Twilight was laying in her bed quietly beside Starlight, it was a peaceful evening in ponyville. Pinkie Pie was finishing up her last shift at SugarCube Corner, Rainbow dash had just left wonder bolt practice, The student 6 were all at their dorms, Rarity was At the boutique, Applejack was eating dinner with her family, Fluttershy was at her cottage feeding angel who was most likely refusing to eat unless the carrots were specifically chopped into small pieces, And there Twilight and Starlight were, just laying in bed watching the sunset. It was silent for 3 minutes until Twilight decided to finally break the silence.
“Starlight..” Asked Twilight the light purple unicorn.
“Yes?” Replied the unicorn.
“Do you really love me.. it seems like we haven’t been spending much time together.” The purple alicorn asked in a sad tone.. Starlight then turned facing twilight in the covers.
“No matter how many times you ask, it will always be yes!..Has all this work been getting to you, maybe you should take a break soon. Told Starlight to the alicorn.
“Maybe.. it’s just..but no! I can’t take a break! Said Twilight as if she was zoning out from reality trying to snap back in. “I can’t take a break..every time I take a break, I always end of having tons of paper work to do.. and it only adds up to more stress! The alicorn exclaimed grabbing her face.
Starlight took a deep breath and then spoke. “Twilight.. of course I understand you want to do your best to keep the school running and doing as much paper work as you can in one day, but your mental health is just as important. Life isn’t easy, but you don’t have to make it harder than it already is.. It’s the same with me you know, Trixie has always came to me complaining about how I’m rarely able come her lunches anymore during the weekdays, but we still figured it out and we can too. She told Twilight in a sentimental caring voice.
“But then, how will I get all the paperwork done! That would practically be abandoning it for my own selfish needs!” Twilight said while moving from her current position slamming her face into her pillow worried and stressed out.
“Well, one you wouldn’t be “abandoning it for your own selfish needs” because your mental health is important, and two, you seem like you need the break so I could handle some of your paper work.?” Said starlight thinking she actually did something.
Twilight got quiet for a split second. “Giving all my work to you wouldn’t solve my problems! It would only make you a stressed mess..like me. Said Twilight in a sad tone.
Starlight knew of something else she could do but first she pulled Twilight into a comforting hug which suddenly made Twilight feel a little better.
“Twilight, you are not a mess. Being stressed is normal and giving me all your work for a little wouldn’t be such a problem. Plus, a lot of students don’t come to me anyway. Said starlight in a jokingly manner.
“Really.. you would do that for me.?” Said the alicorn in a touched tone.
“Of course I would.” Said Starlight while lightly nuzzling Twilight on the cheek. Twilight smiled.
“We should probably get downstairs for dinner now, Spike Is probably wondering why we are not down there yet. Said the alicorn in a happier tone
Meanwhile..
Spike was sitting at the golden table with 3 plates of food sitting right in front of him. The drake slammed his face in one of the mini bowls of mashed potatoes on his plate. “Seriously!!” He said to himself. “It has been 30 minutes since our normal eating time, AND I prepared this food for them just for them to not come down.” “Oh who am I kidding, they are probably having “fun” right now..” The dragon said dreading to think about what he just said. “Well..more for me I guess! I’ll see if Big Mac and Discord wanna come over for a game of OnO..” The dragon said.
The next day.
It was morning, it was early, Who knows what time, it was before they had to leave to go to the school of friendship. Twilight and Starlight had decided to eat breakfast in bed today.
“I’m so sorry for getting all stressed out and thought we were distancing away from eachother, nothing can break our love.” Said Twilight smiling.
“Twi, you don’t have to apologize, and you are exactly right nothing can break our love. Said the beet red unicorn.
At the school
“So you see.. you should never lie because telling a fib will never make anything better, it will only make things worse, trust me. I once got my whole family in a hospital because I told a lie! It started when..” Said the country pony still telling the story.
“Honesty.” Cozy glow thought to herself sitting in applejacks honestly class with a fake smile on her face. “Oh! Big mistake. These pony’s know nothing, but friendship is indeed powerful, not friendship is magic or whatever. Fluttershys class is more useful than this crap. Although I don’t like any of them. Kindness is the key to manipulation which makes her class more useful, all I need to do now is get in touch will a certain magic draining expert, i mean, I know i’m a pony but considering how much he probably hates the mane 6 I'm sure he would be willing to help a pony out.. oops! I need to pay attention now. Cozy glow thought to herself.
“So I told Big Mac! “Because if I let you do all the talkin’ you’ll get us in trou-.” Said Applejack telling the students suddenly interrupted by a loud bell. “Oh! It looks like that means it’s time for lunch!! Bye everyone!! Don’t forget!! Lying never is right!! “Said Applejack in her normal happy tone.
“Lying is never right” ugh, please shut up with that crap.” Cozy glow thought to herself as she walked out of the classroom.
“Soon enough, all of equestia will be mine and all these prissy ponies will bow to me..just you wait..MWAHAHAHA. ” The pink pony will blue curls whispered to herself doing a small laugh.
One pony in the hallway looked at her like a crazy pony.
“Oh! Don’t mind me just recapping a amazing book I read! Said Cozy glow. “Phew that was close.” Whispered cozy glow to herself.
