The first thing Servus saw upon waking up was the sight of iron bars. Each column of metal was inches apart of each other, obstructing his view. At the bottom right corner the bars were badly damaged, leaving a hole just in enough to fit a hoof.
"W-where am I ?"
Servus felt cold and wet. Focusing past the bars, Servus saw few trees sparse around the landscape, The grass was dark green. The sky was cloudy, removing her burden of water. It was raining but lightly, it was hitting in a slant, even though he could feel no wind, the angle of the rain made it possible for the droplets of water to come through which resulted in him being wet.
The fact of being wet and cold did not bother him one bit. Thoughts of what transpired before he was knocked unconscious played in his head. He recalled the guards protesting and that cold mare that outwitted him. His mind raced. He had to get out of here.
Servus tried to push the bars in front of him. They were rusty after all. But looks were deceiving, hitting or pushing yielded no results.
"There's got to be another way," muttered Servus, gazing at the small hole. No that would not work. It seemed it was created for a purpose. Servus continued to struggle until he heard a voice. Voices, to be specific. Servus immediately became motionless, his heart beating faster. Are these my Equestrian captors ? Rescuers ? Perhaps the Furore cohort manage to defeat the Equestrian forces and are coming to save him !
His hopes were dashed when a very familiar voice started to speak. Long Shot. Dammit.
"Okay, I know it is strange. I never seen a Pegasus royal or even a noble but this bracelet and those two guards we encountered proves he is some high Orbemian official or even part of the royal family. "
Servus looked at his hoof. She had taken his bracelet ! Another voice started to speak, it was soft but it seemed to have sort of lively in it.
"I see your point Long Shot besides that blatant racist remark about Pegasus but I need more proof than that. The princess sent me here to confirm it."
Servus heard a chuckle. "I never knew you would be so easy to offend Gentle Rose."
"Hmmph !"
"Awww come on Rose. It is true ! Have you ever seen a Pegasus noble ? "
"I am !"
"No you not ! You just a messenger."
"Celestia's personal messenger !"
"I can still hear messenger..."
"Enough of this !" Servus could hear a bit of irritation in this Rose voice.
"Okay , I'm sorry Rose I never meant to make fun of you or your race."
Servus was shocked. He did know Long Shot but for the amount time he did, he concluded that she was a cold and cruel mare of war like her Equestrian brothers and sister and with that cold twisted smile of her's but here she was talking to a comrade of her's like she was everybody's friend. He always thought of the Equestrians of being coarse and brutish and most all barbarians who did not know what honour or dignity was.
Rose giggled. " I'm just pulling your hoof Long Shot."
Servus heard Long shot grumble. "How do you get me every time, I don't know. But are you satisfied now ? I'm sure the bracelet is proof enough for the princess ?"
"Hmmm... it is but I am going to have to interrogate the captive. Alone."
Servus shivered at the word 'interrogate'. The mare said it with such enthusiasm it sent a chill down his spine.
"Not so fast Rose ." Saved. "I know what you going to do. I'm going to have to be there, to make sure you interrogate him and not cuddle him."
Servus felt his cheeks heating up. What !?
"Aww... but he is so cute !"
Servus ear twitched. Their were walking towards him.
"Arg, just interrogate him Rose and we can be on our way."
Servus felt their presence. He hoped he fooled them to think he was sleeping. He curled himself into a ball, ducking his face. He was a bad actor and his expression of his face would give him away.
"I just want to cuddle him !" Geeze this mare got issues. I am not cute !
"So are you going to interrogate him or you just using this as an excuse to look at him."
"Say's the one who was staring at him for an unknown period of time before I got here."
"I-I-I was making sure he did not try to escape." Long Shot ! not you too ?
He could hear Rose giggle. It sounded really close. Servus peeked through his wing. They were right in front of him ! Literary the bars were separating them. These mares are crazy ! They were sitting down, their hooves tucked underneath them. Their faces were at each other, talking and bickering giving Servus the chance to take a glance at them. On the right was Long Shot donned in full armour, it seemed she was ready to go on the battlefield. On the left was this mare, Rose. She was a Pegasus, her coat was pinkish white or a very light pink, it was hard to describe. Her mane was long with a braid to one side. It was an unusual colour. It was grey, like old pony hair but what stood out was her eyes. They were ruby red.
Servus quickly closed his eyes. Peeking was over unless he wanted to get caught. He heard them waking up. It would seem their conversation they had was over.
"Oh ! I cannot wait for the wedding ! , gushed Rose. "It is shame he cannot be mines" . What is she talking about ?. Even Long Shot was confused.
'' I think you should check yourself, Rose, you might have a screw loose something "
Long shot and Rose said their goodbyes and parted ways. Servus managed to overhear the soldiers talking that Long shot was going back to Orbemia, apparently the siege was still going on . Imagine if the Furore cohort did not make it in time. Orbemia would have been defeated. Servus shuddered at that thought. No, Orbemia would survive, all he had to do was try and escape this wretched cage.
For the whole afternoon, Servus tried and tried. But the cage would not budge. He even grew careless not bothering that the soldiers knew he was trying to escape. They did not care either merely smirking if their passed by.
The sun came down, the moon rising in its place. The camp was immediately flooded with campfires courtesy of the unicorn mages. The soldiers were surrounding the campfires, joking and talking and eating. It would seemed this cohort or squad as Equestrians would put it were going back home, including Servus as the trophy.
Servus stomach rumbled. He was hungry. The day he was kidnapped, he skipped breakfast at the palace, Dad really wanted those flowers. Servus picked up his head. He could smell the food wafting into his nose, from the campfire. Was that S mores ?
"Here you go !" Servus was so engrossed that he did not realised the guard that approached him with a plate of food. He yelped, standing up only to hit the top of his prison. The guard chuckled.
"Ye sure are jumpy fella fer a Orbemian."
Servus looked at the guard. He could not see how he looked. The darkness and his armour obscuring his appearance. Servus looked at his hoof he had food, a sandwich.
"Yer can take it, I'm sure ya hungry." Servus looked at him. Is it a trap ? He sounded sincere... too sincere. Servus stared at the sandwich. There was dirt in it. Mud to be exact. Nice try Equestrian.
"Thank you kind sir." Servus had no choice but to take the sandwich from him. If he did not, then the pony would realise he was on to him. The soldier waited, looking at Servus, waiting for him to eat the sandwich. Servus did not. He placed it down on the floor by his side.
The soldiers eyes told him that he was getting impatient. "Why yer not eating it ?" His voice a bit strained. He was still smiling but now it looked more like somepony put pegs on the sides of his mouth.
"I'm saving it for later." Servus tried his best to look innocent, his eyes darting elsewhere, other then the soldier.
The soldiers smile dropped, forming into a smirk. "Yer smart fer an Orbemian scum. Just so you kn'w that's yeh breakfast fer tomorrow, so don't finish everything tonight, leave some fer tomorrow and the day after that .Oh and ah almost forgot..."
The soldier turned around , picking some thing from the ground. A bowl of water. Before he pushed it through the small hall in his cell, he spat in it.
"Hope yer enjoy ya meal, devil worshipper," the guard sneered." Yer do not even deserve to get a meal fer what ya kind had done but we not monsters like yer, we actually have a heart" And with that the soldier left, going towards the campfire, no doubt to enjoy his nice cooked meal.
Servus was expressionless the hold time the soldier spoke. Taking in all the information in. Is that what Equestrians really thought of them? Devil worshippers? Servus shivered, as the rain started. Once again the rain was coming in a slant causing the water droplets to hit him perfectly. The roof of his cell did nothing to shelter him. All the soldiers were going back in their tents. He was left outside with the other boxes of equipment. They call this having a heart ? Orbemia never wanted this war, they were always on the defence, defending their borders from the Equestrians. Throughout the so called war not once did Orbemia attacked Equestria. All because they believed in the true Princess. Princess Luna at one stage control the sun and the moon, adored by every pony until she arrived. The so called Princess Celestia. He never saw her, the Equestrians claimed that she is an Alicorn, that saved them from the tragically 'Nightmare moon', a disgusting name used for the princess of the moon. What was more shocking to learn was that they believed that their 'Alicorn princess' moved the sun and the moon. No doubt shes tricking these poor fools. He asked his father once about her, to describe her. He had nothing to describe or explained. He said that whenever a summit came up or 'peace' meeting arises, the Equestrian princess was always behind a veil and if she wanted to say something she would simply tell her adviser to do so.
Servus peeked through his cage as he saw the moon shining it's silvery light, the storm cleared. He closed his eyes as he said his prayers to the moon. It was an Orbemian tradition and custom to do every night. To bow before the moon and chant the ancient prayers. After the prayers, you then ask for what you want. It is said that Princess Luna, even though she disappeared after her defeat, could hear your prayers if you were sincere enough.
Servus pored his heart to his prayer. His tears flowing freely.
"O princess of the moon, I miss my parents, my home. I-I-I'm scared. I have no idea what they going to do with me.... give me strength and guide me through this ordeal..."
For over five minutes of pure sincerity, Servus felt safe. The Princess of the night will protect him.

Guys...I have no idea what I just did.
Amour De Ma Vie
Servus whimpered as he was thrown into the room. He hit the floor with a loud thump, pain registering but unable to scream because of the strap wrapped around his muzzle . Curling tighter into a ball, his tears falling on to the white marble floor, longing for his home...his family.
He never felt so worthless before, He never felt pain like this before. From the time he was in the cage till he was brought to Canterlot, the capital of equestria, he was ridiculed, starved, insulted and abused by the Equestrian soldiers. Thankfully they stopped when he was reduced to a mutt in a very small cage. His coat and mane was shaggy and dirty, it did not help to conceal his rib-cage that was now more visible. Servus realised that they would not interfere with him as long as he knew his place. In so much of pain and suffering, Servus did not mind. He was a savage right ? An Orbemian scum and as the Equestrian soldiers reminded him. A lesser pony. A sub species.
After that they started to ignore him and actually gave him his once a day meal even though they still spat in his water. But the status quo changed once again on the last day off the journey...
The view of Canterlot was coming into view, high at the peak of a mountain, it was more impressive than the Orbemian palace.
"That's not even the palace scum," remarked a soldier , who spotted Servus gaze of amazement. "That's just the city."
Servus had no choice but to nod. The princess of night only knows what they would have done to him should he had done the latter.
According to what he overheard, they were staying here for the night and will only reach the gates of Canterlot by tomorrow around midday. As night settled, the soldiers celebrated and ate, happy that they were finally home, Servus ate his muddy flowers given to him and like every night on this painful journey did his prayer... only to be caught doing it.
"By Celestias sun ! He's doing witchcraft !," cried the Soldier, dropping the bowl of water, that was meant for Servus. The whole camp became silent as the many pair of eyes looked at the small cage.
Servus sobbing increased against the white marble floor as he recalled what they did to him after they caught him . They whipped him until he admitted he prayed to the devil. He never did. They strapped his muzzle, so know one could hear his screams of agony and the worst of all... the eyes of hatred of the ponys as he was publicly dragged across Canterlot. Do you know the feeling of being hated by every pony around ? Ponies that don't know you but seem to know you ?
Servus shook his head, ignoring the pain. No ! He will not give in. Servus brought his front hooves onto to his muzzle, they were sore and stinging from all the dragging on the streets but what won't kill will make you stronger. He groaned in agony as he finally took of the strap, breathing heavily, gulping the extra oxygen. Slowly he dragged his body to what appeared to be an abnormally large circular bed. It was ice white and had gold trimmings . It was in the middle of room with a fire place in front of it, A balcony on the right and behind the bed was a large panel of a mirror and underneath it was a row of elaborate and fancy cupboards which also matched the bed. Close to the set of doors that the guards threw him in was another door. After analysing the room he decided that the unknown door was a bathroom which means he was in someponys bedroom. Servus felt drowsy as soon as he touch the bed. It was so soft, like a cloud. Must be somepony important. Servus looked at the balcony. He could escape from here but he doubt it that he will go far before they catch him again. Overwhelmed by the pain and his exhausted body he curled into a ball on the bed, falling asleep for the first time in a week.
Servus opened his eyes he awoke from his sleep only to see a pair of magenta eyes staring at him. It was dark inside the room signalling it was nighttime. The pair of eyes had a sort of glint to them like little pink stars. Servus flinched as the room lit up as the torches around the room light up. Servus stared at the pony in front of him. Her coat was ice white matching the bed, her mane floated in the invisible wind made up of the different colours of the rainbow and her wings were huge and her horn...
Servus turned pale. An alicorn. They were not lying. Does that mean...Servus mentally scolded himself. Don't think such sacrilege !
Feeling sudden movement Servus tried to wake up only to be held back by magic. The Alicorn slowly came on the bed, not removing her gaze of Servus. She tuck her legs underneath her, her muzzle an inch away from his. Her breath smelt like strawberry s.
"Are you the Prince of Orbemia ?," said the Alicorn. Her voice was regal but emotionless. She looked beautiful like a goddess but had a dangerous aruar around her.
Servus mustered courage as he answered, surprised by the odd question. "Y-Y-Yes Princess."
Servus felt her magic as she was unwrapping something on him. Bandages.
"When I came into my room I saw you sleeping in my bed. You were badly injured and...smelly so I sent you the medical wing and my hairdresser to neaten you."
"T-Thank you your highness but..." Servus yelped as the princess levitated Servus by her side as she sat on her side, wrapping her hooves around his barrel.
Servus tried to get out of her grip only for her to tighten her hold on him. He felt her breath by his ear.
"It's pointless struggling," she said, as she began nibbling his ear. Servus felt ashamed as he felt the pleasure. This was wrong ! He was stronger than this. Servus struggled more furiously but to no avail until he bit her foreleg, quickly coming out of her grip and onto the floor.
Servus looked at the Princesses foreleg, it was bleeding. Servus ears folded.
"Princess I never mea-"
"I showed you mercy..." . Her voice was soft but with a sharp edge." I gave you medical attention... ". Servus felt her magic as it levitated him onto the bed, pinning him down on his back."...and I gave you affection but you rejected it..."
Servus looked in horror as the princesses teeth became sharper, her mane turning lava red , her eyes turning reptilian and her regalia appearing on her body.
"...and you bite me to show me gratitude !?"
The princess was on top of him her muzzle close to his ear. "Is that how you treat your wife ?"
Servus was stunned.Wife ?."N-N-No...that's not..."
THWACK!
Servus felt the blow as the princess slapped with her hoof, his cheek turning red from the burn.
"Speak when you spoken to !," said the Princess, her fangs showing. "I am Princess Celestia ! Ruler of the day and night !"
Celestia nuzzled his neck. "And you my husband. Suppose to do whatever I say. You are mine. I control you. I own you. You are my slave ..."
Servus tried to scream but was muffled by magic as Celestia licked his neck."...And slaves need to be punished if they do wrong. An eye for an eye. Seems fair..Don't you think ?"
Servus cried as her fangs buried in his neck. He tried to struggle only for Celestia to bite even harder. The pain was too much.
"You monster..." .Servus croaked as his conscious faded away.
Princess Celestia managed to turn back to her normal self after he went unconscious. She looked at his unconscious body, his neck bleeding intensively. Her heart twisting at those words. You monster.... She shook her head to get those thoughts out. No. He should have not made her angry. Why should an Orbemian scum make her feel bad. He is just the bargaining chip, the object for peace between Equestria and the rebels. But still...Celestia turned away her face away from his body. "I never did anything like this before. So cruel...why ?. He looks so young. Have I become truly a monster ?"
Celsetia healed and closed his wounds, healing his coat to prevent scars and magically cleaning the bed of all the blood, including the rest on her muzzle. She looked at her mirror to make sure she was not Dawn breaker. She normally had control over her battle form but tonight is the first for her to almost lose control.
Celestia looked at the Orbemian as she placed her wing over him. She had the plan set. they could restart there whole encounter. All she had to do was change the story in the morning to make it seem he had a bad dream.
The princess eyes eventually started to close missing the muttering of the Orbemian.
Nil desperandum Lunae duce at auspice Lunae Servus Lunae. (No need to despair Servus, for the princess of the night leads you and protects you.)
Prologue : A Brief History Lesson
Author's Note
Hope you all like this story. Just note that not everything is accurate here, so don't dislike it or remind me in the comments. Also note that I love Luna and Celestia equally so don't get any funny ideas. Comment also so it does not feel like I'm writing a story for Casper and his friends...please ? *Starts groveling and sobbing on the floor*
Prologue : A Brief History Lesson
Okay. You all know how the story goes. There were two sisters. One controlled the sun and the other controlled the moon. Then one sister got jealous and blah blah blabbity blah... banished to the moon.
Now you might be thinking who the heck this dude think he is ? Does he know that he is making fun of one of the most important turning point in Equestrian history ?
To answer the second question: Yes, I am well aware. As for the first question, I will leave it blank. I may not be the brightest star in the sky but I'm no idiot. The last thing I want is a bunch of angry Bronies knocking on my front door...with shotguns.
With that out of the way let me explain what I meant in the beginning and it's quite simple : Its the only story they ever sing, they keep on repeating it and that's that. No explanations, no commentary on it and not even a book and don't you dare say anything about the book Twilight read in the beginning. I mean most ponies were not even aware that Celestia had a sister until Twilight and the gang arrived and defeated Nightmare moon. Heck the story was considered a foals tale. Okay we do end up finding out why the gorgeous Princess Luna ended up into a gorgeous nightmare but that was because Twilight relived the events when she drank that magical bottle of whisky (Or was it milk ?) that Zecora happily gave when the mane 6 were in a tough spot. By the way, is it even legal to be in possession of magical milk/whisky that takes you to another place ? That sounds like drugs to me. But hay, who cares .
Okay back to the point, I think I'm straying from the whole point of this chapter/Prologue thingy but I sure you getting the idea. They never tell us what happens after. Did Celestia cry ? What happened to the state of Equestria ? Did the ponies rejoice ?
I think the last one is a bit stretched but I digress, whatever the hell that means. But fear not my good ponies for I know what happened. Prepare yourself for a little history lesson !
"In the aftermath of the banishment of Princess Luna, Equestria began fighting with itself. Rivers ran red, blood was shed. Sons fighting Fathers, Mothers fighting their own daughters. On one side was the ponies who backed Celestia and the other, ponies who backed the then banished Princess Luna. Equestria became divided. Their were two areas that broke off.One calling themselves Saddle Arabia, the other was called Orbemia. Saddle Arabia eventually surrendered after only ten years since it was formed after Princess Celestia caused a damaging heat wave that permanently destroyed the areas soil, turning it to a desert. Saddle Arabia would only get its dependence thirty years later. Orbemia on the other hoof was lucky. It was situated near the cold north which meant Celestia could not threaten nor pull the same stunt as she did with Saddle Arabia. The two options left she could do was diplomacy or war. Being in the state of grief, anger and the bloodshed around her. She chose the latter and so the two hundred year war began...
Whoa. That was a lot to take in, right ? Some of you might be wondering where I got this. And here is my answer: From a book of course ! ( great I sound like a hypocrite ) and no, not from Twilight. I actually found it in a ancient Solar temple. Okay let me just be frank with all of you. This recount is actually a bit biased, its written by a follower of Princess Celestia. In all honesty (I even got AJ with me here) Princess Celestia was a totally different pony back then, Yeah she was always a good ruler but at that time she was harsh, cold and cruel. The sort of thing that happens to you when your beloved sister and the only family you have left becomes evil and betrays you and you have to to banish her to the moon, not even sure if she is alive or dead. Then how did she change ? She's fine now so what happened ?
That's the whole point of this story. You all ask too much of questions. You see the Two hundred year war is the not end. Rather the beginning of the end. Well actually the end of the war is the beginning of the end. That's where our story will start or should I say beginning of our story ?
Anyway I hope you all enjoy coz I gotta bounce, like through my window. Some pony is knocking on my door and I'm getting a feeling that it is a Rambo looking dude wearing a Celestia and Luna pony shirt holding a shotgun...
