Seven months have passed since the liberation of Earthat the hands of Commander Jonathan Shepard. After utilizing a fourth option of the Crucible Superweapon to exile the Reapers to a dimension they can never return from, the galaxy has slowly, but surely, begun to pick up the pieces of the war.

Now, Shepard leads the crew of the newly-recovered and rebuilt Normandy SR3 to a distant system outside Citadel Space. A Prothean signal akin to that of a Beacon has made itself known. Admiral Hackett deploys Shepard and his reformed crew to the source of the signal, a lone, uninhabited planet and moon dubbed Equis Prime.

However, the mission soon takes a drastic change of course when the crew of the Normandy discover the planet is not uninhabited after all. Can a world of friendship and magic and its inhabitants survive in the vast, treacherous expanse that is the Galaxy?
