Of the many life questions we have, there is one subject that rarely comes up: How Winona became part of the Apple family? And so comes a rendition to when Applejack was but a little filly, and one day she finds Winona lost and alone. Like any child, she decides to bring her home in the hopes that her parents will let her keep the dog. But things get slightly complicated when the parents share concerns over whether Applejack is ready to have a pet or not. But during Equestria's bleakest hour of the season, one act of fate will change everything.
