Twilight Sparkle thought that her day would be great, only to find out that her friends has switched destinies, as well as cutie marks! To her frantic shock, it turned out she got a special delivery from Princess Celestia, tasking her to make sense of Star Swirl the Bearded’s unfinished spell, as she believes she is the only pony to do so.

Twilight inadvertently cast the spell, not knowing that the Elements of Harmony would also be changed as well! All hope seemed lost, until Spike suggested that she go and remind her friends of who they really are, being true friends all in all. Once she did that, she finally figured out the spell and finished it, but this would change her drastically....turning her from a unicorn into an alicorn, and Equestria’s newest princess of Friendship.

But, what if something else happened?

What if Twilight, at the suggestion of her friends, didn’t cast Star Swirl’s unfinished spell? What if her friends never got their destinies switched? How different would it might have been? What consequences would be foreseen if this happened? How would Celestia react? How would Spike react? What if there was no Princess of Friendship? Would everything still be perfectly fine?

For Twilight, that might be a smart move. But, decisions can lead to consequences that no one had ever thought of. And sometimes, you have to face the punishment if you didn’t do what was told of you. And, there might be a few words the Princess of the sun might have that could impact not only Twilight’s psyche, but also her time in Ponyville.
