Summer Vacation had finally arrived and the Students of Canterlot High School were as excited as ever to go do all the things they've been waiting to do all summer; Camping, hanging out at the mall, going to the beach, playing video games, or just lazing about their houses. However none were more excited about the summer than Rainbow Dash and Alex Bronson, the two had been friends since kindergarten and began a tradition of doing a special or unusual activity that would define the summer.

"This Summer is going to be awesome!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she jumped and shredded an air guitar.

"You got that right pal" Alex said as he just casually walked by his friend grinning from ear to ear "so, what super amazing, awesome, summer defining activity are we going to do this year?"

Rainbow suddenly stopped and began to ponder, she hadn't really thought of it, they've been doing this for so long that it felt like they had done everything. "huh, you know, for once I'm not sure." she finally said.

"Well that's a first" Alex said in a surprised voice, usually RD had stuff figured out well in advance when it came to this, then again this year had been quite a trying one, what with the battle of the bands and what not. "maybe we could go to the Carnival again" he suggested

"No Way Man! remember the rule" Rainbow exclaimed. "Never do the same thing twice, each activity has to be unique."

"Well we've done everything from going camping to roller blading to going on a three week long pranking campaign with Pinkie" Alex chuckled at the last one he mentioned, that had been a fun year of whoopee cushions, teepees, and prank calls.

The two friends began to stop and think about what they wanted to do. one thing stuck out in Alex 's mind was one he was nervous to suggest, he wanted to go on a date with Rainbow Dash. he had begun to have a crush on the lead guitarist of the Rainbooms since the beginning of the school year, every time she got real close to him his face got heated. in gym class when she did her exercises he always felt a flood of heat going to his nether regions, he had begun to have dreams about her. dreams that would best not to be discussed with friends. now he had a chance to do it, technically it would be a unique activity since they would be going on a date right?

"I GOT IT!!!

Both of their voices seemed to mesh together as they shouted with their fingers in the air. suddenly they stopped for a second and looked at each other.

"You go first" Alex said

Rainbow shook her head "no no, you shouted first you go ahead"

"No by all means ladies first." Alex insisted.

"No You first" said Rainbow, a bit more irritably

"You. First. I insist" Alex said with a bit more force. the two's competitive streak was starting to get the better of them.

"Look if we keep doing this we're going to be here all day" Rainbow said. "so i propose an alternative" reaching into her pocket she pulled out a quarter "heads we do what you want, tails we do what i want"

"Fair enough, lets do this" Alex said with a smirk, mentally crossing his fingers that the coin lands on heads.

The coin flipped into the air, spinning for what seemed like an eternity. Finally the coin landed in Rainbow's palm, she then slapped it on the back of her hand. she slowly began to lift her hand before putting it back down.

"Remember" Rainbow reminded. "whichever side the coin lands on we have to do it no matter what got it?"

Alex nodded "yeah yeah I got it. now please show the coin the suspense is killing me."

The cyan-haired girl slowly lifted her hand to reveal........Tails.

"YES I WON!! OH YEAH, UH UH, RAINBOW FOR THE WIN!!" Rainbow shouted as she began doing a moon walk and a other little jigs before running to Alex and leaning her face close to his. "so... you ready for the activity i have planned" she said in a somewhat seductive voice, batting her eyelashes.

Alex froze for a minute and began to blush , praying that Rainbow didn’t see his erection "well... I uh... I mean... that is..." Come on You Idiot just say yes, and her face is close this could be your chance to steal a kiss. Suddenly Rainbow backed up and smiled.

"I'll take your stuttering as a yes." she laughed "well in any case i have to set things up, so we can't hang until then ok?"

Alex was surprised, what could possibly be so great that she would need a lot of time for herself? "well when can I hang out with you!?" he called to Dash as she walked away.

"I'll shoot you a text don't worry about it!" she called back as she walked to her car. "see you in a bit cutie" she then got in her car and drove off. meanwhile Alex's cheeks flushed red, he thanked Celestia she had not bothered to look down at his pants when she was real close to him. then he slowly walked to his car and drove off with the same blush thinking She Called me Cutie, Rainbow Dash thinks I'm Cute. He wondered what crazy she had planned for them.
