As Equestria reaches a time of great prosperity in its history for millennia it had faced little threat. And after the defeat of a Changling hoard came with little casualty and damage the denizens of the kingdom were looking forward to yet another many years of prosperity. But, on the night a meteor falls from the sky, producing a great cloud of debris and a shockwave that was felt for miles around, along with the arrival of a stranger. The denizens of Equestria would find out that their years of peace would not last much longer
