Trixie vs. Trixie

Twilight and her friends had exited the castle to hit the spa. Trixie and Starlight watched as they left the castle.

Trixie then spoke up. “So Starlight, about that teleportation spell. Do you think we can start over?”

“Sure. Just make sure to listen to me carefully and not just jump to the spell while I’m explaining it mid-sentence. Okay?”

“Of course,” Trixie replied genuinely.

“Let’s go back to teleporting the apple and we’ll progress from there. I’ll go get another one real quick.”

Starlight went to get another apple, coming back and setting it on the Cutie Map. “Okay Trixie. Remember to concentrate on the object that you want to teleport and where to teleport it.”

“Okay. Is that all?”

Starlight nodded her head yes.

“Okay then. I got this.”

Trixie waited for a couple of seconds then cast the spell on the apple. The apple was no longer on the Cutie Map.

“Oh my Gosh I did it!” Trixie cheered

“That’s great! So what was the place you thought of for teleporting the apple.”

“Behind that chair,” Trixie said, pointing towards Pinkie's chair.

The two unicorns headed behind Pinkie’s chair to see that the apple was there.

“Trixie! You’ve mastered the spell!”

The unicorns cheered in excitement.

“Okay, now let’s step it up a notch and teleport two items,” said Starlight. “I’ll take that apple and get another item.”

As Starlight went to get another item, Trixie quickly interjected.

“Um, Starlight.”

“Yeah?”

“Do you think I can teleport us both to my wagon?”

Starlight thought about her friend’s decision for a moment.

“Uh, sure.” Starlight then walked over to Trixie. “Since you’re teleporting both of us, it’s going to be harder since you’re not only teleporting yourself, but you’re teleporting the two of us. But it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. You’re doing the same thing but instead there’s two of us so you’ll have to concentrate more.”

“Oh okay.”

Just like the apple, Trixie waited a few seconds and then casted the spell. The unicorns teleported from being in the Castle of Friendship to Trixie’s Wagon.

“Trixie you did it! And on your first try! Your magic is getting better and better!”

Trixie was ecstatic. “This is perfect! If I keep this up, my magic performances will be more great and powerful!”

Starlight had been teaching Trixie spells throughout the rest of the day. The sun was starting to set.

“Starlight, I can’t thank you enough for teaching me all those spells.”

“Of course Trixie. What are friends for? Anyways, it’s getting late. I better head back.”

As Starlight exited Trixie’s Wagon, she quickly headed back in to tell her something.

“Oh, I almost forgot. I wanted to give you this.” Starlight lit up her horn and gave Trixie a spell book.

“It’s a spell book. You can practice spells that we didn’t go over today.”

“Aww. Thanks Starlight.”

“You’re welcome. Well, I gotta go. See you later.”

“See you later,” Trixie waved to her friend as she left her wagon.

After Starlight was out of her sight, Trixie looked at her spell book. “Hmm. I guess I could practice some spells,” she thought to herself.

It was late at night, Trixie was practicing a spell on trying to duplicate herself. She had failed after five attempts. “Ugh, come one!” After she yelled out the spell one more time, failing again, she heard a knock outside her wagon. “Hello?” A unicorn with a mask entered the wagon.

“Hello,” replied the mysterious unicorn.

“Who are you?” asked Trixie.

“I bet you’ll never guess.”

“Whoa! You got a really nice voice, not gonna lie.”

The unicorn took off her mask to reveal that she was a replica of Trixie. “Thanks Trixie.”

Trixie jumped back in surprise. “WHOA!! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! What the heck?! What?!”

“What? I-I thought you would’ve known you complimented our voices.”

“Whhhhhhat? No. How would I know that you would be me?”

“Uh, duh, ‘cause you used the duplication spell.”

“Yeah! That was supposed to be on myself!”

“Well yeah, you were yelling it out in real life too though.”

“O-Okay well how was I supposed to know that magic spells worked in real life?”

“Well if you don’t believe me, then watch this! Give me an Infinity Gauntlet.”

An Infinity Gauntlet appeared on duplicate Trixie’s hoof.

“WHOA!! Oh my gosh! How did you do that?!”

“Trixie, all you have to do is say the magic spell. Are you stupid?”

“Uh, well you’re me so…”

“Not anymore! Replace Trixie’s head with Thanos’!”

Trixie’s head was replaced with the purple sweaty man’s head from the Endgame movie. “AAAAHHHHH!!! WHAT THE HECK!?!?!?!?! WHY’D YOU…”

Duplicate Trixie was bursting with laughter. “You look so stupid!”

Trixie cast a spell to turn her head back to normal. “Oh my Celestia! Jeez, I can breathe now. Trixie decided to fight back by calling out spells of her own. “Struck Trixie with lightning!”

“AAAAHHHH!!!” Lightning struck through the wagon and zapped duplicate Trixie.

“Hahahahahaha! You idiot! Oh my gosh!”

“Ugh, gosh. Oh, so you wanna play that game huh?” Duplicate Trixie used the power of the Mind Stone, choking Trixie without having to physically do it herself.

“Oh my gosh! Ugh!!” Trixie was struggling to get her words out.” R-replace Trixie’s g-gauntlet with a c-cat!”

Trixie was able to get her spell out as a cat replaced duplicate Trixie’s gauntlet, attacking her in the process.

“Hahahahahaha! I turned it into a cat! Oh my gosh!”

Duplicate Trixie slowly got up off the floor after she had been struck with lightning. “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah that’s all you got. Well, you’ve seen nothing. Watch this. Teleport Trixie’s heart onto my hoof!”

“Pfft! What’s that gonna do? I’m fine. My heart is right here,” Trixie said pointing to the left side of her chest. “That spell isn't gonna work idiot.”

ARE YOU SURE!?!?!?!?!?!?!” duplicate Trixie said in a sinister tone as her irises shrunk and her eyebrows furrowed in anger, holding Trixie’s heart in her right hoof.

“AH!! Oh my Celestia! I’m dying! I’m dying!”

Trixie quickly had to save herself or it’ll be over for her. “Transplant Tr-Trixie’s heart to m-me.”

Trixie now had duplicate Trixie’s heart inside of her body. Duplicate Trixie was suddenly not feeling well.

“So, inste-instead of taking back your heart, yo-you took mine instead. Th-this was just a fake heart. It was all a joke.”

Duplicate Trixie started coughing and collapsed to the floor.

“Oh my gosh! What?! No!!”

Trixie ran up to the dead body of herself. “Oh my gosh no. Oh jeez. Welp! I guess it’s time to go practice the duplication spell. I’ll have to tell this story to Starlight tomorrow.”

As Trixie went back to practice the spell, a thought quickly hit her head. “Wait, if that was a fake heart then… Ah it’s fine.”

Author's Note

I didn't actually watch the Endgame movie so if duplicate Trixie is doing something wrong with the gauntlet, you know why.
