It has been a year and seven months since the Created Uprising. The UNSC, though badly hindered by the destruction left behind by the Forerunner Guardians and the Domain-possessed AIs, has begun to rebuild at full speed. The UNSC Infinity, the recently-recovered UNSC Spirit of Fire, and the newly-completed UNSC Eternity now lead a UNSC Task Force to the far reaches of explored space.

A mysterious inbound signal, neither Human, Covenant, or even Forerunner in origin, has reached the Orion Arm of the Milky Way. The UNSC deploys the Task Force to investigate, alongside two Swords of Sanghelios cruisers, led by the Arbiter and the Half-Jaw. If there is another extraterrestrial species out there, that could aid Humanity and the Swords of Sanghelios...

It is the UNSC's stance that they become allies rather than foes. But upon arriving to the source of the signal, they discover a world unlike anything that has come before, populated with fantastical inhabitants that would rather use friendship and magic to defend their world.

However, a dire threat looms in the distance, as the UNSC reasons that if they heard the signal...could others have as well?
