Discord = Disharmony? Indeed!
Placing her teacup neatly on the table, Fluttershy gripped onto the teapot's handle to pour in some tea in her own teacup. She landed her moist lips on the edge of her cup to take a sip of the brown liquid but carefully placed it back on the table to wave off the steam that was still floating and evaporating in the air.
With a soft sigh, the yellow pegasus turned her direction to the window of the cottage to look at the beautiful, natural scenery. Inhaling the scent of the steam, she could spot a nest sitting on top of a tree branch with two birds hatched from their eggs. Fluttershy smiled in awe as her eyes then laid on two grownup birds flying over to the nest with worms in their beaks.
She then reached out her hoof to grab a box, that was sitting on the table in front of her, which was wrapped with a silky red ribbon. She slowly unraveled it to find a remaining cookie that was the only one left in the box. She picked it up and was about to put it in her mouth since she spotted a white rabbit hopping angrily in his seat from the corner of her eye.
Fluttershy then took a quick glance at her uneaten cookie and smiled at the rabbit.
She carefully sliced the cookie in half with her bare hooves and gave one slice to the white rabbit, which unexpectedly led to a smile on his face. A peaceful smile also appeared on the pegasus' lips and plotted her slice of the cookie in her own mouth.
She picked up her teacup again to gulp down her sweet product. The pegasus carefully took a sip from her teacup to check if it was still hot, but it wasn't. She then looked behind her to see a cushion of her and a certain draconequus hugging as the image. With a despondent sigh, she placed down her teacup and started ruffling the edges of the pillow.
Angel noticed an upside-down frown on his caretaker's face. Feeling a bit sympathetic, he hopped onto his owner's lap and softly gave a warm, passionate hug. Fluttershy's eyes flattened to spot her own rabbit, who has always been seen as grumpy, giving something he would never do in his entire life. This softened her heart and exuberantly accepted the warm embrace.
Unanticipatedly, there was a flash of lightning struck in the room that broke the two from their loving embrace. Angel's eyes lowered at the draconequus who was standing in front of them harmlessly. Still, he was his former tormentor and still held a grudge against him. Angel growled at him which seemingly made the draconequus place a paw to his chest.
He has soon turned around as a soft hoof was laid on his shoulder. His eyes were now laid on the beautiful little yellow pegasus that was his first-ever friend, but later that his feelings for her had developed into something big but was scared to tell her about it since of many reasons he could think of.
He had hurt her so many times.
He caused havoc twice but when he was beginning to learn friendship from her, he betrayed her by joining a villain's side. He could still see the disheartened look on the pegasus. He felt remorseful for his actions but Fluttershy had always reminded him that it is all in the past now so there should be nothing for him to worry.
Fluttershy forgave him. Many times. But Discord still wouldn't let it go, hurting his own best friend. He only betrayed her because Tirek seduced him to join his side and brainwashed him into evil again, making him believe that chaos is better than friendship. He thought that the ponies were only his friends out of pity and to not cause havoc on Equestria anymore. But he was so terribly wrong.
The yellow pegasus soon realised a stricken look on the draconequus' face so hugged him around the waist, which snapped him out of it and had his eyes spread out. He softly smiled at the pegasus and brushed her long, petalled mane. However, this had gotten the white rabbit to stick out his tongue in an undignified manner. He still did not approve that his caretaker was now friends with the Lord of Chaos.
He wouldn't let the past go, let the draconequus' past actions slip behind them. He didn't even try to end their quarrel. But then again he was always like this, like when he was annoying Spike for crittersitting him and the other animals. He could see the frustrated look on the young dragon's face. Nevertheless, they made up for it on the train to the Crystal Empire mischief.
''Angel?'' Fluttershy called, snapping the rabbit out of his angry trance. ''Is everything alright?''
Discord huffed. ''How can everything be alright with that sick twisted little devil?''
Angel growled under his breath and shot a glare whilst kicking his legs at the slender draconequus.
''Oh dear,'' Fluttershy murmured.
''Why, I-'' Discord started to say but stopped himself as he noticed the pegasus' mad look on her beautiful face. Even though he had found her even more attractive when angry, he still found her terrifying when in this state.
Fluttershy was tapping her hoof to the floor in a serious manner.
''Haven't you two fixed your little mischief already?'' Fluttershy asked, shaking her head disapprovingly.
Discord twiddled with his fingers. ''Well, I- you see...''
''I don't want to hear any excuses!'' Fluttershy snapped, increasing her voice a bit further. She then took a soothingly deep breath. ''Now, I feel like I still need my therapy sessions for the two of you since you are constantly misbehaving in my cottage and not letting the past of each other slide behind.''
Discord and Angel both exchanged uneasy glances with each other, then back at the pegasus who had a serious expression on her face. They both hastily shook their heads constantly.
Fluttershy merely ignored them and flew over to the corner of the cottage to find a table and cushions laid on the floor to be utilised as seats. She sat down comfortably in one of them and hardly patted on the two cushions for both of the creatures to sit beside her.
Discord grumbled, flying over to take a seat next to her. Whereas, Angel hopped on the table for his short height. Fluttershy, on the other hoof, was just nodding in approval for their unusual submissive behaviour. Although she knew that Discord would do anything as she would tell him to do. However, she was certain that Angel would not so she was impressed by his act.
She then took out her checklist and pen that was sat underneath the table for her other previous therapy sessions. Placing glasses above her nuzzle that made her look funny, she sent a glare at the white rabbit who was giggling at her appearance. Soon after, he stopped and shifted himself on his cushion.
Fluttershy went into her violet alicorn friend's lecture voice. ''Now, the first step we will be having to do today is letting go of our pasts and forgiving one another.'' She lowered her glasses. ''Do we think we can do that?''
Angel uneasily stared at the draconequus but didn't receive one back as he raised his paw in the air.
''Yes?'' Fluttershy replied, resettling her nerdy glasses back on.
''Did I just hear today?'' Discord asked, cupping onto his own ear. ''As in there will be more therapy sessions?''
''We'll see about that,'' Fluttershy answered simply. ''If this session goes right then there won't be anymore but if it goes wrong then there will be plenty of more to come to get the two of you to stop your mischief. And don't think I won't be able to realise that this would be some playful gesture you will pull off so you wouldn't have to do more.'' She eyed at the tall draconequus, who lifted his paw again.
''How am I supposed to know what this fiend is saying?'' Discord questioned.
Fluttershy eyed the both. ''First of all, don't call him a fiend because it's a violation and discrimination to ponies or creatures in this case. Because no creature would want to be associated with the word 'devil' or 'evil', not even you, Discord.''
He lifted his paw. ''But what if he does act as a devil?''
''Then I can say that you are acting like a hypocrite right now, are you not?'' Fluttershy said, a little bit nicer to not offend him for his dark past but it didn't turn out right as he placed a paw to his chest in an offended manner, but she shook it off.
Fluttershy cleared up her throat. ''Second of all, don't worry because I have this whole thing planned out already because I knew this day would come.'' She flew over to get her saddlebag and came back. She took out a bottle with green liquid inside of it. ''Angel, I would like for you to drink this so you could actually speak.''
Angel eyed the bottle which he found a bit suspicious, but his own caretaker wouldn't poison him, would she? Nevertheless, he shook it off and tipped off the lid of the bottle, and hastily drunk the liquid. It had tasted like cardboard covered in toothpaste. He stuck out his tongue in disgust and just before he knew it, he was able to make noise out of his mouth, something he could not do before.
''I didn't know my voice sounded like this,'' Angel spoke in a deep voice.
Fluttershy nodded. ''The effect worked and now we can finally begin.''
She turned to the draconequus. ''Discord, I want you to say 'sorry' to Angel for your past actions because we can see that he still hadn't let your past go but that may be because you haven't tried to apologise to him.''
''How could I?'' Discord asked. ''I'm all down if only he wouldn't be so grumpy!''
They both hissed at each other until Fluttershy backed the two away. She sent a glare at the draconequus as a warning.
Discord sighed in defeat. ''I'm sorry, Dev- I mean, Angel, for my past actions,'' he said monotonously.
He took out his paw for the rabbit to shake it but all he did was stare at it and then at him with a tongue.
Fluttershy looked at him unsettlingly.
''Fine,'' Angel muttered. ''I forgive you, Discord. And I'm s-s-s-sorry, too.''
''Do you actually mean it?'' Fluttershy asked, eyeing him. ''Because remember, if this doesn't work then there will be more sessions to come. Maybe I should switch the two of you's bodies around because you never know how hard someone's life is.''
She went on. ''Discord is the spirit of chaos so he's supposed to spread chaos freely but he isn't doing it for evil anymore. If only you let his past slide then you would know how much of a sweetie he can be.'' She saw the rabbit mimic over her but shook it off. ''And for Angel, I can't even understand you anymore. Discord is right. You are grumpy.''
''What?'' Angel spoke. ''Are you defending him because you like him very much?''
Discord looked at him, confused. However, Fluttershy was blushing hard but maintained to keep a straight face.
''That's enough!'' she exclaimed, angrily. ''Now, I will be leaving this room and you must promise me that you will behave sensibly and create friendship.''
''Ugh,'' Discord moaned. ''Let the cheesiness goooooo!''
Fluttershy sent another warning glare at him which made him stop his whining.
She nodded and then flew out of the cottage, leaving the two to stand there in silence. They watched each other with awkward eye contact.
''So,'' Discord began. ''Do you like cheesy muffins?'' He conjured up a tray of freshly baked cheesy muffins with a grey pegasus and a cheese yellow mane attached to her scalp.
Derpy snatched the tray of muffins from his aura of chaos magic that was levitating in the air and stormed out of the cottage with the products.
Angel stared at him. ''You're funny, I guess. And I'm sorry.''
Discord's ears perked up, not believing what he was saying. He looked down at the white rabbit who unexpectedly wore a guilty expression on his face.
''I guess I really have been so grumpy lately and I'm sorry for that,'' Angel said. ''I'm sorry for not letting your past actions slide behind us and not offering my friendship to you just like my caretaker did with you. Can you ever forgive me?'' He looked at him with pleading eyes.
Discord didn't know if this was all an act, thus he sighed. ''I'm sorry, too. You know? I never really wanted to hurt ponies. I just wanted everypony to enjoy my glorious chaos but of course, they were all party poopers.''
''Well, I think it's pretty cool and funny.''
Discord, again, had his ears perk up. He still couldn't believe that this white rabbit, who was always seen as grumpy, behave sensibly. He wanted to make amends, he really did. But he found it difficult when he-
''Well, at least someone enjoys my chaos aside from a certain yellow pegasus we both seem to know.''
There was a lingering silence hanging between them, rubbing their arms sheepishly and not making any eye contact. Until Discord conjured up a sword in his claw and another weapon in the tiny one's paw.
''Do you want to play a round of Ogre's and Oubliette's?'' Discord offered. ''Perhaps even want to join Guys' Night with Spike and Big Macintosh?''
Angel thought about it for a second, then without hesitation, nodded his head in response.
With a smirk, Discord teleported the two of them somewhere else with a snap of his talons.

Ponyville was in its finest season. The red, orange and yellow leaves were already falling off of their trees and everycreature was enjoying themselves in the ombre leaves.
Fluttershy was trotting on the path to the Ponyville spa to meet up with her white unicorn friend as it was the day for their usual spa treatments and get-together. A day for the two of them to refresh themselves for the hard work they have done in their three boutiques and sanctuary.
The door of the Ponyville spa swayed open, revealing a yellow pegasus standing in the doorway. A white unicorn zoomed towards her friend with an exuberant smile.
''Fluttershy, darling!'' Rarity piped. ''I have been waiting for you since forever!''
''Oh.'' Fluttershy circled her hoof to the floor. ''I'm sorry, Rarity, but I was trying to mend a feud.''
Rarity sighed frustratingly. ''Let me guess, another mishap between one of your critters?''
Fluttershy shook her head. ''Discord and Angel,'' she simply replied.
Rarity's eyes shrunk. ''Well! It's certainly about time for you to have the two finally get along with each other.''
''I know,'' said Fluttershy. ''I have planned this since forever until today was the day it was chosen.''
''Indeed.'' Rarity nodded.
One of the spa ponies, Lotus Blossom, who had a blue coat and a petalled pink mane, cleared up her throat in a fashioned way to get the two's attention.
''Usual spa treatments for two?'' she asked.
* * *
Meanwhile, Discord led his new friend into the Castle of Friendship and through the corridors to enter the throne room. There were two figures sitting in two of the seven thrones.
Sitting in Rainbow Dash's throne was a big, red, muscular stallion. Next to it was a mini throne with a purple baby dragon and green polished scales attached to his scalp.
''Hi there, Discord!'' Spike chirped. ''And Angel?''
''Hi,'' Angel spoke.
Discord glanced at the two. ''Oh, yes, well, Angel here will be joining us today with our Ogre's and Oubliette's game so make him feel welcome with our joyful presence!''
Spike nodded. And then got up from his throne to shake the rabbit's paw.
Discord slid between the two and yanked Spike away to drew himself closer to the white rabbit. He pointed his finger at the muscular stallion, still sitting on Rainbow Dash's throne. ''That is Big Macintosh, a bit feisty that one but overall a sweet, shy, independent and strong friend that will always have your back. Although, he doesn't talk much.''
Angel looked at the muscular stallion who was trying to get Spike's head out of a box because he was suddenly yanked off by the draconequus. He rolled on his back, wiggled his legs, and giggled immaturely.
But all of a sudden, Spike was thrown across the room which had got the rabbit's attention. He looked at the dragon rubbing his head unpleasingly. He soon shook his head out of his dizziness.
''Okay!'' He sprung onto the map table. ''Let's now enter the world of Ogre's and Oubliette's!''
''Let's do it at Fluttershy's cottage this time, shall we?'' Discord informed.
''Yeah, whatever.'' Spike shrugged as the draconequus hastily snapped his talons.
* * *
Rarity was having her horn filed by one of the spa ponies, Lotus Blossom. Whereas, Fluttershy was having a pleasant massage with Aloe Vera, another one of the spa ponies.
Soon, Rarity breathed in the fresh air and turned to her friend with a question.
''So, Fluttershy,'' said Rarity. ''How is your relationship with Discord going?''
''Oh! He is such a big softie! He does whatever I say! Except, well, the little mishap with Angel Bunny...''
''Well, I hate to take Discord's side but Angel Bunny is kind of the problem most of the time.''
''I know,'' Fluttershy muttered. ''But he thinks that I'm taking Discord's side because ᴵ...ˡᶦᵏᵉ...ʰᶦᵐ.''
Rarity's eyes widened. ''Do you?'' she asked with a smirk.
Fluttershy stuttered as the two spa ponies were looking at her intriguingly to get her answer till they got transported to their other spa treatment where they were draped in robes and relaxing in a room. Lotus Blossom and Aloe Vera were spilling hot water on the rocks to get the stream flowing in the room.
Fluttershy tapped her hooves together as Rarity kept looking at her with a smirk.
''It's nothing to be ashamed of, darling,'' Rarity assured her. ''Besides, the rest of Ponyville already know about your little, um...feelings. Romantic, darling, not platonic.''
''C-Can we talk about something else now?'' Fluttershy asked quietly.
Rarity sighed. ''Fine, I can see that this is making you uncomfortable,'' she pointed out as she examined the uneasy expression on her pegasus friend's face, reading all of the signs.

Exuberantly, the four figurines were dressed in their character's costumes.
Discord was Captain Wuzz, wearing a green suit and having his white mane be longer and swiftly move. He was holding a bow and arrow to shoot for any enemies in their way.
Big Macintosh was Sir McBiggun, wearing black armour with a unicorn horn and levitating a sword beside him.
Spike was Garbunkle, wearing a blue wizard's hat and an old magician's robe to match with it. He had a long white beard with a brown staff and a gem at the end of it in his claw.
And last but not least, Angel had created his character as Devingel, wearing devil horns on his head and holding a sacred staff in his paw.
They all stood firmly as all of the cards had charged up the hill, ready to fight. The four heroes growled at them whilst holding their weapons with a tight grip. The Squizard called for his minions to bounce off of the cliff.
The others charged towards them and started slicing off their heads but Discord had added a new feature. He made the cards grew back their heads every time it had gotten sliced off to make this game even more interesting.
Garbunkle was running alongside Sir McBiggun until they stopped to see Devingel bickering with Captain Wuzz as usual again. With a frustrated sigh, they came to an unspoken agreement and led all of the cards to chase after the other two pairs.
Captain Wuzz and Devingel screamed as they ran as fast as they could but stopped at a dead end. They both hugged each other tight, squealing in fright. Until Angel opened up his eyes and backed away from the fearsome embrace.
''What am I so afraid about?'' Angel asked, fearlessly. ''I'm Angel and I can just blast all of these curs back to where they came from with the sacred old staff I've created.''
After he had said that, his staff was eaten by a card and made him jump onto the draconequus.
''I'm going to die! I'm not ready to die! I'm still too young! Please, I regret everything that I've done! This was all his doing!'' Angel accused, pointing at the draconequus.
Captain Wuzz stifled a laugh, causing the rabbit to glare at him.
''If it wasn't for you constantly bickering all the time then none of this would've happened to us!''
''If it wasn't for you adding a new feature then those cards would've been dead and we would've won!''
''Oh, come on! It was for interesting purposes!''
''To kill us!''
''Why, you-''
Garbunkle and Sir McBiggun shared a glance at one another. ''Oh dear,'' they said in unison.
* * *
As Fluttershy was relaxing in the mud bath, she soon felt a shudder going through her spine. Fluttershy accidentally splashed the mud and shivered to herself.
''What's the matter, darling?'' Rarity asked in concern.
''I, well, am suggesting that maybe leaving Discord and Angel together isn't a good idea?''
''Why, whatever do you mean, darling?'' Rarity questioned, raising an eyebrow.
Fluttershy played with his hooves. ''Well, I have this feeling that they are fighting with each other or something again.''
''Please, darling.'' Rarity laid cucumbers on her eyes again. ''I assure you that there should be nothing to be worried about.''
''But this is Angel!'' Fluttershy exclaimed. ''And Discord!''
''Well, yes, but...''
''Maybe Discord is using his chaos magic against him again. Or maybe they are having a war inside my cottage! What if they-''
''Darling!'' Rarity interjected. ''Spa treatments are for stress-free and relaxation. And besides, didn't you say you had talked some sense into them and scared them with more sessions if they didn't behave on the first one?''
''Well, yes, but-''
''But nothing!'' she exclaimed. ''Stress-free and relaxation.''
Fluttershy gulped and nodded. ''Stress-free and relaxation,'' she repeated, trying to get into the zone.
* * *
As Discord and Angel were still constantly bickering with each other, Spike couldn't take it anymore so he ended up burst himself into a roar of anger.
''Ugh!'' he grumbled. ''I can't take it! Hey, look! There are still cards in front of you, looking confused! How about you just stop this feud between one another and put it aside each other and just get on with the game!''
Discord and Angel shared a glance at each other and then at the enemies. They then came to an unspoken agreement and had weapons be tossed to them by Garbunkle and Sir McBiggun. They charged for their enemies and started slicing off all of their heads, but unfortunately, they all kept growing back.
''How can you do this with that annoying feature you added?!'' Devingel asked.
Captain Wuzz rubbed his chin, then a lightbulb struck above his head. He whispered into the short one's ear and had him nod his head.
Devingel secretly crept behind the Squidzard as Captain Wuzz was trying to distract all of the cards and especially the leader of them all.
He got out a microphone. ''Hello, cardares and gentlecards! Welcome to the one and only Ogre's and Oubliette's Got Talent!''
They all tilted their card heads in confusion.
Captain Wuzz started juggling cards in his paw and claw, having Garbunkle and Sir McBiggun cheerfully hoofbump each other. However, Devingel was one step closer into...
*EEK!*
...slicing the Squizard's head off.
All of the cards gasped in shock.
''Oh no!'' said one of the cards. ''We're going to-''
Before they could finish off their sentence, they all started to fade away because, without their leader, they are nothing.
Garbunkle and Sir McBiggun then hopped off of the cliff and down to the ground with their other teammates.
''You did it!'' Garbunkle said. ''I always knew you two had it in you.''
''And you did it...'' Sir McBiggun started.
''Together!'' they both said in unison.
''This was fun,'' Devingel commented. ''I want to play another round of Ogre's and Oubliette's!'' His excitement dimmed down once he saw the faces of his teammates. ''And Discord, I'm sorry for what I said earlier.''
Discord nodded. ''Me too.''
Spike whispered to Big Macintosh. ''I ship it already.''
One hour later into the game, the door of the cottage quietly creaked to reveal a yellow pegasus standing in the doorway. Her eyes were soon laid on her pet rabbit on top of the draconequus' shoulder. They were all doing their traditional Guys' Night dance.
''It's Guys' Night! Oh, yeah! Having fun now! Oh, yeah!'' they chanted in unison.
She giggled to herself. ''Looks like everything was alright after all.''
And there goes for the old saying: yesterday's enemy can be today's friend.

Isn't it a shame that Discord and Angel never reconciled with each other in the actual show?
