Chapter 1 The Old but New Life

After the defeat of Lord Tirek and the restoration of all the magic in Equestria and Twilight's new castle called Friendship Castle.

She and Spike are now settling in to this new crystal made castle and now only the few books that survive Tirek attack are now being placed on the new library inside the castle.

"Spike! There are still more of books to go stop slacking around" yelled Twilight as she grab some books with her magic

"Yeah yeah I know.... it's just that can't we do this tomorrow" complain Spike as he placed a small stack of books on top of the shelf

"Ohh Spike stop your complaining" she said while placing a very large book on the ground "you know that Princess Celestia will deliver more books to us tomorrow so might as well get done with it"

Spike let out a sigh and said "all I'm saying is that we need some rest we been at it for three hours now"

Sighing in defeat Twilight said "We'll be resting after we take care of this I promise okay" while giving him a reassuring smile

Continuing Arranging books Spike can't shake the feeling that his eyes keep changing to his green slit eyes to violet with black lines circling around it but he decided to shrugged it off

While Spike was placing the last book on top of the shelf the ladder that he was on suddenly broke off the railing.

"Wow... Twilight Hel-" Spike never manage to finish what he was about to say when he hit the ground pretty bad

Spike's vision were getting blurry all he could tell was Twilight was saying something to him but the ringing in Spike's ears can't tell what she said

Then he could tell he was about to pass out because of his eye lids becoming heavy, then darkness that's all he could see endless horizon of darkness

"H-Hello i-is a-anypony there?" Spike said in the dark abyss of nothingness

But he didn't know that somepony or something will answer his question

"Welcome my reincarnate self"

There it was a voice so clear that he can hear it even if he was put on the marketplace of Manehatten

"Uhm...hello...d-do y-you know where I am?" Asked Spike while sweating bullets

The voice chuckle a little then said "Yes you are inside your Mind... Well in the deepest part anyway"

All Spike could think was 'how is that possible all I could remember the last time was I'm with twilight while putting the books then the ladder railing broke and....' Spike's eyes widened at the realization that he might be dead.

"You are not dead your inside your deepest part of your mind and I am you...well in your past life that is"

Spike realized what the voice was telling him and said " what do you mean past life?" while searching for where the voice coming from

"what I mean is I am you after you were hatch a dragon you were me a Shinobi a very powerful Shinobi that is"

Spike still can't find the owner of the voice but he still don't understand what the voice said so he's only chance of knowing the truth is asking the voice

"How can I trust you when I can't see who I'm talking to?"

"Ah...a very good idea I will reveal my self to you so we can have a very understanding talk about our situation"

And with that the voice revealed himself to Spike. He was like the human Spike meet in that other dimension but has red color hair wears a robe of some kind and also has a scary looking eyes. His eyes are Violet with black circles circling around it

" I am Nagato Uzumaki and you are me"

Spike was at this point scared because of this Nagato guy and the fact that his eyes creep him out and the fact he keep saying he and I are the same

"O-Okay w-what do you mean you are me and what do you mean reincarnate?"asked by a very scared Spike

"what I said is all but true you are the reincarnation of me Nagato and the eye of the Rinnegan are still can be used by you"

"But that is Impossible how can I not know that I have been a powerful being all the time!?" Yelled Spike confused

"well because reincarnation is a complicated subject to a mere mortal even I don't have that kind of knowledge, but all you have to know is when you wake up you will now remember everything that I have and used this ability to your disposal because I will fade away from now on because my time is up goodbye and good wishes"

With that Nagato Uzumaki Faded leaving Spike the Dragon Confused. With all that has happened on this day he wanted to just sleep and sleep he did not knowing that the place his in is also Fading.

"Spike....Spike....Spike!!"

Suddenly Opening his eyes he saw was a white room full of medical devices and he was laying down on the bed while surrounded by all of Twilight's friends and at their back was the two Royal sisters

"Ohh...what happened?" Spike said while rubbing his head because of the pain headache

He just sit up and looked at them but they just looking at him like they see a manticore

"Uhm...are you al-" he didn't manage to finish his sentence when suddenly being hugged by a Lavender Alicorn

"Ohh Spike I'm sorry for letting this happen to you I promise I'll make it up to you please forgive me" cried Twilight while hugging Spike tightly

"D-Don't W-worry a-about it just l-let m-me go" said Spike gasping for air

"Ohh...sorry anyway what is wrong with your eyes?" Ask Twilight looking confused

Looking at a mirror he to notice it, his eyes are just like Nagato that means all he said was right. Suddenly a Ferious headache loaded with Nagato's knowledge bomb Spike's head making him scream in pain

All of a sudden his vision darkened again and pass out. He will have a lot of explaining to do once he wake up again and it will be both exciting and scary.
