The first days were mostly getting used to everything again.
Luna was angry with everything that had happend, certainly being imprisoned for a thousand years.
"A thousand years how could she!" Luna murmured to herself as she walked across the garden.
A few minutes later Luna found herself at the road towards the outer town.
As she walked further on she noticed that she was not angry with herself, she was only angry at Celestia.
But what could she do? she wandered onwards visibly depressed.
Sir we have located Princess Luna she is currently wandering a road leading to the outer town.
"Finally I never thought she would go the outer town, we should meet her as fast as we can, this might be our only chance" said the mysterious pony.
Luna found a few shops and decided to take a look.
However before she was able to enter the first shop, a pony stepped up to her and asked her to follow him, not a moment later two more ponies appeared behind Luna.
"What do you want" Luna said challenging.
The pony who asked Luna to follow him earlier spoke "please Princess Luna just follow me"
Some time later they ended up at a dead end street corner, "watch Princess" the pony said as he removed a stone and pressed a button behind it.
Suddenly the wall started moving, and made a cave entrance.
"This way" the pony said, "Now hold on a moment, im not following you in there. First you tell me what this is about" Luna said.
"Luna" the pony said, "yes?" Luna said, "do you hate your sister?" the pony said, "yes...." Luna said, "then follow" the pony said.
"Hello Princess Luna" said the mysterious pony from the shadows, "who are you and what do you want" Luna said,
"You remember me" the pony said as she stepped from the shadows.
"Twilight Sparkle!" Luna said being very surprised.
"I want you" Twilight pointed at Luna "to rise up against your sister once more, but this time as yourself not as some crazy shadow form you" Twilight said.
"I don't understand why would you want to rise against Celestia?" Luna asked.
"Celestia has been keeping many secrets, and she has ruled this land long enough, she has only been keeping us back, Equestria is not even rightfully hers to rule.
"Rainbow Dash and Derpy Hooves have also joined our cause, just like many ponies" Twilight said.
"Good" Luna said fitting her new royal armor, it looked good and seemed to be very strong.
Everypony had bought armor for when the day came Luna would have to take Equestria by force if it was required.
Luna had already acquired alot of new members for the "New Lunar Republic" or atleast that is what Twilight called it,
But Luna liked the name.
Twilight was also acquiring new members, Luna was mainly the commander, Rainbow Dash was their scout and spy, even though Luna could enter the castle at any time, and Derpy served as the military commander, which Luna would never have sought behind Derpy, but she did it quite well.
Luna's night guards served as the front soldiers,
Then there were official new lunar republic members with their armor and last but most important the people that did not want Celestia as their ruler anymore, an angry mob of people unarmored but ready to do anything to defeat Celestia.
Ofcourse by now Celestia had noticed all the people doing strange things,
And it was only a mather of time before Celestia would find out about her little resistance group,
And when she did she would smash it to the ground, not publicly ofcourse but she would strike fast and hard.
"Is something wrong Princess?" Twilight asked, "o no its nothing, I will go to the castle tomorrow and persuade Celestia to surrender, you and Derpy lead the forces on the ground and Rainbow will lead the forces in the air, that is if I don't give the signal that Celestia has surrendered" Luna said.
"Everything is in place" Derpy said who had just returned from preparing the soldiers.
"Alright then we'll wait for Rainbow to get back and we sleep early" Twilight said.
Barely a moment later Rainbow stepped inside, "Rainbow tomorrow we will attack" Luna said.
"Finally some action" Rainbow said with a loud yawn.
Luna had returned to the castle the morning thereafter, she was walking towards Celestia room.
"Halt" a guard said obviously not willingly to just let her in.
Luna used her magic, grabbed his head and with a shift move knocked him out cold.
Luna entered Celestia's chambers, Celestia however was not there.
Luna thought that she may be walking somewhere and decided to go and look for her.
Luna turned around and saw Celestia and a squadron of guards, she did not expect this.
"Did you really think there was even the slightest chance i din't know?" Celestia said with an unforgiving voice.
Luna knew she had lost and that it had all been in vain.
Suddenly there was a loud bang and a sound of glass shattering, before Luna realised what was happening she was picked up by Rainbow Dash and a squadron of Pegasus.
Not very much later Luna was at a place she din't recognize.
"I'm so very sorry Princess" Twilight said, "have we lost yet Twilight Sparkle?" Luna asked.
"No we haven't I found out that Celestia knew after you left and we retreated as quickly as we could, we have however openly declared war against Celestia" Twilight said.
"Twilight Sparkle what do we do?" Luna asked.
"We take what is ours we fight till the last pony falls" Twilight said
"No, I will not be responsible for that many deaths Twilight Sparkle, last time my heart broke" Luna said.
"But Princess I know no other way" Twilight said.
"We surrender Twilight Sparkle" Luna said.
"No! we will not surrender we are willing to die for this cause and I will bind you before I surrender now!" Twilight responded.
"Then there is no way around it, you will fight with or without me, you will need my help from both my magic and the morality I create to keep the ponies fighting" Luna said.
