2012.- A mysterious object has landed in New Mexico, near the White Sands missile launch base. A team of researchers is sent in to take a closer look, and they are never heard from again.
Fast forward to 2024, and Max Petrus is working for the International Organization for Counter-Terrorism Measures. A violent ecological group known as Everfree has sprung up, and is causing anarchy worldwide. Is this a normal organized crime group, or something much more sinister?
