Spike and Gears
1122 hours, October 10, 2010

Gears and Spike were on a cliff looking down at the COR firebase. Spike had an M4 with a suppressor and ACOG scope. Gears had a AW-F sniper rifle with a sound suppressor. Gears was looking through his scope and saw COR patrols all around the base. Spike saw three snipers on top of three separate buildings. “Hey Gears, what are those buildings?” Spike asked

Gears zoomed in his scope as he saw the building spike pointed at “one says communication, one said Security and the one at the far end is the command center.” Gears told him

“We’ll probably be able to get intel at the command center. Gears you take down the comms I deal with the security cameras, then we get into the command center and get any information on garble and his cronies,” Spike stated

Gears and Spike walked down the cliff. “Spike, that mare, do you think I made a good impression?” Gears asked

"Well, you were a complete dork when you first met and you smoking up the Safehouse definitely left an impression on her.” Spike said make gears recoil a bit.

Spike chuckled at his reaction “she thinks you're cute. Your might still have a chance,” spike said.

“Everyone constantly called me a freak. Eventually I just used the spell I used during filming. Everyone recognizes me now. I don’t like it but hey at least they don't call me a freak anymore.” Gears said, getting angry the more he thought about it.

Once they got to the bottom of the cliff. They went to their specific objectives. Gears stuck to the shadow and kept moving, only stopping when he saw a patrol walking by. Gears saw two changelings throwing papers in a fire. Gears looked at a letter with garble’s stamp on it. Gears switched to his AK-5 with a suppressor attached to it. He looked at the camera. it was aiming at the changeling. Gears shot out the camera and shot the two changelings. One went down with little issue. The other one grabbed his neck to stop the bleeding. He reached for his flare gun but before he could pull it from his holster, gears tacked him and pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the head. Gears got up and grabbed a piece of burned paper.

Spike shot two cameras out and approached the security building. He saw a patrol heading his way. Spike head behind a crate. The patrol comprised one pony, one griffon, and one dragon. The patrol was about to enter the building. Spike got behind the dragon soldier and grabbed him before the dragon could make a commotion Spike broke his neck and dragged him to the crate. Spike put on the uniform and walked but to the patrol

“вот ты топор, что тебя держит(there you are axe what kept you)” the stallion asked

“Я поссал” spike said the two looked at each other for then they opened the door to the security office. There were three changelings in the room and as the two COR soldiers glared at the changelings. Spike noticed this but decided not to comment on it.

“Ошибки выгуливают. пришло время посмотреть камеры.(bugs, take a walk. it is time to watch the cameras.)” the stallion said. The changeling left the room and went on their patrol. Spike went to the computer and looked at the camera’s. He saw four cameras that just had static on the screen. Two more went dead outside the comms building. Spike realized that Gears was taking down the cameras. Spike shut off the cameras and turned around he shot the two COR soldiers, putting them down. He looked around and spotted a ladder at the end of the room. Spike walked up to it and climbed up the ladder. The sniper on the roof noticed him. They switched to a SMG and tried to shoot him. Spike hit the sniper's foreleg, making him fire at the ground. Spike kicked the sniper off the roof.

“That was loud,” Spike said to himself. He grabbed the sniper inspecting, then out of nowhere a bullet hit the ground next to his leg. Spike took cover as he checked the rounds he had left in the sniper rifle. After seeing he had about eight bullets, he looked up and saw the other two snipers firing at him. He aimed and held his breath and fired. He hit the sniper on the command center. The last sniper from the comms building shot spike in the leg, making him fall to the ground. Spike crawled back into cover and pulled out his knife. With his dragon fire he heated up the knife till it glowed red. He then pressed it against his melting scales and closed the wound.

Gears
1301 hours, October, 10 ,2010

Gears was at the comms building. He had just finished taking down a patrol of changelings. He pulled his knife out of the changeling's neck as the body fell to the ground. Gears looked at the corpse and closed the changeling's eyes. “You fought with strength and bravery” Gears said as he did so

Gears approached the building when he heard an SMG go off in the distance he quickly opened the door to the comms building and entered he saw the first floor of the building had no one in it. He radioed Spike with his earpiece. “Spike, come in, Spike, do you copy.” gears asked

“I copy gears, what's the situation?” Spike said, gunshots going off in the background. Gears also hear it go off on the roof of the building he was in.

“You're taking fire from my target building?” gears asked

“Yes I am, you mind dealing with it.” Spike said over the comms

Gears pulled out his AK-5 and removed the suppressor. He walked up the stairs and saw four COR soldiers calling in for help, Gears shot one in the head and rushed the other. He punched the stallion then grabbed him to use as a shield. The last two COR soldiers shot at him but hit the stallion’s body killing him. Gears pulled a Makarov pistol from the stallion holster and shot the two COR soldiers one in the chest and the other in the head. After that was done gears pulled out a knife and stabbed the stallion in the chests. Gears ran to the comms table and lesion in

“Shit” gears cursed “Spike come in we got enemy hellos on approach”

“We better hurry, then I see a train off in the distance. We could use that as an escape if we made it in time.” spike stated,

Gears walked up the second fleet of stairs and saw SOR soldiers ready for him. They fired at him as gears ran to a pillar in the room. Once he was in cover. He prepared out and shot two dragons that were leveling their cover to get a better position. Gears saw four COR soldiers left. One popped up and shot his hoof, making gears drop his gun. His spell wavered and his hoof now had claws attached to them, with blood pouring down his leg. The COR soldier got out of cover and went towards the pillar, ready to put his prey down. What he saw was a claw swiping at his throat. Blood gushed out of the soldier’s neck. Gears' spell fell as he grabbed the soldier's AK-47 and charged out of cover.

“ALL RIGHT FUCKER LET'S SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO,” Gears yelled as he attacked. He shot a mare in the leg and tacked the griffon next to the mare. He bet the griffon's neck out as he pulled the Makarov pistol he took from the stallion and shot the mare next to him. Gunfire flowed by gears head. He saw two dragons firing at him. Gears put four rounds in one of the dragons, killing them instantly. Gears kicked the last dragon in the chest send him back. Gears aimed his Makarov and put a round through the dragon's eye. Gears looked at the carnage he made. Looking down, he saw his clothes were blood soaked. He fell back on his haunches and just started for a moment, then he heard a sniper go off above him.

“Spike needs my help,” Gears said as he got up and climbed up the ladder.

Gears got to the rooftop. Looking around, he saw an earth pony that was shooting at the security offices. Gears pushed the pony off the roof and pulled out his sniper. She saw a large group of COR tropes head to the security office. gears cast a single bounced spell on one of his clips of ammo. He looked at Spike's position and saw a metal poll where Spike was Gears fired at the poll as it bounced off the poll and redirected to one soldier. The soldiers fired at Spike's position in retaliation.

“Gears what the hell.” Spike said over the comms

“Can’t give my position away, you got grenades,” Gears said to him

1500 hours, October, 10 ,2010

“I see what you’re saying,” Spike said as he pulled a grenade out of his belt and tossed it at the group of soldiers. The grenade went off, killing eight of the COR soldiers, the gunfire lighting up slightly as the remaining sixteen were left. Gears started recatraying bullets off the poll next to him. Four COR soldiers were hit by the bullets. Spike looked around and saw a crossbow that had a rope attached to it. Spike reached for it but had bullets fly inches from his hands. He put his hand on his ear.

“Gears, I need covering fire or we're not gonna make that train.” Spike told him

“What about the intel?” Gears asked

“I’ll handle that you just give me cover” spike stated

The sniper fire hit the COR soldiers in direct hits. The soldiers divide their attention eght giveing their attention to gears with the remaining forces on spike. Spike grabbed the crossbow and aimed it at the command center. He saw a window and shot the arrow above the window connecting the two buildings together. He pulled out a smoke grenade and pulled the pin. He then tossed it at the soldiers as it went off he grabbed his M4 and ziplined down the rope. He kicked out the window and shot the first two soldiers then had his gun grabbed by a changeling COR soldier. They struggled a bit before Spike headbutted the changeling. He then proceeded to beat the changeling senseless only stopping when the blood cotted his gun. He looked at his gun in disguised as he walked to the letter on the table in the center of the room.

“Gears make your way towards the tracks and I got a letter you translate” Spike ordered over the comms

“Got it, I’m just about to lose my tails” Gears said

Spike took the note and anything else of interest and quickly made his way outside to the track. Spike waited for a bit for gears, the train was a few clicks away from his current location. Spike saw gears galloping at him. An enemy helicopter close behind.

“The fuck” spike said in surpried

The train was going behind him as gears tacked him onto it. Gears and spike looked back at the chopper who was following them. It was at that moment the train entered the tunnel gears and noticed a maintenance hache in the tunnel. Gears and spike jumped off the train and made their way to the hache

“Just like we're home free.” Gears quipped
