“I don’t think he’s going to make it, Caster. After everything that I’ve done…and it was all for nothing.” I said as I was staring at the bright city. The lights of the city were bright. I can almost see those creatures that were sleeping on the ceiling of the city as they glowed. Looking like stars. This part of the world is always night. Always dark, but I’m starting to like it here more than in any other city.

I can almost hear every creature in the city. As they walk around the streets. Some creatures were dancing, singing, selling products, and chatting. There are so many different kinds of creatures in this city, and yet, I haven’t seen a single pony. All but one.

Just sitting here makes me miss my home. I missed the sweet smell of Mom’s cooking. It’s sad how I have to leave them, but it was the right thing to do. I have to leave them. Because I want to save them. Caster quickly looked at me, shocked at what I'd just said. He placed his paw on my shoulder. I turned to look at him.

“Now hold on, kid. You’re telling me that we’re too late?” he asked. I slowly nodded at him. I can feel tears flowing in my eyes as I thought about the fact that I’m going to lose my brother. I wanted to hold my tears, but I couldn’t.

“Now, don’t let yourself down, kid! You’ve got guts, a strong one. I know things have
been a little off, but we’re not going to stop. You’ve been fighting for his life for months! Now you’re going to give up?!... Listen, we’re going to save your brother. Understand?” He stared into my eyes, hoping that I won’t lose my hopes of saving my brother.

“I know that you’re not going to give up. Because that’s not the kid that I know.” he
smiled. I smiled back and wiped my tears away. I stared back into the city. “Look, “ he continued, “the big tournament is just a couple more days. So we still got time to fight. Alright?” I nodded. I know that we still have more time to earn money, but I don’t think that we’ll ever make it.

Because Tucker will ruin everything. But this time, I am not going to let him stop me.
