Chapters FrostyFox's Equestrian Adventure.
Far above the lands of Equestria, Floating in the deep dark void of space, the front half of a phoenix class star-ship creaked and groaned as physics once again took hold of the craft after having popped into existence above Equestria. Lights blinked to life across what used to be the bow of the Arctic-Freezer, the ship sent to colonize one of the colder planets in the galaxy, as the backup power-cells whirred to life. Nothing stirred inside accept for one holographic table, on which floated a holographic crystal. For minutes the crystal floated without a sound, until suddenly a very feminine voice spoke out, each word making the crystal pulse slightly, “hmm well shit.... That wasn’t supposed to happen.” said the voice in a very annoyed tone. “What the hell happened?” she questioned as she scanned what was left of what was once her home. “Only one survivor?!?! What the fuck!?!?!” she exclaimed at the top of her voice. Quickly scanning over the Cryopods looking for the life signature she felt just moments ago, it was faint, to faint for her liking. “There! Life signature detected, faint heartbeat, yet strangely not human? Just what has stowed away on my ship?” she questioned.
As she questioned how the creature had managed to get aboard an alert pinged in the back of her mind, The damage report. “WAIT WHAT?!?!” she practically screamed, “Since when was i flying HALF of a ship?!?!” reacting quickly she pinged what was left of the sensor array. What she found filled her digital core with dread. “no no no no! Where the hell are we?!?! What happened!” what she had found, was a VERY large celestial body just off the starboard side of what was once a colossal ship. She quickly ordered what was left of the sensor array to scan the planet while she thought up a plan. “OK than, so there’s one survivor out of what was 3500 people and we are currently on a collision course with a planetary body with absolutely no maneuvering capabilities whatsoever and whats worse is i don’t even know whether the creature is friendly! Well this is just fucking great!” she exclaimed in anger. Deeming that she didn’t have much other choice, she re-positioned her crystal body above a holopanel in-front of the only cryopod on the ship with something still breathing inside so that she could at-least get a good look at it.
What she saw actually froze her process for a few nanoseconds, for what was inside the pod wasn’t human, nor was it covenant. What was inside of this pod, appeared to be an adorable white fluff-ball with dark patches of fur on its paws and ears. Quickly composing herself she made a judgement call. “Well you look harmless enough, and I really need some help now. I don’t know how you got here but that’s a worry for another day, i need you and you need me.” quickly scanning the room she remembered that the ship had almost entirely lost pressure, meaning that oxygen was a scarcity. Luckily the room he was located in had emergency bulkheads that could be sealed. Sending the order to close the bulkhead doors she also scanned the ship for anything that could help pressurize the room. Luckily the ship still had one oxygen generator still online. Quickly powering it up she began pumping oxygen into the now sealed room.
looking at the pod with pure determination she spoke aloud “well fluff-ball? Lets hope your as friendly as you look. Because i really need your help right now.” taking a second to refresh her digital core, which is basically the closest thing an AI could get to ‘taking a deep breath’ as they could get. She initialized the revival procedure in the pod. And slowly the creature in-front of here started to blink its eyes open. Suddenly it tried to spring into sitting position, banging its head on the glass in the process. Looking straight at her it moved its mouth as if talking. Only than did she remember the chamber was sealed, quickly tapping a few orders she activated the intercom inside the pod. “Calm down! Take a deep breath! You’ve been out for a while!” Slowly the creature seemed to relax, although it never took its eyes off of her. “Do you know where you are?” she asked. The creature promptly shook its head, no. “My name is Winter! Im the shipboard AI of the Arctic-Freezer! I don’t know how you got here but i really need your help. Do you think you can look up?” the creature nodded its head in affirmation and looked up. “Do you see the manual release?” Again another nod. “Im gonna need you to reach up and pull that switch.”
The creature looked around the room than glared at her. For a second this left Winter confused, than she realized the current state of the ship. " Don’t worry! Ive sealed the doors and re-pressurized the room! Your actually lucky, this is one of the few places in the ship that still has pressure.” although the creature obviously still doubted her it shrugged its shoulders and proceeded to reach up and grab the lever. Giving a mighty pull the door hissed open and the creature slowly floated out from the pod. Only than did Winter remember that there was no gravity, " oh right sorry! Forgot the gravity generators.” quickly pinging a few systems the debris around the room dropped, and so did the creature, right on its face. “Oops! My bad, guess you weren’t prepared for that huh?” Silence filled the room. “Hey you ok there ya little fluff-ball?” uh oh. “Oops, guess ya hit your head a little to hard didn’t ya?” and again, silence. “Hey you ok down there?” and again, even more silence. “Well shit. Guess i gotta wait for you to wake up now don’t i?” well shit.
“Welp i might aswell make myself useful while i wait.” and with that the crystal floating on the panel winked out of existence as Winter went elsewhere in what was left of the Arctic-Freezer’s System to begin repairs. Although she checked back every minute to make sure her fluffy little friend was ok. And so that she knew when he awoke.

sorry for the short chapter! ended up not having alot of time to write and the place i ended up with this chapter felt like a good stopping point in order to lead into the next chapter, which i promise will be longer. thank you for your patience! and since This is one of my first story's any feedback is appreciated! tell me anything and everything! don't care if its negative because negative feedback allows me to *within reason* correct my story to have a better appeal to its audience!

As the Arctic-Freezer slowly drifted through space, Winter did her very best to bring as many of the damaged ships systems back online as possible. running through the damaged systems and gathering information on what was working and what wasn't. Luckily there were still a few escape pods left inside the ship, aswell as a few working generators. Unfortunately that wouldn't matter if she couldn't get the few maneuvering thrusters that were still attached to the ship to function, because if she cant make them work, the ship will fall into the atmosphere. Turns out the alien survivor/intruder hit its head hard, although the fact that it was super weak for some reason didn't help its case.
Minutes turned to hours, as the ship drifted towards the planet Winter began to panic a little. If the creature didn't wake up soon they wouldn't be able to abandon ship in time. If the creature didn't wake up in time their only chance was the maneuvering thrusters that STILL refused to function. Suddenly she was pinged by the sensor array that she had ordered to scan the planet, thankfully the planet had a survivable atmosphere. but that was the only good news, The day and night cycle was perfect, to perfect. It was as if something on the ground was controlling the sun and moon, which was physically impossible, granted the UNSC has come across many things that seemed physically impossible. One such instance was their arrival here in the first place, the star system and the constellations around it seemed to constantly be changing, never staying one way or another. It defied all logic and yet it seemed so graceful, either way their location didn't match ANY of her star charts.
After she finished scanning over the information from the Sensor Array, Winter returned to restoring as many systems as possible. Eventually after minutes of combing over the Systems she had managed to completely restore the life support systems, Pressurizing most areas in the ship. But just than something happened that filled her core with dread, with a loud POP one of the 2 remaining generators exploded into a shower of blue sparks and red flames, quickly venting the room to put out the fires and keep the little oxygen they had from burning away Winter was filled with dread as the few remaining systems lost power. Turns out the load on the 2 little generators were too much for them to handle. quickly shutting down everything accept life support, door controls, and her own systems, Winter managed to reduce the load on the remaining generator to something it can handle, but only barely.
Winter relocated her floating crystal form back to the console in the Cryobay, and in a panicked voice she called out to the creature " wake up fluffball, we're running out of time, and fast! come on! we need to get out of here!" on the outside of the ship the Arctic-Freezer was completely dark, having had almost all of its systems shut down it floated ominously towards the planet, Slowly building up momentum the ship soon reached terminal velocity for something of that size. at this speed even if they didn't fall apart in the atmosphere the collision with the ground would be the end of them. "wake up fluffball! we just ran out of time!" but it was no use. the creature remained still.
"wow you sleep through anything don't you? shit this is bad." Winter quickly decided that they only had 2 options, one, the creature wakes up and puts on a suit, takes her AI chip and boards an escape pod and leaves. OR if she could charge the power-cells enough she could fire what was left of the maneuvering thrusters and push them into orbit. diverting what little excess energy the generator produced that wasn't powering the life support systems and her AI core, she began to charge the power-cells and bring the few maneuvering thrusters that were left undamaged back online.
A few minutes went by and the impact alert began to sound in the back of her mind, calculating their speed, location, and distance from the planet, she began a countdown timer. Starting now she had 30 minutes and twelve seconds until they hit the atmosphere. Opting to keep charging the power-cells for the first fifteen minutes she began scanning the inventory for something that could ever hope to possibly fit the creature she found a box that wasn't in the ships inventory. The box had a note attached to it though, it read, give this to the fox. Scanning its contents she was surprised to find a suit that looked like it could fit the creature aswell as a light blue scarf the same length as the creatures entire body.
Strangely enough it was in the Storage room nearest to the escape pods. Opting that it got there the same way the creature did, she made a note of the location and once again returned to the exterior camera. 16 minutes left on the timer, one minute until she put everything on the line to try and save both her and the creature, she performed the AI equivalent of taking a deep breath, and letting it out. The clock hit fifteen, "welp, hold on sleeping beauty. we're going for a ride." manipulating the maneuvering thrusters into an angle that will blast them in the right direction she quickly diverted all of the stored up power into the thrusters, and fired.
On the outside of the Arctic-Freezer the thrusters lit up the void as they fired, only for about half of them to EXPLODE in a blaze of glory, while the rest kept on pushing. while it managed to slow they're decent it wasn't enough to push them into orbit. it had bought them time, but that was it. Recalculating the timer she settled on the fact that she had only bought them a few minutes, the timer now gave a readout that said, 21 minutes remaining until impact. But that's only IF the thrusters keep firing, which they wont. Her only hope was now the fox that was unconscious on the deck of the cryobay, though the change in momentum had rolled him onto his back there were no other changes in his breathing, and he remained still. "well fluffball, guess that's it huh? if you can hear me wake up. please. both of our lives depend on you now."

Sorry again for the short chapter! couldn't figure out how to extend this anymore, the events following feel like they'd be best if they happen in a different chapter. Thanks for reading! I promise i will try to make the next chapter longer.

I cracked open my eyes a little and Immediately regretted it, squeezing them shut i began to slowly open them, only to throw them open wide in surprise at what i saw. I sat up as fast as i could, quickly realizing that i am indeed, still a tiny little fox. " What the fuck? Where am i? And why am i still a fox? I thought that was supposed to be a dream or something, a dream in a dream maybe?” I stood up on my, uh, paws? Yeah paws. I stood up and looked around, I was in some sort of white void. “What in the 9 rings of hell?” i spoke in confusion. Suddenly, the void seemed to darken, what used to be an infinite void suddenly had depth, as an absolutely massive wall of white suddenly shot towards me, it looked no different than the ground i stood on. Yet in the wall was a door, and when the wall got a good 3 to 4 meters away from me the door opened, and out stepped what could only be described as a deep blue fucking horse, accept this one had massive eyes, a horn, and wings.
It seemed as surprised as me when it saw me, but suddenly, and i shit you not, it spoke! " I apologize for intruding upon thy dreams, but i had to investigate when a creature not of our world entered the range of my dream magic” Wait, dream magic? So this IS a dream! Well thank fucking god, for a second there i thought i had actually been transformed into an anthropomorphic fox. I let out a breath i didn’t know i had been holding, only to realize, wait, if this is a dream within a dream does that mean that the dream before this had actually been real? Or is this just a manifestation of my mind trying to convince myself that this was all in fact a dream and I’d wake up in my bed soon.
I began to panic because i honestly couldn’t figure out what was going on, " wait so am i actually a 2 legged fox or is that part of the dream to?” i asked in a panicked voice. She seemed taken aback by my answer, and hesitated for only a moment before affirming that yes, i am in fact a fox in the real world.
“I wasn’t aware that you were not aware that you were not on your own world, the only clue that i had that you were a spacefarer was that you were far above our world.” Wait so i actually am an anthro fox? And im unconscious in a dying ship talking to a fucking dream horse. Well this is just fucking dandy now isn’t it?
“So im far above your world huh? Well shit, how fast am i moving towards the ground? I mean if you know im above you than you can obviously track my location, may not be accurate but you can definitely get a general idea. As far as i know the ship isn’t doing so well, meaning its probably not gonna be a soft landing, if ya get what i mean.”
Obviously surprised as to how fast i regained my composure she wasn’t prepared for the information i just spouted at her. " Your ship isn’t doing so well? Meaning its damaged? I can see why you would need that information, one moment.” she paused for a moment and closed her eyes, seemingly concentrating. “You appear to be moving towards our planet at an increasing rate. You must wake up! If your ship is as bad as you say than you must wake up and take action! I will attempt to use my magic to wake you now. But before we part ways let us at least exchange names, my name is princess Luna, Walker of dreams.
well guess that explains that, " my names a little bit of a grey area right now, In my old form i had a name but i guess it doesn’t really apply anymore, right now i guess im described as a white fluffball? I don’t know. How about this, when i wake up ill find you, and ill tell you my name than, because by than I’d have probably figured it out right? Yeah, lets go with that.” Luna seemed to hesitate at that answer, but i couldn’t really give her a better one. My logic is that ill name myself once i learn more about my new self.
“I understand, your situation is something I have never encountered before. I hope you survive long enough for me to know you, and maybe even help you. Good luck my friend, and may we meet again in the waking world.” wow, that was actually pretty touching. Wasn’t expecting that from a blue horse princess, but i guess knowing the first one i got to know a little in this world is nice, its a little reassuring.
“thanks for understanding Luna, i hope to know you at some point to, goodbye.” with that she smiled and her horn lit up with energy, and my vision began to blacken. Before blacking out i gave her a big smile, before promptly falling backwards, And the world went black.

And again i couldn't figure out how to make the chapter any longer, I genuinely could not figure out how to get the paragraphs right mainly because i got denied several times for not starting a new paragraph every time a different character started speaking. if anybody has any advice for how to better do this could you please let me know? thanks!

Out of the Pan, Into the Fire.
Suddenly my senses were absolutely flooded with the world around me, the humming of the ship reached my ears, the coldness of the floor reached the pads on my fingers, and my eyes shot open to take in the environment around me, Until suddenly the voice i recognize as Winter reached my ears. " Oh thank god your awake! Please get up! We ran out of time a minute and a half ago!" while i was dazed for a second i quickly registered what she meant, all options had been exhausted and she now needed my help to save our asses.
" what the hell is going on? As far as i can tell we're in a broken ass space ship that's falling apart, we are falling towards a populated planet and we need to get the fuck off. That about right?" She was silent for a few moments, probably surprised at how much i knew about what was going on and how prepared i was to act, which in all honesty surprised me to, guess there's more that changed about me than just body huh? Anyways after apparently recovering from her state of shock, Winter began to explain the situation.
"basically I've exhausted all of my options, I may not know how you got here or who you are, but somehow a box addressed to you ended up in the storage room on the same route to the escape pods, just a minor detour. The ship is in ruins, we are currently on a collision course with an unpopulated section of land, a desert. The maneuvering thrusters took care of that. After you get your gear and salvage as much as you can carry from the supply room you will grab my AI chip from one of the panels, after that both of us will head towards the escape pod, load up, and launch. I will do my best to maneuver us as close as possible to the green section of land, someplace filled with horses that apparently are intelligent.
"ok than, point me where i need to go, we haven't the time to lose." suddenly i was interrupted as the ship was rocked by an explosion that made itself present on the exterior hull, the power flickered and the console where winter had appeared was dark. "Winter? You still there!?" I called in a panicked voice. A door on the other side of the room dinged and opened, guess that means yes. Not wasting anymore time i started moving towards the door, though i was having difficulty because of the new legs.
As i walked into the hallway winters voice made itself heard again, "sorry about that! power-failures all over the ship have made it difficult for me to move about, that last explosion cut off my access to several rooms, it also took out 3 out of the few remaining thrusters."
Well shit! gotta hurry, picking up the pace and using the wall for balance i continued through the hallways of the ship, eventually i came up to a door marked storage bay 16. with a ding the door panel glowed a bright green, and the metal door slid open.
Rifles lined a few walls, a few packs and boxes. and one of them looked, familiar, i couldn't for the life of me explain why, but i could swear Ive seen it somewhere before. All i could tell is it has a note attached to it, fuck it, its gonna bug me for the rest of my life if i don't read it. I moved up to the box and took the note in my paw and began to read out-loud.
"Give this box to the white fox" huh, guess this is the box Winter was talking about. I lifted the lid of the box slowly, and when i saw what was inside my jaw dropped. There was a Black and blue skintight suit with an accompanying helmet, A long blue scarf which even with it tied around my neck it would reach the almost to the ground, A small computer tablet that can be strapped to your arm, an earpiece that was designed for an fox ear, and a small oxygen tank to hook up to the helmet.
"Well than, guess i better suit up than." Wasting no time, mainly because even though i got fur its still a bit drafty just letting it all hang, oh yeah and the whole falling from the sky bit too. I slip into the suit and zip it up, I tie the scarf around my neck and wouldn't ya know it, i was right! i swear this thing just barely doesn't drag across the flooring. I strap the CT to my left arm and pull it tight, and last but not least i put in the earpiece and slid on the helmet. The second the suit had a seal a HUD lit up on the visor, an oxygen readout, a power readout, must be for the Wrist Computer, and last but not least, is that a shield? holy crap, i got a shield! it must be similar to that of the Master Chief's Shield because its giving the same readout. its also got a slot for an ammo readout for whatever weapon im carrying.
"holy crap this gear is aweso-"
The ship lurched and sent my flying to the floor, a roar could now be heard on the exterior of the ship, we must have just hit the atmosphere. " Winter! how do i get to you? I'm not leaving you here!"
While her voice seemed like it was behind a veil of static i could still make it out " Go to the Holopanel by the door where you came in, Ive already sorted myself into the AI chip there. all you gotta do is pull it, and than slide it into your Wrist Pad, ill than be on your person. After that arm yourself, your suit has a space for 1 pistol and 1 MA5B assault rifle, grab them and a few clips for each, there should be an ammo bag to your left" and sure enough there was a bag there filled with clips for both the pistol and the rifle. i slung the bag over my shoulder and moved on to grab the weapons specified. Afterwords i moved to the holopanel and pulled the chip, than i pushed it into the slot on the Wrist-pad and sure enough her voice filled my ears. "Alright fluffball, we just ran out of time, now that you've gathered everything you can carry you need to RUN! ill mark the way-points on your HUD as we go but that roar your hearing is the atmosphere, meaning we are falling, if we don't launch ASAP we wont survive the landing. don't take time to answer me just GO!"
As she finished her sentence the first way-point lit up on my HUD and i LAUNCHED myself towards it, moving faster than i ever thought possible. The way-point led me to a junction where the way-point moved itself to what appeared to be the escape pod bay. Launching myself through the hallway one of the doors slid open and winter's voice filled my ears again. "GO! through there! slot my chip into the dashboard and strap yourself in, ill handle it from there!"
I quickly slid into the pilot seat and inserted the AI chip into the slot in the dashboard, the Second my harness was fastened i felt the pod LAUNCH forwards at high speeds. Almost immediately after we cleared the Arctic-Freezer we were absolutely bombarded by the fiery inferno that is re-entry, the view-screen was impossible to see out of because of all the red that filled it. "Winter! are you sure you can fly this thing?"
"Of course im sure! don't worry, your just feeling the turbulence, you should be getting a visual on the landing site in a few moments" And sure enough, just moments after being told so, the view-screen cleared up and i was greeted with what looked like a badlands area.
"well shit, that's not an ideal place, especially for an Arctic Fox. i mean its literally the opposite of where im conditioned to be."
"well it could be worse." Winter spoke up "we could have ended up in the ocean for all i knew." wait what? that was seriously something that could have happened? well no point arguing now. As we sped towards the ground i suddenly felt the pod begin to decelerate, than i felt a jerking motion, like if you slam on the brakes in a fast moving car. I brace my arms on the dashboard in-front of me and close my eyes, waiting for the loud bang that would come with a crash-landing. and sure enough, i heard an ridiculously loud KERBLAM, and darkness immediately followed.

I'm so sorry for the long wait! ended up super busy with classes and such and couldn't find much time to write, ended up kicking this chapter aswell as another out before classes started again. Any Landing You Can Walk Away From...
What was supposed to be a joyous occasion was ruined due to a massive attack from the creatures known only as the changelings. Luna was splayed on her side next to her sister Celestia with the element bearers trapped on their sides in a corner by a squadron of the bugs. Chrysalis was bearing down on her sister when suddenly she halted, as if struck. Than she suddenly screamed " WHAT?!?!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN DEMOLISHED?!” “YES I KNOW WHAT DEMOLISHED MEANS BUT HOW DID IT HAPPEN!” she suddenly backed away, as if filled with fear and recognition, as if they had done something she had missed when in reality they were just as clueless as she was just moments ago.
“MY SUBJECTS! SCATTER! OUR HOME HAS BEEN DEMOLISHED BY A SNEAK ATTACK FROM THESE TRICKSTER PONIES!!!!! THEY HAD EVEN ME FOOLED!!!!” and with that she turned and blasted a window, and took to the skies along with her army, desperate to get away from equestria. Luna had guessed what had happened, though every-pony else in the room remained clueless, the spacefarer had made his landing, and it had not been a happy one. Cadence dashed across the room toward shining armor while twilight and her friends tried to gather their strength to stand up. Celestia stood up and looked at her, sudden realization flaring in her eyes, this made sense because earlier the night before she had told Celestia of her meeting with the creature.
Celestia nodded and turned toward the others and raised her voice to be heard “Is every pony all right?” receiving nods from every pony in the room she continued “I think i know what has occurred that made them flee. A colossal ship has crashed into the changeling hive, causing them to scatter. I only recognize this event because last night Luna made contact with the creatures on board this vessel and told me of their meeting, the ship was badly damaged and on a collision course with our planets soil.”
Every pony but Celestia and luna herself was surprised to hear of an alien arrival on their planet, especially twilight, and on this day of all times. " We can count ourselves lucky that the ship chose this day to arrive, but we cannot relax and rebuild yet, there are survivors aboard the craft that must be rescued, for all we know they could be badly injured, and we owe it to them to save them after they unknowingly saved us. I will remain here to oversee repairs while luna and the element bearers journey to the crash site to attempt a search and rescue operation, remember first contact protocol! And good luck every pony. Sister, gather twilight and her friends and come to the throne room. We will prepare you for the operation there.
Meanwhile in the escape pod...
The first sense of consciousness hit my ears as a loud ringing noise as i slowly opened my eyes to see the view-screen had completely shattered, but otherwise the pod seemed fine. " Fluff-ball! Fluff-ball! Wake up!” I let out a groan and lift my arm to grab the AI chip and put it back in the, in the... FUCK IT im just gonna call it the codex. I reach out my arm and grab her chip, than insert it into the Codex, as i do so i hear my earpiece click as she channels her voice through its speaker.
" Thank goodness your OK, we made it down but the rest of the ship seems to have crashed into something. I don’t know what it hit but its definitely made something angry. We cant stay here. Secure your gear and get going.” After nodding in acknowledgement i reach for the harness holding me in the seat and unclick it, letting it fall to the side. I turned and stood up, grabbing the strap for the ammo pack as i passed. Crawling to the back hatch of the pod and prying it open i turned and halted, completely shocked, for what stood on the horizon was the wreckage of the ship that Winter once called home.
“holy shit, Thats the ship we were in?!” I exclaimed, completely surprised. I honestly hadn’t expected the ship to be so big. Looking across the wreckage i felt the full weight of dread hit my stomach as i realized what we had to do, we couldn’t run the other direction, we had to go in there, because everything we would need to survive here would likely be in that wreckage, even if somethings broken its still useful, because something that’s broken can be fixed. Although im not sure i can fix that big a ship i can probably fix some of the equipment INSIDE it.
“yep, that’s the arctic freezer, but see those black spots? I don’t want to find out what they are, we should leave.”
" im afraid not Winter.”
“wait wha-”
“its not an argument winter, we don’t have a choice, all the equipment we need to survive out here is in that wreckage, and like it or not we arn’t gonna get far without it.”
It was silent for a moment as she processed what i just said, for a second i felt kinda bad, but than i mentally slapped myself. What else could i have done? Lied and said everything would be fine and walk away? No! She may not like it but me being honest with her is my best chance at earning both her trust and respect, and i couldn’t exactly walk in there without telling her all that. " Your right, i don’t know what i was thinking. Hang-on, some of your suit systems still haven’t booted yet. I’m going to begin a system diagnostic, hold on.”
As she said that i watched as my HUD winked out, than one by one icons appeared on the middle of the Visor and moved to their respective corner, the Shield Icon moved straight up and transformed into a Half Full bar that slowly started filling. A rifle icon winked in and moved to the bottom right of the Visor, than winked into a Sideways T Chart, Displaying both the MA5B rifle and its ammo count, and the Magnum Pistol and its ammo readout, the pistol on the bottom and the rifle on the top. Than a radar icon appeared, wait radar? That’s new! Guess that’s what she meant by not being fully booted yet. The radar moved to the bottom left and boosted in size, than the bar started spinning around like a radar normally would, than a green apple icon appeared at the center of the visor, than moved to the top left of the HUD and split into another sideways T chart with an apple on the top left corner, the top right of the Sideways T Chart filled with a green bar about 89% of the way across, i know this because it also spat out a percentage. “Huh, guess the suit detects my Vital signs.”
A water droplet icon appeared and also went to the top left, the droplet split from the blue icon and went to the bottom left of the sideways T chart while the blue splashed into the bottom right and filled it 90% of the way. Than a battery icon appeared and moved to the top right of the HUD, it also split into a Bar, sitting at around 79% full.
" Alright your suit seems to be fully operational now, just be careful, the battery usage increases when its trying to recharge the shields.” Makes sense to me, just gotta be careful. Drawing the MA5B Assault rifle from its magnetic holster on my back i started my long march to the wreckage, keeping fast and low to avoid whatever those black things flying around are. To our relief as time went by and we got closer and closer, we watched as the creatures drew further and further away from the wreckage, guess we crashed into their home and their scattering. Phew! For a second i thought we were gonna have to, WHAM! one of the black things SMASHED into me and sent me flying back, and in the tussle i dropped the rifle, shit. I quickly got to my feet and drew my Pistol, swinging around toward the red dot behind me and aiming straight between their eyes. Holy shit this thing looks like luna, but its much bigger and its got holes all around, its glowing green eyes blazing with anger it turned to address me. " WHO ARE YOU? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY HIVE!” well, shit.

After saying our goodbyes to the ponies they flew off in their chariot and went home. But even after having loaded up and repaired the pelican i felt like we should stay longer, just in-case there was anymore of that technology that was teleported into the ship along with me. I pitched the idea to Winter and she seemed chill about it, i guess it makes sense that she would though, anyways we began searching the front end of the ship, starting with the cargo bay, we split up and began going up and down the different shelves looking for anything that might be similar to the tech or anything to hint about how it got here. Eventually i found a long and small case with a digital panel that had a paw print on it, similar to the pads on my hands. Paws. Wait hands? Screw it lets go with hands, either way it matched my paw pads, so i put my hand up to it and it scanned it, And sure enough the panel glowed a bright green and it opened up. Inside the case sat a sword,
"Holy shit this things awesome!" i mean for goodness sake its an actual proper sword! And it seemed so familiar too. Reaching down i picked it up in my hands and held it as if i had held it a thousand times before. I swear it feels like I've wielded this thing my whole life even though i know for a fact this is the first time I've seen it. After setting it back in the case i closed it and grabbed it by the handle. Walking through the cargo bay i spotted something else, A small hard-case which had a similar lock to the sword case.
Putting my hand on the Electronic Lock, fuck it no that's to long, the EL for short screw it. I put my hand on the EL and it popped open revealing a small titanium knife that i swear i recognized from somewhere.
Either way it was a knife, I pulled it out of the case and attached it to the magnetic holster on my chest, the one for magazines or knifes. After that was done i kept on walking, and walking, and walking. After having found nothing for a while i went back to the door to find winter waiting there with, holy shit that's the snow-fox from subnautica!

Holy shit this thing is awesome! "Where the heck did you find that?"
"Down that way" She pointed to the other half of the storage room. "Why, do you know what it is?"
"Hell yeah i know what that is! Its a Snow-Fox!!! Its a hover-bike!
"oh! well than im glad i found it! I'll get it loaded up than we can get out of here."
"nah, i think i wanna stay until tomorrow morning, its getting late and i don't wanna fly in the dark. I don't trust my abilities that much."
"oh! ok than. ill load this up and find a charge port for the night, see ya in the morning frosty!"
"see ya winter!"
I waved as she walked away, I wasn't totally lying, it is getting dark and i don't trust my flying abilities that much, but i feel like there's something important here that im missing. I doubt im gonna find it but it'll make me feel better if i search a little longer. I'll sleep in an hour, for now im gonna keep looking."
Back on the Chariot
"luna?"
"yes twilight?"
"why didn't you tell us you knew that guy? i mean we knew you knew about the ship but you talked with him like you'd known each other for a while."
"While i can see why you would think that no i have not known him all that long, in fact i just met him the other night. Its quite the crisis he's in."
"oh, well how did you meet him? i thought this was first contact."
"well technically it is first contact, i didn't meet him in person, i met him in a dream after he had been knocked unconscious by a blow to the head."
"oh, that makes sense i guess. though i would like to know more."
Before twilight could ask anymore questions they arrived at ponyville, and twilight and her friends had to disembark the chariot.
"goodbye twilight, until next time"
"of course luna, safe travels!"
And with that the chariot continued off towards canterlot, leaving a very frustrated twilight sparkle to turn the gears in her head. But with no way to get the answers she wanted she just shook her head and trotted off towards the library.

Settling In/The Crystal Empire -1
Several Days after we decided to stay in the ship for a while scavenging for parts and technology we managed to find a few things, such as a Warthog, An untouched armory, with all the weapons inside untouched, rocket launchers, battle rifles, assault rifles, shotguns, etc, etc, Basically we're loaded on weaponry now. We actually managed to seal a bunch of the holes in the ship and get some of the plumbing working. Turns out we aren't leaving, we're turning this ship into our command center. We managed to find an empty hangar that was stuck shut, we turned that into a workshop for weapons and stuff, and it turns out the encrypted shit on my Arm Tablet thing was a whole bunch of blueprints. Stuff from different games and movies and shit from my old life. I honestly cant believe half this shit exists here.
For example in the workshop we got the fabricator from subnautica set up, aswell as a modification station. We got 3d Printers from that one movie that i cant remember the name to, we got nano-tech from Iron Man, we got blueprints for spaceships like the tempest from mass effect Andromeda, and the eagle from elite dangerous, though we don't have the facilities to construct them here. We got solar panels made from parts of the wreckage outside in the dusty fields of the badlands generating all our power, and we got rechargeable power-cells hooked up to them for when it turns night or when a dust storm happens. We got the hangar door where we park the pelican fixed up, it opens and closes now. We managed to find an empty room, i don't know what was originally in there but Winters up there turning it into a sorta command room, basically where all our info is kept and where we can control everything in the ship, She's gonna build a router there so she can access it remotely whenever she needs to and she's gonna connect my tablet to it so that i can control the hangar doors from my person. She managed to get the communications array back online by sticking a tower up on top of the wreck, i don't know how she did it because she did so while i was asleep but its there now.
She also managed to get a short range radar going, that way if anything comes near the wreck an intruder alarm goes off and the security system pops on, locking down the doors and activating a few turrets on the outside of the ship I managed to get going. Basically everything is sunshine and rainbows right no-
INTRUDER ALERT INTRUDER ALERT
"OH FOR FUCK SAKE!!!!! WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN?"
Grabbing my rifle and sliding on my helmet i made a dash for the outdoor sensor that had been tripped. Hopping out one of the holes we hadn't sealed yet i keep on running until i spot something in the sky. A fucking chariot. Clicking my radio I ping winter "Winter turn off the alarms!"
"The guns to?"
"YES THE GUNS TO! ITS THE PONIES!"
"oh! understood! The guns are down!"
Firing a round straight up I basically lit up my position, The ponies veered towards me and came to a skidding halt, and out of the chariot hopped a very familiar bunch of ponies, the pink one, the blue one, the orange one, the yellowish one, the drake, the white one, and twilight sparkle.
"Goddamn it Twilight do you have any idea about the scare you just gave me?"
"What do you mean Frosty?"
"Did you not hear the goddamn alarms?!"
"OH! that's what those were? sorry we were just coming to ask you for some help."
"oh forget it, what do you need help with?"
"Ive been given a mission to save the crystal empire. And since you obviously have experience in combat i figured you would be a good ally to have along on the mission."
okay what?! Save the Crystal Empire? what is she talking about? "okay, for one, im not a gun for hire, for two what in the world is the crystal empire, and three, why does it need saving?"
"The Crystal Empire was a country of ponies that went missing forever ago after being taken over by king sombra, an evil tyrant. But its just appeared again, And it looks like sombra came with it. So I've been tasked to save it, I'm bringing all my friends and i figured I'd ask you along aswell since you might know more about fighting kings than me, since you beat a queen and all."
Okay i guess that makes sense, wait did she say disappeared and re appeared, with someone who disappeared with it came back with it? now THAT Sounds like a familiar topic. "Disappeared and re appeared huh?"
"yeah, wait do you know something about that?"
"Sounds like a T,D,B"
Twilight seemed to recoil at this, "What the heck is a T,D,B?"
"A Time Displacement Bubble, its an acronym" I replied.
Twilight's friends all seemed confused, Very confused, though the pink one looked as if she understood everything i just said, Twilight however still had questions.
"What the heck is a Time Displacement Bubble?!?!"
"Exactly what it sounds like, a bubble of space that has been displaced in time. Something took the crystal empire, and sent it forward in time. Which to me is VERY fascinating since where im from this kind of thing is ENTIRELY theoretical! i cant wait to get up close and personal with this place."
Twilight although bewildered managed to register the last sentence. "Wait so your coming?"
"heck yeah im coming! a bad guy to be fought, a fantastical phenomenon to be studied AND an entire empire made of CRYSTAL? there's no fucking way in the nine rings of hell that im missing this sure to be shit-show! Though I suggest we take a faster method of travel."
"well at-least you seem excited, wait what kind of method?"
"The Spaceship kind, Ya see I've been busy since you last visited."
After tapping my Tablet a few times i sent winter a text to remote control the pelican to my location. I saw a hangar door open in the distance and pointed.
"what is that?" the blue one asked.
"that my Pegasus friend, is a spaceship." I said as the pelican flew towards us, did a circle, and than landed around 30 meters away. "by the way whats everybody's name? i never learned them"
"I'm Rainbow Dash! the fastest creature in the sky!"
I give a MASSIVE laugh at this.
"whats so funny?"
"Lets just say your about to be proven VERY wrong! anyways what about everybody else?"
"im Fluttershy" replied the yellow one.
"I'M PINKIE PIE! NICE TO MEAT YA!!!!!" Replied the very energetic pink one.
"My name is Applejack" replied a southern voice from the orange one.
"My name is Rarity" replied the white one.
"And my name is spike!" said the drake.
Well that's a collective bunch, guess these guys are kinda like the main group in this place. "Well its nice to meat all of you! now what do you say we load up?" getting a collective cheer from everyone i began to help them into the back of the drop-ship, and than give them a crash course on how to use the fucking harnesses since they're fucking HORSES.
Either way after getting the directions from twilight we were on our way to the Crystal Empire, And I only brought a Single mag for the AR and a fucking sword, this is gonna go fucking great.

WELP here we go! finally getting my ass in gear with this story. I hope you all enjoy! im gonna try and get their personalities a little better but i make no promises, im bad at writing characters from existing shows because i always feel like im being clumsy with how they're acting versus how they're actually meant to act. Anyways let me know what you think and if i missed anything in my twice over the chapter, and if i messed up a little bit to much on their personalities. The Queen Of The Changelings/Packing up/Name Picking
“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY HIVE!” well, shit.
" I didn’t do anything! I swear! I had absolutely no control over it! Something happened to the ship! All i could do was get out before it hit the ground! I swear i didn’t know we were gonna hit anything!” This seemed to calm its burning rage, but that rage turned to thoughtfulness.
“So this wasn’t a sneak attack, they knew nothing of it.” Wait who are they? Who is this bug talking about? Before i could continue my train of thought it spoke again. “My name is Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings. What should i address you as creature?” Goddamn it.
“I’m sorry mam, I’ve been having a sort of memory issue even before the crash, i don’t know my name, but as far as im aware I’ve been addressed as Fluffball.” This seemed to puzzle her, actually she seemed dead confused, i could practically see the gears turning in her head.
“Why?”
“I’m sorry?”
“Why are you called fluffball? You have no fur.”
“OH! Right! Almost forgot. This isn’t my skin mam, this is a suit im wearing over top it. I assure you i have WAY to much fur underneath the suit.”
Immediately after this clicked in her head she turned hostile again. “Though you may not be personally responsible for the destruction of my hive somebody shall bear the blame, and no survivors were found among your so called “ship”.”
Immediately after she finished her sentence her horn started to glow a sickly green, almost dripping down to the dusty ground. Realizing what was happening just in time i dove to the side, quickly coming back up and pointing my gun at her head, and let loose 2 bullets. One whizzed right on past her while the other sparked off her horn. Letting out a roar of agony she reeled back and launched 2 more blasts at me, not moving in time one blasted across my chest, launching me backwards and draining my shields by half. While the other completely missed. Quickly taking stock i realized that in the fight i had dropped the ammo back somewhere, and i only had 3 shots left in the mag.
Rolling back with the momentum i ended on my feet and lifted my pistol again, letting off 2 more shots. Again the first shot whizzed past her head, while the other shot also hit her horn, but this time hitting it dead on and lodging inside of it. I could tell she tried to use her magic but found it blocked by the damage the bullet had done. Walking up to her i raised my gun to her head. " Go ahead, do it.” she said weakly, but instead of pulling the trigger I moved the gun to the magnetic holster and clicked it on. “I’m not a monster, I’m just a fox. I didn’t come here to kill anyone, I promise you that. And as i said all this was a complete accident. Crawl to your subjects little queen. But know that you cant beat me. Try again, and lets just say, Second chances don’t come easy.”
Stepping away from the now injured queen I collected my Rifle and holstered it. And than i went over to the ammo bag and slung it over my shoulder again. Opening the zipper i pulled out a pistol mag, Pressing the release the old mag fell out of the pistol, I bent down to pick it up and put it in the bag. “With how we are now, we cant afford to waste ammunition. Even if its just a single bullet.” Sliding the zipper shut i holstered the magnum and continued the march to the ship.
Half An Hour Later
The Front end of the Arctic Freezer looms on my right as i walk around the Wreck/Hive. I’ve officially spent the last 5-10 minutes looking for a viable way in, until suddenly i spot something. Jogging up to the jagged wall i smile. “Hey Winter.”
“Yeah fluffball?”
“wanna bet i can climb this?”
“it certainly seems stable enough.”
“welp, im gonna give it a shot.”
“good luck fluffball! I'm gonna keep looking through the files on this codex, its all strongly encrypted. I’m gonna see if i can crack it.”
“good luck to you too than Winter. I’m gonna see if i can get us in. Once we’re in though your gonna have to point me towards a ship manifest or something.”
“Well, there might be something.”
I perk up at that. “Hmm?”
“Well the box that your suit was in wasn’t originally there, you weren’t originally on the ship either. I figured I’d ask you about that later on but you mentioned earlier something about a memory loss.”
“yep,” I respond. “I know i died or something and ended up in this body, but i don’t have any idea how this body got on that ship. And stuff from my previous life is starting to fade a little. If i can i wanna start writing stuff down, but it’d need a book to do that.”
“wow!” she exclaimed “so you really have no idea how you or that stuff got there?”
“nope! In fact i don’t know anything about myself now, i don’t even know my own name. I know i had a name before but i don’t remember it, and i doubt it would even apply to who i am now.” I lean on the wall as we talk, guessing we are probably gonna be here for a while.
“well, im not all that creative but i cant keep on calling you fluffball. So how about i name you?”
“You name me? Well, i guess its not totally out of the question. But i want you to wait a while.”
“what? Why?”
“well, I figure it would be best to name me based on who i am now, based on how i acted in my last life and how i act now, well its safe to say there’s drastic differences. I want a name that stands for who i find myself to be in the next few days, not how i am now, not how i was than.”
“That seems fair, alright i can wait. You should probably get moving, we cant sit out here in the open all day, plus we got work to do.”
“that we do winter, that we do.”And with that I use my hand to grab on to the first piece of jagged rock and i pull as hard as i can, only to find that it was actually pretty easy. “Huh, kinda expected climbing a rock wall to be harder, eh its probably just a slope.”
“Actually fluffball, that’s a 90 Degree angle. Your going straight up. Your saying its easy?”
Wait 90 degrees? Holy shit. “Yeah,” huh guess im still learning things about myself. “Welp, no time to question that now, new me is probably in alot better shape than old me, ha.” I give a little laugh at my joke, though i wasn’t completely joking. Feeling my muscles tight under the suit i can already tell im way stronger than i was before. Anyways back to the task at hand.
One rock at a time i quickly moved up the wall, reaching the top i put my paw on the ledge and heave myself up, only to find myself accidentally doing a one arm hand stand. “Uh, i didn’t mean to do this but screw it, style points!” With that i push off with my arm and do a little flip in the air, landing on my paws i stand up and look at my arm. “OK, i totally didn’t mean to do that, did me trying to pull myself up give me enough momentum to end up vertical facing the other direction? Damn, i must not know my own strength yet. Gonna have to be careful not to use to much strength and accidentally break something.”
Giving a nod as if agreeing with myself i push onward. Only to come to a complete stop, about 3 feet above me is a broken hanger door, on side half slid open while the other side is all the way in the middle giving enough space for 2 people side by side to walk in. Doing a little fist-bump i bunch my legs and launch myself up, trying to use slightly less strength just in case my legs are awesome to. And wouldn’t ya know it i didn’t even need to use my arms, i arced perfectly up into the gap and landed on my feet inside the ship. Guess i ended up in some sort of vehicle bay.
Sitting on the landing platform in front of me, though it was slightly tilted and its rear right landing stilt seemed broken, sat what looked like a ship. Suddenly it clicked in my mind what it was, and why i recognize it. Holy shit that’s the pelican from halo 3! Did game universes from my old life combine to create whatever the heck this universe is? If so than what if the covenant is here? Well shit, gonna have to worry about that later. “Winter, how broken is that drop-ship?”
“Scanning” After a few moments she replied back. “That drop-ship seems almost fully operational, aside from a broken landing stilt, which can easily be repaired, its perfectly flyable.
“good, because that’s gonna be our ride out of this wreck, if we do this right we can load up everything we need into that ship and fly somewhere relatively safe. Just gotta fix that stilt and find a way to open that door.”
“that’s. A surprisingly good plan”
“what, you thought that just because im fluffy and adorable means im not smart? Ha! No. I'm pretty crafty when i need to be.” Walking around to the back of the ship I crouch down to get a good look at the broken stilt. “Huh, looks like the hydraulics snapped from the pressure of the landing. Cant really blame it.”
“that’s, actually accurate. How do you know so much about this kind of thing?” Wow, shes actually surprised i know this stuff?
“well back in my old life i had hobby’s, and 2 of my favorite hobby’s were mechanics, and aviation.” This seemed to satisfy her as she didn’t raise any more questions. Well this is the kinda thing that would need replaced at some point, so the ship has to have some replacement parts for it around here somewhere. “Winter can you make a to-do list?”
“sure! What do you need me to add to it?”
“Number one, find replacement part for the landing stilt on the pelican drop-ship. Number 2 replace said part on the pelican drop-ship. Number 3, figure out a way to open the door. Number 4, scavenge any and all resources we need whether their parts weapons ammo food or just normal supplies. Number 5 Fly out of the wreckage and find someplace safe to land and set up camp. And that’s about it for now.”
“got it! To do list made, you can access it on your codex, for now im gonna focus on decoding all this information. There should be a cargo manifest for the ship on the panel by the door to storage.”
“thanks winter! Good luck decoding that, it could be useful. I'm gonna go find us some shit.” And with that i entered the hallway that had a sign on the floor that said STORAGE and than pointed in a direction.
A good 5 minutes later i had found the storage room and opened up the panel that said Cargo Manifest on it. I than proceeded to spend the next hour and a half scrolling through it, noting locations of food water power-cells aswell as the replacement part i needed for the pelican. Having Winter place a way-point on each location in the storage room as i go.
A good 5 minutes later i come across this thing that peaked my interest, something called the Multi-Bot. Prompting Winter she replied saying that that definitely hadn’t been there before, it must be one of those things that arrived with me. Agreeing with her i had her mark it on my HUD, guessing that i can take a look at it before i begin loading everything else onto the pelican.
It took me a few minutes to get over to it but when i walked up it was obvious which box contained the thing, mainly because it was the only snow white box there with neon blue text reading MULTI-BOT on the side. Putting my hand on the screen it scanned it, and than dinged with a green flash. Huh, guess its keyed into my hand-print, cool! Sliding the top off i looked down at it and grinned like a kid in a candy store. “WOW! This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!”
The Multi-Bot had a curvaceous obviously female figure. Its digitigrade legs with hooked knees ending in metal hooves, up towards its thighs the metal seemed to part, allowing me to see underneath the plating, holy shit this thing must be strong, i mean look at those hydraulics! Between the legs a slim tail matching that of a cartoon demon tail, i mean look at its tip! That’s straight up a spade! Its torso was slim and its chest was flat save for the upside down triangle that seemed to be its power source. Its fore arms were sleek in their design, the palm of its hand had a circle on it, not quite sure what it does but it obviously does something, up towards its head it didn’t have a face. Just a sleek head matching the head of a stalker from the game P.A.M.E.L.A. Also in the box laid A paper with instructions on it.
Opening the paper pamphlet i began to read aloud. “This Multi-bot can be used for construction of equipment and buildings, aswell as transport of heavy cargo. Its able to lift a maximum of 2 Tons. It can be remote controlled but in the back of its head lays a slot for an AI Chip. Huh, that’s convenient. So according to this you can be slotted into this thing Winter! How would you like to have your own body?”
She was silent for a moment, contemplating her choice carefully. “I would absolutely love to have my own body! And this way i can help you better with physical labor! I can always decrypt this stuff later. Sign me up fluffball!”
Reaching around i take the AI Chip out of the Codex and than lift up the head of the Multi-Bot, Reaching behind it i find the slot and plug Winters chip into it. Setting it back down i look back to the instructions. “To power on, flip the small switch above the AI Chip slot on the back of the head, ok simple enough.” Reaching behind the head again i find the switch and push it, and the whole bot started to whir as power flowed through it.
“woah, this feels weird!” woah, is it just me or does she sound even MORE feminine in that thing? Maybe its just the speakers or something.
“how do you feel winter?”
“I feel great actually!”
As she finished her response she began to sit up in her new body. The front plate on the head turned pitch black and a neon blue feminine face appeared on it, anime eyes and everything. “Woah! So this is how you experience the world.”
“yep! Try standing up.”
I heard the hydraulics in her legs hiss as she went to stand, swinging her new legs over the side of the box she stood up, immediately the tail shot backwards, hah, guess she’s gotta use it to keep upright.
“its a little strange but I’ll get used to it.”
“ready to get to work?”
“hell yeah i am!”
And with that we both walked off towards the manifest station. Turns out she still had access to my suit and codex from the bot, like Bluetooth or something, so she could still give me way-points and stuff. Deciding to split the workload i started walking towards my half of the storage room while she went off towards her half.
About 4 hours later we had fixed the pelicans stilt and completely loaded it with parts and supplies. And let me tell ya I was EXHAUSTED. Winter told me i could take a nap while she figured a way to open the hangar bay doors. I handed her my pistol and told her to wake me if something happened. And with that i climbed into the back of the pelican and laid down on the floor.
“Fluffball wake-up!”
“GAH!” I shoot up onto my feet and run out the back of the ship, jumping out with a stylish roll if i do say so myself i turned towards Winter to see she had the pistol i gave her drawn and pointed out the now wide open door.
running up i called out “Winter what happened!”
“i had just finished opening the door when i spotted them coming straight for us!”
I turned to what she was pointing at and squinted, and to my surprise my visor zoomed in, huh must be linked to me somehow, questions for another time though. Looking through the scope i let out a deep breath and relax.
“chill out Winter they're friendly!”
“how do you know!?”
“I spoke to the blue one in my dream! She’s friendly! They’re probably here to look for survivors!”
What i had said clearly confused her, and to be honest i don’t blame her, i hardly understand it myself. But either way as they flew closer they changed course, heading for the open hangar door.
A few moments later a golden chariot pulled by 2 white Pegasus ponies pulled up to the hangar, barely able to fit into the space on the floor beneath the landing pad. A tall blue horse i recognize as Luna aswell as 7 others i don’t recognize stepped out of the chariot. All of them clearly on alert, The light blue Pegasus seemed off-put by me and Winter. Shit i should probably say something.
“uh, hiya! Welcome aboard the Arctic Freezer! Or, uh, whats left of it at-least!”
All of them seemed to calm down because of my friendly welcome, although luna looked confused, scanning the room for something. Than i realized that when we met in the dream realm i was completely nude. Wait, shit, i was nude when i met her. That’s embarrassing. Welp guess i gotta take this sweet ass helmet off now.
Un-clicking my helmet it depressurized with a hiss, and i got my first taste of fresh air on my tongue. Luna’s eyes flashed in recognition and she began to walk up, seeming much more calm now that she’s seen my face.
“I almost didn’t recognize you in that suit of yours, it looks comfortable.”
“it really is! Its super high tech too.”
The purple unicorn seemed extra confused now, walking up behind luna she looked at me and back to her.
“why are you two talking as if you’ve known each other for a while, i thought this was first contact!”
“Why hello there purple one, your technically right! This is first contact for you! But me and luna met in the dream realm while i was still up in space. So technically we do know each other, just not all that well.”
“oh. Well that makes more sense. Anyways, my name is Twilight Sparkle! Whats your name?”
Oof, again with the name thing. “Well, i don’t have one yet, that’s the confusing part about this, i have a sort of, memory problem. Stuff is slipping away faster than i can recall it, while my skills and instinct are sticking around everything else is sorta hazy. Everything from when i woke up in space though is clear and crisp, the older ones though are acting like they arnt my memories, although technically the arnt, they’re the old me’s memory’s. See I’ve been sorta re incarnated into this body and everything is sorta unclear at the moment, not set in stone you dig? If you want any of your questions answered your best bet would be my friend Winter over there, say hello winter!’
To my surprise she actually seemed to understand everything i just said, the same however cant be said for her friends. They were all looking at me with deep confusion in their eyes. Accept for the pink one, the pink one also seemed to get it. Twilight gave a nod and trotted off to talk with Winter, and the two dived into a deep conversation. Meanwhile me and luna continued ours.
“well my friend it seems like you did ok in getting down alive.”
“well i almost didn’t, got ambushed on the way to the ship from the escape pod.”
This seemed to concern her greatly. “Ambushed?”
“well it turns out we accidentally crushed a bug hive in the landing, that’s what we’re sitting on, and the queen wasn’t to happy. She came at me wanting retribution or some shit, i kicked her ass and sent her scrambling for her subjects. She wont be showing her face anytime soon.
Luna’s eyes widened, and i mean widened, like in an anime when the main character is super surprised.”YOU DEFEATED CHRYSALIS?!?!” she yelled, drawing the attention of everybody in the room.
“i mean, yea? I mean she wasn’t all that tough, i mean she got a few good hits in don’t get me wrong but it wasn’t exactly all that hard to get rid of her. Why? Is that surprising?”
Everything was silent for a few moments, until finally twilight spoke up. “Chrysalis nearly wiped out Canterlot! How in the name of Celestia did you defeat her?!”
I hesitated for a few moments, until i drew my pistol, and grabbed it by its barrel. “With this, i mean its the smallest caliber here, it was pretty easy, only took like, 4 shots? And i missed 2 of them.”
Everybody save for winter seemed to back up from me, as if i was holding the most powerful weapon they’ve ever seen. “Wait you guys seriously had trouble with her? Come on you just gotta dodge the lasers and shoot the horn. I mean for goodness sake.”
Luna to her credit actually seemed to take this as a credible answer.”if you managed to temporarily disable the use of her magic i can see how you would have won the fight. Are you sure you will be fine here?”
“Actually we were just about to leave. We don’t exactly want to live on top of a ruined changeling hive and we just finished loading up this smaller ship here, we cant go back to space with it loaded how it is and even if we could it cant make slip-space jumps so we’re kinda stranded here. I was honestly planning on looking for you once we got in the sky.”
Luna nodded, accepting my answer.”in that case fly north from here, but turn slightly west. There will be a city on a mountain and a village below it, the village is known as ponyville, it is where twilight and her friends live. Land somewhere out of sight though, the ponies there are very xenophobic and it takes a while for them to trust some-pony they don’t know is safe.
“Understood, Hey Winter! Take note of those directions!”
“Already done!”
“Alrighty than, you guys have a safe flight than, we’re probably gonna beat you there, it probably wont be hard to spot the ship when you land.”
This seemed to confuse Twilight but before she could speak her pink friend piped up. “OH OH WE CAN THROW YOU A WELCOME TO PONYVILLE PARTY!!! WAIT NO IT SHOULD BE A WELCOME TO OUR PLANET PARTY!!!!! WAIT!!!! A DOUBLE PAR-”
“PINKIE PIEEEEEEEEEEE” Twilight interrupted, to the thankfulness of my ears. “Sorry about that mister, she can be like that, im just worried about how she’s gonna struggle with the party with you having no name and all.”
“Actually!” Winter piped up. “I think i know a good name for you!”
“you do? Well than im all ears!” I say pointing to my ears, hoping some-pony gets the joke about the big ears.
“How about Frosty!”
“Frosty?”
“Well, when you confronted Chrysalis you were stone cold, almost fearless, but when you interact with friendly creatures like me and these pony’s your super kind and cheerful, and back home there was a holiday celebrated in the frostiest time of the year about being super kind and cheerful. So i took the stone cold bit and the cheerful bit and came up with frosty!”
“that’s, actually pretty good! I like it! In that case, every pony! Call me Frosty! Frosty the Arctic Fox!”
