Luna awakes in her bed like always, she stretches feeling and hearing the craking of her legs as she pushes' them out into the air. She then lazily rolls out of bed stumbling to her hooves as if she was drunk.

Dragged herself to her private bathroom to freshen up. She hopped in the shower, brushed her teeth, and did everything else that needed to be done to look presentable.

She proceeded
to makes her way to the kitchen, the old floor boards creek under her weight. She then walks into the kitchen to see her older sister Celestia sitting at the table munching on a bagel.

"Good morning sister." Luna says getting Celestia's attention.

"Finally your up!" The older alicorn hissed in a playful tone.

"Yeah, yeah.." Luna mused rolling her eyes in a equally playful manner. Celestia leaped up out of her chair at alarming speeds tackling her sister to the floor in a alicorn bear hug.

"S-sister!" Luna choked out as she was suficated by her sisters larger form.

Celestia relented pushing her self off of Luna, not before giving her a short and sweet kiss on her nose. Luna scrunched her nose up narrowing her eyes at her sister in slight annoyance at the gesture, she didn't mind it as much as she was willing to admit.

"So Lulu are we going out again today?" Celestia asked a bit sudden, after the short silence between the two.

"Of course, we go out everyday dont we?" Luna snorted at the question knowing Celestia knew the answer.

"Yeah I know, just making conversation..." Celestia mused giving a bashful look.

Luna didnt say another word as she trotted towards the old oak door separating the inside of the old cozy cottage from the rest of the world.

Before she opened the door she looked as if she had forgotten something, she rushed back into her room opening a very large closet. What laid beyond the door was a large battle axe emblazoned with Luna's cutie mark on its handle, It had a crescent moon inbetween its large blades. Luna grabbed the axe with her magic, placing it onto her back inside a holder connected to her saddle bags.

Luna then rushed back into the kitchen seeing her sister with a equally large war hammer a top her back.

"You ready yet?" Celestia asked in a some what impatient tone.

"Yes mother." Luna answered sarcastically with her all too telling poker face.

Celestia snorted rushing to the door and swinging it open. She trotted into the open air, she breathed in a large breath the crisp and cool air of early morning filling her lungs. Luna followed soon after also taking in the cool air.

Celestia trotted on, her ears moving every which way picking up the smallest of sounds. The medow the two resided in was peacful and quiet none the less they stayed diligent. Luna also scanned the surrounding area, her eyes locked onto her sisters flanks for a couple of seconds, she ripped her gaze away a slight blush turning her midnight blue cheeks purple, she had to stay diligent that is a simple yet important task.

They walked on for a couple of more minutes Celestias longer stride caused Luna to have to almost canter to keep up the pace with her.

They went into a clearing it was a entrance to a small town, Celestia and Luna trotted into town, ignoring the looks and stares they received. They went into a small shop picking up food, and other necessities.

It came to a point their little shopping spree was coming to a end, but today couldn't be another day in the life of the sisters without some type of complication.

A scruffy, chocolate brown, earth pony stallion trotted up to the alicorn duo, his head adorned with a jet black mane held high.

"Didn't the mayor tell you two monsters off, not to long ago may I add?" growled the stallion.

The alicorn sisters looked up, Luna held a steel glare that could send a dragon running, Celestia on the other hoof looked as sweet and polite as ever complete with a small smile

"Oh we know sir, we just needed somethings before we head off for today. We will be out of your mane soon enough." The pink maned alicorn chirped seemingly cheerful for the stallions hostile approach.

"Whatever just piss off why don't ya'?" He snorted, turning his snout up and trotting off in the direction he came.

Luna snorted as well, turning to exit the small town, "That stallion is lucky I didn't show him what a real monster was..." She growled, sneering slightly.

Celestia sighed turning to follow Luna, "Well this happens every time! We get looks and stares, then the ponies who have the balls too, tell us off..." Celestia stated rolling her eyes as the two trotted off.

The two alicorns had walked a little ways from the town, they soon found themselves in another clearing this time at the end of the clearing there was a cliff, the two sisters trotted up to the cliff and plopped down, they took out daisy sandwiches and began to eat.

"You know we have to head to the west kingdoms today, yes?" Luna questioned looking over to her sister.

"Yeah, I know..." Tia huffed finishing up her sandwich. Celestia stood, her long pink mane blowing in the breeze.

Luna couldn't help but smile at her sister, she leaned over to kiss her on the cheek trying to comfort her.

"I know you dont want to leave but we have to, its best for us." Luna stated with a sad look.

Celestia nodded in understanding leaning over to kiss Luna on the lips. Luna blushed deeping the kiss, Celestia rolled the two of them onto the ground laying a top Luna.

"Really now?" Luna asked in her sarcastic tone. Celestia chuckled softly deciding it wasn't the best time.

She rolled off Luna into the soft green grass, they laid there for a while enjoying the warm summer rays.

Luna was the first to stand, "We have to get going we dont wanna head off at night fall."

She said brushing Celestia's face with her tail affectionately. Celestia sighed standing up and gathering her things. She nodded to Luna who had went back to the lining of the trees in wait. Celestia trotted to Luna's side as the two entered back into the trees ready for the trip ahead.
