The New Princesses of Equestria

Two weeks later...

Twilight was sound asleep when her friends arrived in Canterlot. They all showed up for the party in different ways. Rainbow pulled off another Double Sonic Rainboom, which amazed Twilight. Fluttershy was brought in by a massive group of birds. Rarity had hired a carriage driver to bring her in. Pinkie came disguised as a giant balloon, and then popped out. Applejack had hidden in one of the barrels of cider, and then jumped out.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TWILIGHT!!", they all crowed.

Twilight clapped her hooves and then asked how they had become alicorns. None of them really had much explanation as to why it had happened, but they proceeded to tell each of their stories about what happened. Twilight was intrigued by each description, and later wrote a scroll to Celestia. Even she had no idea why this happened, so Twilight knew that the answer would come eventually.
