Meanwhile, while the cream colored t-rex was relaxing in the pond, in the lavender-like forest, up in the hills, Angel the little white nuralagus, was still waiting at the cave, covered with roots. Without Fluttershy, Angel was still able to find a little bit of good food for himself, but still, the place was very boring when the t-rex wasn't around. Either shying around or simply roaming around the place, humming her favorite melody.
Angel knew that it was a bad idea to leave the cave, because he was aware of how sad, protective and afraid can Fluttershy get, if she gets home early and doesn't find her favorite bunny. All Angel had to do, to not get Fluttershy somehow disappointed, was to be patient and stay around the cave and eat the best-looking grass that he can find. It was a simple yet boring task to do.
After another boring hour passed, Angel couldn't take it anymore. He finally decided it. He was going to find a new owner, who was going to do a better job than Fluttershy, and someone who wouldn't take a whole day to come back home from an adventure.
The nuralagus hopped away from his home, together with his new goal.
Meanwhile, far in the fields, where only small animals lived, there was this one dino that liked running there. She was one of the owners of the strongest legs in the dinosaur world. She was an ornithomimus with a pale blue skin and small rainbow feathers on her arms, tail and neck. Her eyes had the same magenta color as a jungle fuchsia, and her personality was just as loyal and confident as the teenager she was. She was Rainbow Dash.
"Oh YEAH! One more step and i'll break the record of creating circles in the fields!" As she said that, the dinosaur started running in huge circles again. But then she stopped and tripped herself over when she noticed Angel in her way, right at the last second. The nuralagus was shocked for a second, then thought that Rainbow might be perfect for him to be his new owner, sence she was careless, loyal, cool and awesome. "Ow..." The ornithomimus groaned. She scratched the back of her head, then she noticed the white rabbit behind her.
The dinosaur sighed, "What are you doing here, Angel?" Angel just hopped a bit closer to her, smiling and not being able to answer. "Aren't you, like, supposed to be with that t-rex Fluttershy or something?"
Angel just tilted his head down, frowned and crossed his forarms. Rainbow Dash senced that there's something off with the nuralagus, but she ignored that and asked, "Hey, would you.. like to have a small running competition with me?" Angel's eyes lit when he heard that, "I heard that you little bunnies are some of the fastest little creatures that exist! So let's check if it's true, by making a competition between us."
Angel liked the idea, and happily nodded.
"Great. The running competition will start later at sunset! Be sure to train yourself, Angel. See you later!" And just like that, Rainbow ran as fast as the wind. Angel knew that he had to train himself enough, to make Rainbow impressed and become his new owner.
Enough thinking about future owners! It was time to train for the later competition now.
For two hours in a row, Angel kept doing push-ups, cardio, squats and jogging. It was exhausting, but worth it. Angel was about to go for a third jog, when he heard Rainbow Dash's voice in the distance.
"Hey! Angel!" The pale blue dinosaur waved at the bunny from afar. Angel smiled and hopped towards his dino friend. "You ready?!" The nuralagus sighed and nodded when he reached his friend.
Both creatures got into a start position, ready for that one pterodactyl to screech, so they can start the race. When Rainbow heard the loud screeching, she ran as quickly as the wind, just like she always did. And Angel right behind her, not too far, not too close.
"Feeling like you gonna lose, Angel?" Rainbow Dash asked the nuralagus. She didn't got an answer from the white bunny, but a very determined look on his face. The blue dinosaur heard how his footsteps were slowly getting louder than few seconds ago. Then she saw with her own magenta eyes how the bunny ran faster than her. Angel finally outran her, as he was hoping. And Rainbow Dash, she was impresed. The whole time, the blue dinosaur was thinking that it's impossible for a bunny to beat a dinosaur in a running competition. But i guess things weren't the same for Angel. He passed the finish line, which was a single branch on the ground, and he won.
"Well, Angel," Said Rainbow Dash, "you won the race. Now what?"
Angel didn't say a word. He just hugged Rainbow's leg. Rainbow Dash almost stepped back, but she just hugged Angel back.
"Would you like to take a walk, Angel?" The blue ornithomimus asked again.
And this was Angel's chance. He nodded in agreement.
"Great! Let's go."
And then, both creatures ran towards the forest. In the right moment, the moon rised above all the stars in the sky, which made the whole place look very beautiful.
"Hey Angel. Would you like to stay at my place for the night?" Rainbow reccomended to the white nuralagus, "That t-rex, Fluttershy, probably won't come back till' tomorrow, so, what do you say?"
And finally, those were the words that Angel wanted to hear from Rainbow. He began to hop happily, while Rainbow just giggled at the white happy bunny.
"Haha, alright! Let's go now. It's getting late and i don't have the energy of fighting off enemies, so, c'mon!"
"Angel?" A soft yet strong voice called in the morning, "Angel? Angel..?"
"Angel? ANGEL?! Where are you!? I hope you're allright!"
The loud footsteps of the yellow t-rex could be heard.
"I'll find you, Angel!"
The sun rises as all of the prehistoric creatures wake up from their night sleep. That includes Rainbow and Angel, who were just going to Fluttershy's place. Rainbow thought of meeting the t-rex personally and to bring her pet bunny back.
"Again, Angel, you don't think that Flutters is concerned about you, being away from her?"
Angel didn't answer, like always.
When they went to Fluttershy's cave, they couldn't find anybody. Just insects and tiny birds, no t-rexes.
"Hm, wonder where she could be!"
"ANGEL!!"
Surprised Rainbow turned around, only to get scared by the giant cream colored t-rex running at full speed towards her and Angel. Out of reflexes, the blue dino covered her face with her upper arms, to not get easily eaten by the probably furious Fluttershy.
"Oh Angel, i'm so glad you're alright!"
Rainbow Dash removed her upper arms from her face and sighed in relief when she saw the t-rex nuzzling her little bunny. She didn't know on why Flutters was gone for a day and why Angel wanted exactly to be with her, but she was happy that the two creatures were together again.
