The two were the last of their kind, and lived on a treacherous planet. One day, in that dreary wasteland, there came a rainbow. Rainbows had not happens for hundreds of years on the post-apoxcliptic planet, and Time and Space were frightened. 'Fear me not my little ponies.' Came a warm, kindhearted voice.Then, in all the grey darkness, a brilliant white light came out of the rainbow, and came straight at the two ponies. Terrified, they ran. The ran for the safest place they knew; the mountains of the gods, the mounts of the Elementals. They ran and they ran, finally spotting a little crevice. The two foals crowed themselves into the cold, Stoney embrace of the crevice. But the light was right in front of them. Sobbering and whimpering, the two were very surprised to find a regal, pure white hoof come down to them. They stopped there cuing, the curiosity peaked as three more white hooves came out, and reached for the ground. What happened next was something akin to a nuclear explosion. A brilliant rainbow of Colours shot out from where the being's hooves had touched the ground, and washed over the dreary land. The grey sky was turned blue, the dirt went back to a lively, tan brown. Colour came back to the land as it was touched by the wave of rainbow. But Time and Space did not notice that, oh no, for the beautiful, regal alicorn in front of them had their full attention. The being was tall, at least twelve feet. Its ethereal rainbow mane lashed about the air, as if there was a wind on the dead planet. It's wingtips where each painted a colour of the rainbow, it's magnificent horn had golden ridges. The light literally came from it's coat. But there was one strange thing about this creature, it had no cutie mark. " I am Harmony." It announced in an ambitious, gender-free voice. "Your planet has fallen out of Harmony, and so has died. But I am offering you a second chance, a new, living planet to make up for the Alicorn's mistakes. Will you accept my offer?" It asked. The last two Alicorns, Time and Space, turned to each other, looking into each other's eyes. Then, they both nodded. Smiling gently, Harmony's horn flared to life, a rainbow aura cloaking it. Suddenly, there was a bright flash, and they were here, on the new planet called Harmony. "My little ponies, I am speeding up your aging, so that you may rule this new planet of yours. Then, I will create more of your kind, but fully aged. You, Time, will forever be known as King Chronus, Lord of Time. Space, you shall now be called Queen Astraea, Ruler of Space. Do well my little ponies, and your new planet, Harmony, will never die." With that, the being was gone, and the wonderful land of Harmpny  was born" Celestia smirked. She was the personal student of Queen Astraea, Ruler of Space. Her parent's Prince Sol and High Priestess Lumina, high ranking positions didn't hurt matters that much either. Her parents being Sol, Master of Fire, and Lumina, Lady of the Light, made her Princess Celestia, Controller of the Sun. " "CELLY, CELLY! WHERE ARE YOU CELLY?" Came the high pitched, enuthuastic voice of Celestia's least favorite pony, the Queen's only other student, Lady Luna, Controller of the Moon. Luna had recently arrived at the palace, and since her parents were Lord Morpheous of Sleep, and Lady Nyx of the Dark, Luna was a fairly low ranking pony. That's what made Celestia angry. Celestia had gotten to where she was because she was the King and Queen's favorite niece, and her parents still had to shower them with gifts in order for Celestia's dream of become Queen Astaea's student, to become a reality. This pony, this, Luna, had done none of that. She had done nothing in order to become the Queen's student! And yet, here she was. " Oh there you are Celly, Astraea says it's time for History." the annoying little blue blob happily said, bouncing up and down. Celestia stood up. That was another thing that irked her, Luna was just 5, and Celestia was 12 when she became the Queen's student. "Alright Luna, I'll be there in a moment." Celestia replied, a scowl on her mouth. Luna just nodded and teloported off in a haze of blue light. Celestia sighed, and frowned. "You know you look better when you're smiling.'" Came a young mare's voice. Jumping up, Celestia wheeled around, surprised. "Oh hello... Erm I don't believe we've met." She said to the smiling teenaged female. Her mane was a soft, muted crimson red, and her coat was a pastel butterscotch yellow. Her flank was adorned with an off-white quill dipped in a vial of ink a shade dark than her mane. Her eyes, teal blue, sparkled in the sunlight. "Oh, sorry. You can call me Faust." She said in a bubbly voice. "Well, it's nice to meet you Faust, my name is Celestia" She responded with a kindly, albeit fake, smile. She was now running late. "I'm terribly sorry Faust, but I must get going. Queen Astrea wishes to speak to me." Celestia said, with a gentle flip of her pastel pink mane. "Oh, well then I'll see you around Celly." Came the snickering reply. "CELLY?! WHO THE HAY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! NOPONY CALLS ME CELLY!" But Faust had already gone in a flash of pale crimson magic. " But Faust had already gone in a flash of pale crimson magic. ~~~ ~~~ "Celestia, please put your book away! I am going to teach you about the History of my original planet, Illsilum.." Came a soft, mothery voice. In front of Celestia stood her favorite pony ever, Queen Astraea, Ruler of Space. "Astra", as she prefered to be called, was what they called a "True" Alicorn, that is, a being around 7 feet in height, with the ability to perform sacred, high-level magic, a horn at least a foot and a half long, and four wings that they could fly with. Astra was one such pony, but as a sign of respect, herself and other True Alicorns, hid their second pair of wings so that King Chronos, Lord of Time, would be the only one with four wings. Astra was white in colour, her wings dipped in a dusk colored sky. Her mane and tail where said to be Space itself, as it always looked like such. Her eyes were a kind, motherly orange, the same colour as her wings. Her legs darkened into the same colour as her eyes and wingtips. Her eyes were accented in a dark purple, and her golden regalia shone true too her status. Celestia's teacher closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Today, my little Alicorns, I will teach you about the Elementals." Celestia held back a squee. "Please turn to page ten of your history nooks." Astra politely asked, floating over two copies of 'Before Now' by Historia, One of the two Keepers of the Record of All Things. Celestia's horn lit up with a lively yellow glow, as she opened up the book and went to page ten, 'Life on Illsilum'. "Please look to the heading entitled 'The Elementals'" Their teacher asked kindly. Chapter One: Life on Illsilum The Elementals The Tweleve Elementals and the Six Supreme Elementals where representatives of the earth and her true spirit. Alicorns came from all over too worship them, ask for their guidance, and study under them. The Elementals were in pairs of twos, making six elements. The Six Sacred Elements were as follows, Fire, Earth, Air, Water, Light, Dark, and Metal. Each element had it's own attributes, which they used to form the mythical Elements of Harmony. The Element and it's respective properties, names of their repersenitives, traits, Element of Harmony, Supreme Elemenral, etc. are listed below. FIRE The Element of Loyalty Ares and Hestia S.E. Pietas -Lie in the Southern Volcanos of Fyor -temper, brave EARTH The Element of Honesty Saturn and Ceres S.E. Veritas -Lie in the Eastern Plains  of  Earthias -stubborn, hardheaded AIR The Element of Kindness S.E. "Philo" short for Philophrosyle Jupiter and Iris -lie in the Western Mountains of Auros -calm, patient WATER The Element of Generosity S.E. Porus Neptune and Venus -lie in the Northern Iceburg of Aecor -bubbly, mood swings CELESTIAL The Element of Magic S.E. Hecate Hades and Aigle -Light and Dark magic -lie in the Tall Mountains of Aelste -wise, smart, innovate ENERGY The Element of Laughter S.E. Risus Mercury and Tyche lie in the Eastern Crater of Energos -energetic, bubbly The Six Supreme Elementals Pietas, Veritas, Porus, 'Philo'phorsyle, Hectate, and Risus are the Six Supreme Elementals. Their job is to keep the earth in check. However, they do take on students, albeit rarely. They only take on students that possess extreme talent and/or magical poweress. Chapter Two: The Elements of Harmony One day, the Six Supreme Elementals came together. They discussed much at that meeting, but in the end, all that mattered was one thing to the Alicorns, the Six Supreme Elementals were gone, and in their place were five beautiful gems and a note. The day will come when you are no longer here, You have grown selfish and ignorant, You deserve us no more, But we foretell a time when you will need us. In our steed, We leave six magical stones, The Elements of Harmony, They shall be called. The Elements of Honesty, Generosity, Loyalty, Kindness, and Laughter Lie here. One day a spark shall foreshadow, The arrival of the sixth, The Element of Magic. Celestia raised up her elegant right hoof. "Queen Astraea, what happened to these, 'Elements of Harmony'?" She asked, with out waiting to be called on. Their beautiful queen walked towards her student. Kneeling down, so as to be eye-level with Celestia, Astra spoke. "Well Celestia, my ancestors took them, planning to melt them down in their rage. However, the students of the late Six Supreme Elementals stole and hid them in a crevice on the Mountains of the Elementals, where the Six Supreme Elementals had lived together. One day, your King Chronus and I found them, and we took them with us." Reliseation sparkled in Celestia's magenta eyes. "You mean-" "Yes my little alicorn, that very crevice that Time and I hid in, was the very same one that the Elements of Harmony were hidden in." Hey, Castaway here.
