The Equestrian Ecumene has stood for thousands of years; it is an unbreakable monument of harmony. It is frail. As darkness calls and the light fades a new evil rises. It is powerful, overwhelmingly so, and it is foreign to the Ecumene

The impossible expanse of space is lit by an endless host of stars, each one a monument to the beauty and overwhelming eternity of creation. But there are things that even the stars fear, and as terror sweeps across the void the light of the stars dims. The creatures of the Equestrian Ecumene now face a darkness untold.
