"Ffff-fuck, fuck! Nrrmggf- r-rut me! Pleee-eease! I- I need to b-be filled, fff-fuck!" The whorish moans of a mare getting her brains rutted out filled the open air, lewd onomatopoeia to accompany it. PLAP! PLAP! PLAP! How did she get here, again? Only a night ago she was minding her own business, sitting by a warm fire; the next, she was face-down ass-up and subject to the fucking of her life. A grand public defiling by a green-coated mutant, helpless to resist her dominant nature. Where did this all start?...
Senior Paladin Coffee Swirl had always been a devout and strong-willed mare, so to speak. She'd often murmur praises to Celestia in her time of need, take moments out of her day to meditate upon important decisions, and lend a helping hoof to her brothers and sisters in the bunker where the Steel Rangers had made their home. Even after they'd decided to retreat into their steel-clad tomb for cowardly reasons, she'd kept her alliance to them.
Because of these traits, she often thought that she'd be safe from carrying out the "dirtier" tasks that were commonly assigned to knights and lower-ranking paladins; unpleasantly surprised to find out that she'd been assigned on a high-stakes wasteland reconnaissance mission to determine whether or not it was safe to re-emerge once more.
"Urgh," Coffee'd mumble to herself, a permanent scowl twisted onto her face while she walked. "Sweetie Drops. My name is Sweetie Drops, I'm from Tenpony tower, I'm-" No, no no. This was all wrong, she shouldn't HAVE to hide herself like this! She belonged in a shiny suit of power armor, armed to the teeth with explosives and ballistics.
Her grumpy visage only worsened with each thought that crossed her mind, greatly uncomfortable without her usual attire. Instead of the aforementioned mobile heavy-weapons platform that somepony of her kind would usually don, she was dressed in a dark denim jumpsuit; the fabric sticking nicely to her lithe curves and muscular form. A hood was swept over her head, hiding the sand-colored mare's faded yellow and red-striped mane.
She found herself trotting into a small, unmarked town on the southwestern coast of Equestria; a hilly region that her contingent had been fighting for dominance in before they'd locked themselves away. "Ashes" is what everypony seemed to call it, named after the continuous warfare that lied inside. In lieu of all the bloodshed, it still found a way to have a thriving community within its bounds; a ceasefire zone containing a saloon near the water. Her furrowed auburn eyes scanned across the horizon, storm clouds threatening to encroach their way towards the mare and drench her from mane to hoof if she didn't seek shelter soon.
"Shatterhoof ridge? No..." Coffee'd continue mumbling to herself, trotting through dead grass and fallen branches. The burnt leaf-barren trees around her suggested that at one time, this might have been a beautiful forest - ridden to ash the moment balefire swept through the region. Resonating gunshots popped off around her in the far distance, reminding the deep-in-thought mare that it was no place to stop for a brainstorming session. Moving onwards with an alert expression, she'd make her way to the ceasefire zone. If she was going to get answers about the current conditions of this place, it would be there.
The storm clouds, confirming her fears, were now much closer than before. The clear sky that remained behind her shone a light on the distant downpour that erupted from the mighty cumulonimbus patch, lightning and thunder accompanying the acidic rain. She didn't particularly want to be in gross, damp clothes for the entire duration of her wasteland venture, thus, she elected to take shelter beneath a small patch of boxes with a green tarp hung overhead.
Like clockwork, the rain would come down onto the zone. Wind blew lightly, a faint pitter patter drummed on the tarp above her head. Shivers would run down her spine in the sudden drop of temperature, the mare silently cursing herself due to her lack of warm clothes. "Celestia above," Coffee'd think, "save this wretched soul." It was said as a prayer; for peace, for warmth, for safety. Eventually drifting to sleep, her hooves folded.
Coffee Swirl awoke to silence alongside the heavy scent of dew, the sound of crackling flame next to her- wait. Her ears perked up, "I didn't start a fire!-" she'd realize, eyes snapping open to see...
A green alicorn.
She was massive, at least, in comparison to Coffee; her slim, green coat shimmering faintly from the fire's warm glow. Her face carried a monotonous expression, seemingly uncaring of the mare behind her.
Coffee's heart began to pump rapidly from a mixture of fear and confusion. "Why is that THING here?! I-Is she planning to kidnap me? Torture me?! EAT me?" Her mind raced, thoughts swimming in and out at a million miles an hour. Coffee's mouth opened to say something, but all she could manage was a forced-out "Hhh-hi?"
"Greetings," the alicorn began, "I simply seek respite from the rain." Her eyes glanced over towards the paladin and shut shortly after, but no other move was shown.
Coffee's wide-eyed scowl didn't falter, discomfort in every part of her body. Just Why did this creature decide to plant itself down in her shelter? Well, it wasn't her's per se, but she was using it! Clearing her throat, she'd do her best to remember her mission. Blend in, act natural. "O-of course. Wha-at, er... What might your name be?" Asked Coffee, doing her best to remain in a neutral posture.
"I am Starwing. And calm yourself; I do not mean you any harm." She'd say, her eyes continuing to lazily stay shut with no concern for the near-trembling pony behind her.
Coffee narrowed her gaze, scowl deepening. "Yeah, right," She thought, "The last alicorn who said that nearly wiped out my entire squad. Purple bitch." Clearing her throat, she remained weary of the mutant in front of her. "O-of course, my apologies. I've, erm... B-bad experiences with alicorns in the past." A thin silence hung in the air for several moments after she spoke before she'd slowly rise from the ground onto her hooves. "I-I'm... Sweetie Drops."
"I see." Starwing said, pausing before the larger mare turned her head to face the so-called "Sweetie Drops". "I apologize if I am too close. I wished only to stay out of the rain."
"I-It's fine. I enjoy the company, I suppose." Coffee said, now noticing the dampness of her clothes. Looking up, she'd realize that the darkness was, in fact, the outside - the tarp that was once above her having blown away in the storm. The fire looked so welcoming, yet the presence of the alicorn kept her glued in place, standing there as if she were a lost child.
"I see." Starwing repeated, her slitted eyes lowering as she'd give Coffee a subtle nod. This mare wasn't a threat to her, at least, not in this state. Dripping wet and trembling at the very sight of her, the alicorn could more than likely pick Coffee up and rip her in half if she truly wanted.
With yet another silence building up, Coffee couldn't bear the uncomfortable sensation of being cold and damp anymore. She'd inch her way over to the fire, stepping over Starwing's long, elegant tail with caution. Her eyes couldn't help but glance over the alicorn's body; her flank, her thighs, every little bit seemed as if it was perfect in design. Her instincts told her that this creature, this mutant was nothing but a danger to ponykind, but she hadn't been attacked yet. "Remember the mission, Coffee..." She'd murmur under her breath, now on the other side of the campfire. Warmth had finally come, spreading into her body from her now-outstretched hooves. She'd shiver, nonetheless.
"... I apologize for not extending my shield to you. I am oft wary of those I have never seen. Are you cold?" Asked Starwing, her first real show of emotion. She sounded concerned for the smaller mare, her head tilting slightly to the left.
Coffee looked surprised to hear the other mare say such a thing - it was an alicorn after all. Why did it have any concern for her? Surely, this must be a trick. She'd also note the distinct dryness in comparison to her own self. "I-I'll be fine," she'd say, raising a hoof and turning her head to decline, "The sun will rise, and so will warmth." Even though she had no earthly clue of when that would be, it was her nature, the nature of all Rangers from her contingent to deny such help from an outsider, from an ALICORN of all creatures.
Starwing looked on at her with a neutral expression, head still tilted. "So it does. Still..." Her left wing rose into the air, offering Coffee a spot next to her. Her tone was sincere, almost caring towards the smaller pony.
Coffee's face turned a shade of scarlet at the offer, eyes glistening at the raised wing. She'd fought and killed plenty of Starwing's "sisters" in the past, countless bodies strewn across battlefields of a past day. She'd never once caressed the fur of a living alicorn, let alone one's feathers - and a docile, seemingly peaceful one at that. Forcefully closing her agape mouth, she'd swallow a lump of saliva that had built up in her mouth before slowly nodding. "I- I suppose..." It was cold, after all. Just two ponies sharing warmth, that was it. Once more, she'd rise up and begin trotting closer towards the alicorn, sliding under her wing and nestling relatively close to her body.
Starwing, without a word, set her wing down atop the shivering mare the moment she found herself comfortable. The alicorn's body would subtly adjust in position, the balefire that still burned deep inside of her providing a heavenly warmth that caused Coffee's eyelids to droop. No mere pegasus could recreate the weight nor texture of an alicorn's wings, akin to a living blanket crafted from feathers.
This wasn't just any pillow, this was an alicorn pillow.
Coffee couldn't help herself as her eyelids lowered further and further down, Starwing's audible heartbeat guiding her own into taking a break for comfort, just this once. She'd already been exhausted; traveling for a good portion of the day, waking up in the middle of the night damp and cold, and worrying her mind about whether or not this... Mare was going to hurt her.
The more she'd listen in on that heartbeat, however, the more Coffee realized she wasn't so different from the goliath she laid next to.
Starwing's gaze didn't move away from the fire, allowing the pony under her wing to catch up on her rest. She found that she was in desperate need of such a thing as well, her rhythmic heartbeat beginning to slow upon going into a state of dormancy. She'd set her head down next to Coffee, eyes shutting, and slipped underneath the veil of consciousness alongside the smaller mare.
Day broke, and with it, ponies went on with their mornings. The heap of sleeping flesh beside the crates was generally avoided as to not enrage a slumbering alicorn, an average passer-by giving the two a prolonged stare before trotting on their merry way. Coffee's eyes fluttered open gradually, a goofy smile on her face. She was warm, dry; the sun's soothing rays shining a pool of brilliant light across the landscape around her and...
The alicorn.
Her eyes widened, Coffee gasping sharply at the sight. She'd nearly forgotten about her impromptu cuddle session with Starwing, a taboo practice that would get her shot at best if it was found out by her superiors. Not only that, but if it were any other circumstance, she'd have shot the mare dead on the spot. Taking a moment to gaze at her partner with a more in-depth nature, she'd run her eyes across her gorgeous fur, silk-like hair, powerful lithe muscles that would faintly show in the sunlight. She'd gulp, finding herself wanting to bury her face in the alicorn's mane, but...
She'd settle for closing her eyes and laying back into Starwing's body, as such a display would be uncouth and unbecoming of a Paladin such as her.
Starwing, however, had noticed the mare's awakening already. She'd subtly lift a hoof, hesitating for a moment - a single slitted eye opening to gaze over Coffee's own frame, before slipping the leg around her's. Perhaps it was curiosity on her part; most ponies fearful of her kind, much so that she'd never seen a regular pony this close up before.
With their hooves suddenly locked, Coffee would open her eyes to stare into Starwing's. She'd be wordless, looking down at the contact with awe. Lucky for the green mare, she shared the curious drive that brought them to this point in the first place - allowing Starwing to pull her into an even closer embrace.
Once more, heaven's gates felt a little closer.
Starwing, amused by Coffee's compliance towards her advances, spoke in a hushed tone. "Do you enjoy that, little one?" Her expression didn't change, the green mare whispering into her partner's ear.
The sensation of the alicorn's hot breath on her body sent a jolt down Coffee's spine, resonating down into her hips and nestling gently in her crotch. "I- I... It's an odd experience. The ponies where I'm from vilify your kind, a-and yet..." She'd squirm underneath the alicorn's wing, actively attempting to un-stuck her now-sticky jumpsuit bottom, "I... I feel safe here. I'm- I- I'm comforted by your... U-uhm, presence." She'd stammer her words out like a nervous gradeschool filly confronting her crush.
The alicorn nodded slowly, bringing her head back into its neutral position. "Understandable," Each word she spoke was suddenly like a rich dessert to Coffee, savoring every syllable that slipped from Starwing's mouth. "I do my best to help the ponies around me, no matter what." At that moment, Coffee noticed her smirk for the first time. "Even if they are rather little."
Coffee gigglesnorted at that comment, raising a brow. "Little? I'll have you know I'm average-sized." She huffed, staring at the embers of last night's fire. The two lied there for what felt like several long minutes before the shorter mare would speak again. "The wasteland would... Would be kinder with more ponies like you, I think." She spoke with her ears pressed to the back of her head, knowing full well that she'd been mistaken about Starwing's kind for so long. They weren't all terrible, were they? No, they were like any other pony. They had emotion, aspirations, interests...
Starwing gave Coffee's hoof a gentle grip, taking the mare out of her melancholy thought process. Coffee's ears perked up once more, her gaze snapping back to the alicorn's slitted green eyes. "Perhaps so," Starwing said, her usually-calm tone once more being candy to the shorter mare's ears, "But there are not." Her head bowed back down to close the gap between the two, a second benevolent smirk encroaching on her face. "I am glad that you have found comfort in this moment, at least."
The both of them remained in silence for a long while afterward, watching ponies go about with their days. A fishercolt on the docks, a mercenary armed to the teeth slumped against the saloon, the occasional NCR patrol that would trot by; on the lookout for any unsavory folk. It almost felt like for a moment, every distant gunshot was silenced by the area's serenity - every sound toned out by Starwing's rhythmic heartbeat alone. Coffee's head began to slip into her mane, the mare's eyes closing once more, her face rubbing against the silk-like texture. Even if the constant reminder of her mission hung over her head like a guillotine's blade, she chose to savor this moment to its fullest.
Nothing lasts forever, unfortunately.
Without any warning, Starwing rose to her hooves. She'd face the horizon, her eyes opened only halfway as she stated her departure. "I have to go."
Coffee's eyes shot open at the sudden removal of her living pillow, staring up at the much-taller alicorn. "W-wait!" She'd exclaimed, clambering to her hooves. She felt like she was the size of a filly even when standing next to the mare. This couldn't be it, could it? Surely, if they were never to see each other again, there had to be some sort of grand "au revoir" to finish off their encounter. Coffee already had something on her mind. "I- I wanted to... If- if you'd let me, I wanted to do something before you left. Just incase we never-..." She didn't want to think about that. One night had filled her with such pleasant feelings for this mare, she had to see her again. "-...Cross paths again."
Starwing, curious of what exactly Coffee had in mind, gave the anxious mare a nod. "You may." She didn't know everything, of course, omniscience wasn't a part of her spellset.
Coffee gulped, raising her hoof to the alicorn's face and beginning to pull it in. Her cheeks were flush, her crotch growing damp with every inch closer the two grew. "Pleasedon'thatemeeee..." Coffee'd think, and...
Contact.
Their lips were pressed together in a single moment of intimacy, exchanging eachother's tastes. Fireworks shot off in her head, alarm clocks blaring, bombs exploding. She tasted the faint zing of radioactive saliva on Starwing's lips, a tickle on her tongue that lasted the entire duration of their sudden gesture. Just as their moment of cuddling ended, however, this too had to pause. Coffee'd break the kiss, a strand of mixed saliva bridging inbetween their lips before breaking as the small mare took a step back and looked hesitantly up at the alicorn.
Starwing's eyes widened in shock, her mouth agape, almost as if she didn't expect that to happen. Her slitted eyes flicked down to Coffee. "You'll know how to find me, little one." She spoke in a sultry tone, deeper than usual, spreading her wings. With a single, powerful flap, she'd be off into the air - flying west towards the plains.
... And leaving a bewildered Coffee to contemplate what the hell she just did.
She'd barely have time to watch the alicorn leave before realizing that she had many different eyes on her at the moment. "Mrrfh..." Groaning, she pulled her hood further down over her face and began to trot away with haste.
She was definitely going to be shoving her hoof down her crotch to this later.
