Ponyville is a booze town. Sweet Apple Acres cider, Colton Vine's winery, Berry Punch's berry punch, and many others. So when the annual Manehattan Brewers and Distillers Convention kicks off, half the town is in attendence.

Mary Pennyworth Mare, Mayor of Ponyville, is there too. She has to protect the good name of the town, help her constituents get what they want and prevent any 'incidents' from occuring. And when one of the drunken, undereducated louts she's sheparding inevitably causes an incident or four, she has to be there for damage control.

It's a pretty stressful job.

She meets a griffon named Gilda at the hotel bar one evening, and they hit it off. Then, Gilda comes to her hotel room, and they really hit it off.
