Pheonix Quill wasn't quite sure why he had woken up at first. He was dazed, a combination of the lingering drowsiness and the sudden awakening. Pheonix found himself in a cold sweat, with the hairs on the back of his neck bristling, while the rest of him remained frozen. The mare stepped over the threshold of the doorway, officially entering his room. No longer did he have an illusion of sanctuary. Her quiet steps stopped for a moment, and her magic burned brightly again for a single moment as she used it to close the door behind her with an ominous click.
Then there was darkness again. Once it might have been a safe, comforting darkness, knowing his window was secured and bolted shut. Now, it was the opposite of comforting. Phoenix was trapped in here. His ears strained, catching the subtle shifting of her hooves and the sounds of her breathing.
"Hello, Phoenix," Her voice was soft and quiet, yet at the same time loud and disturbing. "I'm s-sorry for disturbing you..." The sound of a hoof sliding along the metal bedframe followed. That made him panic. Could she be capable of killing him? He had seen the dead things she had left around his house, and that blood around her face... And now he was completely at her mercy. Maybe he should choose his future words more carefully.
"I'm not crazy!" Dancer exclaimed, though her tone did little to convince him.

The magic shackles continued to tighten around his legs, the pressure she was applying growing rapidly more painful by the second. Phoenix hissed out a breath between his clenched teeth.
“Call me..." she searched for the right words. "...pretty, c-call me a pretty mare... Call me lovely." It was a soft demand, but the force in her magical shackles was all the persuasion he needed.

He looked at his alarm clock.
