Among another busy day, an interesting letter found it's company under the supervision of Princess Celestia. One from a far off world, stricken by war and terror - looking to find solace for the last of its less-than-lucky kind. A place of magic and majesty, a Kingdom fallen to ruins offers its last peasant to the stars, in a hope to find him shelter.
When the wish is granted, and the being arrives - he is determined to be in need of friends, of guidance, and rest for his wounds. But not all is fine and merry in Equestria, as perhaps the most kindest of offers bare the most insidious of consequences.
