Space Between

Neighsay is worried that he will not know what moment will come next. Tempest heard the kettle tooting and prepares it. She fetches it to him and sits near him and drink together. Neighsay tries to wait for the moment, even though he is sure that it will not. He just can take it anymore.

"I can't take it anymore" he said softly bowing his head and scratch with his hoof.

"Why? Was the coffee to hot to handle" Tempest said nervously and almost panicked.

"No, that's not the point. It's because... I..." Neighsay starts to get nervous of what he is gonna say because, what if Tempest rejected it. Tempest was waiting for the answer.

"You...What?" Tempest couldn't wait anymore.

"I... Like you..." Neighsay sighed after. Tempest got shocked but gave a simple answer.

"So... What is the problem?" Tempest answered, which made Neighsay in shock.

"I taught you wouldn't like me" Neighsay answered worried.

"I like you too, just because you are independent, responsible, respectful, kind, plus a little stubborn." Tempest said.

"Stubborn!?" Neighsay said in shock.

"Nah, just kidding" Tempest responded, which made Neighsay relieved.

"I don't like you, because I did have feelings for you too, Neighsay" Tempest said with a smile which made Neighsay blushed. Neighsay hugged her and she returned. They noticed that someone knocked on their door. They opened it and it was Grubber.

"Grubber, what are you doing here!?" Tempest answered in surprise.

"I am juth gonna remind you that it'th literally late, and you have to go now." Grubber said it seriously.

"I'm just gonna prepare, wait here" Tempest said with a small smile. "I guess this is goodbye" Tempest said with a frown.

"Don't worry, we will meet each other soon enough" Neighsay said it 100% positive.

"Well, Bye!" Tempest goes to the door, and Neighsay stops her and put his hoof on her hoof.

"What is it?" Tempest asked. Neighsay gets her poncho and her scarf and gets her ready by wearing it. "Thanks" Tempest simply answer. She kissed his cheek and wave him a goodbye. He didn't believe what she just done. He put his hoof on the cheek where Tempest kissed on and blushes and smile. They knew that they are going to be the best of "More than Friends"
