Moving up slowly six rose up from his bed, when did he fall asleep? Didn't matter he at least earned a little shut-eye after nearly two weeks without rest and fighting off aliens non-stop that were hunting him down as if he was a fox in a fox hunt. Getting off the bed Six walked over to the bathroom as he pulled down the hood to the duster before turning on the light to the open sink. Turning on the water he reached and grabbed his Mark V(b) helmet and removed it placing it down on the sink before holding out his hand under the water. He threw the water on his face as the water help with the effects of just waking up but the moment he began to rub his face he felt something. 'What the hell?' Confused Six held his face before looking up and the sight that he saw caused him to gasp in shock and take a step back. ... Looking back at him from the mirror was the same dressed spartan III but his face? His face on the other hand was that of a canine. Reaching towards his face as he held his muzzle in shock before looking towards his hand, like a spell being lifted he saw that his hand was now clawed and less human and the gloved tops of the gloves were covered in metal claws. That made six wounder while he turned his head and lifted the back of his duster and sure enough there it was a tail connected to where a human tail bone would be, though it was covered slightly in a part of the nerve suit and was armored with a blade tip at the end. Confused he held his short muzzle before turning towards his helmet it was unchanged still the same helmet he wore when he was a human than how was he able to wear it. Bring the helmet back over his head he placed it back on him but somehow the helmet slipped over his wolf-like muzzle with six remained fine. Placing his hand over his faceplate and waved it around feeling nothing where his muzzle would be, confused six could still feel his muzzle under his helmet after realizing he had it. Could this be death's work? Why couldn't death have warned him about becoming a wolf-like creature before sending him here? Also, how was his helmet holding his newly shaped head? ... Death did say magic was in this world. Could be something to do with that. Still, Six looked up at his mirror image before exhaling turning he turned off the bathroom light and walked over to the bed looking at the alarm cloak. '8:34 am? Fuck,' His enteral cloak was fucked over from his last weeks on reach, didn't matter give him enough time and he'll straighten himself back out at least. Going over to the ODST backpack and the large metal case that both were locked with an ID lock, placing his finger on the heavy metal case it popped open which he then lifted open. Six couldn't help but smile at the four weapons within the case, one of them wasn't his but it belonged to a spartan psychopath that six considered his brother. Emile's modified shotgun was right before him along with three other weapons that were within the large case. A standard UNSC grenade launcher, a custom assault rifle he had worked on during his final weeks on reach, and finally the sniper rifle that has been modified to six's specifications after learning a few things from Jun AKA noble 3 after the two went on that mission together. Six reached to his side and pulled out Kat's magnum and placed it on the bed. Good time to take inventory after all. Those words of a British hero echoed through his mind that Six iodized during his training, the captain was responsible for hunting down a mad general and a Russian terrorist who caused WWIII. Then he felt something else on his body and reached down and pulled it out, the small handle in his hand made six smiles, sure it was a covie weapon yet it was one of Six's favorites and this seemed to be the zealot pattern blade he looted off during his first mission with noble team. It wasn't much but Six was glad that death gave him these weapons sure they weren't a rocket launcher or a plasma carbine these would work out just fine by Six. Closing the case Six turned to the ODST backpack as he opened it with another ID locking system. Some shape charges, with an extra unit of bio-foam, some more money, and backup ammo just in case. Six hummed before placing the ODST pack on his back since it was lighter than the case which was so damn heavy for most humans to carry but not him. Leaving these weapons here was not a very smart move then again the thing would require four or more people to carry it through Six still didn't take any chance and placed it under the bed. Grabbing Kat's sidearm he exited his room and went out to get something to eat lord knows how hungry he war right about now. (Light n bright diner) Six entered what seemed to be an old fashion looking dinner where a healthy amount of customers were inside eating as Six went over to a booth and sat down. A waitress went over and smiled as the griffin female spoke. "Here you go sir," She spoke. "I've never seen you around you new?" "Yes came into town yesterday," The spartan III told her. "Here for any reason? Parents or something?" The griffin asked. "Actually I got lost," This caused the waitress to blink. "Oh? Well... it's none of my business would you like some coffee? We have a fresh pot," "No thank you," "Well, we got milk and freshly squeezed orange juice," The waitress asked. "I'll take the juice," Six spoke. She nodded before going to get the drink as Six looked at the menu as he looked at the civilian-based food that he hadn't touched ever since he was a kid. He missed his grandfather's pancake so much along, Six's dad and his younger self tried and failed to recreate the pancakes but still the memory was a nice one to say the least. They might not be the same as his grandfather's but Six has longed for to try out the human classic breakfast food and maybe cheat a little. "Here you go darling," The griffin said placing his drink down before pulling out a note pad. "So did you figure out what you're having?" Six nodded. "I'll take a single chocolate chip pancake please," Six said knowing he had to save his bits. "Just one? Are you sure," Six nodded. The griffin wrote down his order before going over the to the kitchen causing Six turned his head out the window seeing the busy street of the city with many yellow taxi cabs going around. Six was always a city kid when he was little though he liked to be in the urban areas more than often and before the alien bastards fucked up his life he always liked being in a small house or apartment nothing too big less space to clean and more time to himself. Well, that was before the day it all went to hell. He was with his dad at the time, Six was playing a classic video game series on his play station 22 in his room in the apartment building of his father and stepmother. Then he heard it, the sirens, Six remembered he nearly jumped at the sound while fighting the final boss in the mountain vault of the thief's family. He opened the window to see it... The ships darken the sky above him as Six's blood froze, he knew who they were and he was terrified, his dad who was a police detective had just gotten off work burst into his room and grabbed the nine-year-old. His step-mother had just to work when his father got home but still Six remembered his dad's worried face as they left the apartment and got into his car and the two went straight for the station. His dad had him in the back with one of his spare vests covering him as the two zoomed though the streets, Six wasn't allowed to stand up he didn't want to as he could hear the screams of the people outside and the roars of the aliens. Upon making it to the station young six was placed into a far room where he would stay for the new two days and he was told not to open the door for anyone except his father or one of the officers. Six stayed in the dark for so long the light scared him every single time before the third day where his dad came in dressed in full body armor grabbed him as the entire building had become a blood bath. Plasma burns and blood stained the walls and dead officers, civilians, and UNSC marines were dead it was a nightmare that Six could feel having burned into his mind. Upon getting to the roof Six's father set him down behind an AC unit as marines and officers fought off Covent forces surrounding the station. Six was so scared he held his ears from the gunshots and closed his eyes terrified of what was going to happen to him but then those bastards showed up. The elite rangers dropping down upon them, Six watched those officers he knew were killed by the aliens and then his father. Six screamed seeing his father being shot in the chest by a energy crystal from one of the alien's rifles causing him to fall over dead. He should have died too but then again he was... in a way, when he looked up to see the rangers who killed his father stand up over him Six was covered his father's blood and tears filled his eyes as the blank helmet of the elite stared back. The alien just stared at him when Six asked him the question. 'why?' He wasn't going to answer for he pointed his weapon at him, Six was going to join his father if those ODSTs to show up were fast quickly neutralizing the rangers with their weapons. When the final Elite fell to the ground the ODSTs began to see who else survived, it was only Six that was left he was the sole survivor of this place. One of the ODSTs didn't want to help Six since he would only 'slow them down' but the team leader didn't care and took Six telling him what his father told him when the invasion began. "It was going to be OK," ... "Here you go," Six snapped out of it while a plate was placed before him as he smiled. "Thank you," "No problem," The watress smiled. "Enjoy your meal," Six watched the Waitress walk over to another booth allowing Six to remove his helmet and place in next to him close to the wall of the booth. Grabbing the knife and fork six began to eat as the sweet flavor of the chocolate entered his mouth and the fluffy pancake, adding syrup to this would ruin how good it tasted. The spartan wanted to enjoy this meal since the meals he had for the past 20 years was nothing but ready to eat meals and if he could eat at all. If ONI didn't have him in cryo between missions first he wouldn't got the chance to eat at all, every time he would wake from cryo he would only have a bottle of water before going out on the mission and then back to cryo. ONI planned on having Six around for a long while, it was a blessing that when he joined noble team on reach since for nearly the first time in many years he was out of cryo more than a few days. For someone his age, he still looked to be either 18 or in his early 20s though that didn't matter with him now looking all wolf like now did it? Now that he thinks about it kinda reminds him of that grimdark series with that one blue skin alien that after every mission like him she would be placed in stasis. Six smiled as he drank his juice after finishing his pancake, the juice was so much better than the powder drinks he had with an MRE. Emile would joke about how the UNSC would recycle the skins of the oranges and grind them into a powder for the drinks of the MREs. Heh... he missed them. Jorge he missed the most, the only spartan II of the team ironically Jorge was the most human of them all and if it wasn't for Jorge, Six would still be the cold hearted spartan that he was before joining Noble team. Holding noble five's tags in his hand noble six gave a sad sigh knowing that Jorge gave his life thinking he saved his homeworld only for it to be invane. Six should have asked Death if he could at least let Noble five be with him hopefully the large spartan would at least help Six out right now due to his lack of social skills and unstable mental state. Placing the tags back in his soft bag Six placed his helmet back on but the moment he did he noticed something. A large red dot was coming by, confused six turned outside to see a car passing by but six's drugged brain began to speed up his perception as he saw the car drive by and out from the back door with an explosive weapon that was oddly similar to an old human Russian launcher. The rocket was fired as Six quickly sprang into action his survivor instances kicking in as he threw himself out the window as the diner roared into the fire as the remaining windows were blasted out. Landing down Six turned to see the car drive away as Six got up, this caused the car to turn around and stop before drinking back down the round as this time a 'pony' and a feline got out from the other side of the car and point their weapons down at him while the driver and back passage pointed out their weapons at him. Six was about to jump forward and bring himself down on the car but stopped upon seeing a female rodent with a shopping bag and her child holding the parent's hand. Jorge's personally had rubbed off on Noble six causing him to throw himself over the woman and child using himself as a shield as the bullets began to fly. Luckily his armor plus the on board shielding protected six from the small-caliber 9mm rounds from the weapons, the child screamed as the bullets flew but six held onto them for dear life. While the car drove away Six let them go turning around seeing the car drive off as his photo memory began to take in every detail of the car including the plate numbers. He then turned to the woman and child before speaking. "Are you alright ma'am?" The woman froze before going to her child. "Sweetie are you alright? Are you hurt?" The child mouse shook her head. "I'm alright mama," The woman turned her head towards the spartan. "I can't thank you enough sir you were willing to give your life for us," She said as the spartan nodded. "Guess you can thank my brother for that," Six stated confusing the woman but the spartan III turned towards the burning diner. No one could have survived that as Six watched as the griffin's feaders began to float down causing Six to sigh. "At least I save someone," Six sighed. "There was nothing you could do," The mother told six. "Maybe," Six then turned to leave knowing more died because of him but before he could leave the woman gasped. "Your back!" Right... his coat wasn't bulletproof. Noble six then turned. "Don't worry ma'am I'm wearing something under my duster," But this caused the woman to speak. "Doesn't matter if your wearing a vest you need to be treated," The woman spoke as she grabbed his hand pulling him. "Come on we have a doctor at the house," This confused six as he was grabbed being pulled by the rodent woman allowed her to take him to her home. (Later) 'THIS IS HER HOME!?' When six first saw the two sure they were nicely dressed but this?! GOOD LORD! This place was a freaking mansion! Ripped right out of the earth during the 1950s this palace was so expressive it had to worth half of Six's paycheck (Spartans were actually paid if you didn't know and it was a LOT!) Going to the gate where private security in full body armor were there at the gate and at first, they were confused why the 'boss's a kid' as six heard brought him into her home. Six first though it was the child mouse it turns out the mother was 'the kid' Six had been to a mansion once to meet an ONI member face-to-face for a meeting it was in the dark of the night and his mind was sent to get in and out for the meeting. This place was quite the sight and when they entered the mansion was very amazing, with exotic rugs, expressive-looking paintings, and butlers and maids. Six didn't know what to think but were stopped by a Bat-like Equine in a black tux with a red dress shirt. "Weapons sir," Six looked at them knowing he was a guest in this woman home as the mother seemed to be slightly angry with the guard as the spartan III agreed to give his weapons. His knife, Emile's Kukri, and Kat's magnum but he kept the energy sword just in case after giving them the weapons the mother looked at the military-style weapons and looked at Six as if in thought. Being guide into a large office room that made six freeze, this had to be somekind of gang family house. 'Oh... shit...' "Grandpa!" The mouse squealed as she rushed to a old looking rat who smiled upon seeing the kid. "AH! How's my sweet baby girl doing?" The rat said with a smile as his daughter from what six could guess walked over. "She's doing well after what happened," The daughter told her father as the rat looked up. "What?" "We were almost killed dad," This caused the rat to look at his daughter as he spoke to the mouse girl. "Sweetie why don't you go to your room," The little girl whined but did so before waving to Six. "Bye mister thank you for saving me," Six waved back as the door to the room was shut as the Rat boss held his hands while his daughter began to whisper what happened into his ear. Six stood there not moving as the boss nodded before looking at the ONI agent with a blank expression. "You saved my daughter and my grand daughter from a hit and run correctly?" "Yes sir," "Why?" The rat boss asked. "Why did you protect them? To get close to me to try and-" "DAD!" "What?" The mod boss turned to his daughter wasn't happy. "He saved Hope and myself doesn't that matter?" "Sweetie you know we have to be careful our business is dangerous and we have to be careful with who we trust," Six rubbed the back of his neck as he pointed to the door. "I can leave if you want," "No please we still need to make sure you weren't hurt," The daughter spoke. "Its quite alright I'm fine I've been though worse," Six stated. Six began to leave but the rat boss spoke. "My daughter tells me you a soldier," Six stopped his hand on the door. "And something about a brother of yours," The rat boss spoke. "Please come back let us start over," The rat boss told six and he knew not to piss this guy off knowing he didn't want to make sure a powerful enemy, doing so the rat held out his hand to the chair. "Sorry about what I said before you can't be too sure about what happens around her," Six nodded. "It's fine sir," Six carefully sat down in the chair and to his surprise it didn't break off his extremely heavy armor. "What's your name son?" The rat boss asked. "I would like to know the name who saved my daughter's life," Six closed his eyes its been so long since he heard his birth name but the many code names he has been giving six's memory was seemly washed out from mind of his old name and his current one he needs to keep... For them. For their memory. "My name is Six," The rat boss blinked. "That's your name?" He asked as six spoke. "It's the only name I have left," Six told him. "Its been so long since I heard my birth name," The two along with the two large bodyguards blinked in surprise as Six reached to his hood pulling it down as the group saw his military helmet covering his head before he reached to removed it. The hissing of air as the vacuum seal was broken causing the daughter to gasp seeing the scared face of the spartan while how young he looked. No one dare speak as the rat boss held his head before sighing. "I only heard rumors," Six was confused as the Rat boss kept going. "That monster queen kidnapping orphan children to be used as soldiers. I thought it was just a story but... here you are," 'What is he talking about,' "Another reason why Twilight is far from the perfect leader... child soldiers... Gah," The rat boss sighed. "But I can't do anything about that," Six didn't say a word. "Guess not," The rat boss then got up. "You had a brother you said? Was he like you?" Six nodded. "Yeah but we weren't by blood," Six stated. The rat boss smiled slightly. "Bonds forged in war are powerful," The rat said before speaking. "I was a soldier too once upon a time during the 'friendship' war where that bitch thought that every nation needed to be under a single banner was drafted into that damn war. I was young but here you are far younger used to fight that damn war correct?" Six didn't speak. "What was his name?" "Jorge," Six stated. "Any others you knew?" "Emile, Kat, Carder, and Jun," Six named the remaining members of noble team. "Are they... gone?" Six nodded. "Sorry for you loss son," "Thank you," The rat boss then spoke. "How you escape?" Six looked up. "Who said I did?" Six spoke. "They left me behind," In a way Six wasn't lying but at the same time he was. The rat boss held his arms crossed. "Well, then son," The rat boss began. "Would you want to get revenge on the ones who caused you so much pain?" Six looked up at the boss before he spoke. "How would you like a place in the family?" The spartan II looked down at the Spartan III as the darkness that surrounded them faded as they were back in the Covenant ship with the pelican and everything else. "No... no! This can't be happening not again!" Six was slightly panicked as Jorge grabbed his shoulder. "Six claims down," "No fiv- Jorge you got to listen to me you can't set off the slip space drive it'll all be for nothing!" Six grabbed his friend's large chest plate. "Please listen to me!" "I know Six," "What?" Six blinked. "Six were not back on the carrier this is your memory," The spartan spoke. "Still you don't have to die again! I don't care if this is a memory! Please don't die again! You're my brother!" Six pleaded as Jorge took off his helmet dropping it to the ground "I never saw this side of you before Six. Where did this come from?" Noble five asked. "Jorge this will all be for nothing! Please don't do this!" "You and I both know what is sent in stone," Jorge stated. "I'm already dead Six a little death wouldn't hurt me more," Six felt his body freeze up as he couldn't more anymore as Jorge pulled his tags off. "Please!" "Six... you've been good for Reach I'm proud of you little brother," Jorge then picked up Six by the hand yet again lifting him up. "Wait! What about death what it could-" "You know the answer already Six," Before Jorge could let Six plead with him the large spartan dropped Six through the shields as Six began to fall back to reach this time fire roared around him as he began to re-enter the planet's atmosphere. As the carrier was completely engulfed by a miniature slip space rupture the fleet began to pour in as Dot the AI began to report the invasion fleet as Six's radio was overwhelmed by the voices of those in orbit. (Six's new room) Six got up feeling his blood run cold from his dream as he fell asleep yet again by accident as when he thought he laid down for just a second but entered the realm of sleep. Holding his face Six rose up brushing his fur back, B-312 rubbed his eyes as he walked over to the much nicer bathroom in his room he turned on the water and stepped in. He wasn't a nudist but he needed to sleep without his armor for once besides this body of his had every scar from his human body both surgical scars and ones from battle. His fur did keep him from getting cold at least a plus to this new body at least. The cold water slightly stung him before it slowly began to heat up as the heat from the shower created some steam around him. Six held his head down under the showerhead as he had his hands against the wall of the shower just letting himself think. He's been doing a lot of that lately, just thinking. Hearing the door to his room up Six lifted his head as the water hit his face. "Six you in here?" One of the mobsters asked. "In here," Six spoke to the mobster. "Sorry didn't know," The mobster stated. "It's fine to be out in a second," Turning off the water Six got out of the stand-in shower as he grabbed his towel and began to dry himself before exiting. The mobster was looking at Six's armor on his table as he turned. "Hey man, you alright- SWEET GODDESS DUDE!" The mobster held his arm in front of his face. "What?" "Your naked!" Six looked down at himself before speaking. "What?" "You. Are. Naked," The mobster stated. 'Ah right...' Six then wrapped his towel around his waist. "There," The mobster lowered his arms seeing Six. "That's better now- PFFT!" "What is it now?" Six gave an annoyed look at the mobster. "Your fur... HAHAHAHAHA!" Turning his head he blinked as he saw his reflection. It looked like his entire fur had exploded causing Six to use his claws on his hands to brush down his fur as the Mobster held back his laughter. "What do you need?" Six asked. "Heh... get dress time for you to earn your keep," The mobster stated as Six nodded. "A car is waiting for you outside," "So your Six?" A mobster land shark asked looking at the duster wearing spartan. "I am," Another mobster opened the door to the fancy-looking car causing Six to wonder if his armor wouldn't cause the transport to drag then again it was lighter than what a Spartan-II did even slightly. "Get in," (Moments later) Six was glad he had his helmet on ever since he was a kid he hated it when people smoked... still does. Thank god for air-tight armor. The land shark held a cigarette to his chompers and inhaled. "Where we off to?" Six asked looking out the window. "Just some boring stuff," The shark said. "Just doing some basic stuff," Six looked at the shark. "Like what?" "Collecting some money," Tapping his cigarette's ashes into the ashtray. Six gave a silent sigh knowing what kind of money he was talking about. 'Protection money,' "Hey got to ask," The other mobster sitting on the left side of Six asked while six turned from the window. "What's with the cloak and dagger?" "I have my reasons," Six stated while the griffin mobster smiled. "I got a feeling you think it's just cool to be all dark and edgy?" The griffin laughed. "Oi shut your trap Grill!" The Landshark turned on the set to look at the griffin. "Leave Six alone," "Hey come on Teeth I'm just having some fun with the guy that's all," Grill stated. "Don't come crying to me if you end up with a few fingers missing," Teeth warned Grill. Grill turned to Six as he saw the flash of a blade from under Six's coat. "I can take a hint," Grill stated holding out his hands. "Jeez just trying to lighten up the mood," Six wasn't expecting what he went through. Yes, they collected protection money for the mod but it wasn't much just some money to collect not much, it was a reasonable amount nothing too much just a little. Hell, the citizens under the mods protection seemed to be happy to see them and when they were at a pizza joint the owner who seemed to be an Italian Abyssinian came out to hug Teeth. Teeth and Grill seemed to be well-liked around the turf of the mob through the quiet driver didn't really get out of the car or even talk with them just guarded the car with the money when they left to collect. It was smart to have someone stay behind to watch the money while making sure the car didn't get rigged with explosives by a rival gang. Taking some food from the pizza place to go Six and the others got into the car as dusk began to settle in after a long day of work collecting money from everyone around town. His helmet off he held the pizza slice in his hand thinking the day was over but when they missed their turn Six turned to Teeth. "Where are we going?" Six asked. "Jobs not over pal we got one more stop on the list," The shark told the wolf. Finishing the crust he turned to the window and froze. "Red street," When the UNSC has formed the act of prostitution was outlawed though it didn't stop most colonies to have some red light areas in both major and minor cities. Mostly in the form of nightclubs and other night rec areas such as bars or such but public brothels and what not were completely erased. Didn't stop them from making some underground brothels and strip clubs, hell Six had to hunt down a target in one of these areas without being noticed. Still, Six does remember going into a nightclub on reach wondering what it was like if he ever went to one with the lights, the music, and seeing some pretty girls. He wasn't really attracted to anyone though sure Kat was pretty had a somewhat likable personality once you got to know her after she stopped acting like a bitch. In the end, though he saw her as his sister he would listen to her theories and did not tell carder when he once caught her looking into some top-secret files. He missed her dearly. Nothing could prepare him for the moment they entered what seemed to be the ring of lust. Girls and Men of all races were out on the streets waiting to escort someone for the right price while the neon lights shined deeply. "Here we are... Grill no doing anything stupid," Teeth said causing Grills to growl. "It was one time," Grill stated. Teeth rolled his eyes. "Understood," "Good," Teeth then turned to the driver. "Dutch keep your eyes open," The driver held up a thumbs up as he held the same look as he did this morning and still wearing his sunglasses. Exiting the car, the three walked up to where a Yak was guarding the door and saw the two before nodding. "Teeth... Grill... whose this?" The Yak asked. "This is Six Jackie he's new to the family," Teeth told the large Yak. "Don't worry he knows the rules," "Good but I'm more for Grill breaking them," "It was one time! Will no one let that down?! She was on me like fire to oil!" Grill shouted. "Just keep it in your pants Grill," Jackie told Grill who sighed. "Yeah yeah let us in," Jackie let them in. The moment they entered Six's improved vision quickly adjusted to the dark neon-lit room in the strip club as girls danced, a feeling burned in six's gut feeling sorry for these girls. Got to say tall dark and I'm guessing handsome over there is more than just hired muscle," Vinyl asked. "He is," Teeth spoke. Vinyl tapped her fingers on the backrest of the booth she was in. "What's with the hood though?" Vinyl asked. "Got something to hide?" "No," Six told the mare. "Why take off your hood? Your inside it's rude to have your hood up," Not wanting to make the owner mad and fuck up his new job Six grabbed his hood pulling it down to show off his Mark V(b) helmet. "A helmet under the hood? Man, you're going to tell me next you got a mask under that helmet!" Vinyl laughed. "Vinyl the money," Teeth reminded the white pony. "Yeah. Yeah. Cool your jets. I want to see what your buddy looks like first... helmet off," Vinyl ordered Six which caused Teeth to cross his arms. "We don't have time for your games Vinyl the money," The annoyed tone in Teeth's voice was enough to tell Vinyl he wasn't in the mood. "Oh hush now. You'll get your money," Vinyl said while turning to Six. "Helmet first," Teeth held his muzzle while Grill was too busy smiling at one of the other girls who waved to him, knowing this will get the ball moving faster Six removed his helmet as the vacuum seal was broken and the smell of drugs and smoke filled his nose. Six held himself from coughing though Vinyl smiled at his appearance. "A dire wolf? My. My. Such an exotic muscle you boys have with you and he's quite handsome to boot," Vinyl licked her lips. "How about a deal Teeth?" Six felt his blood freeze slightly. "I pay triple and you let Mr. Six stay for the night so he and I can... 'get to know' each other," Vinyl offered but it wasn't an offer and Teeth knew it. It might have sounded like but it wasn't more like the lines: 'This is what I want to happen to do it or else,' Six knew that too and he was less pleased than Teeth was, turning to the spartan Teeth mouthed 'I'm sorry' before back to Vinyl. "Fine," Vinyl smiled as she snapped her fingers as a thug in some street clothes walked over with a case and handed it to them too. "We happy?" The pony looked at Six. "We happy," She confirmed. Grill was grabbed by Teeth as the land shark turned to the wolf. "We'll be back in the morning just do what she asks she controls more than the escorts," Teeth told Six which caused the spartan to gulp watching Vinyl rise up from her booth with her finger telling him to come close. 'This isn't going to end well,' Going over to her she knocked her knuckles on his chest upon hearing metal being tapped on. "Some hardcore protection you got there big boy~" Vinyl purred before scratching his chin like a cat. "Come with me," 'This... isn't what I was expecting,' Six sat on a couch in what he could guess was Vinyl's office as a large hot tub was on the side of the room filled with some pretty hot girls in it. A dragon, a few ponies, and some canines as well. All smiled at him when the dragon with red and purple scales blew him a kiss. "Alright strip down and get in," Vinyl stated. Vinyl: 'Damn that's is heavy ass shit,' Watching him is to manually remove his armor before them until he was in his nerve suit as he reached behind his neck and began to unzip the black Kevlar weave nerve thread off. Dropping the dress onto the floor the only thing he wore was his tags as the Vinyl bit her finger seeing his dark grey fur that had some scars shown off to the entire world. Dipping into the water Vinyl sat across from Six while he was 'far' away from the owner and the girls. "So you're a soldier after all," Vinyl stated. "In a way," "In a way?" Vinyl questioned. Six rubbed his fingers across a long scar going down his wrist that not all spartan IIIs had. "Not all these scars are from war," Vinyl blinked before whistling after putting two and two together. "Damn... your one of Twilight's projects huh?" Vinyl asked. "I could be," Six stated. Some of the girls looked at him seemly shocked. "Fuck me. One of Twilight's child super soldiers guess the rumors were true... but it seems one at least got away before she could cover the damn thing up," Vinyl stated. "I knew Twilight before she went over the top but upon seeing you? Guess a part of me didn't want to believe that she is truly mad with power," "Power corrupts all," "Your preaching to the goddesses buddy," Vinyl stated. "Stealing Discord's power and her own kid Niece along with her sister-in-law? Faust help us all," 'Damn... I did hear about discord before but stealing a literal god of chaos's power is crazy how can she control chaos itself???' Looking at the scars on the other side of his arm he rubbed them. "Still got to make a living somehow though that psychopath's trail of madness," Six felt a hand on his arm to see the dragon looking at him. "Uhhh," The dragon didn't speak just began to follow his scars over his body while Six felt slightly uncomfortable as another canine more like a vulpine began to hold his hand looking at the scars too. "Speaking of which," Vinyl spoke. "I have an offer for you," Raising her shades up a smile appeared on her face while her ruby eyes seemed to look into him. "You have a nice look along with a helluva build to boot how would you like to star in a film of mine," Vinyl asked but at the same time not asking. "See people have been wanting to see some exotic and different stuff lately and there I was thinking of what to do then BOOM! You come in with Teeth and Grill! Answer to my problem," 'Just do what she says... damn it Teeth I fucking hate you right now! Nothing is worth this!' Besides he might want a fellow furred to pop his cherry," The Fox stated holding the spartan's arm in her chest. "Please call me cold blood? We dragons are far more warm than bubblegum," The pink-furred Fox glared. "At least I'm softer than some cold hard scales," "Yet your not big enough for him to fit his package in," "I am too!" "Enough girls," Vinyl spoke as the two stopped. "First we'll figure this out later and second you're smoldering him," Six was blushing madly as the girls looked at one another. "Threesome?" Guess it has to be for reasons. Then again he wasn't in his armor or anything so did matter. Nude again on the bed he laid there his arms empty without someone to hold. Again... Yes, he liked working alone but that didn't mean he liked it. Sure he was known as being a lone wolf (in this cause literally) and it had its perks of course from only worrying about yourself and the mission to having no one screw anything up. Still Cryo status was a blessing. At least he didn't go to sleep knowing he'll be alone... He'll be frozen alone. Grabbing a crimson pillow he held it close to his chest while he closing his eyes shut as the spartan's tail went in between his legs. Feeling like a baby in a womb made of soft sheets Six felt himself a sense of dread wash over him with the feeling of being alone forever slice into his soul like how the energy blade did his heart. 'Six is the loneliest number' Yeah, it's not how the song went but right now it sure as hell felt that way. Author's Note So... Yeah... Vinyl is a kinda gun runner/'escort' manager. He said: "Spartans never die," Though everyone knew that was a lie, spartans do die like everyone else even him, 'ONI's personal grim reaper' even faces the knife at some point. He might be one of the only two hyper-lethal spartan ever recorded but even he had his limit. Fighting none stop for days, no sleep, no food, no water, low on ammo, moving from palace to palace, no backup, nothing it was just him and the covies that were glassing the entire planet. So yeah of course he was brought down but not after shoving his fist down someone's throat. He fought with the fury of all of his countless dead brothers and sisters. The child of a forgotten planet whose entire history has been blacked out by ONI and became their personal grim reaper who never failed them once. Only for him to die here on reach. The best reward he has ever been given, the chance to join Carder, Emile, Kat, and Jorge in Valhalla where all spartans no matter if they were a II or a III. Though... That's what he thought. Six felt the pain in his chest from where the energy dagger pierced his body fade away along with the feeling of being back on his feet and his helmet returned to his head undamaged. The feeling of his black personally modified Mark V Mjolnir armor was nice, to say the least after all he spent nearly half his life in the suit. Though... Where was he? He wasn't on Reach that was for sure and yet this didn't look anything like the stories of Valhalla or heaven not like he deserved to be at the gold and ivory gates of the lord. The spartan III stood seemly in a realm of grey, no sky, no floor, nothing but grey was this purgatory where he would wait for his judgment? Though this place felt all too familiar to Six as if he has been here once before a long time ago. The feeling of deja vu was crippling as Six held his head trying to remember as he could feel the answer on the tip of his tongue yet it remained out of his grasp. Then a voice spoke one that couldn't belong to any living being human, alien, or AI this voice was a deep yet claiming voice that caused Six's mind to ease. "Hello again boy," The voice spoke. "It's good to see you again," Six looked up to see a being seemly made of the smoke stand before him, Six was confused but he knew who this was deep in his very soul for this was the real grim reaper, Death. "How have you been boy?" Death asked. Six looked at the smoke that looked like a skeleton in a robe where the smoke seemly was black and white. "Busy," Six answered. Death gave a low chuckle amused by his answer. "I can tell you are a hard mortal to kill now I'll give you that," Death responded. "But you are that same mortal that came here not so long ago," This seemed to confuse Six. "But I digress," Death spoke. "Besides seems like you were given my title and for good reason," Six then saw countless smokey figures fill the entire grey space all in the shapes of humans and aliens of both young and old alike... ONI trained him to kill and that's what he did, he is a killer. "So many souls you have given to me that I must admit is a bit much for one man," Death spoke. "But I can't really call you a man anymore can I?" The ghostly figures all vanished. "So many," Death spoke. "So many in fact it's amazing," Six just stared at the reaper. "I'm proud of you boy," Death spoke. "So proud that I think that deal we made so many years ago was worth it," "Deal?" Six questioned. Death gave the same chuckle. "Right you wouldn't remember after all that was also a part of the terms you agreed to for the deal," Death spoke. "But none the less your back to me and have gone beyond my expectations!" Six was confused... Did he make a deal with death before? When? How? Did he die or something before? It doesn't add up. "Though I'm surprised," Six turned to Death. "Still a virgin," "What does that have to do with anything?" Six asked. "Nothing," Death responded. "Just surprised that's all not like it matters after all one of the terms wouldn't allow you to create life," Six blinked. "What?" "Again doesn't matter those drugs pumping through your veins wouldn't allow it anyway," Death spoke. "Still... there is the question what I do with you now," That line made Six's blood freeze, he hadn't felt fear in his entire spartan III career he almost forgot the feeling completely. "I can't let a good avatar of mine be thrown away so easily," Death responded. "After all you gave me so many souls in this lifetime that I owe YOU!" Death again chuckles deeply. "What does that mean?" Six questioned. "Well, it means I can't let you move on," Death spoke. "But your physical body on reach is now nothing more but glass so a new body is in order but this time I'll not have you start all over from square one again," 'Did I have some kind of past life or something?' "After all this form of yours is most suited for reaping souls unlike the last one but I might have to alter it slightly for you to 'blend' in you know," Death began. "Humans aren't really a thing in this one world I have picked for you," "What are you talki-" "You know what I'm saying lad," Death spoke. "You'll live once again but not in the same universe that holds everything you know this world is far different from your current one," Around the two images flashed around them. "See this world I have picked for you is one that is quite 'peaceful' in some ways but in other ways isn't," Death told Six. "Peace is a lie as you already know for no matter how peaceful something seems you and I both know that I'm always waiting around the corner," Six watched as crimes were committed in the images. Thief, Robbery, Murder, and even Rape. Seems like sin was in all intelligent races no matter what. "You'll fit right in," Six watched as an equine humanoid slit the throat of a child Rodent child who held their dead mother. Six looked at Death. "Don't expect me to kill children this time," Six told the reaper who seemed to smile even with its skull face. "We'll see," Death then went to six. "I'll leave you with some of your belongs and tributes to your comrades so don't worry," Death tapped six's chest plate. "Do you want me to pass any words to them?" Death asked. "I'm sorry," Six answered. "For whom?" "All of them," (Friendship city) (Formerly Ponyville) Lights flashed as another dead body was found in the early hours of the morning in the slums of the 'new' capital of Equestria. Police were on the scene as a pony was found dead seemly dumped onto the ground for them to find could be from one of a mob. It didn't matter for them the police weren't going to find out who did this for this was another one of many dead whose killer would remain in the shadows. Justice in this city was dead and everyone knew it. A cloaked figure watched from an ally way holding a large case in it's right hand along with a backpack, one of the cops looked over to the ally way to see the figure as he saw something like a shimmer of gold coming round under the hood. Confused he narrowed his eyes but the figure seemly vanishes from his sight causing the cop to look at his flask before to the ally before pouring out his drink onto the road. ... Not even ten minutes and Six has already come across a crime scene, death was right it was around every corner seemly. Though Death might have brought him back in that ally to make a point to the Spartan III not like he needs to for Six already seen plenty of death this didn't phase him. Uncloaking himself Six began to walk down the streets it was mostly quiet for the few people of this world to walk by, like his universe there were all kinds from Equine, Felines, Canines, Rodents, Reptiles, Ursid, a few fantasy creatures like griffins and Landshark creatures. Still, six walked forward with the case he had somehow knowing that both the ODST pack and the case held weapons and ammo along with some 'bits' that this world used for money that he also knew about. Death seemed to have thought of everything for his favorite 'avatar'. After walking down a few blocks he ran into the first gang, biker based from the looks of for they were right outside a garage next to a bar. Along with that, they all had leather biker vests with the symbol of a flaming tire and two engine pistons in as crossbones for a snake skull. Six just kept his head down as he passed by the gang as he did one of the bikers noticed him and got up towards him before shouting. "Hey hood," The biker spoke up as six turned his head his visor darken so as not to draw attention. "You're in road snake territory," "Apologies I didn't know this place was off-limits," Six replied looking into the window to see the back of the biker's vest and of course he lacked the badge of the rest had. 'Must be new to the gang,' Six sighed knowing he hasn't earned his 'palace' in the gang yet though why him and not an officer of law enforcement he had no idea. "You new to friendship city?" The reptile asked to which six spoke. "You can say that... just a wander," Six replied. The reptile spat some chewing tobacco from his mouth onto the street. "How about I teach you some of the rules you should know," The reptile then popped his knuckles. "You should know not to come into some gang's turf without protection," Six watched as the reptile walk towards him, six was taller by a foot but this seemed to be the whole reason why he was being targeted. He was big and this cloak of his was tattered even know he just got it along with the military-style backpack and everything he seemed to be a perfected target. "You should wait," Six spoke causing the Reptile to stop confused by what Six had just said. "This isn't going to go the way you think it is," "What the fuck you say?" The reptile asked as he got close as the rest of the gang members began to watch even from the top floor of the garage. "You threaten me?" "No... I'm warning you," Six told him. "If you attack me I wouldn't hesitate to defend myself," "Pfft like that is a smart move attacking me will fuck up your life," The reptile stated pulling back his fist as Six placed down his metal case. "Fair enough," Six then watched as the Reptile throw a punch as Six casually dodged. The road snake blinked before throwing another punch but for every punch six dodged this reptile was slower than his superhuman sense... that is if he was even human anymore after death brought him here. Another and another hook this reptile was sloppy and he wasn't throwing real punches these were like a drunk man flaying his arms around. Six knew drunk boxing and this wasn't anything like that, good lord this Reptile was trying too damn hard. "STOP MOVING!" Six didn't and not a word left his lips while the Reptile lunged at him while six moved aside causing him to fall into a puddle of dirty water. The road snake looked up to see six towerings over him, who was looking at him through his dark visor before turning back to the heavy metal case that he set down and picked it up. "Do yourself a favor and stop embarrassing yourself and learn how to actually throw a punch," Six stated as he began to walk away but then his motion tracker on his HUD watched as the red dot that was the Reptile move at him causing six to turn and watch as a switchblade was driving into his chest. The entire gang froze as the blade snapped off from the impact as Six looked down at the reptile who looked up at him before Six brought his hand up placing a finger on the rookie's chest before punching forward in an inch punch. The sound of ribs breaking and the Reptiles screams echoed through the street as Six turned and leaving the gang to go to the young member. Six then passed by a cop car who seemly watched the entire thing as he turned his head at the cops who froze up upon seeing the hooded figure stare at them. The two cops gulped before Six turned forward and began to keep walking forward as the biker gang cursed at him and Six knew that he had already made some new enemies in this world within the first hour. (Fire Motel) (one hour later) The receptionist watched the news from the TV as she heard the doorbell ring telling her someone had entered the lobby as she kept watching the news. "Excuse me," A muffled male voice speak to her. Blaze locks turned on her chair. "Welcome to the Fire Motel how can we-" She stopped upon seeing the cloaked figure before her. "-help you?" "I would like a room please," The muffle being stated. "Um... sure five sliver bits pure night," Blaze locks told him as he reached into his duster's pockets and pulled out ten silver pieces placing them onto the counter. Blaze reached to grab the keys for the guest. "Here Room 111," Blaze locks spoke. "Two nights?" The being nodded taking the keys. "Do you have a map of the city?" The being asked as she nodded pointing to the map holder as the being went over and grabbed one. "Thank you," "Cause no trouble," Blaze spoke as the being left leaving, confused she then when back to the news. (Room 111) Placing the case on the bed Six sat down on the foot of the bed, though it was a cheap mattress six didn't care it's months since he even seen a bed it didn't matter. He didn't feel tired as he grabbed the remote he turned on the TV to the news station the receptionist was watching as it spoke. "Queen Twilight sparkle has spoken today at the friendship palace about the disappearance of the film flam brothers this afternoon after they have given reports about illegal trade deals with the friendship court," 'Just like back home,' Six sighed as the news kept going into detail as he pulled out the map. "Well... here I am death... now what I do?" Author's Note Burning the midnight oil guys as I realized that one my mom and step-father are camping and two I haven't touched the halo series in YEARS since I did 'HERE'S JACKIE!' Still want to do something different and knowing how well the anime-style story went I thought it's best to do something more common. A kind of gang story with Six wandering the city watching it run red in blood and maybe have him join a gang down the line. Some familiar faces of MLP will come and some other Faces from some furries will also come to show themselves just a heads up. Till then lads and lasses this spartan is tired.
