Equestria's Corrupted Monarch
Rarity's Makeover
Previous ChapterNext ChapterRarity shot awake, panting and shaking in fear. Her front hooves supported her to sit up in the soft fluffy bed. Rarity's eyes shot around the room in fear, looking for any trace of the alicorn that had locked her and her friends up.
The room was dark, only a small candle on the nightstand next to the bed lit about a foot around it in all directions. The white unicorn flipped her hair back with her hoof as she exhaled in relief. It had been a nightmare.
She chuckled lightly to herself. Of course it was a nightmare! Twilight would never try to hurt them. The nerdy princess was one of her best friends, and far too sweet to hold any of the malice Rarity had dreamed her having.
Rarity's heart leapt into her throat and she jumped as a very quiet voice broke the silence, "Hey Rarity, how did you sleep?"
The fashionista's hair bobbed as she shot her head to look in the direction of the voice. Her heart pumped hard in her chest and she retreated to the far side of the large bed. The darkness was impenetrable though, the small candle doing nothing to show the speaker.
But the voice was easily recognizable, it was one Rarity had heard many times before.
"H-hey Twilight. Um, I slept well! Um, what are you... doing in my room darling?" Her voice sounded strained and overly-friendly. She lifted her blanket over herself like a filly protecting itself from the monster in her closet.
There wasn't a response for a moment, causing Rarity to sweat again, each moment of silence agonizing and terrifying. Her mind raced with fear, why wasn't Twilight speaking?
Finally, slow hoof steps started from farther in the room. Gradually growing louder and louder, before Rarity could see a purple hoof just barely within the light of the candle.
Rarity gulped staring down at the hoof, then up into the blackness of the room. "T-Twilight, you're scaring me dear, why are you being so quiet? Why are you in here watching me sleep?"
From the blackness came a glowing red magic, lightly lighting up the area around it, and Rarity screamed as Twilight's deranged eyes and demented smile were lit in red. The magic shot outwards and grabbed each of Rarity's limbs, lifting her out of the large bed.
The white unicorn struggled intensely against the alicorn's magic, thrashing her head and tail around and screaming as if being murdered right then and there.
Twilight groaned in annoyance and shoved a sock into Rarity's noisy mouth, muffling her squeals of fear.
The room spun as Rarity was tossed wildly into a hard wooden chair. She sat there dazed and dizzy for a moment, trying to take in what was happening as Twilight snapped the chairs metal shackles around each of her hooves, and one around her horn to hold her head in place. When the unicorn regained her composure, she squeezed her eyes closed and shook her head as much as she could, unable to voice her disapproval.
This part of the room was pitch black, the far away candle now useless. She darted her eyes around wildly trying to see anything she could. The hoof steps retreated deep into the room and then returned again. Rarity tried to speak, a quiet plead it sounded like. She moved her hooves around and the metal scratched painfully against her coat.
The red glow returned, and in its grasp appeared to be a syringe, Rarity noticed that it's contents appeared to be a deep green as it floated closer and closer to her. Her muffled scream returned and she thrashed harder in the chair, eyes never leaving the needle.
It stopped about half an inch from her right upper arm, before being plunged into the skin painfully. The cold thin metal broke through skin and muscle before finally touching the blood within. The plunger very slowly went down and the green liquid disappeared from the tank into her body.
Rarity hyperventilated and stared at the ceiling, not wanting to see the needle sticking out of her body. She squeaked as the metal was pulled back out quickly.
"There we are. Now that wasnt so bad was it Rarity?" The alicorn's voice sounded wrong, like the mocking of a parent soothing their scared child. Twilight didn't talk like this. She didnt DO this. What was happening? This wasn't Twilight.
The scared mare let out and 'mmph', another plead, a plead to be able to speak. Blood red magic gripped the sock in her mouth and yanked it free, leaving Rarity coughing for a moment and breathing hard as her airway was cleared.
"W-who are you? Why are you doing this?" The weak question came out.
The reply was instant, "Rarity you know who I am. I'm your good friend, Twilight! The Element of Magic, the princess of Equestria!"
The candle on the bedside table was slowly floated over in red magic, approaching the face of her attacker. The candles light slowly revealed her features. Twilight's purple fur was the first thing she saw, then came the brightening of her horn. But it was wrong, tinted black. Next were her eyes. They weren't just glowing red from the magic. They WERE red, a deep blood red like her magic. This was all that was lit by the small flame, and it was horrifying to the shaking unicorn. Like a floating evil face out of a horror movie.
The fat tears fell from Rarity's wide, terrified eyes as she took in the sight. This definitely wasn't Twilight. Something had stolen her mind, or maybe it was a changeling, or...
Her thoughts were interrupted as another needle poked into her leg and emptied its contents. She flinched and tensed up.
"Stop this, please stop! Tell me who you really are!" She shouted somehow sounding commanding.
Twilight drew the candle away from her face again, a small 'tsk tsk tsk' coming from her mouth. "Dont believe me? Well I guess that doesn't matter. I don't need you to believe me because I know that I am Twilight. And you, you are a pony in my way."
The unicorn looked at her arm as it began to tingle, and slowly a burning sensation took over.
"You and the rest of the elements can not be trusted in my plans for Equestria. You will all try to stop me, and I can't be having that. Its not my fault you can't see the genius of my plans."
Rarity's teeth ground together in pain, but Twilight was revealing her motives and she needed to know more. Maybe she could break through to her friend! "Twilight, we are your friends! We will support you whatever you do! We trust you and know that-" She grimaced as her leg started to burn as well, "-your judgment is good! Please, let us help you."
A small thoughtful 'hmm' emanated from the darkness, a flash of hope shone in Rarity's eyes.
Suddenly a pair of sharp scissors shot out of the dark right at Rarity's face. She screamed again and shut her eyes tight, but the scissors never made contact. She opened her eyes and saw them float above her head. Her stomach dropped as they opened and approached her perfect purple main.
"Twilight no please! I just had my mane done, please don't ruin it!" The first snip dropped a lock of shiny purple fur onto her lap. Rarity cringed, another tear rolling down her face. The burning on her arm and leg started to worsten and she had a hard time not groaning in pain.
Suddenly, she let out an ear piercing scream, her tongue flapping around from the force of her voice. The spot on her arm started to redden before melting fur and skin away, revealing raw muscle underneath. The unicorn became catatonic, no longer focusing on her precious mane.
She thrashed and screamed, hardly taking a breath before the next scream shot out. Her leg muscles tensed and twitched before reddening as well. A sizzling accompanied the melting flesh and a large section of Rarity's thigh was hollowed out by the acidic substance shot into her. Her muscles underneath twitched as cold air brushed against. Hot blood dripped around the edge of the wound onto the wood underneath her.
Twilight 'hmm'ed again, seemingly deaf to the horrible agonizing screams from the mare she was disfiguring. She spoke out loud as if Rarity would hear her, "interesting, the compound seems to affect the leg moreso than the arm. I wonder why that is..."
Realizing Twilight was talking, Rarity's eyes shot to the darkness where the alicorn's face was, her mouth dripping saliva as she screamed out, "WHY?! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? IT BURNS TWILIGHT! IT HURTS SO BA-A-AD!" The agonized pony sobbed the last word out before going slack and quietly crying, seemingly low on energy.
Twilight smiled, not that Rarity could see it, and continued her work on the unicorn's mane. She cut out large chunks of it without any method or care until it was just a few short, uneven tufts atop her head. Rarity continued to quietly sob, twitching and squealing every few seconds as a new draft of air brushed her exposed muscles. She clenched her teeth as a small tuft of fur fell right onto her thigh muscles and stuck to the sticky, sensitive flesh
Twilight stepped back to admire her work. It was good progress, but not nearly enough. She wanted Rarity to be disgusting, terrifying to look at. So she stepped back into the dark and used a night vision spell to look upon her supplies. She had a wide array of things to choose from. From potions to weapons to crazy looking tools, she chose a pair of pliers and reapproached the unicorn.
She frowned in annoyance as she noticed Rarity was breathing quietly, seemingly becoming accustom to the pain. That wouldn't do. Twilight's returning hoof steps caused Rarity to life her head again, her eyes were bloodshot and full of tears.
"Please, please, no more. It hurts. I won't try to stop you. I promise, just stop hurting me!" She panted.
Twilight floated the pliers to the fashion ponies mouth, "your word is not good enough Rarity, you are a very crafty liar. I've seen you interact with your customers."
Rarity opened her mouth to respond and Twilight shoved the pliers in, gripping a tooth. Rarity froze and looked down, a shuddering squeal sounded in her throat.
Twilight didn't give her time to think, she gripped the tooth hard and yanked. Rarity's screams renewed as her head was wrenched forward, the tooth's roots holding on for dear life. Twilight yanked again and again, the roots slowly loosening and a crunchy crack signaled that the tooth had popped free. Rarity shivered hard as blood pooled in her mouth and down her chin onto her chest, staining the loose tufts of hair from her mane red.
Rarity seemed to lose it in that moment, just loudly yelling "NO NO NO" over and over while thrashing her head which was still held in place by the horn shackle. Blood splattered out of her mouth and onto Twilight's fur as she continued to yell.
Twilight continued on, pulling out a tooth, then skipping over a tooth, then pulling the next tooth, leaving her with large gaps between teeth and causing large amounts of blood-saliva mixture to roll out of the unicorn's mouth and cover her chest and lap with the red sticky liquid. Each yank caused a short scream from Rarity, before she was silent again.
When Twilight was done with this task, she took another look at her master piece, still not feeling pleased. The unicorns mouth hung open and her limbs hung limply, clearly tired from all the pain and struggling.
The alicorn set the blood-splattered pliers aside and floated up four more syringes. She liked the effect they left on the ponies poor flesh, so she shot four more into her. One on her flank, one on her lower left front hoof, one on her neck, and one on her cheek. Within minutes, four more disgusting, bloody holes appeared revealing muscle, sinew, and bone beneath.
The one on her cheek sizzled straight through to show her teeth behind them. It was a large hole, edged by blood and small chunks of cheek flesh that hung off loosely. At this point Rarity only had weak squeals in her, and her tears had finally dried.
The shot on her neck went deeper than Twilight expected, cutting through her windpipe and causing a harsh gasp from Rarity as a chunk of her windpipe disintegrated and she lost her ability to breath. The hole filled with blood and the muscle underneath contracted as the unicorn tried to get air and just breathed sticky blood into her lungs.
Twilight admired the sight for a moment before lighting up her horn and stitching the wound just enough that she didn't bleed out and could get oxygen once more. Rarity's energy seemed to return after the terrifying brush with death, a new dose of adrenaline shot through her.
The other two shots reacted similarly to the first two, leaving large, gaping, hollowed out wounds that disfigured her round body.
As Rarity gasped and screamed, Twilight retrieved a large bucket from the table, it's contents a similar color as the contents of the shot. She didnt even give Rarity a warning before dumping the bucket on one half of her face.
The liquid immediately melted the fur and flesh from her face. It didn't burn through the flesh, but left it red, patchy, and naked of fur. The unicorn's eye popped like a grale and the goo oozed down her face and chest. Her flesh sloffed, the skin of her eyebrow lost the ability to hold up, drooping to cover her melted eye. Her cheek likewise sloffed down, making it look saggy and gross. That whole half of her face was naked and red down to her lower neck.
Twilight smiled as she realized that the once beautiful unicorn mare now resembled the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Twilight sighed happily, her master piece was almost complete! Just one more touch.
The alicorn went back to her table and retrieved a sharp cleaver. Rarity didn't even react to the hoof steps returning just breathing loudly and staring at the floor in horror.
Twilight raised her eye brows in surprise as the unicorn spoke, it was quiet but clear. "Pl-please. Dont... don't kill me. I'll help. I'll do... whatever you want. I dont... I dont want to die..."
Twilight saw her choke on a sob and lift her head, her one good eye plead genuinely. Twilight was impressed. Rainbow had broken and asked to be killed quickly, but Rarity was begging to be kept alive. Even after being disfigured, in immense pain, and permanently unrecognizable.
Twilight stopped for a moment and thought. No fake 'hmm' accompanied this, she was actually considering the words this mare spoke.
After a few moments of silence only broken by Rarity's wheezing breaths, Twilight set the cleaver down. She walked behind Rarity and slid something in front of the mare. Rarity didn't react. The alicorn lit the room up for the first time since Rarity had awoken hours ago.
Rarity slowly opened her one good eye, squinting against the harsh light. Her jaw dropped and her body went cold. She was looking in a mirror. A horrible beast sat in front of her, shackled, burned, and bloody. She couldn't take her eye off the sight. The monstrosity blinked in time with her, it's head turned when hers did. She let out a harsh sob as she drank in her reflection. Horrifying, awful, disgusting.
Twilight put a hoof on the edge of the mirror and looked into Rarity's eye. Rarity looked at the merciless alicorn, noticing her blackened hair ends and her dark menacing coat.
"Still full of generosity, even after this. My my, you are an impressive one." Twilight spoke with genuine surprise and respect. Her horn glowed and Rarity clenched her eyes shut, preparing for another assault. But it never came.
She felt very slight physical relief as some of her wounds were stitched shut. Only enough for her to be able to walk and to not bleed out. She gave the alicorn a confused look.
"Now that you know what I can and will do... you know the kinds of horrors I will ask of you. Tell me Rarity, do you really intend on being loyal to a pony like me? Is your desire to live greater than your morals?"
Rarity looked down at her lap, bloody, covered in her mane and shards of tooth, and missing large chunks of flesh. She hesitated, then gently nodded her head.
"I... don't want to die. I don't want to... die..." she repeated the five words a few more times, her dangling sloffing cheek making her words sound airy. Her melted hole of a cheek adding a whistle to her words. Even her voice wasn't recognizable. She truly was a horrible, disgusting beast.
Twilight gave her a smile and popped her shackles off with magic. The unicorn ragdolled forward and landed face first on the bloody floor beneath her. Her sobbing returned, but it was tinged with relief.
Twilight thought her friend's worst fear had been becoming ugly, but it turns out it was actually death.
And the best way to torture this mare, was to keep her alive, and to control her with the constant threat of death.
Twilight floated the beast off the floor and carried her limp form behind her as she left the room. "From today forward, your new name is Beast. And you shall do what I say, or perish painfully by my hoof."
