I never understood change...

It was just being so used to something only for it to changed seemly overnight made me feel off...

Sure it was odd but sometimes it was good or sometimes it was for worse.

Say they changed some part of your favorite dish or hired a different chef at a restaurant because they were cheaper but that results in your dish being awful.

Still, change isn't always bad it could be good too from when I was around four years old my dad had a pager then a few short years later he had an iPhone that could do more than a pager, because of that I was able to hear from him more often.

Again change could be that the local pizza joint has lowered their prices but it was the same pizza you love.

Change can be both good and bad.

For without change we wouldn't even have been in the stone age or any age.

Just mindless hairless apes roaming the world.

Though this was a big change.

From a 'normal' to the first damned son of divided.

Let me make something real clear first.

I AM NOT BE'LAKOR!!!

"Those damn brats!" Sombra kicked a rock across the cave that was his hideout after narrowingly escaping the elements trying to throw him into the void again.

Grogar was right but Sombra's pride didn't allow him to openly accept that fact.

There was no way that he: King Sombra the king of shadows, the dark walker, the master of the black flame, the true ruler of the crystal empire! Would never share his kingdom with a child or that forgotten god especially that bug!

Holding his chin he began to think.

He needed to get an edge over the princess of friendship and her friends.

But how?

The whispers in the shadows did speak of a plot on the crystal empire of two nations joining under a single cause but what it was he didn't know.

If he played his cards right these two nations would serve him willing with undying loyalty if not?

Well, he had his ways.

Standing there he began to think of a plan but before he could do anything he shadows...

They stopped whispering to him, this greatly confused Sombra while he let go of his chin.

This has never happened to him before, even in the void the shadows still whispered to him for them to just stop without him commanding them so was greatly concerning.

Then came the footsteps in the hallway turning around he summoned his blade.

"WHO DARES CAME HERE!" The footsteps stopped while Sombra held up his blade to the cave tunnel before him. "SHOW YOURSELF!"

...

"I SAID-"

"Fall," A voice whispered in the dark caused Sombra to drop his blade and the feeling of blood rushed to his throat while his dark blood was spilled on the cold rock floor.

Sombra puked up more black blood onto the floor Sombra felt his body freeze up the only thing he could control was his head.

Never did he think a single word would do this to him.

"W-w-what is this?" Sombra struggled through the blood.

"Silence," Th voice spoke again while Sombra didn't make a single sound as his very blood didn't make noise as it splashed onto the cave floor. "Suffer,"

Pain roared through Sombra's body as it felt every fiber of his being, every nerve in his body felt like it was being jabbed by burning hot needles. If he could scream it wouldn't be enough for how much blood he was puking up that was far more than any normal pony would puke out but Sombra wasn't anything but normal.

"How dull," Sombra was kicked in the face onto his back as his paralyzed body didn't allow him to move.

Looking up at the attacker he saw a pair of red eyes look down at him.

"And to think you call yourself the king of shadows when you can't even handle lesser command speech," The figure before snarled a pair of white fanged teeth. "You failed again... Three strikes,"

The snarl became a smile.

"Your out,"

Sombra's eyes began to grow heavy as he choked on his own black blood while the being reached down to him.

"And your soul is mine to play with,"

The former ruler of the crystal empire's felt like as his body grew tired he was being pulled out of his armor.

Little did he knew it wasn't his armor he was being pulled out of but his very body.

"My first soul... this ought to be fun," The dark purple soul in his grasp shined itself in the darkness of the cave as Sombra's eyes were empty blanks.

It's been a few months now since his arrival if he had to guess it was either seven or eight months but during that time he had been trying to adjust to his new body.

This body was far from a human with bent legs and an oddly shaped head along with him being near twice the size of a primarch. Along with him being a literal daemon of chaos, he had to find a way to control his new body while keeping to the shadows.

Luckly being a daemon did grant him the ability to change his shape, form, and otherwise.

Along with that, the body he had would make anyone go power mad after they learned how to use it to him though that wasn't the case. First off he didn't like hurting people who didn't deserve it and second he might be a chaos player back on earth but in reality, he was just like the iron warriors and Skaven.

That was another thing...

Daemon princes are supposed to have some kind of connection to the warp along with the fact that they are to do the will of the chaos gods.

But ever since he arrived not a peep or did he feel some kind of connection.

He felt the power of the gods in him even though he couldn't feel them in his body and soul.

Khrone granted him the might of the greatest warriors, Tzeentch granted him forbidden knowledge of power, Nurgle granted him the ability to heal from the most grievous wounds, and Slaanesh granted him a greater sense of understanding the world around him... among other things.

Chaos undivided had its perks indeed.

But one thing was for sure...

HE WAS NOT BE'LAKOR!

In a way, he was like Be'lakor before taking his form and 'body' in the way he was an only child between two parents that hated one another but they both loved him. Then came the day were his half-sibling which caused his life to fall apart but not as bad as the first prince of chaos.

Hate, pain, and sorrow were inflicted on him.

Unlike Be'lakor...

He both hated and loved Be'lakor because in a way he could relate to the king of shadows because he always likes the villains more than the heroes. The part he hates though was what Be'lakor did ranging from stealing, murder, and rape this wasn't the part he liked about him.

In a way, Be'lakor gave off Starscream vibes because of how he wanted to become a god but couldn't, and every time he got close to either possessing a choice of chaos or anything it was foiled.

Still, now he was in the cursed prince's body he could do anything he wanted.

Like, say changing his head so he could actually lay down his head without the horns and weird-shaped head making it impossible for sleep (not like he needed it). Maybe making a few changes to his body from giving off a more unique look that would make him different from the Be'lakor he knew.

Scales, fur, smaller form, fewer skulls hanging on chains that were on his wings, not having his skin twisted into his armor, but he did keep the eight-pointed star on his chest along with other markings of chaos all over his body in patterns.

Though he kept to the shadows it was only a matter of time before the world found out about him yet he didn't have a name to use.

His old name wouldn't do and he wasn't going to call himself Be'lakor (or Starscream) maybe take another chaos name.

Lucius? "Oh if you kill me and you feel any emotion you become me and I steal your body where your soul becomes trapped in my armor! HAHAHA!"

No...

Kharn? As much as he enjoyed the betrayer he didn't want to up that legendary title.

Bile? Honestly, it sounds more like a Nurgle follower name rather than a 'follower' of slaanesh.

Ahriman? Didn't know how to feel about him or the thousand sons at least they were pretty chill with the iron warriors.

Kane? Where did that one come from... Is there a guy named Kane in either Warhammer series?

Most likely.

Skav? Short for Skaven?

Nah the only reason he liked those rat-men was how they out dakka the Orks with warp stone and the like, turning the woman into breed stock... disgusting though fan art was kinda cute of none drugged females skaven.

Ender?

...

Now, why does that name feel so damn familiar?

...

Alcatraz? What was he thinking? This isn't Crysis...

But his nickname did make him think Al...

Al...

Al...

What could be a nickname for someone called Al?

Alice? Not really besides he was male.

Alexander? maybe but that is more of a knight name.

Alphrius? Just no...

Alucard? Bitches do love cannons.

Or...

Why didn't he think about that before...

Alastor?

Though not from Warhammer 40,000, AOS, or fantasy the Alastor he was thinking about was an overlord demon of hell along with the fact he was greatly feared and stayed in the shadows biding his time to come into the spotlight.

He didn't have the voice or the only thing red on him was his eyes but if he went by that logic best call him Vortex.

Alastor would do.

His true name though? That was for him to know and only him to know.

Both demons and daemons shared that same weakness of the power of a name, for if anyone knows they would have great power over him.

Best keep that part to himself just to be extra safe.

Sombra's dark purple soul was held by 'Alastor' as he sat on the ruined throne digging his claws into the orb feeling the pain of Sombra's suffering. In his other hand held a familiar bell that he 'borrowed' from the mountain top knowing he changed the path of my little pony the moment he grabbed it.

That might be the reason why Sombra was able to escape and fake his banishment.

Got to love the butterfly effect.

Alastor looked at the dark soul in his hand.

'Do... I eat it like in soul eater? Or what?'

The dark son was still new to this whole daemon prince thing which made him wonder if all new daemon princes felt the same way once becoming a child of chaos.

Spinning the soul on his foreclaw like it was a basketball while he began to play with the soul.

"What to do. What to do. What to do while I wait,"

Looking at the bell he was disappointed, this damn thing was super weak! Sure it can steal and give power but this damn thing wasn't that good!

This damn thing couldn't even hold a taste of his chaos energy the damn thing would explode.

He was like a power balance issue in a video game like how skyrim's OP iron helmet and wooden sword build by breaking the crafting system.

Humming a tune he rolled the soul around his palm now getting bored of waiting.

'Where are those guys they late... or am I earily? What does it mean to be earily though does it-' Shaking his head. 'Damn it... Tzeentch is still fucking with me even though I'm not connected to any of the gods... but how does that make sense? Actually, me becoming Be'lakor doesn't make any since best not question it now,'

"See that wasn't so hard," A squeaky voice spoke though behind the large rotting wood door causing Alastor to stop messing with Sombra and smile.

"I must admit child that was quite fair," A male voice with years of wisdom behind it spoke out.

"Chrysalis what do you think?" The power greedy child asked.

"I think we should get the bell already," The voice of the changling queen was always enjoyable to hear.

As the door was pushed open Alastor turned his head slightly to face the doorway.

"Wait... I thought Grogar said this place was abaonded?" Cozy glow questioned.

"It should be I don't understand why somepony would be up here unless-" Triek stopped when Alastor held up the Bell. "For the bell as well,"

The three froze while Alasator held the bell before a few long moments of silence passed.

"Who are you?" Cozy glow asked.

"Who am I? That's a good question one I haven't heard in some time," Alastor placed the bell back down. "I'm just the guy with the bell,"

The three began to move forward trying to circle Grogar's old throne.

"Did you know Grogar had this throne room and every other important room of his was in the middle of the castle... he wanted to all those he ruled to believe that he was at the center of everything,"Sombra's soul was placed away safely into the darkness of his power for later as the three slowly walked trying to get a good look at him but the robes he wore made it hard. "You know that's what people are half the time thinking they are in the center of the universe but in the end, they really aren't that's the downfall of many titans I know... One thought he could change the world in his image and had set up something similar to this but he was in a church, not a castle,"

The three froze as he looked towards them.

"Here I don't really need this... trinket," Casaully he tossed the bell towards them as Cozy caught it.

The three looked at the bell before the dark being on the throne who wore a red coat with black fur, taking one look at the bell than to the cloaked being Triek spoke.

"How do we know this isn't a fake?" Tirek question.

"See for yourself," Alastor he held out his hand to the bell.

The three touched the bell then it hit them...

Power, so much power that they never have felt before in their lives.

Triek felt as if he was back in his golden prime again, Cozy glow became an alicorn that was far more powerful than anything she felt before, and finally, Chrysalis felt herself finally have the power she always dream for.

Looking at one another the being waved his hand.

"Off you go now. You have your toy now leave me be," The being stated while the three looked at him before turning to the door but Cozy glow stopped looking at the being on the throne looking out the destroyed wall into the mountain valley.

An evil smile came to her face as she pointed the bell at the being on the throne his worlds still in her mind.

He called it a trinket and a toy, she wondered what kind of power did he have to think such things before she could use the bell a voice spoke from behind her.

"You know it's not honorable to strike at someone from behind child," The being somehow was behind her causing the two others to step back at how he was able to do that.

Her smile was gone he held her shoulder while his hooded face looked at her, his red eyes were like burning embers of red hot coals of fire while his clawed hand reached for her neck.

Cozy looked at the hand it was nothing she has ever seen before.

This claw was nothing like anything she had seen from a dragon or Abyssinian it looked like if it were to touch her flesh ever so slightly that claw would slice through her flesh and bone with the slightest touch.

"You had your little bell but you got greedy you had to have even more power. More powers than your 'friends' so you became a goddess," The claw was inches away from her throat but Triek charged forward.

Even though he knew Cozy Glow as a snake that would cheat him of anything in somewhy he did have a soft spot for the filly but the moment he pulled his fist back the being turned to him and smile.

"Stop," As that Tirek did so not being able to move.

Chrysalis watched in horror of how a single word from the being's mouth caused the mighty Tirek now fully empowered by Grogar's bell caused him to freeze in place.

"You think what you all feel is power... raw godly power correct? That's where your wrong what you have is just a drop of water compared to the massive ocean I have but here let me give you a taste of what you truly one," Reaching out his finger he lightly tapped on the bell with the point of his claw.

*Tink*

Chrysalis felt her ears ring as the cold wind of the mountain valley make her skin sting with the soft breeze of the icy wind as she pushed herself from the snow while opening her eyes.

"Wha-"

"You're finally awake," Alastor smiled to himself knowing what he said.

Before she was the Alastor in his red velvet-looking long coat as the black fur moved in the breeze.

"The cold air... reminds of home," He then turned to her as Chrysalis blood froze upon seeing his face while he pushed his hood down.

Nothing in her entire long life has she seen before was that being before and her entire knowledge told her a being like this shouldn't even be possible! A being that seemed to be an offspring of an unholy creation of forbidden alchemy and blood magic of every predator-like race in Equis from brutal dragon to tribal dire wolves.

Then the smoke of fire entered her nose.

"By the hive," Chrysalis saw the former castle of Grogar burning in magical flames, she was snapped out of it when the being threw down a piece of burnt metal.

Turning towards it Chrysalis felt an overwhelming sense of dread.

Grogar's bell completely shredded and the sense of magic it held was gone, yet she looked at herself still in the same form as she was moments ago somehow.

"You know I could have left you behind and had your soul as well," Looking up at his pink orb and a red one wherein his hands before he closed his hands as the souls vanished into the darkness. "But I decided against it,"

He crossed his arms.

"Maybe I want some to tell the tale or maybe it was for the fact I feel sorry for you... a mother whose children abandoned her," He smiled. "Yet you're intentions at first were honorable. You wanted your people to no longer be straving and have homes but the moment you decided to use them for petty revenge was too far,"

Turning back to the castle ablaze in flames he spoke.

"So do what you wish with your new power try to do what sombra did and take your revenge then get your butt turned into stone or worse or go back to 'grogar' and tell him you failed with your allies dead," He looked at her. "I don't really care war is coming from the north best you start heading south far south as you can possibly go to the end of the world if you need to if you don't wish to become a rotting corpse for woods to feast on or worse,"

Shrugging while he spoke: "Than again I don't really care. The moment Twilight is crowned the united threat will strike nothing can stop it,"

Chrysalis watched a pair of large black wings seemly appeared on his back.

"Well I could have but what is the point? These ponies are nothing more than xenophobic and deem anything 'not normal' as evil," He placed his hands into his pockets. "This is karma coming to pay them a visit,"

Looking down at her his smile shorten to a smirk.

"But you and others like you don't devsere to pay for the sins of celestia's precious little ponies," He held his hand forward. "So you can take my warning and run to the ends of this world but know this running can only get you so far,"

Lowering his hand down to her she looked at it, no longer was a razor-like claw but a hand willing to help her up.

"Or you can come with me and help with the plans I have in store for the future," He smiled warmly. "It's your choice and I'll respect what you pick,"

Chrysalis looked at him than his hand, she didn't trust anyone or anything in her life but this being before he spoke of a coming threat and he was offering her a chance of surviving that threat.

There was one thing that Chrysalis was above being a queen and a mother, she was a survivor and his words held truth knowing the current state of the world right now hearing rumors of armies being formed in the north seemly readying for war.

The peace did seem too good to be true and deep down she knew it.

Reaching out she took his hand and the being smiled darkly.

"The first wise choice you have done in quite some time Chrysalis," He pulled her up.

"I-... *Clears throat* be silent beast I'm only taking your offer to stay alive in this coming war nothing more," Chrysalis pride amused Alastor.

"So you say but time can change a person not just with magic or power," Alastor placed his arm over his chest and bowed. "The name I have taken in this time is Alastor first son of the chaos gods and king of shadows,"

"Name you have taken?" Chrysalis blinked as Alastor chuckled.

"I have gone by many names in my long life hive queen surely you are not one to talk knowing the many names you have taken yourself," Alastor stated. "Before you ask no discord is not my father he's not even a god just a common jester with the power of a lesser being,"

"Wait there are other gods of chaos?" Chrysalis asked.

"Four... well five but one doesn't count for he is just a powerful daemon whose power could be considered that of a god but yes there are others," Chrysalis froze.

"D-d-d-demon?"

"Relax it's daemon with an A between the D and the E though many do get the two mixed up but come let us go I spotted a tarven near here I'm been itching for a drink," Alastor passed her while Chrysalis watched him before looking to the bell. "Come on you milk drinker,"

"MILK DRINKER! How dare you insult me!" Chrysalis shouted. "I have drunk so many stallions under the table I would do the same to you!"

Alastor laughed.

"I'm no stallion bug butt now let's go," Alastor waved for her to follow.

"BUG BUTT!"

Alastor always dreamed to say that to Chrysalis in person before his arrival here in Equestria under Be'lakor's form and power.

He did wonder something though, did Be'lakor ever drink because he wasn't much of a drinker back home but the urge to have one was a craving he had been having ever since day one of his arrival.

Maybe being part of Slaanesh was the crave for fine drinks and want not.

Author's Note

I don't care what you say I enjoy Be'lakor's character (in some parts not many I do like about him) and yes he's very similar to Starscream how he would be doing anything to become leader but in Be'lakor's case to be a literal god.

At least he's not Selemene.

That bitch let her own daughter because 'Oh she doesn't see me as a goddess she can die for all I care and it's her father's fault'

I'M NOT MAKING THIS SHIT UP! That's how it went down.

At least krama came back to her by the demon with the coolest name I've heard: 'Terrorblade'.

Sorry but back on topic, I've been gotten to install Warhammer vermintide II on my Xbox, and I'M LOVING IT!!!

Sure I'm not with the skaven but still, it's fun to smack a heretic in the face 'with me mallet, sorry I had to just saw Perfect cell vs Courage the cowardly dog.

Speaking of PC... you'll see him in one of my current stories.
