50 years have passed since Taz returned from the dead with his 2 beloved nieces, Celestia and Luna, and defeated the Original Jester by sacrificing himself. But, on his birthday, a day which is supposed to be happy and joyful, Taz wakes up to a nasty surprise, and he soon realizes that his joy was short-lived, as the Jesters are not dead. Taz must embark on a long journey, leaving his nieces behind, and with just the aid of a close friend to help him, he must find the Temple of Insanity to find a way to stop these insane ponies.
