends' happiness away over a game. Instead you should remain a good friend and let them answer some questions...even if you don't think they can be smart at times.

Hey! Who are you calling dumb?

Ugh. Pinkie, let me concentrate here!

No! You called me dumb and now you have to take it back!

Ugh. Fine, Pinkie. There, you happy now?

Huh. Anyways, the next lesson I will be saying is that it doesn't matter about the outside but it's what inside that counts. My friend Rarity had taught me that to when she had lost her hair by, uh...a magical potion Zecora had gave her and Pinkie but she had gotten the wrong bottle?

Hehe, yeah, I remember that horrific memory. Although, Rarity made me Pinkie Promise to never mention that story for whatever reason, she hadn't told me why though.

I still don't know how that had happened though. Anyways, I have also learnt that before you care about other ponies, you need to check your own health first in order to help them out as well. And it was my great friend Fluttershy that had taught me that when she had discovered the Mystical Mask and had gotten Zecora sick. Ouch! I still remember that horrid day.

She turned towards Spike who had been standing beside her with his arms crossed against his chest. At this moment, she didn't bother to question his mood and instead shoved the scroll in his hands. Spike mumbled in annoyance as he grumpily blew green flames on top of the scroll and dematerialized it out of the window.

Twilight was trotting through Ponyville to meet her cowgirl friend as it had been a long time since she had been cooped up in her library for so long. She thought that now was the perfect time to visit her friends since she isn't doing anything at the moment.

As she entered through the gates of Sweet Apple Acres, her eyes goggled around the place. All of the trees had apples painted purple with orange polka dots and worms coming out of it. A big red muscular stallion was screaming and running around the orchard as a bird was sitting comfortably above his head.

This had made Spike snicker beside the violet alicorn until she had given him a death stare. Spike sheepishly smiled, zooming off to help his muscular friend. Meanwhile, Twilight was trotting towards an orange cowgirl pony that was trying to pull out a worm from an apple to prevent them from eating it.

''How had this happen, Applejack?'' Twilight asked, bending down to approach the worm on the apple.

''Granny Sakes, I have no idea! I woke up this mornin' and went down to do my mornin' chores when all of a sudden there was apples covered in purple paint hideously. Not to mention the worms inside of 'em.''

''Oh, it's not so bad, Applejack.''

Twilight and Applejack glanced up to meet a graceful yellow pegasus fluttering down to the ground from a tree. She stood before them as she circled her hoof in the ground shyly.

''M-Maybe this was a good thing.''

''How can this possibly be a good thing?!''

''Maybe this pony, or creature, wanted to have a bit of fun with you? Maybe he wanted to help you out by decorating your farm beautiful but you find it hideous? Maybe...''

She trailed off as Applejack stuck a hoof inside her mouth. The cowgirl groaned, taking it out and glancing over at the violet alicorn standing by a purple dragon with green scales. Twilight's head perked up and whispered through Spike's ear. He nodded absentmindedly after every word until he perked up and zoomed away to get a notebook and pencil. He had also added a moustache below his muzzle and a detective's hat above his head.

Applejack raised an eyebrow as Twilight and Spike stood firmly. Twilight knew who the culprit was but she just really wanted to have a bit of fun discovering. Besides, if there was something she had learnt over the years it would be that she should never jump to conclusions. Maybe she should write a letter to Princess Celestia about this. She decided to leave that certain someone in her head for last before she had gathered up all the clues from her cowgirl friend.

''Okay. Applejack, what had happened so far? Got any clues on who you think this culprit pony is?''

Applejack froze. ''Uh...I'm guessin' this pony, or creature, is Discord...'' she looked at Fluttershy as she bit her lip. ''I mean, all of this is chaos and that does involve Discord in it, but I shouldn't jump to conclusions.''

Twilight nodded. ''You read my case, Applejack.''

''Come again?''

Fluttershy quietly gasped. ''Applejack! Twilight! How could you blame this on Discord? Sure he had done lots of horrible things in the past but that doesn't mean he is still evil!''

''Gee,'' Twilight uttered. ''Calm down, Fluttershy. We only said his name since he is the master of chaos. Plus, he still pulls off pranks on everypony so I wouldn't be surprised if this is somewhat a game to him.''

''Yeah,'' Spike conceded. ''I agree with Twilight for once.'' He glanced at Twilight, getting received a death stare from her but cleared up his throat. ''I mean, he still does pranks on Big Macintosh and I whenever we aren't playing Ogre's and Oubliette's with him, so I'm not so surprised either if it is him.''

Fluttershy sighed in defeat. ''I guess you are right. It's just that--''

''Let me guess,'' Applejack interrupted, ''he is a big softie towards ya and would never annoy ya as ya are so used to havin' his presence around and he would do just as ya tell him to do.''

Fluttershy nodded solemnly.

''Well,'' said Applejack, ''if you two ever date then I suppose you would be in charge in the relationship.''

''What?!''

Twilight snickered, getting hit by a notebook. She glared at Spike who sheepishly shrunk to the ground. She rolled her eyes as she levitated the notebook and pencil towards her. ''I think we should gather more clues, not because I enjoy being a detective.''

Applejack rolled her eyes, getting a torch from underneath her hat. She had placed it under there for important emergencies. Fluttershy had gotten her white bunny friend Angel to dress her up in a black suit to seem mysterious. Twilight had just wore a similar hat to Spike.

''Alright, everypony!'' Twilight announced. ''Let's spilt up and meet here once we have gathered up all of the clues around the orchard. Everypony got that clear?''

She turned around to see her friends wasn't standing beside her anymore, except for Spike. She sighed, turning towards her dragon companion.

''Okay, Spike, where shall we start first?''

Fluttershy was trotting with her bunny friend in the middle of the orchard until Angel had hopped away. Fluttershy squealed, chasing after him but he had went inside a dark basement. Fluttershy swallowed as her hooves began to wobble. She stepped a hoof inside the room until a creak happened.

She flew back, startled. She took a deep breath and tried stepping inside, again. Once she got her whole body inside, the door quickly slammed shut behind her, startling her one last time. She squinted her eyes in the dark to see but remembered her pink friend had stuffed a torch light inside her long pink tail.

She flashed the torch on the walls of the room and noticed her bunny friend was looking at the wall on the ground. She smiled brightly as she ran towards him.

''Angel,'' she said firmly, ''what have I told you to not go to scary places or leave me behind just like when we were at the castle of the two sisters?'' She shivered as she thought about it. ''Don't make me want to remember that horrid memory again.''

Angel rolled his eyes and nearly hopped away again had Fluttershy not pull him by his fluffy white tail.

''I don't think there would be any clues here.''

There was a loud hustle coming from the other side of the wall which had gotten Fluttershy scared. Angel had found a red button on it and pressed it. Fluttershy gasped, snatching him from the ground until they screamed as the wall turned around. They were now seen on the other side of the room.

Fluttershy slowly raised an eyebrow as she glanced around at the place.

''Wait a minute,'' she muttered. ''This is the place of...*gasps* no, it can't be--''

Applejack was trotting through the tall trees in her orchard until she turned around as she saw a slender creature zooming behind two trees. She raised an eyebrow, turning on her torch to flash the light on the trees.

''Huh,'' she uttered. ''Come out, come out, where ever you are!''

Wind was whistling past her ear and an orange had materialized inside her mouth until she spat it out. She stomped her hoof on it, making it smash into glass pieces.

She groaned. ''Oh, alright! I know it's you, Discord, I ain't dumb! Show yourself, ya culprit varmint!''

The violet alicorn was trotting through the other side of the orchard with the assistance of Spike beside her. They had both heard a creak underneath their hooves until they had realised it was a bunch of dry sticks painted white.

Spike picked one up to sniff on it which had an odd scent. He plotted it inside his mouth, having Twilight look at him in disgust. Unexpectedly, Spike actually enjoyed the taste. It had tasted like...candy cane?

''Mhm!'' he mumbled. ''Try one, Twilight! It's delicious!''

Twilight rolled her eyes -- trying to concentrate on the task at hoof, without getting interrupted by loud noises hurdling around and eating asmr.

Spike paused. ''Hey!''

Twilight had noticed something dark and mysterious running around behind the tall trees. She got nearer and nearer alongside with Spike following behind her until they had bumped into two ponies and they all yelped, not realizing the creature in front of them.

Spike trailed off from his screaming and was the first one to notice. Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy stopped their screaming simultaneously and noticed the creature in front of them too.

''Discord?'' Fluttershy muttered.

''I knew it!'' Twilight piped. ''Uh, I mean--''

''You?!'' Applejack uttered. ''Why, I--''

''Surprised to see me?'' said Discord, turning himself into a snake for emphasis to his hysterical laughter.

''Discord,'' Twilight muttered as she growled through her teeth. ''Why did you create chaos in Applejack's farm?!''

''What?'' he whined, placing a hoof to his chest to seem innocent. ''I just wanted to have some fun.''

''See,'' said Fluttershy. ''I told you Discord is not evil anymore, just full of pranks! Well, he was never evil to begin with! He just wanted everypony to enjoy his beautiful chaos and not get turned to stone for it. He only wanted a friend and of course chaos is in his nature.'' She touched his paw and smiled at him warmly. ''But what I don't understand is why you decided to do it right now, and on Applejack.''

''I thought you already knew,'' Discord replied as he turned way from her. ''I felt betrayed when you all would never invite me to the important events like the opening of the friendship school. I hated how you all would blame me every time. I...I...''

He trailed off as Fluttershy placed a delicate hoof on his lips to prevent him to talk any further. She quietly hushed him down. ''It's okay, let it all out.''

''Gee,'' said Applejack as she took her hat off. ''I'm mighty sorry ya ever felt that way, Discord, and ya should know we didn't mean to upset ya and leave ya out like that.''

''Oh. I'm sorry too,'' said Twilight. ''We didn't mean to forget to invite you to important events, we just wanted everything to run smoothly and not get interrupted by your chaos magic. But now we know that you are supposed to spread your chaos freely as it is in your nature.'' She turned to Fluttershy with a smile. ''And it's thanks to Fluttershy that we all know now.''

Spike chimed in. ''And you are such a great friend towards him, Fluttershy. You knew him so well and helped him stop fading away when he was acting so normal just for you. You know? That's proof you should date.''

''Kiss,'' Twilight simply stated with a smirk.

''What?!'' Fluttershy whimpered.

Twilight, Applejack and Spike cheered for them to kiss in unison until Discord grumbled and snatched the yellow pegasus in his arms and slowly pulled each other into a blissful kiss. They all adored in awe.

''Well,'' said Applejack, ''what can we say? The Fluttercord ship has finally sailed towards the shore.''

Spike nodded. ''I think our adventure today should be a great friendship assignment to Princess Celestia.'' He nudged Twilight. ''Don't you think, Twilight?''

Twilight nodded but blinked. ''Spike...'' Spike quickly appeared in front of her with a salute. ''Take a letter.'' He zoomed off to get a piece of parchment and a quill. She cleared up her throat. ''Dear Princess Celestia...''

''Today I have learnt that you should never leave one of your friends behind otherwise it would make them so miserable that they will have to end up pranking you to teach you a lesson. Unexpectedly, it was my good friend Discord that had taught me that. Also, THE FLUTTERCORD SHIP HAS FINALLY SAILED!!!'' Twilight chimed down. ''Your Faithful Student, Princess Twilight Sparkle.''

Spike signed off his name as well and blew green flames on top of it to send it to their royal highness.

In Canterlot, Princess Celestia was relaxing herself in her lounging room beside the fireplace until she got interrupted by a scroll materializing in front of her with green flames. She smiled warmly, levitating the scroll towards her to open it and have her eyes skim through the words on the page.

''Well done, Twilight Sparkle. You have made me proud being my student once again.''

I knew that all along!

Wind was hustling through all of the ponies in Ponyville as they were minding their own business. There was birds chirping in nests on tree branches as they had hatched their eggs with Fluttershy sitting beside them, watching in awe. Everypony in Ponyville were having joyful smiles on their faces as they were trotting around town. It was not like this everyday, it felt like today was something special but couldn't put a hoof on it on what made it feel special. Lyra was exchanging a gift to her newly fiancée Bon Bon since they had recently proposed to each other a couple of months ago. Vinyl and Octavia had also seemed like they had tied the knot.

At Sweet Apple Acres, an orange farm pony was bucking apples off a tree and letting them drop inside a basket. She wiped a sweat from her brow after a long day of hard work. She glanced at Big Macintosh, who was sleeping whilst having his back leaned against a tree. There was a piece of wheat in his mouth. Applejack rolled her eyes and turned around towards her tree that she had recently finished bucking.

Applejack's ears twitched to the sound of giggles coming from the background. She glanced around, trying to detect the source of the weird noises. She scattered through the isle of trees, flinching as the giggles had gotten closer. The cowgirl grumbled as she continued trotting through the path.

Apples were rolling forward in front of her as if it was magic. Applejack raised an eyebrow in bewilderment as she ran after them. They were leading to a pond and noticed the cowgirl's own reflection. She looked at herself as to why they had led her to a pond that is so shiny. She noticed a speck of dust was stained on her freckles and her mane was frazzled due to all of the hard work she had been doing recently. If Rarity was here, she would given her a makeover as soon as possible.

The cowgirl was getting impatient to find out what the presence of the giggles was since it was getting louder and louder as she moved. She stood back up from her crouching position and started trotting through the nearer trees. She looked up at the sky to spot a familiar rainbow mane hanging down from a fluffy white cloud. She smirked as she also had spot a poofy pink mane hanging down from the leaves of the tree.

She got out a ladder from her hat and leaned it against the tree to climb up towards the bush of leaves. She didn't hesitate to pull the pink tail down. Although, she didn't think about the consequences of her doing that. She immediately dropped to the ground along with the mysterious pink tail. She was now seen laying on the ground with a pink pony sitting on top of her.

She growled under her breath as she pushed the pink pony off of her back. Applejack glared at her but stopped to realise that there was another pony as well. She motioned her hoof to her eyes to the pink pony's ones, making her gulp sheepishly. Applejack grabbed a lasso from her hat and twirled it around in the air to grasp onto the rainbow tail, that was hanging down from a fluffy white cloud. A blue pegasus was then dragged down to the ground, having the cowgirl spit out her rope from her mouth.

''Will ya care to explain why ya were making me mad?'' Applejack asserted, scowling at them.

''Relax, AJ!'' Rainbow affirmed. ''We were just kidding around with you. It was Pinkie's idea.''

Pinkie was just waving her hoof at the cowgirl with a big smile on her face. The cowgirl rolled her eyes in annoyance, stepping in front of them boldly. A draconequus teleported in front of them.

''Well,'' said Applejack, ignoring the draconequus, ''you could have pranked when I'm not doing my chores. Ever thought 'bout that?''

Rainbow huffed. ''You're no fun. Come on, Pinkie. Let's go prank some other ponies, background pony.''

The rainbow maned blue pegasus started trotting off as she led the pink earth pony with her as she wrapped a hoof around her neck. Applejack nodded in approval until a twinge snapped her out of it.

''Hey!'' she called. ''What did you just call me?''

Discord rolled his eyes and teleported himself beside the two ponies' side.

Pounding herself on her bed, was flowing outside from her nostrils as she had breathed heavily. The cowgirl turned herself around as she was thinking about some things to herself.

''I mean,'' the cowgirl said, ''she wasn't entirely wrong, though. Was she?''

She thought back to all of those times where she was seen as just a background pony. In her group, Twilight was the most prominent pony in the whole wide world of Equestria since she is a princess. It would also be about Rainbow and Pinkie too since they are the most charismatic in the group and Rarity has three boutiques that are famous in all of Equestria. Although, it wouldn't really be about her or Fluttershy. For Fluttershy it would make sense but for Applejack?

Applejack would blame herself for this though since she would always get upset or angry whenever somepony pulls off a prank on her just like what happened a few minutes ago. She would enjoy a good joke but if it's too chaotic like Discord then she would have to deny it.

She had nothing against him anymore, just sometimes he can be a bit unpredictable. She knew her friend Fluttershy trusts him and is now dating him so she didn't know what she was so worried about him. Snapping out of her trance, Applejack tapped her chin to ponder to herself until a lightbulb had materialized on top of her. A big sly grin started forming on her lips.

She stormed out of her bedroom door, having Apple Bloom blink in bewilderment as she just stepped out of her own bedroom. Applejack quickly descended her staircase as Granny Smith, Big Macintosh and Sugar Belle watched her exit out of the barn in a hurry.

''Now, what has gotten that pony so worked up lately?'' Granny Smith questioned, raising an eyebrow. She turned towards her grandson and his wife for an answer but they just shrugged in response.

Applejack was trotting through the streets of Ponyville to spot a familiar rainbow maned blue pegasus talking with another familiar pink earth pony. She approached them with a smirk.

''Oh.'' Rainbow grunted. ''Hey there, Applejack. What's up?''

''Nothin', just...do you want to play off some of yerr tricks you got on someponies?''

Pinkie gasped, looking at Rainbow with a similar look. They both squealed, mind blown.

''You mean...?'' Rainbow started to say.

''You want to go pranking with us?'' Pinkie completed with a joyful bounce.

Applejack nodded. ''Only if you allow me to--'' She was suddenly caught off as they both tackled her with a tight hug around her neck. She wheezed until they pulled away from her.

''Of course we will!'' they exclaimed in unison, having a grin spread across the cowgirl's lips.

Three ponies and a draconequus were bouncing away from Twilight's kingdom as they had wagons on their backs with lots of books inside of them. They were all laughing with other as they got further away.

Spike was watching the whole scene from the window as Twilight approached him with a smile. His eyes went wide until he dragged the curtains closed on top of the window, having the violet alicorn blink in confusion.

Pinkie giggled. ''That was so fun! We should prank some more! It's even more fun with Applejack and Discord in our pranking club now. Don't you think, Dashie?''

Rainbow snickered. ''Yeah, I guess. So what shall we do now?''

Pinkie stopped in her tracks to ponder to herself, having the others do the same. She yelped happily for a joyful bounce once she had figured out a prank idea.

''How about we make the whole ice-skating rink into a chocolate river?'' Pinkie suggested, looking at the draconequus who wore a sly grin on his face as he was playing around with pirate boat in a bottle.

''Or how about we make Rarity's mane into cloud?'' Rainbow recommended, snickering to herself.

''Me having to make myself into Rarity and admit her feelings to...Oh. Never mind,'' Discord blurted, chortling.

''Guys,'' Applejack spoke in a louder voice. ''I think I have the most genius prank idea ever!''

Rainbow and Pinkie looked at each other and then back at the cowgirl. Discord was just fiddling with his fingers.

Applejack was in the of Twilight's castle with Spike in front of her as he held up a quill and parchment. Rainbow, Pinkie and Discord were sitting above them on a bay window. There was a pile of multiple scrolls beside them as they all snickered to themselves, whereas Discord turned himself into a rattle snake.

''Okay. Spike, take a letter to Princess Celestia,'' Applejack ordered.

''Already got it covered,'' Spike declared.

Applejack gave a smile in approval and started to let out words flow from her mouth. What Spike wrote was:

Dear Princess Celestia,

I have learnt a really valuable lesson about friendship today. What I learnt was...I didn't learn anything! I was right all along. Sure, I could always count on my friends and have a little fun with them but the truth is, I learnt that already too.

Yours,
Applejack AND PINKIE! AND RAINBOW DASH! AND DISCORD, CHAOS RESIDENT!

Spike winced, quickly writing down all of their names before rolling the paper up in a tube and sending it out of the window, letting it evaporate into green flames.

''Now Spike,'' the cowgirl said, ''double that letter multiple times and send it to the princess.''

''Uhm...okay?''

* * *

As Celestia finished reading the words off the page, she lowered the paper and looked bluntly. Luna was beside her, snickering to herself. Celestia turned towards her with a death glare.

She got out a quill and parchment but got interrupted with so many scrolls falling on top of her, making Luna laugh even harder on her. Celestia got her head out of the pile, sending her a glare at her for the last time.

She had enough of this. She levitated the quill and parchment out of the pile and started words.

Dear Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Discord and Spike,

As much as I love your silly little pranks, you should never EVER do it on a Princess of Equestria otherwise there would be very VERY serious consequences.

''I can't go to Tartarus!'' Discord exclaimed. ''What will Fluttershy think of me now? And I have already spent all of my life in that uncomfortable stone prison. This was all you incompetent fools' fault!''

''What?'' Rainbow shouted, getting taken aback by this. ''Don't blame me! This was all Applejack's idea!''

Applejack sheepishly tittered as she shrunk down to the ground.

''This was soooooo fun, though!'' Pinkie whined.

Spike was about to protest further until his cheeks puffed up and spat out a scroll with green flames. Discord snatched the scroll from his hands and skimmed over the words on the page. Pinkie, Rainbow and Applejack were all peering over so they could take a look as well.

''Letter time!'' they exclaimed in unison.

Spike facepalmed, getting out another piece of parchment as an from them and started jotting down words to whatever they were saying.

A draconequus was resting himself on a pink cotton candy cloud whilst overjoying the chaos on the grounds of Ponyville. He was eating a cookie with a topping of mayonnaise. He plotted the whole product in his mouth and chewed it in delight. He sighed, he hadn't realised having no friends isn't fun at all. He would always distract himself with chaos over the years of his existence, he never had put much thought into friends before.

''What are you talking about? Discord has plenty of friends!''

An unusual voice opened up and it wasn't squeaky like a certain pink earth pony. Instead, it was delicate and soft. Discord's ears perked up and peered over his cloud he had been laying on for the past few minutes. His eyes were soon met with beautiful teal eyes that were twinkling from the daylight of Celestia's sun.

A smirk formed on his lips and floated himself down to the ground in front of the shy pegasus. There was a strand of hair falling upon her eye until Discord had swiped it away and placed it behind her ear. They both stared into each other's eyes until Fluttershy was the one to break their eye contact.

''Hi,'' she spoke, rubbing her arm. ''What are you doing? And why is everypony going bananas in Ponyville?''

Discord materialized a lightbulb between his disembodied antlers. ''That's a good idea, my dear sweet Fluttershy. Why didn't I think of that?'' He snapped his talons and created a banana costume on Lyra's body which had made her fiancée laugh.

''I don't understand,'' said Fluttershy. ''I thought you had given up your destruct on Equestria.''

Discord pouted, holding the shy pegasus up in the air to admire the town of his glorious chaos. This had made Fluttershy wince, she would only like chaotic pranks but not like this. This was like when he was evil.

Fluttershy sighed. ''No, Discord. You never do this anymore, but pranks. You can do this at my cottage but not in the whole of Ponyville! You're becoming evil again. Did something happen?''

Discord paused. His tail snapped and made everything turn back to normal again. He looked at the shy pegasus with displeasing eyes. His lips quivered in miser and his head ducked down in shame.

''I'm sorry, Fluttershy. I just couldn't help but think I'm still that lonely Lord of Chaos.''

Fluttershy looked at him concernedly, holding onto his face to look at her. ''Oh, Discord, you are not lonely. You just had forgotten that we are all your friends now. You've just had one of those days, it's perfectly normal. It had happened to me a lot.''

Discord's ears perked up. ''R-Really?!''

Fluttershy nodded. ''Well, I guess you've stopped now so what do you say about a party with Angel?''

The draconequus huffed. ''You're kidding, right? That devil bunny hates me!''

She looked at him unsettlingly.

He sighed, but a lightbulb struck between his antlers again. ''Or how about we prank Princess Celestia, again?''

''Again?'' Fluttershy repeated, feeling a bit queasy.

''Yeah, I mean I am the Master of Pranks so what do you say, my sweet?''

''I...I...don't know. I wouldn't, I couldn't. What if she sends me to Tartarus?!''

He huffed. ''That was a prank from her the last time I pranked her.''

''I don't know, Discord, I really don't know.''

''Aw, come now.'' Discord didn't waste an opportunity to take the shy pegasus in his hands and teleported the two of them somewhere else.

Discord and Fluttershy were standing in front of the castle in Canterlot. The draconequus was snickering as he snapped his talons to turn the whole palace made out of cheese. Fluttershy took a sniff on the walls but then later on stuck her tongue out in disgust.

''Blue cheese,'' Discord stated. ''Isn't it original coming from me?''

The shy pegasus was about to answer until the gate fell open and had a dark blue alicorn stepping out. Her eyes spread out as she saw the draconequus standing before her. She was about to protest until she realised she was stepping on cheese. She flapped her wings but the substance was too sticky.

She growled under her breath. ''Discord!''

The draconequus was just laughing along with Fluttershy giving a soft and delicate laughter of hers, making Luna become infuriated even more until a tall white alicorn had stepped out of the castle behind her.

''What had happened here?'' she asked, looking at the blue walls on the castle.

''Blue cheese,'' Fluttershy answered. ''So what do you think?''

Celestia gasped. ''Fluttershy? You encouraged him?''

''I, well, um...''

''Discord!'' Celestia shouted. ''I thought I have told you multiple times to never prank me, again! And you even persuaded a sweet little pegasus to join your little mischief?''

''Oh, come on, Tia! I thought you were better than that!''

''Don't call her Tia,'' Luna muttered under her breath. ''Only I call her that.''

Discord scoffed. ''Well, you ponies are still boring over the past one thousand years I have lived in.''

''We aren't boring,'' Luna corrected, ''we are just more mature than you.''

''And you're saying I'm not?''

''No!'' the princesses exclaimed in unison, making Discord place a hoof offendedly and turned away from them as he crossed his arms against his chest.

Fluttershy stepped forward, placing a hoof on his shoulder comfortingly. ''Um, this wasn't Discord's fault at all, your highness. If was I for encouraging him to do so, and I'm sorry.''

Celestia and Luna looked at each other and shared a look.

''Your friendship with Discord means a lot to him, doesn't it?'' Luna asked.

Celestia nodded. ''That's why they are dating, Luna.''

''What?'' Luna squealed. ''Why wasn't I informed on this? It's no wonder you are backing each other up on this little mischief created by the Lord of Chaos.''

''True relationship goals,'' Celestia declared as she wiped away a tear.

They both soon realised that the interspecies couple weren't standing in front of them anymore. They blinked in bewilderment and stared at each other confusingly in unison.

Fluttershy giggled, wrapping a hoof around Discord's neck as they both sat down on a couch in her humble cottage. The draconequus had conjured up a parchment alongside with a quill dipped inside an inkpot.

''Go on, baby. You can do this and if you get in trouble, just know that I'm always here to back you up.''

Discord took the time to kiss the shy pegasus on the lips. She let out a moan as he pulled away. He picked up his quill again and started jotting down words on the paper.

Dear Princesses Celestia and Luna,

What is it you two do exactly? Oh, yeah, I remember now. You all do nothing but sit on your glorious thrones all day with those scrumptious butts of yours. You all depend on Twilight and her friends to defeat villains and protect Equestria. Isn't that right, Sunbutt and Moonbutt?

Discord, you look at their butts? Why would you cheat on me?

What? No, honey. That's not what I meant.

Hmph.

Discord looked at the yellow pegasus who was turned away from him. He sighed, rolling the paper up into a tube and dematerializing out of the window and letting it evaporate into green flames. He soon wrapped an arm around the pegasus but got shoved away. Chocolate milk was fuming from his ears until he splashed himself with strawberry milk.

He shivered off the strawberry milk from his taste buds which had gotten a giggle out of the yellow pegasus. He squealed and hugged her tight. Fluttershy rolled her eyes and took the time to accept it.

Celestia and Luna had finished reading their letter and lowered it in their hooves. Luna looked at her sister blankly and levitated a parchment and an inkpot with a quill inside of it towards her. Celestia nodded, levitating the quill in her magical grasp and started writing down words on the piece of parchment.

Dear Discord and Fluttershy,

How dare you speak like that to the Princess of the Sun? And the Princess of the Moon! Should I turn the both of you into stone? That way Fluttershy wouldn't kill me for turning you into stone alone, again?

Also, why call us Sunbutt and Moonbutt when you can call yourself Chaosbutt and Shybutt?

And honestly, how dare you call us useless?! We've battled so many villains before in the past! And now we are overloaded with so many royal duties. You know, you should rather think before writing and be a little bit more appreciative for us saving everyponies butts, and cordially yours, Fluttershy.

You really want Luna to turn into Nightmare Moon again just for the two of you? We know it's a prank but I can ask her to turn into her demonic self again to beat the shit out of you lot meddlesome ponies.

The draconequus fearfully backed away from her as he does know how she can get when angry. Gulping, he fell back due to one of Angel's toys laying on the ground and since he wasn't watching where he was going whilst walking backwards.

''This was all your fault!'' she declared angrily.

''Now, now, Fluttershy. You got to know that we both had lots of fun pranking the princesses of Equestria so I don't see why you should-YOW!''

A slap mark was now spread across the draconequus' face and there was also now a black eye.

''Fluttershy, please, you've got to-YOW! This is abuse-YOW! Stop that-YOW! Fluttershy, let me explain, please-''

''Please do then,'' Fluttershy affirmed, crossing her hooves against her chest in a serious manner.

He gulped. ''W-Well, you've got to admit that this was a lot of fun. Right? I mean the whole statue thing might be all a prank from them just like last time and you must know that I only did this for your benefit. To entertain you!''

Fluttershy was about to open her mouth but then got interrupted as a scroll materialized in front of them with green flames. The draconequus was about to grab it but the yellow pegasus snatched it away. Her eyes skimmed down along with the words written on the page.

She lowered the page in her hooves and gave out a sigh in defeat. ''I am sorry, Discord, for not listening to you.''

Discord winced. ''So it was a prank?''

She nodded. ''Sorry about the slap marks on your face.''

''Hey! No worries! I'm magical, remember?''

He snapped his talons and soon all of the slap marks were disappeared off of his face.

''Fascinating,'' Twilight murmured from the window of the cottage. ''I can't even do healing spells!''

Discord gasped. ''Fluttershy, I just discovered who we can do a prank on!''

Fluttershy raised an eyebrow. ''Who?''

''Let's prank the author of this story in the next chapter!''

An Adventure In The Depth Of An Ocean

Twilight, who was standing on the end of the map table with her friends opposite her, had her eyes spread out in shock. Everypony glanced at each other until Spike waved a fan at her since she was not moving.

Her mouth was dropped open as her hoof was motioned directly at the map table. Pinkie had closed her mouth closed, whereas Applejack had moved her hoof down to the floor. Because of this, Twilight snapped herself into reality again as she shook her head and turned back to her friends.

Everypony glanced at each other -- Twilight, on the other hoof, trotted towards the other side and placed her hoof on the edge of the table where her cutie mark was floating on top along with her friends.

''Does anypony know where in the wide world of Equestria the map wants us to send us to?'' Twilight spoke.

''It looks like some sort of ocean?'' Rainbow guessed.

''Yes, but why? It doesn't look like where the hippogriffs live because they live on Mount Aris.'' Her hoof was now placed on a mountain on the table. ''Or even in the ocean beside the mountain.''

''Doesn't this seem weird to you all?'' Spike asked. ''It's been a while since we've been sent on a friendship mission.''

''He's right,'' Rarity murmured.

''Now I wonder why that is,'' Applejack muttered as she tapped her chin.

Pinkie, who was sitting normally on her throne with a usually wide smile on her face, was giggling to herself -- having everypony turn to her in confusion. ''Maybe we get to meet my friend SpongeBob there!''

Rainbow flew over to her side. ''Who?''

''Why, that little yellow sponge who lives under the sea, of course!'' Pinkie declared with a glimmering smile.

This had made Applejack smirk at her innocence, whereas Rarity was standing right beside her with her cheeks puffed up with laughter and then let out a posh chuckle. Everypony stared at her in bewilderment.

The cowgirl trotted towards the violet alicorn to place an assuring hoof on her shoulder. ''You have nothing to be fretting about, Twilight. We'll all be by your side no matter what.''

Twilight smiled warmly once she noticed every one of her friends was giving comforting smiles around her. This sort of made the violet alicorn grit her teeth. ''I appreciate the love and support from every one of you a lot but I can't be the center of attention, it just doesn't seem right. Doesn't this seem unfair to you all?''

''What do you mean?'' Fluttershy inquired.

The violet alicorn sighed. ''We'll talk about this later but for now...Spike?'' A purple baby dragon with green polished scales stood in front of her with a salute. ''Send a letter to Princess Celestia.'' He zoomed off to get a piece of parchment and quill. Twilight nodded in approval. ''Dear Princess Celestia...''

''We have just been sent on a friendship mission by the map after so long but this time we're being sent off to the depth of an ocean?'' she said unsurely. ''If you have any idea what we are talking about, feel free to reply. Your Faithful Student, Princess Twilight Sparkle.''

Spike signed off with everyone's name - including his own - before rolling it into a tube and breathing green flames on top of it to dematerialize out of the window.

''And now we wait,'' said Twilight.

Pinkie sat still on the ground, watching blankly in space. Rainbow flew on over to her and waved a hoof against her face to snap her out of it. Soon after, Pinkie shook her head and turned to her friend with a smile.

Rainbow rolled her eyes -- until a letter materialized in front of them and had Spike pick up the letter for them. Twilight used her magic to levitate it towards her to read it aloud for everyone in the room.

Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle,

Bikini Bottom. I remember that town in the ocean. I once visited all the talking creatures in the ocean when Celestia and I were on our vacation but departed off on our own when we had an argument.

Never on my nine thousand years of ruling (nine thousand not ten thousand because a thousand years have cut through my reign, thanks to my dear fucking sister for sending me to the moon) have I ever met a talking sea creature. You all may not find it weird since there are sea creatures (or normal creatures per se) in the School of Friendship you six extraordinary girls have created. Which I must say was a brilliant idea.

Anyways, I promised them that I would visit them some time but I just didn't have the time to but since you all are being sent there, I suppose I should tag along too if you'd like?

Twilight lowered the paper as an eyebrow was raised on her expression once she turned around to face her friends again. She rolled the letter into a tube again and handed it over to her dragon companion.

''See!'' Pinkie beamed. ''I told you that we are going to meet my friend SpongeBob there!''

''No,'' Twilight uttered. ''I meant why did Princess Luna write 'Only Ruler of Equestria' when she's not the only Ruler of Equestria? And why did she write the letter instead of Princess Celestia?''

''I don't know,'' Rainbow replied casually. ''Probably banished her to the sun or something.''

From the corner of her eye, she caught Twilight writing on a piece of parchment with Spike's assistance. Twilight relaxed her tongue between her teeth as she skimmed down on the parchment.

Dear Princess Luna,

Forgive me for being so brash, your highness, but where is your sister? Why didn't she reply to my letter? Did something happen to her? Did she get kidnapped by one of those sea creatures and we have to save her that's why we are getting called by the map? They wanted a friend so they borrowed Princess Celestia for one?

Twilight signed the letter with her name and rolled it into a tube to hand it over to Spike. He grabbed it from her aura of magic and had his green flames envelope around the scroll to evaporate outside of the window.

Meanwhile, Princess Luna was sitting comfortably on her glorious throne alone in the Canterlot Castle throne room. She lowered the parchment in her hooves and stared blankly in space.

With her magic, she levitated a piece of parchment towards her along with a quill dipped inside a pot of ink. She splotched the quill into the inkpot to soak up the ink before writing on the page.

''I wonder why we aren't trotting off to our adventure slash friendship lesson already,'' Fluttershy said quietly.

Rarity nodded. ''Indeed, I wonder what Twilight is up to at the moment. I thought she loved going on adventures with us, so what changed?''

Pinkie gasped dramatically. ''Maybe Twilight doesn't like going on adventures with us anymore!''

''That's crazy,'' Applejack commented. ''Twilight is our friend and she needs us more than anything when it should be the other way around.''

''Don't you guys think Twilight might not like her princess title after all?'' Fluttershy pointed.

Rainbow huffed. ''Why wouldn't she? Being a princess is awesome!''

''I agree with Rainbow,'' said Rarity. ''Who wouldn't want to be a princess? She's just being modest then.''

''Twilight did say earlier that she doesn't like to be the center of attention since it doesn't seem unfair to us.''

Everypony stopped to glance at one another until Twilight banged a scroll on Pinkie's head which had made her dizzy and fall on her back. The violet alicorn gave out a cheerful smile.

''Okay, team! Let's finally gallop onto our adventure together!'' she announced.

They all cheered as they got ready to exit out of the throne room. Although, the excitement had dimmed down once Spike had interrupted them with a letter as he burped.

NOPONY CARES ABOUT YOUR STUPID FUCKING PRINCESS BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T EXISTS ANYMORE!

Twilight's eye twitched as she lowered the paper but Applejack snatched the letter from the air that was floating in her aura of magic. Her eyes skimmed down on the page until a smile formed on her lips.

''Why, how thoughtful of her to send us a map!'' Applejack said. ''Uh, where is it?''

Spike had burped but this time it wasn't a letter but a...

''Map!'' Rainbow exclaimed, holding it in the air for everypony to see.

''Great!'' Applejack said. ''Now let's go!''

They all finally ran out of the throne room and didn't hear a giggle coming from under the map table. A spark occurred which made someone cough due to it.

A tall white alicorn was smirking at the dark blue alicorn.

At the Ponyville train station, the six ponies and dragons were standing patiently as they waited for the train to arrive. Twilight had a map in front of her to know exactly where they are headed off to. Spike was holding multiple suitcases for the sophisticated white unicorn.

Applejack raised an eyebrow at this -- Rarity took off her sunglasses to look at her.

''We will be going to an ocean,'' Rarity explained harshly, ''I'm not going to pack summer supplies?''

''Ooh!'' Pinkie beamed. ''I'm so nervi-cited!''

''You do know that's not a word, right?'' Applejack said, raising an eyebrow.

''You do know that this feels like déjà vu, right?'' Rainbow mimicked with a smirk, causing the cowgirl to chuckle at her statement.

The train had reached a sudden halt in front of them with the bells churning. A train conductor stepped outside to announce everyone on and off. The six ponies and dragon handed over their tickets to step inside the train.

They all took their seats. Rarity and Applejack sat in front of Rainbow and Pinkie, whereas Fluttershy and Twilight sat beside them with Spike sitting in between them.

Twilight's face was inside the map during the whole train ride. Fluttershy felt the urge to nudge her in the side to get her attention away from the map and into reality.

''I'm sorry but I get that you are excited for this adventure to be so intrigued by the map but I have one question to ask,'' said the shy pegasus as she looked down at her hooves.

Twilight looked around to see everypony was paired up - which had seemed odd to her.

''Huh.'' She looked at Fluttershy, who was sitting next to her. ''Doesn't it feel strange to you that everypony is paired up? I mean did they do this on purpose because they, well...''

''Why, whatever do you mean, Twilight?'' she asked, tilting her head in confusion.

''I mean Rarity is paired up with Applejack and we all know that...well, you know.''

''No, I don't know what you are inferring at.''

''Oh well.'' Twilight shrugged, having her eyes focus on the map again.

Pinkie landed her face against the window to check out the wonderful scenery as they all went past a rainforest with lots of beautiful animals. This had gotten Fluttershy hyped up and had her eyes stare at all of the animals without a blink of her eyes.

''Oh, my,'' Rarity murmured. ''I wish I had my sketchpad.''

''Awesome!'' Rainbow exclaimed. ''Hey, look! We are entering through a mysterious cave now.''

This had made Pinkie scream, but everypony just rolled their eyes until they actually entered inside. Everything was pitch black and got everypony screaming in horror.

Once they exit out of it, the rainbow-maned blue pegasus then burst into an uncontrollable roar of hysterical laughter. Everypony glanced at each other then looked at her bluntly.

''Oh, as if you were never scared when we were in that tunnel,'' said Rarity in a serious tone.

Rainbow tried to maintain her laughter. ''Okay, sheesh. No need to get all defensive.''

On the other hoof, Spike was fidgeting in his seat as Twilight and Fluttershy were staring at him unpleasingly.

''Is everything okay, Spike?'' asked Twilight in concern.

''Are we there yet?'' he inquired. ''I really need to go to the bathroom.''

Everypony in the train cart groaned in annoyance -- which had gotten him even more constipated but Twilight helped by comforting him in her purple wing. Spike snuggled himself up to forget about this.

Suddenly, the train had made a halt and made the conductor get off the train again to announce his speech. Everypony was eager to bounce off as they took a look at the beautiful ocean.

''Race you to build a sandcastle!'' Rainbow declared, smirking at the cowgirl before running into the sand.

Rarity had made Spike lay a blanket on the sand for her to relax in. She ordered him to rub sun cream on her back so she wouldn't get any sunburn due to the blazing hot Celestia's sun. Of course, Spike didn't mind as he was so blinded by her amazing beauty and seductiveness.

Pinkie was playing with a beach ball she had secretly packed into one of Rarity's bags. Fluttershy was just standing quietly beside Twilight as she was still caught up in her map.

Soon after, she lowered it down to glance at everypony. ''Girls, this is a friendship quest, not some holiday!''

''Gee, you are right, Twilight.'' The cowgirl stopped patting on the bucket of sand with her spade. ''I can't believe we even forgot about it because we were busy distracted by all of this.''

Twilight sighed. ''It's alright, Applejack.''

Applejack turned around to face the others who were still playing. She sighed in disapproval, snatching the bucket and spade from Rainbow since she was playing with the sand.

''Get up,'' she ordered. ''We have a friendship quest here.''

Rainbow chuckled as she got up from the ground and got everypony else out of their holiday trance and made everypony stand firmly in front of the ocean.

''Alright, everypony.'' Twilight trotted across from them. ''Are we all ready to swim into the ocean and help a town?''

They all had saluted. Twilight nodded in approval until Spike pulled onto her mane to get her attention.

''Uh, Twilight? How are we going to do that when we aren't in Seaquestria?''

Twilight looked at him blankly. And then facehoofed herself. ''You're right, Spike. How did I not put thought into this before? Now, what do we do now? How did Princess Luna enter into the ocean?''

Everypony glanced at each other until they had heard a voice coming from behind them. They all raised an eyebrow and turned around to see a weird creature wearing a pirate's hat and an eyepatch. A hook was attached to his hand.

''If you are not a sea creature then I suppose you should add these to your noses,'' said the pirate as he picked up a star that was attached to the sand.

Pinkie looked at him suspiciously. ''Hey, I know you...''

''You do, my little pony?'' he asked, raising an eyebrow. Pinkie nodded in response. ''How?''

''SpongeBob SquarePants!'' she exclaimed briefly.

He gasped. ''You know who that yellow sponge is?!''

Pinkie huffed, rolling her eyes. ''Duh! I'm a fourth-wall breaker after all!''

The pirate nodded in understanding and gave out seven stars for the six ponies and dragon to wear on top of their noses so they could start breathing underwater.

They all turned to him thankfully before simultaneously diving into the ocean together.

Under the ocean, Pinkie and Rainbow were giggling to themselves as they all tried swimming down to the bottom. Rarity hushed the two of them down once Twilight had her eyes laid on a town with lots of fishes walking in between.

Twilight had led the girls down to the bottom, except for Pinkie and Rainbow who had spotted a cave sitting still on a mountain. They were somehow eager to check it out.

''Hello,'' said Twilight to a pink fish wearing a blue bikini. ''I'm Princess Twilight Sparkle and we are sent here to solve a friendship problem. So, do you have any problems in this little town of yours?''

''Now I know why it's called Bikini Bottom,'' Rarity whispered to Applejack as she pointed at the fishes walking around in bikinis. This had made the cowgirl chuckle.

The fish that Twilight had been talking to casually walked right past her with a roll of her eyeballs.

''Well,'' said Rarity, ''that was rude of them to just walk right past you.''

''Um, guys? Aren't we missing something, or somepony, or someponies?'' Fluttershy said quietly.

''What do y'all think we should do?'' the cowgirl asked. ''If this place is full of rude rodents.''

''Maybe we should try to...'' Fluttershy trailed off.

''I think our problem is to decorate these buildings.'' Rarity grimaced. ''Ugh, it stinks.''

''Maybe we should be able to find the others...'' said Fluttershy.

Twilight sighed. ''I don't know. For the tenth time, I feel like a Princess of Failure.''

''You're not a failure, Twilight,'' Applejack assured her. ''We are right here to support you.''

''GUYS!'' Fluttershy shouted loudly, making a baby fish cry in its pushchair. She turned to the baby and the parent apologetically but they had walked away from her.

''Yes?'' said Applejack, finally paying attention to her due to her outburst.

Fluttershy cleared her throat, smiling at them friendly. ''Don't you think you are forgetting about someponies?''

Everypony looked at each other in confusion until Rarity had figured out what she was inferring.

''Pinkie and Rainbow!'' she exclaimed. ''Where are they?!''

The horror began on their faces. And then they all started panicking and scattering around the place to find the two missing ponies. Fluttershy, on the other hoof, was just shaking her head displeasingly.

''That's what I've been trying to tell you,'' she said.

Pinkie and Rainbow had found themselves in a dark and mysterious cave until Pinkie had got out a torch from her sentient pink poofy mane to flash the light presence that was coming out of it on the walls for them to see. But they still had to squint their eyes to see even clearer.

''Where are we?'' Rainbow inquired. Turning around to face her friend, a slight twinge had occurred through her body. Then a drip splotched on her fringe which had gotten her to turn around again.

Pinkie's eyes were filled with horror and dragged her friend to her side so they could start running. The beast started running after them.

''What is that thing?!'' Rainbow shouted, glancing at her friend.

''I don't know but quick!'' Pinkie replied, spotting a ladder in front of them. She pushed her friend up so she could also make herself climb behind her as well. Unfortunately, the beast was fast enough to catch up to them and crash into the wall. The wall crashed down along with the two ponies. They hugged each other tight, shivering and saying their last words.

''I don't want to die!'' they exclaimed, screaming in fright.

The beast stopped in his tracks, looking down at them cautiously. Pinkie and Rainbow stopped their screaming and blinked. They looked at each other in bewilderment.

''It's okay. I won't hurt you,'' the creature friendly said.

''Won't hurt us?!'' they said in unison. They glanced at each other for the last time. The creature nodded with a friendly smile which had gotten the two ponies even more confused.

''I'm sorry for chasing you,'' he apologised. ''I just tend to do that when I have an intruder in my home.''

''This is your house?'' Rainbow said, glancing at the dented cave walls.

Pinkie frowned. ''We are sorry for intruding on your home, mister. You see, we are new here and, well...''

''I know,'' he interrupted. ''You don't look like creatures that would live under the sea and because of those starfishes on your cute little noses.''

Pinkie giggled. ''Well, we are actually here for a friendship problem so do you know where something like that could be around here?''

The creature then broke into a miserable cry. Water started raining on the two ponies. Rainbow groaned in annoyance, however, Pinkie looked sympathetically at him and rubbed his back comfortingly.

''Aw, there, there, it's alright.''

''I'm sorry but...I don't have any friends!'' he cried. ''Everyone hates me because of my hideous looks and that's why I act so aggressive whenever there's an intruder because I know why they came! To make fun of me!''

''Aw, that doesn't look like a good presence to me,'' Pinkie replied.

''It's whatever,'' said Rainbow. ''You should probably try maintaining your anger on ponies, err, creatures and maybe that's why you don't have any friends.''

Pinkie nudged her. ''Dashie! What a thing to say! Now, mister, err, what's your name?''

The creature sniffed. ''Sandino, but call me Sand.''

Pinkie smiled warmly at him -- shaking his hand. ''Hello, Sand. I'm Pinkie Pie and this is Rainbow Dash. We are sorry that you are lonely but if you want, you can be our friend!''

The beast rubbed his eyes, couldn't believe what he was hearing. ''Really?!''

''Yeah!'' Pinkie beamed, nudging Rainbow in the side.

''Why not?'' she grumpily said.

They were both surprised by a tight hug from the creature as he again burst into a fountain of tears, but this time it was full of happy tears.

''And I thought Pinkie was good at tight hugs and fountain of tears,'' Rainbow mumbled.

They both giggled as they snuggled themselves into the hug, not hearing an evil chuckle from the creature.

Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy were soon found in front of a building that was shaped like a lobster's trap with a pole in front of it that had the title 'Krusty Krabs' displayed. They all looked at each other before trotting inside of the weird building.

They were soon met by a red crab draped in a blue suit with a black belt. He was pinching his claws as he walked towards them. ''Hello, my little ponies! Have you came to eat a Krabby Patty at the Krusty Krab?''

A turquoise squid was snorting to himself as he was reading a magazine inside a boat with a register in front of him. Behind him was a window with a yellow sponge popping out with a tray that had a burger and a drink placed neatly on top.

His attention was trailed onto a group of four colourful ponies. He walked towards them to greet them.

''Hello! My name is SpongeBob SquarePants!'' he greeted with a polite smile.

It was a yellow sponge with big blue eyes (similar to Pinkie's) and he was wearing a white shirt with a red bowtie and squeaky black shoes. He was also wearing a friendly smile that was also similar to Pinkie's.

''Hey,'' said Applejack. ''Isn't he the sponge that Pinkie mentioned earlier?''

''Speaking of Pinkie,'' Twilight murmured, ''we have to find her and Rainbow.'' She stepped in front of them with a cleared throat. ''My name is Princess Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends: Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy. Although, two of our friends are missing and we need to find them so we could solve a friendship problem here.''

''You don't need to.''

They all turned around to spot a creature standing at the doorway with two ponies riding on his back. This had made the four ponies hype up and run towards them.

However, Mr. Krabs was having his eyes crossed onto the dreaded beast.

''Plankton,'' he mumbled.

''Krabs,'' he muttered.

''What are you doing here, Plankton?'' Mr. Krabs inquired, having a sour look appear on his face.

Plankton placed a hoof to his chest to seem offended. ''Why, am I not welcomed here?''

''Uh,'' Rainbow muttered. ''I thought his name was Sandino.''

''You were mistaken, my little naïve ponies, and thank you for leading me to the Krusty Krab so I could get my hands on that Krabby Patty secret formula!'' He burst into a maniacal roar of laughter as he took off his costume to reveal himself.

The six ponies were about to question further until SpongeBob walked up to them to answer their question.

''Plankton is actually an enemy of the Krusty Krab because he wants to steal our secret ingredient of what we are cooking to our fellow customers because he doesn't get any customers in his own restaurant over there,'' he explained as he gestured over at a building outside of the window in the shaping of a bucket that had the title 'The Chum Bucket' displayed in big dark red writing.

''He needs to learn to be more original,'' Rarity articulated.

However, Pinkie and Rainbow were sulking to themselves in the corner until Fluttershy approached them with a soft pat on their backs. She gave out an assuring smile.

''We have just lost a friend!'' Pinkie exclaimed, crying even further.

''Maybe that's it,'' Fluttershy declared. ''Maybe this is our friendship problem. To stop the feud between the two restaurants and make them become friends!''

Rainbow looked at Pinkie. ''That sounds about right.''

Plankton was using his ray gun to blast all of the creatures who were attacking him. Once he was done, he sneakily walked inside a room that had looked like an office.

A devious smirk landed on his lips as he made a big leap onto a safe, rolling it open until he got stopped by the lights flickering open. He growled in frustration as he spotted a red crab standing at the doorway.

''Oh, come on!'' he shouted with a hint of frustration in his tone.

Mr. Krabs walked towards the safe to pinch onto the small green insect's antlers to get ready to blast him out to his own restaurant but wanted to have a bit of fun with him first.

''I got to say, Plankton, that your plans into stealing the Krabby Patty secret formula are always a total bust.''

''Only because I'm tiny!'' he exclaimed, wiggling his legs aggressively in the air. ''If I was your size, you couldn't pick me up! Although, I as a tiny being gets me to be sneaky.''

''I would still be able to win,'' Mr. Krabs declared confidently.

Plankton growled through his teeth. ''I hate you, Krabs! I will always hate you! Forever in my life, my blood will always boil because of YOU destroying my genius plans! You will always be that spoiled brat that gets everything! I hate you!''

Mr. Krabs sighed, walking up to his desk to take a seat. He laid the small green insect on the table. ''Look, Plankton. I'm sorry I always win and I love money so much but sometimes you have to take care of yourself.''

''Is that why you never let me work with you?'' he inquired.

''No, Plankton. You chose to flee and abandon me. I wanted the both of us to work together just like when we were kids but it seemed like you had other plans.''

''Gee, I didn't know. Now I feel like apologising to you, Krabs.'' This had gotten the red crab's attention. ''When we were kids, we were inseparable but now we are having a feud between each other over one silly recipe?'' He shook his head. ''It's stupid.''

Mr. Krabs smiled. ''I feel the same way, Plankton. I'm sorry too.''

''So, can we...work together and officially become friends again?''

Mr. Krabs stared at him to check there wasn't any trickery on his expression. He let out a defeated sigh and shook his tiny hands for approval.

Standing at the door, there were multiple different creatures watching the scene in awe.

Rainbow nudged Fluttershy. ''I guess you were right. This was the friendship problem.''

Fluttershy nodded until she felt something buzz on her flank. The six ponies took a glance at their cutie marks, only to see them glowing. Twilight turned around to her friends with a smile.

''Well, gang, I guess everything worked out in the end.''

Pinkie was crying a fountain of happy tears, having the place be filled with water and having all the fishes make their way out of the restaurant in paddle boats.

''But we are in the water,'' Rainbow pointed. ''I don't understand.''

A squirrel, who was wearing a white spacesuit, walked over to them. ''You'll get used to it.''

''So, how do we make it back to the surface?'' Applejack questioned.

''I think we can stay here for a little bit,'' said Twilight. ''Come on! We still haven't tried those delicious Krabby Patties! I have always wanted to try them ever since we got here and I am starving!''

Everyone chuckled as they made their way over to the register where the squid was sleeping on the job. Nevertheless, Pinkie got out a horn from her mane to blow it in his ears. He screamed, having everyone laugh out of joy. Squidward placed sponges inside his ears with a groan of annoyance as he got back to his sleeping.

We're Back

All of the creatures of Bikini Bottom were standing outside of the Krusty Krab restaurant to say their final goodbye's to their fellow my little pony friends.

Pinkie and SpongeBob were holding each other tight as they released a big fountain of tears from their blue eyes. Twilight was talking about interesting things with a squirrel, who was wearing a white spacesuit, called Sandy. Rainbow and Applejack were talking with Squidward since they wanted to know what was in the Krabby Patty -- as they had found it absolutely scrumptious. Rarity and Fluttershy were just trying to get everyone's attention so they could head off already.

''Come on,'' said Rarity. ''Aren't you all going to help us swim back to the surface or what?''

''Hold your horseshoes,'' Sandy muttered. ''I'm ready with my spacesuit all tucked up - now, hold on to us so we can manage to swim up to the shore.''

Everypony held onto their partners; Twilight and Applejack were holding onto Sandy, Pinkie and Rainbow were holding onto SpongeBob, Fluttershy and Rarity were holding onto Squidward and Patrick were carrying Spike.

They all started moving their arms, legs, and hooves to swim up and tried to increase their pressure to get to the surface faster. A while later, they all landed on a hill that was a few inches away from the surface because the sea creatures wouldn't be able to breathe air. So, they let the ponies pop their heads out of the water and climb onto a surface area.

Each of the six ponies splattered water off their furs and took off the starfishes that were on their noses. They all glanced around to realise that they weren't at a beach at all, but an island.

There were beautiful animals swinging on the tall tree -- which had cocoanuts hanging from. Applejack licked her lips and rubbed her hooves together as she hopped onto the tree to climb up and grab the products. She kicked it down to the ground, having the ponies move so they wouldn't get smashed. The cowgirl slid on the tree and hopped back to the ground again.

''So, how do we get back to the train station to Ponyville?'' Rainbow asked, draining out the water from her feathers. ''And I don't think I could fly us all there. Neither can Fluttershy or Twilight.''

''Can't you teleport us there, darling?'' Rarity inquired, glancing at the violet alicorn.

''Oh, I don't know if I can do very long distances - that's Starlight's thing.'' Her horn started fizzing due to the water still enveloped around.

Rarity tried powering up her own horn with the presence of blue magic. Although, it had also started fizzing like the violet alicorn. They all paused to ponder to themselves for some ideas.

A lightbulb struck above Pinkie's head as she bounced high onto the tree to grab some leaves and bounced back down to grab some sticks. Everypony stared at her in bewilderment -- wondering what she was doing. Pinkie was trying to combine them together but failed to do so.

Fortunately, the cowgirl finally started to know what she was up to and so lend her hoof at it. She tied multiple sticks together with some vines she had gotten from the tree and threw them on the water to test if they would float. Everypony looked at the two proud ponies with a mix of satisfaction and amazement.

Soon later, they all hopped onto the raft and had Rainbow using her hoof to sail them away.

''Do you still have that map, Twilight?'' Rainbow asked, hopefully.

Twilight scrunched her nose and facehoofed. ''It got all wet so I left it at Bikini Bottom.''

Everypony groaned in annoyance, however, Pinkie got out a scroll from her sentient mane. Twilight tried using her magic to levitate it towards her and unwrap it. Her (and everypony who was peeking over) eyes widened.

''Pinkie?!'' Twilight said, lowering the map. ''Where did you get this?''

Pinkie shrugged. ''I make sure to keep useful things in my mane every time since I do have a gift.''

Rainbow chuckled. ''Looks like your mane is useful after all.''

The cowgirl rolled her eyes and took over the sailing herself since the blue pegasus was distracted in talking. They could already see a beach that had a train station nearby. She tried increasing the sailing up a bit to reach shore already.

Fortunately, they had made their raft onto shore and got off.

Pinkie looked at Twilight, pouting. ''Can we play in the sand now? Please, please?!''

Twilight sighed in exasperation. ''Sure, why not? It's not like we're keeping anypony behind at home if we do.''

Rarity gasped, finding her suitcases laying in the sand, almost covered. Spike bit his lip sheepishly and tried swiping the sand away and lifting it up. The white unicorn used her magic to grab two towels - one for wiping the water off her fur and one for placing on the sand so she could lay on it.

Rainbow and Applejack were playing with a buckball (they had packed in one of Rarity's bags) with Fluttershy and Pinkie.

Twilight grinned sheepishly -- trying to grab a book from the pink earth pony's sentient mane but had received a lollipop that was covered in green pigment substance.

Pinkie turned around to see what her friend was trying to do. Her eyebrow was raised on her expression.

''Let me guess,'' said Pinkie, ''you want to grab a book from my mane but you don't know how to use this?''

Twilight smiled nervously and nodded as Pinkie grabbed a book from her mane and lend it over to her. A wide smile appeared on her lips as she snatched it away from her and zoomed off to read it somewhere quiet.

She was stood behind a tree as she leaned her back against it and flipped open the book. ''I don't think I have ever read this book before, which is unlikely for me because I have read every book in Equestria!'' She turned to the cover again to read the title. ''Unlikely Love - written by Pinkamena Diane Pie!'' Twilight lowered the book, pondering to herself. ''Pinkie writes books?!'' She had spotted an orange earth pony placing a cowgirl hat on top of a white unicorn's head.

Twilight's eyes twinkled in amazement and started skimming through the words in the book.

A few hours later, they galloped off to the train station as the train had churned to get their attention, meaning they had arrived. They all hopped on the train and took their seats.

This time was a different seating plan -- Rarity was sitting with Rainbow with Fluttershy and Pinkie sitting in front of them. Twilight and Applejack were sitting beside them with Spike in between.

''What are ya reading there, Twi?'' Applejack asked, curious.

Embarrassed, Twilight quickly tucked the book in between her hooves. Although, the pink earth pony, who was sitting on the other side of the cart, was smirking happily.

''Hey!'' she called. ''Isn't that the fanfiction I wrote about Rarity and Applejack?''

''What?!'' the former and the latter said in unison.

They then turned around and minded their own business again by talking with their partners, whereas Twilight was covering her embarrassed look behind an open book.

The cowgirl scratched her head sheepishly. ''Hey, Twilight. May I talk to you about something?''

Twilight nodded, putting the book back in one of Rarity's bags with her magic. ''What is it, Applejack?''

She gulped, finding the correct words to begin. ''W-Well, let's just say that this girl has a crush on somepony else. What do you do?''

Twilight rubbed her chin. ''If this pony is you, then they would have the right to know your feelings.'' She wrapped her wing around her for comfort. ''But don't worry, Applejack, because I know that Rarity likes you back as well.''

''What?'' Applejack said. ''Who said I have a crush on Rarity? I don't have a crush on Rarity!''

''Wow,'' Pinkie uttered. ''You really need to keep quiet, AJ, but lucky for you, Rarity is asleep!''

Twilight and Applejack glanced at the three ponies sleeping on the other side of the cart and a baby dragon as well that was in between them. The violet alicorn watched him in awe.

Pinkie bounced over to Applejack. ''We can talk about this another time!''

The train had reached a sudden halt and made everypony in the train cart wake up. They all groaned and rubbed their eyes as they got pushed out by Twilight, Applejack, and Pinkie.

As they got out of the train, Twilight was giving a wink to the cowgirl as a hint. Applejack, who looked very flustered, blushed as she looked at Rarity into her sapphire blue eyes.

''Uh, Rarity?'' said Applejack. ''I wouldn't mind walking you home.''

''My, you're an absolute darling!'' Rarity exclaimed, gripping onto her hoof. As she had sent a wink at a rainbow-maned blue pegasus, they both trotted towards the direction of Carousel Boutique.

Twilight and Spike had finally reached home and threw themselves on the ground to rest. Starlight came around to shook her head and used her magic to carry them off to their beds.

She tucked the baby dragon in his cozy basket and switched off the lights once she heard him snoring off to slumber already. She smiled with a mix of awe and satisfaction before closing the door shut and trotting off to her own bedroom.

Twilight, on the other hoof, was in the throne room with a piece of parchment and an inkpot with a quill inside it that was laying on top of the map table. She jotted the quill on the page to start writing down words.

Dear Princess Celestia and Princess Luna,

My friends and I have just come back from our adventure and it was all so interesting! Oh, boy! Where do I even begin?

We met a pirate on the beach and gave us each a starfish so we could breathe underwater. We dived into the sea and swam all the way down to the bottom to meet some sea creatures, called: SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Plankton, and Sandy Cheeks (she's my personal favourite since she is so smart and interesting to learn from).

Since we were sent on a friendship mission and not just for a random adventure, we've helped two restaurants reunite and stop their feud. Or rather, they stopped themselves by letting their feelings out.

The Krabby Patties there are delicious, you won't believe it! If you don't know what they are, they are burgers but even delicious than the ones you get in Equestria! I got to say that this was the most fun adventure in the history of the most fun adventures ever!

Twilight smiled, signing the letter with her name and rolling it into a tube. She enveloped a presence of purple magic around her horn to dematerialize the scroll out of the window, not wanting to bother Spike from his nap.

Standing in the doorway, Starlight slowly closed it with a peaceful smile and headed back to her room again. Relaxing her head on her pillow, she slowly closed her eyes to drift off to slumber.

At Ponyville Carousel Boutique, Rarity and Applejack had finally reached home (for the white unicorn).

''Thank you so much for trotting me home, Applejack,'' said Rarity with a glimmering smile.

A red blush was stained on the southern mare's cheek as she rubbed her arm sheepishly. As she lifted her head up to glance at the sophisticated white unicorn again, she was surprised by a kiss on her freckles.

Applejack froze as Rarity entered her home with a chuckle. Closing the door, Applejack slowly lifted up her hoof to touch the spot she had just kissed.

She yelped herself in the air, not noticing the white unicorn giving a small posh chuckle in the window before covering it with a purple curtain again.

A little bit more...

Pacing around the Castle Library, Twilight Sparkle found herself in a seemingly stressed-out state with Spike standing on the side with a parchment and quill, ticking everything as she was running around to try and find some notecards for her upcoming exam that is in for about an hour.

Starlight Glimmer was just shaking her head in disapproval as she entered inside the library and stood beside Spike. With a glow of her magic, she levitated a stack of scrolls that the stressed-out-mare was trying to find.

Spike sighed in exasperation. ''You have nothing to be worrying about, Twi. Princess Celestia is going to accept your examination techniques no matter what. I mean you have done this before many times so what's the big-''

Twilight zoomed in front of him. ''Yes, but this is my first exam in like, forever! There's no time for chit-chat! What if Princess Celestia had changed the rules, or either...''

Starlight clipped her mouth closed, getting a hoof-bump from Spike in approval.

''Don't worry, Twilight. Just do your best, and we'll all be here to support you. Just keep your head up high and maintain your best spirit. Isn't that what you always would tell me to do?''

Twilight took a deep breath. ''Thanks, Starlight. I really needed that.''

She zoomed out of the door with a stack of scrolls hovering behind her with her magic.

Spike coughed. ''Are you serious? I've been trying to tell her all day! How could you do that?''

Starlight smirked. And then shrugged. ''A magician never reveals its secrets.'' She trotted confidently out of the door to check how the violet alicorn was doing now, leaving Spike groan in annoyance.

Two of the royal Canterlot guards were standing outside of the throne room as it was their duty to. Princess Celestia was sitting on her throne, looking through test papers from a student of hers.

Next was a blue, yellow and white-coated unicorns entering inside the throne room to do their test now. Twilight sheepishly trotted forward, not trying to lock any contact with one of the guards. Until, she felt a tap on her shoulder.

She turned around to notice a buttermilk-coated unicorn with red hair and purple highlights and glasses were now standing in front of her. She gave out a big, warm smile.

''Hey there, Moondancer!'' Twilight chirped. ''Are you nervous for your exam, too?''

''Me?'' she asked. ''No, no, no! But why are you here? I thought you graduated when you became into an alicorn princess.''

''Oh. Yeah, I did. But I talked with Princess Celestia about becoming her student again and you are no longer looking at the Princess of Friendship anymore because I have stepped down my role.''

''Why?''

''Eh. I just thought it was all stupid.''

''I see.''

The door swung opened, having blue, yellow and white-coated unicorns starting to exit out of the throne room and sending goodbye waves to their other two unicorn friends. Twilight and Moondancer waved back in return.

Twilight gulped, turning around to face Moondancer with a sheepish smile, receiving a ''good luck!'' from her. Smiling and having her confidence increase, she stepped forth.

''Hello, Princess Celestia.'' Twilight bowed down elegantly for respect. Her horn glowed to levitate all of her equipment in front of her. ''I'm ready to ace this exam. I mean, I was up all night and...''

She was interrupted as the sun princess held up her hoof for her to stop. She stood up from her throne and came near her firmly. She spread out her wings as she looked down at her student.

''I can see you are still stressed as always,'' Celestia remarked. ''Although, as I said before that this would be a different sort of test but not like the Crystal Empire one, so there should be no need to worry.''

Twilight flattened her eyes back in place and took a breath of relief. ''Oh, thank goodness.''

''But that doesn't mean it's going to be easy.'' Celestia narrowed her eyes at her. ''It's not, well for an alicorn.''

''Huh?'' Twilight uttered. She noticed her saddlebag was getting pulled forward to her mentor with a glow of yellow presence.

''Do you remember when I said in one of our previous letters that you seemed to be a lot more powerful as a unicorn than an alicorn? But I suggested that it was an all alicorn thing.''

''Yes.'' Twilight nodded meekly. ''I do remember.''

Celestia nodded, folding back her wings and lifting up her head to face the door. ''Guard Sentry?''

''Yes, your highness?'' a guard with a blue mane and orange-coat peeked his head through.

''If there's a yellow unicorn with a flame mane standing in the line, then please ask for her to come inside.''

''Right, your majesty.'' He nodded as he took his head out and spotted a unicorn in the line just the way the sun princess had described. She sheepishly smiled as she trotted inside the throne room.

''You wish to see me, your majesty?'' asked the yellow unicorn.

''Yes, as I recall, I said that you two could work together in assignments or tests ever since you two became my students again. Would you like to do that in this test right now?''

Twilight and Sunset both looked at each other pleasingly. ''Of course!'' they cried in unison.

''What would you like for us to do, your highness?'' Twilight asked.

Celestia smirked. ''I remember when you would always struggle to do transfiguration spells as a unicorn, but can you try doing it as an alicorn?''

''But you said that I was good as a unicorn but bad as an alicorn,'' Twilight reminded.

''Yes, I did. But just try.''

Twilight took a deep breath and nodded. Celestia allowed one of her cakes to be her student's object. The violet alicorn powered up her horn with a glow of magenta and levitated the cake in the air. Her cheeks puffed due to frustration until she was nearly doing it...

''Picture the object in your mind,'' said Celestia soothingly. ''And let go all of your stress.''

Twilight wheezed, maintaining her last breath. Until, she gave up and collapsed to the ground, releasing every breath from her lungs. She kept on breathing heavily as Sunset stroked her on the back.

''Did I do it?'' Twilight asked, glancing at the cake. She groaned in frustration. ''I'm sorry, Princess Celestia. I have failed you.''

''No, it is quite all right, my faithful student.'' She sighed in despondent. ''Sunset Shimmer?''

The yellow-coated unicorn's head perked up, having it nod. She engulfed a presence of red magic around her own horn and levitated the cake in her magical grasp. She tried picturing a cell phone in her head and casted the transfiguration spell.

Once she opened her eyes to take a look, she was shocked to discovered her result.

Celestia levitated the weird-looking object towards her to examine what it was. But at least she had teleported it into something. She then nodded in approval.

''Very well done, Sunset.'' She smiled with glee. ''And as for you, Twilight...''

Twilight ducked her head with a mix of shame, embarrassment and disappointment. ''I know, Princess Celestia, and I'm sorry. I'll do better next time. I promise - you know I will.''

Celestia sighed. ''I hope you do but that wasn't really your test for today.''

Twilight's head perked up. ''It isn't?''

''Wait. It isn't?'' Sunset repeated.

Celestia shook her head. ''I want to know what the most important friendship lesson was that you learnt. From the both of you, I mean.''

''Oh. Well, the most important friendship lesson that I have learnt was when Pinkie Pie was paired up with me for a Trivia game and I was so annoyed because I thought she was going to make me lose since she's not really the pony to have that much knowledge if you get what I mean.'' Twilight sheepishly tittered. ''Anyway, I was so terribly wrong. It looked like that she was only answering questions wrong because of me. Well, if only I hadn't been so cruel on her and perhaps kicked her out of the game and be a true friend...''

Celestia nodded in approval. ''Excellent, Twilight Sparkle. Sunset Shimmer?''

''Well, my most important friendship lesson that I have learnt was from Pinkie Pie too, however, from my world. All she ever wanted was to have fun with me but I was just too excited for a celebrity's concert that I got annoyed by her. And then I ended up lashing out on her because I thought it was her fault for creating a time loop, but really, it was just the celebrity I was talking about. I have learnt to always pay attention to your friends, even when they always seem to be...out of hand.''

Celestia lowered her checklist. ''Uh, hand?''

Sunset nervously chuckled. ''I meant to say hoof.''

''Of course.'' Celestia dematerialized the checklist away and turned to her two students.

''You both did an excellent job. I did the right thing combining you two together on assignments. Although, I have one more favour to ask. Sunset, I would like for you to help Twilight with her magic. And Twilight, I would like for you to help Sunset with analysing.'' She turned to her students. ''Is that too much to ask?''

''No, no. Not at all, your highness.''

''Good. All right. You are both dismissed.''

Twilight and Sunset exited out of the throne room as another student had entered inside.

''So, what do you think about the test we just had? Was it something unexpected?''

A question had slipped through the violet alicorn's lips as she started trotting through the streets of Ponyville with her yellow-coated with a flame mane unicorn friend.

''Eh. It wasn't that bad, but all right. Although, I can't believe I was shown to be more powerful than you!''

Twilight sighed. ''First Starlight and now you?! I bet Trixie's going to be next as well! I used to be a super unicorn before but now...'' she said with a hint of mockery, ''thanks to Princess Celestia!''

''Woah...since when have you mocked your favourite mentor?''

''Favourite Mentor? What do you mean?''

''Never mind.'' Sunset rolled her eyes.

They soon reached at their destination and trotted through the doors of the Castle Library. Sunset hopped herself back into the portal, whereas Twilight slouched her face on a table with Spike walking up towards her.

''Hey, Twilight!'' he called. ''How was the test?''

With a few inaudible mumbles through the table, Twilight lifted her up to glance at Spike with a blunt look.

''Let's just say that I'm still not quite powerful yet and have a lot to learn.''

Advice From The Princess of Love

...And then Applejack pulled Rarity by her delicate waist and dragged her into a romantic, soft, and passionate kiss. It was so adorable! She wrapped a hoof around her new girlfriend’s neck and had both of their eyes slowly close as they drifted further into bliss. Twilight lowered the book into her lap as she rested herself comfortably on the couch in her living room of the castle during the whole read through her friend’s hoofmade-written book. A smirk softly landed on her lips with flying hearts circulating above her head as she drifted into the imagination of the two shipmates. Sighing flirtingly, she quickly snapped herself out of her envision and turned herself back into reality.

‘’Wow,’’ she uttered. ‘’That was actually good than I have expected, especially when she’s...I mean she’s great! And nice hoofpicked for shipmate choices and the descriptive writing was spot on.’’

Then Twilight found herself humming as she tapped on her chin to ponder to herself. ‘’Since this book was so good and Pinkie Pie is an excellent writer, then I suppose it wouldn’t hurt for having a spell to copy these for all Equestrians to read?’’

But then a thought struck her. ‘’Wait, no! Spike can’t read this! He has a crush on Rarity for Celestia’s sake and his feelings are as fragile as ever! Not to mention Trenderhoof’s crush on either Rarity or Applejack.’’

‘’Who are you talking to, Twilight?’’ came a familiar voice which made Twilight turn around to a shadow outside the opened door and getting nearer for it to trot in.

‘’Oh!’’ Twilight quickly adjusted herself, sliding the book under a pillow and hopping herself from the couch. ‘’No one, Starlight! Just reading a book.’’

Starlight came inside the living room and raised an eyebrow to see Twilight forcingly push a book underneath a pillow. ‘’But you’re not reading anymore? And why are you hiding that... from me? Am I not allowed to see it?’’

‘’No!’’ Twilight burst out but then cleared her voice. ‘’I- I mean...’’

Starlight didn’t buy it as she wasn’t easy to fool but a master to fool others. She trotted over and used her magic to levitate the book from under the pillow and started flipping through the pages and took a glimpse of the cover and blurb.

‘Crap!’ Twilight thought to herself. ‘I forgot she could use magic to do that.’ She let out a startled whimper as the lavender unicorn started nodding at her observation on the pages.

‘’This is actually good,’’ she commented. ‘’And it’s written by Pinkie Pie?’’

‘’W-Well, she does have good descriptive writing a-and nice choice for shipmates b-but I-’’

‘’True.’’ Starlight nodded meekly. ‘’But don’t show this to Spike because you know of his undying unrequited love of Rarity.’’

‘’I... was just talking about that.’’ Twilight smiled crookedly, her eyes twitching and ears flopping.

‘’Show me what?’’ came another voice from the halls of the castle, drawing nearer to the living room door.

Twilight squealed. ‘’I- uh... nothing, Spike!’’

A baby dragon walked into the room with an eyebrow raised confusingly.

Starlight quickly brought the book float behind her, having the dragon glance at her from left to right as Starlight kept moving the book to the other direction of where his eyes were following.

‘’Um...okay?’’ Spike scratched his head but shrugged and walked out of the living room, leaving two unicorns in the room dropping a sigh of relief.

A few moments later, another figure made its way into the room but it was to the unicorns’ displeasing surprise that Starlight had to dematerialize the book and place it in her bedroom alongside herself. The country figure glanced at the alicorn, confused, who put up a sheepish smile.

‘’W-What are you doing here?’’ Twilight questioned.

‘’I came to bring the apples that you wanted for an apple pie baking contest?’’

Twilight widened her eyes. ‘’Oh, shoot! That was merely an hour ago and I was so absorbed in reading that I completely forgot about it.’’

Applejack chuckled. ‘’Is that really a surprise?’’

Twilight deadpanned. ‘’Thanks, A.J.’’ She trotted solemnly out the door with the apple basket hovering in the air by her magic, but Applejack rubbed her neck sheepishly and interrupted her trotting.

‘’T-Twilight?’’ the southern pony called, getting the alicorn’s attention. ‘’I... actually have a question to ask. Or rather, questions.’’

The violet alicorn raised an eyebrow and turned around to face her friend. ‘’About what?’’

‘’W-Well, it’s goin’ to be Hearts and Hooves Day soon and I’m thinkin’ of askin’ somepony out.’’

Twilight’s eyes widened in shock. ‘’Wait. Really? Who’s that special somepony if you don’t mind me asking?’’

‘’R-Rarity?’’ the cowgirl shrieked which was very unlikely for her and more of a Fluttershy thing.

‘’...’’

‘’Twilight? Is everything okay?’’ Applejack questioned as she shook the frozen Princess Twilight Sparkle until she shook herself out of it.

‘’S-Sorry, but what was that?’’ Twilight asked again.

Applejack looked at her, confused. ‘’Rarity?’’

Twilight immediately fell to the ground, shivering to herself.

‘’Twilight?’’ The cowgirl quickly trotted up to her and kneeled herself down to her friend’s level.

‘’C-Called it,’’ Twilight hesitatingly stated as she continued shivering.

‘’Huh?’’ Applejack uttered in confusion but shook it off and left the basket of apples by the door and trotted out of the living room to trot through the hallways to exit out of the castle’s entrance.

But soon, Twilight got up from the ground and immediately teleported herself in front of the cowgirl.

‘’If you want some advice,’’ she started, ‘’go to Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, also known as the Princess of Love.’’

‘’Uh... thanks.’’ Applejack shifted her hat backward.

‘’But if you’re too lazy to travel all the way to the Crystal Empire just for that, then I wouldn’t mind writing her a letter.’’ Twilight shrugged, smiling softly at the cowgirl who gave a nod.

‘’Thanks again, Twi.’’ And with that, the cowgirl trotted away from her friend and the castle and went in the direction where Sweet Apple Acres led to.

Twilight sighed. ‘’It’s like Celestia read our minds.’’

Starlight unexpectedly was standing next to her and gave a nod of her own head.

Through the isle of tall trees and woodland creatures on the farm of Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack scrunched her nose to inhale the soft scent of sweet apples as she trotted by.

Later on, she reached the destination she was trotting to: her family’s barn. She slowly creaked open the door and entered herself in. Ascending her staircase to reach her bedroom, she opened the door and closed it behind her as she leaped herself on her comfortable, apple-printed bed.

But Applejack stood herself back up and looked at a picture frame that was sitting nearby on a nightstand, which had two figures; a white unicorn with a fancy purple mane having a hoof around an orange earth pony.

She smiled contentedly as she picked it up to examine it. This was a picture frame she had got from her unicorn friend in the picture when it was Sweet Apple Acres’ 1000th Anniversary.

The cowgirl laid herself back on her bed with the picture frame being hugged to herself and tightened by her grip. Her green emerald eyes slowly closed until they shot open again as realisation had finally struck her.

‘’W-What’s happenin’ to me?’’ she asked herself aloud. ‘’Since when have I ever-’’ she trailed off and covered her mouth before saying anything else. ‘Dear Sweet Granny, what happened to me?’

She stared around her room until a knock occurred on the door.

‘’Applejack? Are you in there? Can I come in, dear?’’ called the voice from out the door.

Applejack glanced at the picture frame and tucked it underneath her bed pillow. ‘’Yes, Granny,’’ the cowgirl allowed. ‘’You can come in now.’’ The door creaked open, revealing a wrinkled green earth pony holding a tray of apple fritters which urged the filly to lick her lips.

‘’Pooey!’’ Granny Smith exclaimed as she trotted in with the tray of scrumptious apple fritters. ‘’What have you done here, A.J? It smells like out-of-date apples!’’

‘’Can apples even get out-of-date?’’ Applejack questioned quizzically.

Granny Smith considered it. ‘’No,’’ she replied. ‘’But if they’re rotten then I guess you can call ‘em that... but anyway, seriously, what have you done here?’’

‘’I’ve done nothin’, Granny. I was outside deliverin’ apples to Princess Twilight.’’

The elder mare moved the curtains to the other side of the room to let sunlight absorb through the translucent displayed glass. She then picked up the tray from her back and placed it on her granddaughter’s nightstand as she took one from it to take a bite out of it.

Then she just stood there, staring intently at her eldest granddaughter.

‘’Aren’t you gonna go, Granny?’’ Applejack asked, confused.

Then a ‘’yelp’’ was heard from the young mare as the elder mare yanked her flank. ‘’Ya need ta learn manners, ya hear?’’ She looked at her crossly, seeing a nod from her granddaughter. ‘’Now, tell me. You haven’t been opened up to us lately so mind tellin’ me what’s goin’ on?’’

‘’What do you mean?’’ she asked, perplexed.

‘’Quit foolin’!’’ Granny Smith stated. ‘’The loss of appetite, goo-goo eyes. I’m started to see what’s goin’ on here.’’

Applejack sighed. ‘’Is it really that obvious?’’

‘’Don’t get me wrong, hun,’’ said the elder mare, ‘’yerr great at hidin’ away from yerr feelings but ya can’t fool this old mare.’’

‘’Yerr not that old, Granny.’’ The cowgirl smiled softly.

‘’I appreciate you bein’ nice, hun, but you and I both know that I haven’t looked the same since yerr parents had given birth to all three of ya.’’

Applejack took a bite from her apple fritter and gulped it down guiltily.

The elder mare sighed and took a seat next to her granddaughter. ‘’Yerr parents were inseparable and their love was, even more, stronger than Princess Cadence and Shinin’ Armour’s defeat at the Canterlot weddin’.

‘’Yeah...’’ the cowgirl nodded softly, having her grandmother pat on her back. ‘’B-But did you sometimes solve their love problems?’’

Granny Smith laughed. ‘’You’re a hoot! Now I don’t believe that there have ever been arguments between ‘em. Why you ask, A.J?’’

Applejack gulped. ‘’No reason.’’

Granny Smith stared at her fixedly, then she finally got it. ‘’Ya have a crush, don’t ya?’’

‘’What?’’ Applejack spat, having her eyes spread out.

‘’Uh-uh-uh!’’ Granny Smith taunted. ‘’What have I said about you can’t fool me?’’

Applejack swallowed the last apple fritter and nodded. Granny Smith raised an eyebrow and stared at the plate with no remaining apple fritters left.

‘’Wow,’’ she uttered, nudging her granddaughter. ‘’Ya really do have a strong appetite like yerr father.’’

Applejack was saddened a bit but blushed.

‘’Hmm. I’ve never quite seen you acting so girly before,’’ the elder mare observed. ‘’Mind tellin’ me who yerr in love with? Is it that Rainbow Dash fella?’’

Applejack spat the whole apple fritter, that she was chewing on, out of her mouth. She stared at her to see if she was joking but then groaned. ‘’For Celestia’s sake, Granny! Rainbow Dash is a girl!’’

‘’Alright...’’ Granny Smith smirked.

The younger mare rolled her eyes, then sighed. ‘’It’s Rarity. Yes, I know that’s unexpected because we always argue but...’’

Granny Smith laughed. ‘’And you think couples don’t?’’

‘’What?’’ Applejack muttered in a quiet tone. ‘’But you said my parents never-’’

The elder mare shrugged. ‘’They did argue, but they would always make up at the end of the day. Much like ya and Rarity.’’ She smirked, nudging her granddaughter in the side.

‘’Huh.’’ Applejack stared blankly in space as her grandmother continued looking at her with a grin. ‘’What should I do about it then, Granny?’’

‘’Now I’m not the Princess of Love to say this but,’’ Granny Smith started, ‘’you do what your heart tells you to do. Make the first move since you’re masculine than that Rarity fella.’’

‘’Do what my heart tells me to do?’’ Applejack repeated. ‘’What does that mean?’’

‘’It means to just go with the flow that your heart is intended to do.’’ Granny Smith tapped on the younger mare’s shoulder, then left the room, leaving her to ponder to herself.

Applejack then got off from her bed and trotted towards her desk table and pulled out a chair for herself to sit in. She grabbed a pencil and paper from a drawer that was underneath the desk table. Her eyes stared fixedly at the paper as she started scribbling down words on the piece of paper.

Dear Princess Cadence,

My name is Applejack - one of your sister-in-law’s friends and also a bearer of the elements of harmony. I’m sorry if I’m interrupting one of your royal duties but I’m having a love crisis and everyone told me to ~~speak~~ write to you as you are the Princess of Love.

I hope you can reply to this short letter back and hand me over some tips.

P.S. The pony I’m talking about is Rarity.

Applejack smacked her forehead with a hoof, regretting to write that last part but she shook it off instead and placed the letter inside her saddlebag, and descended her staircase to exit out of the barn. She walked through the isle of trees again until she exited out of the gates of Sweet Apple Acres.

She trotted through the streets of Ponyville with all the plants withering through the cold wind but slowly blossoming into a huge, beautiful flower, and the Celestial sun gleaming bright high in the sky which had distracted her vision so increased her speed to reach the post office in time.

Once she had reached there, she found a sign with the description as ‘closed’ which made the cowgirl frown. Luckily, she got an idea and turned around to resume her trotting.

This time she led herself to Twilight’s castle, and knocked on the door, revealing a unicorn in the way with a book out in front of her until she lowered it down to glance at both sides but spotted the cowgirl in front of her.

‘’Oh,’’ Starlight said. ‘’Hey there, Applejack. What can I do for you?’’

‘’Hi, Starlight.’’ Applejack peaked inside the castle. ‘’Is Spike around?’’

‘’Uh, yeah. He’s in the library dusting off the bookshelves,’’ Starlight answered. ‘’I swear Twilight pressures so much work on that poor guy and doesn’t do them herself, maybe ‘cause she’s a princess, but still be modest.’’ She rolled her eyes and resumed her trotting out of the castle.

The cowgirl looked at the trotting unicorn in confusion, then she looked forward and entered inside the castle. She trotted through the castle's corridor until she stopped at a halt as she found a door leading to a library. She opened it and entered herself in.

‘’No. A little to the left. No, that’s not right. Wait, no. Left, not right. Ugh!’’ Twilight groaned as she smacked herself on the forehead, leaving a mark as she had done that multiple times on this day. Then she turned around to look at her cowgirl friend entering in.

‘’Hi, Applejack.’’ Twilight trotted towards her solemnly. ‘’What can I do for you?’’

‘’What are you doing?’’ Applejack asked, glancing around at the place.

‘’Well-’’ Twilight trailed off as she got interrupted by Spike.

‘’Twilight wants to create a ‘welcome to Ponyville’ party for Princesses Celestia and Luna and she wanted to do it in the library since it is her favourite place, and Pinkie Pie couldn’t make it to decorate for us since she’s traveling around Equestria with her boyfriend Cheese Sandwich and you know how well she takes that for.’’

Applejack flattened her eyes, then blinked. ‘’Wow,’’ she uttered. ‘’I think you’re overdoing it, Twi. I mean the princesses are not all that sophisticated as we thought they were since we are practically their friends now.’’

‘’Yes, but Celestia told me how she’s been feeling sad lately and wants to talk it out so I invited her to Ponyville to have a break along with her sister,’’ Twilight explained as she darted her eyes back and forth.

‘’Uh-huh,’’ Applejack uttered. ‘’Well, you do you I suppose. And Spike? May you send this letter to Princess Cadence?’’ She got out a letter from her saddlebag that was on her back.

‘’Sure thing, A.J!’’ Spike flew himself down from the ladder he was standing on and took a deep breath to blow green flames on top of the letter to make it swiftly dematerialize out of the window.

‘’Gee, thanks, Spike.’’ Applejack shifted her hat back in place.

‘’No worries.’’ Spike shrugged it off. As the cowgirl was about to leave, he followed beside her. ‘’Uh, may I ask what was written in that letter and why you sent it to Princess Cadence, the Princess of Love?’’

Applejack stopped her trotting and froze. She would have answered and told the truth but since she is talking to the dragon who literally admires a pony she also admires, then she stood there with no words spoken out.

But Spike making a pleading face almost made the cowgirl burst out of cuteness.

Spike was confused as to why the cowgirl wasn’t answering his question until his cheeks puffed up with a scroll spitting out of his mouth. Applejack ducked herself, having the scroll swiftly come floating between her head and her jumped-off hat until it fell back on her head. She shifted it properly on her head and snatched the scroll from Spike’s hold to prevent him from reading it.

‘’What’s the big deal?’’ Spike questioned crossly.

‘’Nothin’.’’ The cowgirl had her eyes skim through the words on the parchment.

Dear Applejack,

I would be so grateful to have you learn some tips from me, and not going to lie but everyone would have already guessed it was Rarity you were crushing on...

Applejack looked up from the letter with a blush, having Spike stare at her in confusion, but then she resumed her reading.

...but I would be most honoured to share some advice with you. I am the Princess of Love after all so the ones who told you to go come to me did the right thing.

So, number one: always listen or watch carefully what your crush really likes to do.

We already know that Rarity likes to create clothes for her customers, but Twilight told me how you are not good at that so I advise you to give something else that she would like, like a type of jewelry.

Number two: when you’re talking with them, have eye contact with them so it wouldn’t be an awkward conversation and you’ll be confident enough to ask her out in the future. But you’ve already gone past through the friend stage and you’re trying to ask her out so just give it a shot and ask her.

I remember when Shining Armour felt nervous to ask me out. It’s normal to have butterflies in your stomach, it’s one of those symptoms of love.

Number three: don’t think they will return your affections?

You might be thinking this because you two would argue a lot but that’s a normal thing friends have to suffer through to fight for your friendship. This mostly happens in relationships, like take me and Shining for example. He sometimes forgets to change Flurry Heart’s diapers or close the toilet lid and I would get so frustrated but then at the end of the day, he shows me that he really can be useful for me.

That’s the thing. Real friends - or true couple goals in this case - will argue but at the end of the day, they try to fix their problems, or else if they don't then they will never know what’s bugging the other.

At the side of her eyes, she noticed that Spike was peaking through to read the letter as well. At first, she merely rolled her eyes but then a shiver went down her spine and quickly put the letter down.

She examined a disheartened look on the poor baby dragon’s face.

‘’S-Spike, I-’’ Applejack began.

A soft stifle sob came from the baby dragon until he burst the library doors open and ran out into the hallways of the castle. Then a violet alicorn trotted in, confused.

‘’What happened here, A.J?’’ Twilight asked as she tilted her head in confusion.

Applejack looked at her violet friend with a saddened look and got no words out of her, making Twilight even more worried and curious to know.

Applejack grumpily landed herself on her bed which now felt like a rock as she wasn’t in the mood right now.

‘’Great,’’ the cowgirl said. ‘’You fucked his emotions up, you varmint. Now, are you happy?’’

She stared fixedly at her pillow then used it to groan inside it and slammed her face repeatedly on it.

But then a lightbulb struck above her head, she hopped out of her bed and trotted back to her desk table and grabbed the pencil that she left on the table earlier and got out another piece of paper.

‘’But... Princess Cadence told me to do it face-to-face or else I’ll be seen as a coward.’’

Applejack tapped the pencil on her chin and landed her face on the table. But she brought it back up again.

She shrugged. ‘’I’ll do it anyway, I suppose, because what if I look like a fool if she rejects me? It’s better to do it by letter. And love letters are more often used during Hearts and Hooves Day.’’

She picked her pencil back and started writing on the blank, wordless piece of paper.

In all ~~my~~ our years for knowing each other, we would always constantly bicker.
Others would try to reconcile us, but we would make it even more of a fuss.
These past few days, I have been thinking of what to say,

Applejack slouched herself on the table one last time.

It was finally Hearts and Hooves Day and everyone was enjoying their lovely time bonding with their special someone. Ponies or no ponies. The wind swiftly went past them all.

Applejack observed from a familiar mint-coated unicorn exchanging gifts with a beige-coated earth pony to a red, muscular stallion sharing a kiss with his new fiancee that he proposed a year ago now.

The cowgirl sighed in despondent, realising that she, herself, still didn’t have a special somepony. Until she was grabbed from the back and pulled through the door to enter inside a boutique.

‘’What the-’’ Applejack started. ‘’Rarity?’’ She glanced at the unicorn looking at her with a soft smile on her face.

‘’Oh, Applejack!’’ Rarity pressed onto her to hug her. ‘’This perhaps may be the best thing that anypony could’ve ever done for me!’’

‘’What?’’ Applejack spat.

Rarity pulled away and looked at her with suspicion. ‘’You did send me that love letter, did you?’’

‘’I- uh...’’ the cowgirl stammered.

Rarity’s lips quivered. ‘’B-But the ending said it was from Applejack a-and-’’

The unicorn’s stuttering stopped as the cowgirl softly placed a hoof on her lips to prevent her to do so.

‘’Yes, I did.’’ Applejack stood confident, looking into her sapphire blue eyes.

‘’R-Really?!’’ Rarity’s eyes sparkled with intense satisfaction that refracted with the brightening sun from out the window absorbing through it.

Applejack nodded, stepping closer and pulling her waist closer towards her...

...this made Rarity’s heart stop a beat, yet she didn’t move away.

Applejack brought herself closer to land her soft, moist lips on the unicorn’s ones. Both of their eyes widened out of shock, not believing what they were doing to each other, but they liked it.

They slowly closed their eyes and peacefully dived into a deep and passionate kiss. Wrapping a hoof around the unicorn’s neck to drag her closer into bliss, the cowgirl didn’t feel any urges to push away. She felt that this was right. It was like they were destined to be together. There was a lightning strike orbiting around the two pairs which made their manes flow ever so slightly in the air.

Then a few seconds later, they slowly pushed each other away.

‘’Yes, Rarity. I like you.’’

From outside a window displayed on the boutique, a tall, pink alicorn was peaking through with a smirk as long as a violet alicorn beside her. They were smirking happily at the newly-made couple.

Cadence sighed flirtingly. ‘’We did a great job, Twily. The Rarijack ship no longer has holes in it.’’

Twilight nodded. ‘’Pinkie Pie would be even prouder. Although, do you know which ship we are forgetting still?’’

Cadence tilted her head in confusion. Twilight opened her mouth to speak.

‘’PinkieDash!’’

Cadence beamed in delightful agreement.
