Introduction: Another adventure to a planet of ponies

It was almost two in the morning, I really should be sleeping. Doubly so since I just got back from that other world a few hours ago. But who needs sleep when you have memories to write down. Opening up a Google Doc, I started to write down anything that came to mind from my time there. It definitely wasn’t organized but it could be fixed later. The only thing that mattered was that it was readable.

The more important details like names and some locations were more easily recallable than less critical things like equipment names. Small details came and went quickly, sitting on the edge of my mind like trying to recall a dream. Nothing much else could come to mind after getting down a few of ponies personalities. So now, at four in the fucking morning, it was time to actually sleep. Saving the document, I shrugged my gear off onto the chair including my trusty sidearm and helmet. Plopping onto the bed, it felt like heaven compared to laying on floors and the occasional wall. It felt colder than it should’ve been. It was probably nothing to worry about since it’s almost December. Soon after I was out like a light.

Cold air rushed past my ears, the sound almost deafening. Gravity tugged towards my head. I was upside down. My eyes opened to reveal how high I was off the ground. The cloud layer was far below me, but approaching very quickly. Or more accurately I was approaching it rapidly. I’d pass through it within a minute or two. After that all that would be left for me to hit would be the solid ground.

I didn’t feel scared like I should be. I don’t know why, maybe after experience enough you just accept death when he comes knocking. The cloud layer shot past me, leaving only the green fields below to hit. So I guess the Big G has no more use of me. Is this how I die? I closed my eyes as the ground got closer, hoping for a quick death. I slammed into the ground head first with a sickening crack, my body crumpling from the impact.

"God! Fuck! Oh god... why!" I shouted out in agony, hardly having the capacity to notice my voice being more feminine.

I looked down at my body only to realize that it’s changed. Instead of a badly mangled human body; it was a fucked up body of a pony instead. My new set of hind legs were bent at grotesque angles. The bone had punched through the flesh of one leg, blood oozing out it only to stain into my dirty grey coat of fur. Tears started streaming down my face out of my control. Blood had started to stain the grass red as well, and there was nothing I could do to stop it. I laid down looking up, just staring up at the sky as everything started to fade. The sound of rapid hoofsteps reached my ears as I slipped into unconscious.

The rhythmic beeping of a heart monitor was the first thing to reach my ears as I awoke. My ears twisted around seemingly on their own as they focused on any noise. Opening my eyes, the familiar sterile environment of a hospital room greeted me. To the side of the hospital bed was a heartbeat monitor and an IV drip, both of which were hooked up to me. The IV tube fed blood into my left foreleg from a mostly empty blood bag. What happened? Why am I in a hospital? The door opened, and a stallion wearing a doctor’s jackets walked in.

"Well looks like somepony’s finally awake. I’m surprised considering the extent of your injures. I’m Dr. Bone Setter." The stallion spoke in a professional but still friendly tone.

"Oh, well I’m... uh... I can’t remember my own name. What happened to me?" I asked quietly, unable to recall anything from before waking up here.

"Well the buck who brought you in said that he saw you hit the ground and heard your screams of pain.” Bone Setter explained. "He flew you in late last night. When you came in both of your hind legs were broken, as well as you having had near fatal blood loss. Luckily you seem to be recovering quickly, so you should only be here for a few more days."

Dr. Setter pulled out a clipboard from his jacket along with a pencil and started to write down something before walking back out, shutting the door as he left. I just stared back up at the ceiling with a soft sigh. So I still don't know what happened to me. Maybe I got attacked by something? I guess I'll just have to wait. Time seemed to pass rather quickly as suddenly Dr. Setter came back in followed by a unicorn mare who was presumably another doctor or nurse of some kind. The mare introduced herself as Nurse Rainy, who apparently had a knack for memory magic. She explained to me that I might feel a bit lightheaded or feel a chill run down my spine, and to not worry about that as they were simply side effects of the spell. After she used the spell, she told me that any memories prior to me waking up here were still there, but any attempt at retrieving them was met with backlash by something non-magical in origin. Nurse Rainy grabbed the clipboard from him, probably writing down my condition. After which they had done a few tests to see how well I had recovered.

"Well you seem to have mostly healed other than your memories. Before we let you rest a bit more, lets test your magical strength. Could you try lifting the glass on the table?" Dr. Setter asked.

"Um... I can try."

I focused on the glass on the bedside table, and a weak magical aura wrapped around the glass. I only managed to get it about an inch above the table before my magic gave out, causing it to fall back onto the table. I quietly sighed in defeat. Another reason to rest I guess.

"Well looks like you're suffering from severe magical burnout. Just rest and try not to use our magic. We'll check up on you again tomorrow dear." The Nurse told me as they both left, leaving me to rest. I laid my head back against the pillow, and the sound of rain drops hitting against the window drowned out the silence.

I'm not abandoning my Fallout Equestria: just Arma things, I'm just working on this since school has just started up again for me. Once I get adjusted to it I will start working on it again.
