Thoughts During An Invasion

Starlight woke up finding herself in cage, she tried to teleport out but her magic didn’t work.

This cage must be magic proof. Starlight thought bitterly.

Tempest then walked up to Starlight.

“Oh good, you’re awake, I thought I had finished you. And it would be a shame to let one of our new minions perish.” Tempest smirked.

“What do you want?” Starlight asked angrily.

“I’m here to make sure you didn’t escape.” Tempest laughed “There’s nothing wrong with that is there?”

“Ugh you won’t get away with this, Twilight will defeat you.” Starlight proclaimed confidently.

“Ah yes Princess Twilight, the one who fled from her kingdom. We’ve met.” Tempest said.

Starlight’s ears drooped at that,

Did Twilight really leave us?

She then shook her head.

No she’ll save us she always does.

“Now if you’ll excuse me I have a princess to catch.” Tempest laughed.

Tempest then left, leaving Starlight alone in her cage. She looked around Equestria and saw Trixie in a cage next to her looking as if she lost hope.

She saw it all, ponies were being forced to do the Storm Creatures bidding, some were trapped in cages. It was a horrible sight for her and she was helpless to do anything about it. And that made her feel depressed.

After a while she heard something a wagon was being pulled by two ponies and what she saw made her go cold, they got Twilight.

“No.” Starlight whispered “It can’t be.”

Starlight wanted do something so bad, break out of this cage and rescue Twilight but she couldn’t and that made her heart break.

Tears began pouring out, she felt it was hopeless now. Twilight was captured and she had no idea where the others were, Equestria was doomed and she was helpless in a cage.

Starlight tried her hardest to get out of the cage, she had to save Twilight no matter what.

Soon Starlight felt magic being sucked away from her, it was so painful, she even screamed a bit, the Storm Creatures laughed at her suffering, she glared at them but it did nothing.

Starlight she saw Storm Guards fighting something and when she squinted her eyes she saw it, it was Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Spike.

Starlight felt hope, now there’s a chance of saving Twilight and Equestria.

“You can do it guys.” Starlight whispered with a smile.
