The Great and Powerful Mommy is home! My kids jump around, excited to see what I brought home today. "What'd ya bring us today Mommy?" Jellybean asks.
"I'm gonna get my cutie mark soon I bet Mommy, did ya know!" Moonlight shouted, running in circles, trying to see her flank.
"Sure will. Mommy, I aced my spelling bee! I won with the word vocabulary!" Heather Bee said up and down, waving an award in my face.
I tried to juggle it all at once. "ALRIGHT! Jellybean, I brought home school supplies only. Moonlight, I'd keep waiting. Cutie marks show up whenever they want. Heather Bee, good work!" Single parenting is hard.
Heather Bee nods, and then returns to her homework. Moonlight is still jumping, and Jellybean is coloring with some crayons. I turn on the TV, flick to the news, and just sit there. Two accidents, Twilight Sparkle junk, celebrity has twins, Fancypants confirms engagement, random trash. Since when did the news just contain trash. I'm about to change it when I see something about my ex-husband.
"It is confirmed that Prince Blueblood will make a debut back on the socail scene this November, after his recent break up with Amythest Star. He has no comment."
