"Ahh....what the heck happened?" Fredric said as he tried to get up on the hard ground he sleep on, 'okay I didn't sleep on the ground, I should be sleeping on my bed' He thought but when he tried to scratch his nose he discovered something

"WHAT THE-" He was cut short from his panic as he fell on his back with an audible 'Thud'. "Ouch!...that hurt like hell"

'Wait....Pain!?, then that means I actually die in my Bed with no one but....me, No! If I died then what's this? The Afterlife?' Fredric thought as he tried to find an explanation on how he is one second dying in his bed to becoming a Griffin with weird coloring.

"Fuck this I don't care if this is the Afterlife or I somehow reincarnated as a Griffin!" Fredric scream in frustration

After a few minutes of Calming down he tried to walk because of his new body he thought that he need to learn to use it, but No he somehow walk run and even fly as if he has this kind of body since birth.

"Well I'll be damn....I can fly anywhere with this bad boys" he said as he flair his wings in the air to fly again but this time he will have to Investigate if there's any satient being in this area

After flying for a few minutes Fredric spotted a Village thanks to his new eyes that can see far away, he decided to land near it and just walk in to avoid suspicion.

After walking for another minute he was block by a few Griffins saying "Halt where did you came from?!" Said by one of the Griffin that is clearly the leader of the group.

"I'm just passing through, I don't mean any harm my fellow Griffins" Fredric said as he raise his arms to gesture surrender

"What is your business here in the forest?" Asked on of the Griffin

"I'm here because I spotted the village while I'm traveling so I thought that I can find somewhere to stay" Fredric answer as friendly as possible, he don't want to take chances of a fight

As the three talk to themselves to figure out what to do with Fredric, he was observing the group and found that they don't have any weapons and they look like farmers rather than anything.

"Alright you can come to our village, there's a lot of unknown Griffins coming here because of this Civil war so we don't have time to question" the leader of the group said as they walk back to the village

After seeing them walk away he too tried to catch up to them to ask a question, "wait did you say Civil War?"

"Yes, because of it this whole Kingdom is suffering and the small villages are being pillage by enemy soldiers or bandits" replied by the leader which the others nod in understanding

Fredric now know what he needed to do so he can have the legacy and family he's missing from his past life, and that is to help this suffering Griffins.

It's now noon when they arrived at the village and what Frederic saw made him felt sympathy for how bad the living conditions was in this village. The houses looks like it's been torn by a war, the farmland looks like a wasteland, the surroundings look like a squatters area and Fredric knows that the water is unsanitize. 'This Civil War must be worse than I thought for this to happen' he thought as they walk around the village, after a minute of walking they arrived at what looks like a town hall, once they enter he saw a elder Griffin sitting on a comfy chair at the center.

"Good afternoon Elder we are here because of this Griffin that wants to live here in the village" said the leader of the group as he lower his head in the sign of respect, the Elder just nodded and look at Fredric for an explanation

"Yes, greetings to you Elder I am Fedric and I come to rest for a while in this village" Fredric said as he lower his head as well

"Then for how long will you stay because it you probably know we don't have anything to offer you food" said the Elder

"Then perhaps I can help with that all I need is a workshop so I can help with your problem and maybe more" Fredric said as he look straight to the Elder eyes

"Pray tell what you can do to help my Griffins so they won't starve" said the Elder with visible fondness of the Ideas

"I can help develop this land so no Griffin will starve again, so we can live with no nightmares that the War will affect us or kill us, so no Griffin will be afraid to face the future, the time is now for changes" Fredric said as he tried to inspire the Elder and the three Griffins in this room

After a moment of silence the Elder begun to shred tears as he somehow got a raging fire of emotions he can't control but manage to said "I can tell you can become a great Leader but you need to show us first how can you can keep what you said"

I just look at him and smirk as I already have an Idea to do so all I need now is the eyes and ears of all the Griffins here for this to work, but Fredric can tell he just need to let them see the future they will have to believe in.

'This is it my chance of having a legacy and maybe even a family so that I can finally build something that can insure a future for others all I need to do is make it happened' Fredric thought as he walk out the town hall to find the work shop needed in making his tools for the village and their future.

Guys if your wondering what he looks like we'll he has a good body build, his head feathers is color gray, and the rest is light gray up to his wings, his eyes are blood red.

Also don't worry he won't have overpowered weapons(yet) so just the normal for a medieval era(but that will be replace soon)
