"Elecus.." The figure began to speak with deep echoing voice. "I have a proposal for you.." Then, Elecus began to speak back.. "Where am I.. didn't I... die..?" he said with a bit of confusion in his voice... "Also... who are you, and what do you mean by proposal..?" "A chance for you to go back to the living... A chance for your life continue..." The figure answered, "Who am I? You can call me a friend..." He chuckled a bit, finishing his sentence. As the figure said that, Elecus' eyes widened, "You can do that?" He said with stars in his eyes as he was staring at the figure in shock and amazement. "Yes... However..." He said with a slight change in tone.. "Things will be very different.... " Elecus didn't seem phased by that downside as he said to the mysterious figure, "Ok.... I accept.." He had no idea what the figure had meant by different, but he was willing to accept what was in store for him, as a enthusiastic smile lit up his face. Then the figure chuckled a bit, "Off to a new destination with you, Elecus. Somewhere in which you have never seen or heard of!" He said, as he began to glow brightly. After that.. Elecus blacked out... Soon after, what he was told... Elecus began to wake up, "Ugh... what happened to me.." He groaned a bit.. waking up in a comfy bed. "And... I feel.. very different.." "Well.. good mornin' looks like yer' finally comin' round," Elecus looked around as he saw someone peeking her head through the door "Uhh... hi..." He said to her, still a bit dazed. The pony walked into the room, "Well howdy, the name's Applejack, s' nice to meet ya" She said pretty enthusiastically in that southern accent, "I reckon i haven't seen yer face round' well... anywhere in Equestria." He seemed a bit stumped as to what she was talking about, "Well.. Umm, my name is Elecus," He introduced himself holding out his hoof but then looking at it in shock, "What the!?! I have.. hooves? What happened to me..?!" He seemed extremely confused. Then suddenly, it hit him, "So... this is what he meant by different." Elecus thought to himself. "Well," Applejack started to explain, "Ah found ya somewhere outside the farm here, ya seemed to be like shootin' star, crashin' down like that," Elecus got out of bed and stretched out his body a bit. "Hmm... yeah, well.. that's a little strange.." He said, walking over to a mirror, "Yeah.. I really have changed.. " He thought to himself, observing his new body. He had become a yellow pegasus, his with pretty funky looking spiky hair, "But meh, I can get used to it, but..." He thought of another thing that had changed, "What about where i am... I'm definitely not where i was before... what about Glacier... my love... I'm worried about her," He looked down a bit as he thought about her. Applejack walked over to Elecus, "Ya okay? Ya seem a bit depressed there buddy," She said with a little bit of concern. Elecus looked at her, "I'll be okay, I just have a lot on my mind, that's all," He said, "Applejack, thanks for the concern, can you tell me where I am right now?" "Well, right now yer at Sweet Apple Acres." She said proudly, "Here, we buck apples from them tree's out there, so here at Sweet Apple Acres we're proud to have such freshly grown apples," She continued enthusiastically, with a smile "Hm.. well.. that sounds pretty cool," He nodded with a smile as he said that, "You yourself seem like quite the hard worker, Applejack. As well as you seem proud to be as hard working as you are. I admire the spirit," He then chuckled a bit. "Why thank ya Elecus," She said with a smile on her face. "If there's anything ya ever need, I'd be happy to help," Elecus bowed his head gently in respect, as this was his normal tradition, "I'll be sure to let you know if I'll need anything," He said, feeling a lot less dazed then he did before, "Well, I think I'm gonna go look around a bit outside of this farm, thanks for the help Applejack," He said walking out of the house. Applejack waved goodbye to Elecus, "Well, hope ya have a great day, Elecus! Don't forget to stop by sometime!" She said, seeing him off on his way. Elecus began to walk off out of Sweet Apple Acres, and into the town connected to it, known as, Ponyville. Meanwhile, somewhere deep within the badlands of Equestria, laid a secret subterranean facility "Professor Teiden... how is she doing..?" Said the red and black colored alicorn known as Kurai. The gray and blue pony turned to Kurai, "She's just about ready... all of the memories have been implanted, her molecular structure is stable, and the final touches to the abilities have been made, thanks to you Kurai," Kurai, laughed a bit "Well done my boy," He said to the Professor, "The Neo Nightmare Project, is finally complete. Lets wake her up, what do you say Professor?" The Professor stayed silent for a few seconds as he looked toward Kurai and nodded, "It's time for a wake up call I think" He said as he then reached over and pulled a lever. "Welcome to the world.." Teiden said as it awakened. To Be Continued //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: New To Ponyville //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: New To Ponyville Chapter 2: New To Ponyville Elecus walked through the gates of the farm and made his way into the connecting town, Ponyville. He looked around as he saw before his eyes, many different ponies traversing the town's streets. "Well.. this is a town I assume.." He chuckled to himself, "Well.. I guess I should start looking around, seeing as I've never actually been here before," Elecus began to think to himself, where a good place to start would be, as he began to walk further into Ponyville. As he walked around, looking at all of the ponies that passed by him. In his mind, he thought "Wow.. there are a good amount of civilians walking around, I wonder if any of them have exciting stories to tell." He looked down as he thought about Glacier, wondering if she was okay. "Glacier.." He thought to himself again. "I wish I could show her I'm okay.." He let out a small sigh, not paying any attention to what was in front of him, more focused on all of these deep thoughts. Then, he was knocked out of his deep forest of thoughts, as he collided with another pony. As Elecus snapped out of his deep thinking, he noticed that he had had collided with a pink pony, she looked like she was quite happy-go-lucky, her mane looking a bit ruffled up. "Um... I'm sorry, are you okay?" Elecus said, feeling a bit stupid for letting himself get lost in thought while walking, "I.. Uh... wasn't watching where I was going," The pony looked at Elecus, who had knocked her on her bottom, and as she looked at him, about three seconds of silence grew between the two, as she hopped up with a surprised gasp, then ran off as fast as possible. As Elecus then tilted his head in confusion. "Well.. uh.. I don't know what that was about," He got up, back onto his hooves and looked around a bit, "Well, maybe I should.." He shuddered at the thought of what he was about to say, "Go to the... ugh... Library..." He only knew this town had a library because he was looking right at it as he got up. He walked to the library's doorstep and poked his head inside the door, looking around a bit. "Hmm... Hello..?" He walked inside, as he noticed the place was almost empty it seemed. "Just like most library's I know.." He said with a slight chuckle. "Hello!!?" He shouted a bit. "Is someone here?!" No one responded, proving that the place was empty at the moment. "Huh, no one seems to be here, I supposed I'll come back later,", He said turning towards the exit, but as soon as he reached the door, a pony walked in. Elecus clumsily collided with her, which knocked them both on their behinds. "Ah!" She said after running into Elecus, seeming sort of surprised, Elecus sort of having the same reaction as her, "You scared me there," She said to Elecus. "Y..Yeah.. same with you," He said, seeming sort of in a daze, "Sorry, I wasn't watching where i was going," He shook his head, snapping out of his dazed state. "Sorry for intruding, I just thought I'd find some info about where I am here" "Oh, you must be... Elecus, right?" She asked him, "Am I right..? Applejack told me about a new pony wandering around, and well, I've never seen you before." she tilted his head a bit, having a slight smile on her face. Elecus smiled a bit in a friendly sort of way, "Yup, that's me, Elecus, at your service." He said with a slight chuckle, seeming a little more friendly, "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss..?" He said in a way that was asking for her name. "Twilight Sparkle," She said introducing herself to him, "It's nice to meet you too, Elecus, and I'd be happy to share some information about where we are." She said to him happily. "Follow me, Elecus," She said, walking to a bookshelf, pulling out a certain book from the shelf. Elecus followed her, seeming a bit curious as to what she was about to tell him, "Okay.. Thanks" He looked at the book, tilting his head. "What's that book for?" He asked curiously. Twilight opened the book to a page with a map, "Well, let me show you.." She said to him, moving aside as to let him look at the map. Elecus went over and looked in the book, "Hmm... Equestria..?" He said, reading the name above the map, "That's what this world is called eh..? So... I am somewhere different..." He looked down, with a sigh. Twilight looked at him, a bit concerned, "Are you okay...? You seem a bit lost.. do you want to talk about it?" She asked him. "Nah.. it'll be okay, thanks for the concern Twilight," He said, sounding a little more cheerful now. "Well, so I'm a pony it seems... I don't seem to know much about this new body.." He said. "Well, there are actually 3 different varieties of ponies, there are Earth ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasuses." She said to him, seeming quite knowledgeable, "Well, you look like you're a Pegasus, Elecus... well.. unless those wings are an illusion" She giggled saying that. Elecus' eyes widened, "Wings?!!? Does that mean, I can... fly?" A bright smile grew on his face as as he spoke, "That's so... awesome!!!!" Elecus sounded extremely cheerful. Twilight giggled again, "Elecus, you remind me of a student I had," She began to speak of a recent memory, "She had a sort of willing to learn attitude. I taught her everything I know, and she got a pretty big reputation. That can happen when you use magic the right way sometimes," Elecus looked at Twilight, "Well.. Where is she now?" He asked curiously. Twilight looked at the map and pointed her hoof to a area named Canterlot "She's currently living there, Canterlot," She said,"I'm so proud of her, for her accomplishments, and I hope she's happy," A smile gently lit up Twilight's face as she said that. Elecus bowed his head to her "Well, Twilight, thanks for the info, I appreciate it" He said with gratitude. "Elecus, if you need a place to stay you can stay here at the library for a while, until you find a place of your own," She offered to him. "Sure, if it wouldn't be that much trouble I'll happily take you up on that offer, Twilight" He said smiling, "Thanks!" He began to walk out the door, "I'll be back later Twilight, okay?" "Okay Elecus, it'll be no trouble at all," She nodded, "See you later tonight!" As Elecus walked out the door, smirking a little, "So.. I'm a Pegasus eh..?" he said to himself, "Well, I hope this flying thing doesn't take a lot of getting used to," He hopped into the air and let his wings spread, as they gently fluttered in the breeze, as he was floating a few feet above the ground, "Oh, my, god.... this is quite the sensation," He chuckled to himself, "I guess the air is my new sprinting space, and i think I have the hang of this, too. He began to gain altitude, "Okay then, time to go on a little sky sprinting montage",he said as he took off like a bullet, looking sort of like a yellow blur as he dashed across the sky. But soon, Elecus collided with another Pegasus, a blue one with a rainbow main and tail, "Gah!" He said as he collided with the Pegasus, knocking them both out of the sky and onto the ground. He landed face first in the dirt, "Ugh, what the hell!" He said, sounding a bit agitated, "How many more times is something gonna run into me today, seriously!!" His face showed that he was pretty annoyed. The other pony he collided with, walked over to him, "Hey! What's the big idea!" She looked at him, "Haven't you ever been flying before," "Um.... No, not really" He said, looking a little dazed from the crash, "I really haven't done this before, although I do seem to be pretty good at it," "Well, don't go so slow then! You'll never catch up with me at that speed," She said, "I'm the fastest flyer in Equestria, Rainbow Dash, who are you?" After hearing her brag a bit, his head shot up "Oh really," He said "Maybe if you weren't flying at, oh I don't know, 5 miles per hour, I wouldn't have run into you!" He smirked having said that. "I'm Elecus, new but awesome, don't doubt me lady! I'd own you in 3 seconds flat" "Oh yeah?!" She said in response "Yeah!!" Elecus said, sounding very competitive, "I'd totally speed right past you if I wasn't so tired," The sun was beginning to set as he said that, the sky now colored a little bit orange, as the light of the sun began to dim down slowly. "Hmph, Elecus, we'll just see which one of us is better." She said competitively, "But right now, it's getting a little late, so you're off the hook, but we'll see what you can do soon enough." She flew off having said that. Elecus hopped to the sky and flew back into town, forgetting about the competitive words said to him by Rainbow Dash. He began to get lost in thought again about the girl he loved and what had become of her, but soon snapped out of it with a rather loud yawn. He landed in front of the library, "Man.. this is gonna take some gettin' used to.." He thought to himself, opening the door. Everything was dark inside, "Well.. I have a feeling somethings gonna happen when I walk in... good or bad... I'll have to see!" He thought to himself walking into the darkened room, a smirk forming on his face. Elecus' prediction was right on the mark, as when he entered and closed the door behind him, the lights flashed on revealing a party with almost every pony in Ponyville present, as they all yelled "SURPRISE!!!" when he entered. Elecus let off a grin feeling a bit warmly welcomed by everypony, as he said "This may not be so bad.." to himself quietly. Meanwhile.. back the badlands base.. "Teiden, I'm gonna be leaving now, watch the base while I'm gone.." Kurai said to the professor, beginning to pack up some data logs as well as a communicator, "While I'm gone.. keep status updates with our new addition regularly, understand?" The professor nodded at Kurai, staying silent. "Well.. somepony is quiet.. is it because you're remembering the ones who, ahem, 'Cared' about you?" Kurai said to Teiden, who was staying silent not saying a word. "Teiden, you know what happened, nobody will ever forgive you..." Kurai continued to say, "Not even your belov-" "SHUT UP!!" Teiden snapped at Kurai, interrupting him. "I know..." He looked down going back to being silent. "Hmph.. well.. get it done then kid," Kurai said to him, "I'll be back in about 2 weeks, I'll call you if I have anything more I need to tell you, I wish you nothing but luck and success" Kurai walked out of the area having said that. Teiden looked down.. "I'm sorry... for what I did before.." He said.. as he went to his computer and began to work once more. In this prologue, it tells what happened to Elecus before he made it to Equestria. Meaning that this chapter is only telling about Elecus's backstory. If you don't care about the backstory, and how he got there, feel free to skip this completely. "Keep moving! We can still get out of here alive!" He shouted to his love as they were fleeing through the burning forest.   The female Glaceon was fleeing alongside her love, "E...Elecus..?" Her voice sounded very weak as she spoke "I... I can't go on.." She suddenly fell over, looking very frail. "Glacier!" He shouted, as he ran to her as fast as he could She seemed to be extremely weak from the hot and dry air, as she let said weakly, "Go on... without me.. Elecus... I can't go any further... in this heat..." She coughed then groaned slightly, looking away from Elecus. Elecus looked at her as he gently licked her cheek, "No! I won't leave you behind Glacier, I love you!" He then nudged her onto his back as he began to run towards the a hole in the flames. "Don't worry Glace, we'll be out soon enough," He said, as suddenly a wall of flame burst up in front of him. "Crap!" He shouted. As suddenly, a burning tree nearby began to tilt towards the two slightly, looking as if to collapse at any moment. He then began to think quickly, as he said, "So long, Glacier.. my love," as he tossed her over the wall of flame out of the burning forest. Then, the flame engulfed tree crumbled directly on top of Elecus and he didn't even make a sound. Glacier suddenly realized what he had done and sprung up shouting, "Elecus?! Elecus!?!?!" She shouted frantically looking around fast, "Elecus!?! Where are you!?" Elecus.. didn't make a sound, as Glace's eyes watered up from what had just happened. "No..." she said with a broken tone..  as rain began to fall from above... dousing the flames... rain could not put out the sadness within Glacier's heart... 1 year has passed since this incident..
