The scene around the city of Canterlot was one of a winter wonderland. A fresh layer of snow blanketed the city after a snowstorm a few days prior. Children were out and about building snow forts, having snowball fights, and just having fun. Things for the adults were just as exciting because Valentine's Day is only a couple days away as evidenced by all of the heart shaped decorations lining the windows of every business along the streets. Flower shops were constantly filled with customers. Everyone getting presents and making plans for the day of love. However, you haven't done any shopping or preparing for anything fancy. Because this year, things have been the same as it has been for many years previously. You were without someone to spend on this day of romance and sweetness.
Inside the small confines of Canterlot's lone erotic shop, Seduction's Dungeon, you stand behind the register while watching the customers peruse the items on the shelf. One black and one blue.
"Not a whole lot," you answer as you begin ringing up her items. "Just another day in paradise, you know."
"Yeah?"
"Yep," you continue. "Just standing back here while watching y'all make your choices on what you'll be doing on Valentine's Day."
"Yeah," she replies after snickering softly. "Tavi's going to be in for a wild night." She then tilts her lens forward, allowing you to see her magenta colored eyes before she winks at you. "How about you?" she asks. "You got any plans?"
"Nah," you answer. "I don't have a girlfriend. So I'll most likely just hang out at home and just play some games, order some pizza, and just hide out until the next day."

"Eh. It's alright," you reply. "Not the first Valentine's Day I've spent by myself. Most likely won't be the last one either. Unless something miraculous happens."
"Hey. You never know," she says as she looks at you. "I mean. Things have a way of happening around here. I'm sure you'll find someone eventually."
"We'll see about that," you reply as you finish ringing up her items. Seeing the total amount, you watch as Vinyl reaches into her pocket and pulls out her wallet before pulling out a card. In one quick swipe, the purchase is approved. Seeing that, you hand the stuff back over to her.
"Hang in there, bud," she says as she takes hold of the bags. "You never know when an opportunity might come through that door." After saying that, she turns and walks toward the exit. As your eyes drift back toward the remaining customers in the shop, you just chuckle softly while shaking your head.
"As if that's going to happen," you say in your mind. "I doubt that someone's going to come in here and just agree to go out with me for Valentine's Day." After she leaves, you go back to your usual activity of keeping an eye on the customers and what they're looking at. As the day progresses, the shop remains busy. This is one of a few times where the store does well as everyone is looking to have their day of romance capped off by a night of lewdness and pleasure.

"Yeah. Everything's good," she answers. "Thanks to some donors that my parents were friends with, the camp will be around for quite some time. It was just one of those boring yet mandatory meetings since he still owns the land. Hopefully that'll change soon."
"Hope so," you reply. "It'd be a shame to see it be torn down." The woman in front of you nods silently in agreement. "So," you continue. "What exactly were you wanting to look at today?"
"Eh. Just some of the usual," she answers. "Hopefully it hasn't been completely picked over. I'm sure this place must've been super busy today."
"Oh yeah," you say. "I made a ton of sales today."
"Nice," she replies. "Well. I won't take up too much of your time." After saying that, she turns around and starts walking down one of the aisles. "Wait. You're single?" you ask in a surprised tone.
"Unfortunately," she answers.
"How?"
"Not sure," she replies while shrugging. "Guess guys just aren't into me."

"I've been single for so long," she continues. "I've just been so busy with the camp that I guess I just haven't found time to try and focus on finding someone." She then sighs again before turning around and starting to walk toward the door. "I should probably let you close up now. Sorry for holding you up," she says while walking.
"Wait!" you exclaim. "Hold up a bit."
This makes her stop just as she had rested her hand on the door to open it. She then slowly turns back to look at you.
"Yes?" she asks.
"Would you... umm...." you begin to say, wanting to get this out as perfectly as possible. "Would... you... like to... hang out... on Valentine's Day? Maybe... get something to eat? Or.. catch a movie?"
"Are you... asking me out, Anon?" she asks before slowly making her way back to the counter.
"Y-y-yes," you stutter. "If... if you don't mind." After saying that, she stares directly into your eyes with those beautiful green eyes of hers. Seconds pass by before she smiles and nods.
"I'd love to," she says.
"Great!" you say, internally celebrating the fact that you just asked out the woman of your dreams and she said yes. "Anything you want to do. Just say the word."
"I'll think about it," she replies before taking out her phone. "Mind giving me your number?"
"Of course," you reply before giving your number to her. She then stands there for a moment, typing something into her phone before you see that a message has been sent to your phone. Looking down, you see that Gloriosa has sent you her address.
"Meet me there around... 5:00," she says. "And then we'll see where the night takes us."
"Sounds good," you eagerly reply. "See you then." Gloriosa grins and nods before turning around once more and making her way over to the door. She then stops and turns back to look at you before waving. You wave back to her as she exits the building and drives away. Looking back down at your phone, you gaze at the address she sent you. Your heart starts pounding with excitement as you can't believe what just happened. Making sure that this isn't all just a dream, you pinch yourself. The slight pain is welcomed as it is a sign that you aren't dreaming.
"Things have a way of happening around here," Vinyl's voice echoes in your mind as you think back to your conversation with her. "You never know when an opportunity might come through that door."
"Guess you were right, Vinyl," you say to yourself as you save Gloriosa's number to your phone. "Guess you were right."
Two Days Later
The sun is beginning to set over the horizon as you pull up outside of Gloriosa's house. It's a normal looking one story house painted white with a brown colored roof. What sets this apart from neighboring houses is the wooden deck that stretches to the corners of the front as well as the brick chimney. Near the front door, you see a porch swing. This makes you smile as you imagine both you and her sitting on it while enjoying a nice spring day. Looking down at your watch, you see that you are right on time. 5:00 on the dot. This makes you breathe a sigh of relief as you were worried that you'd be late, thus putting a damper on the one chance you have to be with her.
As you wait in your car, you look in the backseat at a small box wrapped with wrapping paper covered in hearts. Yeah. The standard gift was a box of chocolates and flowers. But those were all gone when you tried searching for them. So hopefully this gift that you did get for her would make her just as happy.
Soon, you see the front door open. From where you are, you see Gloriosa stepping out wearing a brown colored jacket with a white shirt underneath. Her legs were covered by a pair of light blue jeans with white and red colored shoes on her feet. When she sees you, she smiles and waves at you. This makes you wave back as she starts walking toward your car. As she walks, the breeze blows through her hair, making it wave to one side. You just sit there and gaze. You didn't think that she could get any more beautiful. But seeing her hair blowing through the wind as she walks toward you was truly a sight to behold. It doesn't take her long though to reach your car as she opens the door and gets inside.
"Hey Anon," she says after closing the car door behind her.
"Hey Glory," you reply, making her giggle again before you start driving again.
"How are you?"
"I'm great," you answer. "This is the best I've felt in a long time."
"I feel the same," she says. "It's nice to finally get some time away from the stresses of the camp and just relax with someone that I enjoy being around."
"You enjoy being around me?" you ask in a surprised tone.
"Of course," she answers. "I always enjoy our times we spent together when I'm at the store."
"I can say the same," you reply. "I've always enjoyed talking to you." This earns a smile from her along with a slight shade of red in those cute cheeks of hers. "So what's the plan for tonight?"
"Well," she begins to say. "I was thinking we could just grab something to eat. You know. Something simple."
"I see," you reply. "Anything you have in mind?"
"There's one place I like going to," she answers. "Pinkie Pie's Palace of Pizza."
"Ah," you reply. "That's a good place. Those pizzas are probably some of the best around."
"Exactly," Gloriosa adds. "And we can share a pizza. That is. If you don't mind."
"That's fine with me," you say, hoping that this wouldn't cost too much. Money was kind of tight this month with bills and groceries. The electric bill was higher than normal because of the heater. You scraped together as much as you could. Even though you probably could've gone without getting the present for her, you wanted to make this night as special as possible. So if going a little bit lighter on groceries for the month was the price to pay for giving your crush a Valentine's Day to remember. Then it would be worth it.
The journey to the Palace of Pizza doesn't take long as soon, you pull up out front of the building. Grabbing one of the few open parking spaces, you turn off the car and get out before quickly making your way over to the other side and opening Gloriosa's door for her. This makes her giggle before she steps out.
"You don't have to do that, Anon," she says as you close the door after she gets out of the car.
"Sorry," you reply. "I just want to make this night special for you."
"You already are," she says. "This is the first Valentine's Day I've spent with someone else in years. I just want you to be yourself tonight. Okay?"
"Fair enough," you reply. This makes her smile again before you feel her take hold of your right hand. Feeling this, you immediately look down before looking back at her.
"Let's have a good time tonight," she says. You silently nod in response as the two of you make your way inside while holding hands. Once inside, the smell of delicious pizza greets you both immediately. Looking around, you see the place is packed with people.
"Hey guys!" you hear Pinkie Pie's voice call out. Looking over at the counter, you spot her standing there holding two menus in hand. "Welcome! Good to see you both!"
"Nice to see you too, Pinkie," Gloriosa replies as the two of you walk over to the counter. "How are you?"
"I'm exhausted," she answers. "It's been a busy day. But it's worth it to see so many happy faces."
"That's good at least," you say. As you see this, you notice Pinkie's eyes drifting down to see that you and Gloriosa are holding hands. She then gasps before smiling as big as you've ever seen someone smile before.
"You two are dating?!" she asks. "Congratulations!"
"Well," Gloriosa says. "First date actually."
"Oh. I see," she replies. "Well. No better time for a first date than Valentine's Day." After saying that, she walks out in front of you. "Come on," she says before motioning to follow her. "I'll get you two a table." Doing as she says, the two of you follow her. As you walk, you find more familiar faces. Applejack and Rainbow Dash seem to be on a double date with their respective boyfriends. At the next table, you spot Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer eating dinner with their boyfriends as well. But there's also another girl at their table who looks strangely similar to the former valedictorian. This makes you raise an eyebrow in curiosity as you pass by.
Continuing onward, you spot your former Vice Principal as she is enjoying her meal with her boyfriend. Looking closer, you spot a noticeable bump in her stomach area. You never known her to consume so much food to leave her belly like that. So only one other conclusion comes to your mind.
"Vice Principal Luna's pregnant?" you ask yourself in thought as you walk by the couple. "Well. Kudos to her. I'm sure she'll be a great mother."
"How's your man doing, Pinkie?" you hear Gloriosa ask, pulling you back into what you're doing as the two of you keep following Pinkie.
"He's doing great," she answers. "He's in the back right now cooking the food. I'm sure he's just as exhausted as I am."
"I see."
"Don't worry though," she continues. "This is nothing compared to the holiday rush last year. But I'm sure we'll both get some quality time with each other after we close up. If you know what I mean." She then winks after saying that. This makes both of you chuckle before she stops in front of an empty table. As you take your seats across from each other, Pinkie hands both of you a menu. "I'll give you a few minutes to decide on what to order."
"Sounds good," you reply. "Thank you Pinkie."
"My pleasure," she says before walking away to tend to other customers.
"Man," Gloriosa says, prompting you to look at her. "I can't imagine working in a restaurant on Valentine's Day. I'd go crazy just by the amount of people alone."
"Eh. You get used to it," you say. "The Dungeon gets really busy this time of year. Everyone wants to get some new toys and stuff for today."
"You can say that again," she replies as she glances at the menu. You do the same as well in order to see what is there to eat. "Make any more sales yesterday?"
"Oh yeah," you answer. "Store's almost cleaned out. We're definitely gonna have to get a big shipment of stuff within the next few days."
"I see," she says. "Hopefully your paycheck is going to be a good one."
"Should be," you respond. "Would be nice to get some money back in my pockets again. Electric bill took almost half my last check."
"Yikes," she says in a concerned tone. "That's never good."
"Eh. I'll manage," you reply. "Not the first time I've had to make some sacrifices to get by."
"Well. If you ever need any help. You know I'm here for you."
"Thank you," you say. "That really means a lot to me." You then sigh softly. "I'm just glad to have someone like you in my life right now."
"Why's that?" she asks while putting down her menu, giving you her undivided attention.
"Because you always seem to be there for me whenever I'm feeling down or need advice or help with anything," you answer. "You're smart. You're beautiful. You're so kind. And you always take time out of what you're doing to stop and talk to me. It makes me feel like the luckiest man in the world."
"Do... you really mean all of that?" she asks as you see her cheeks turn a bright shade of red.
"I do," you answer. "I really truly do." Upon hearing that, Gloriosa just smiles brightly. She looks so adorable right now. Looking directly at you with her cheeks still red yet smiling as though you just said the nicest thing she's ever heard to her.
"Well then," she says softly. "If we're being honest. I feel the same way toward you." Now it's your turn to sit there with cheeks burning red as she gazes at you. "When I first met you all those years ago, I thought you were very nice. And each time I've seen you since, I've just grown more and more comfortable around you to where I've wanted to try and ask you out. But I just wasn't sure if you were interested the same way or even if you were single or not."
"Seriously?"
"Yes."
"Wow," you say as you rub the back of your head. "I've literally been thinking the same thing about you for so long." You then chuckle softly. "All this time we could've spent together as a couple."
"Right?" she replies before she giggles as well. "Well. At least we now know for sure what the other's thinking."
"True," you say. "That is true."
"Alright," you hear Pinkie Pie say as she comes up to your table with an order pad in hand. "Have you guys made a decision yet?"
"Give us just a few more minutes," Gloriosa replies with a sheepish smile. "We were... having a bit of a moment."
"Okie dokie," she replies before walking away again. As you look back at the menu in front of you, you try to find something that both you and Gloriosa will enjoy.
"How do you feel about stuffed crust?" you ask when you see the choices of crusts.
"I... love... stuffed crust," she answers. This makes you laugh softly before putting down the menu.
"How about a stuffed crust cheese pizza?"
"That sounds delicious," she says before licking her lips. "I'm sure we'll have no problems splitting that."
"Exactly," you reply. "Half for you. Half for me."
"Agreed," she says just before Pinkie walks back over.
"Have you two decided on what to get yet?" she asks while holding out her pad once again.
"We'll have a large stuffed crust cheese pizza," you answer.
"Would you like extra cheese on that?"
"Nah," Gloriosa answers. "I think that's enough cheese on one pizza."
"Fair enough," she replies while writing the order down. "And anything to drink?"
"I'll have a glass of root beer," you answer.
"And I'll just have a glass of water," Gloriosa adds.
"Okie dokie," Pinkie replies. "We'll get that out for you as soon as we can." After saying that, she walked away, leaving the two of you alone once again. As the two of you sit across from each other, you notice how Gloriosa is now just content with just gazing at you with lidded eyes. You then feel one of her feet brushing up against the side of your leg. This makes you smile as she continues running her foot up and down along your leg.
Time passes by as the two of you just gaze at one another before the sound of Pinkie clearing her throat gets your attention. Looking over at her, you see she is holding a plate with your drinks with one hand while holding the pizza with the other. The amount of skill needed for that amazes both of you as she sets down the drinks. Reaching out, you take hold of yours while Gloriosa takes hers. Once room is made, Pinkie sets down the pizza. Immediately, your stomach growls in anticipation as the food in front of you looks delicious.
"Enjoy your meal," Pinkie says as she gives a plate to both of you. "And let me know if you'll need anything else."
"Sounds good," you reply as she walks away. Almost immediately, you and her get the first slice on your plates. It still feels hot, signaling that it is fresh from the oven. Looking up, you see that Gloriosa has already taken her first bite. You can tell because she is fanning her open mouth with one hand while reaching for her glass of water with the other. "Just a little bit hot, huh?" you ask while snickering.
"Just a bit," she answers after downing a quarter of her glass. As she looks at you, her cheeks are red once more. You just smile before taking a bite out of yours. The taste is heavenly as the pizza is made to perfection. You let out a satisfied moan as you swallow.
"This is so good," you say as she takes another bite out of her slice. Not wanting to talk with her mouth full, she nods while giving an approving moan before swallowing what's in her mouth.
"Now you see why I like coming here," she replies. You nod as you take another bite out of your slice. After roughly an hour of eating and talking, the two of you are now down to the final two slices. One for you. And one for her. But your stomach is stuffed. And from where you're sitting, you can tell that Gloriosa is feeling the same.
"Wanna take these back with us?" you ask.
"Sure," she replies. As if on cue, Pinkie Pie walks over to your table with a small foam to-go box and the bill for the food. Reaching over, you take the bill from her and look it over. To your surprise, you see that the meal is free as there is no price at the bottom of the paper.
"Pinkie?" you ask, gaining her attention. "What is this?"
"It's on the house," she answers. "In celebration of your first date."
"Pinkie," Gloriosa says before you hand the bill over to her. "That's really generous of you."
"It's fine," she says. "We've made so much today. So giving a couple their first Valentine's Day meal together free of charge is no problem."
"Thank you," you say, getting a grin from her as you place the last two slices in the box.
"You're welcome," she replies. "Enjoy the rest of your night." After saying that, she winks at both of you before walking away. Chuckling softly, you get up before downing the last of your drink. Gloriosa does the same as the two of you take hold of each other's hand.
"So what do you want to do now?" you ask as you both start walking toward the exit.
"Maybe we could go back to my place," she answers.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah," she continues. "There's something there that I want to give you."
"You got me a present?"
"You could say that."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I guess you'll just have to wait and find out when we get there," she playfully replies. This makes you smile and nod as the two of you wave at Pinkie and her boyfriend as you exit the restaurant. Once outside, the crisp winter air makes you shiver as the wind has slightly picked up. Heading over to your car, you get inside and start it up, hoping that the heat will get going soon. Gloriosa gets in on her side and takes hold of your hand once again. She then looks behind her and spots the box wrapped in heart themed wrapping paper. "You got me a present too?" she asks.
"Yep," you reply before reaching back and grabbing it.
"You didn't have to do that," she says as you give it to her.
"Too late," you say. "The gift has been given." Gloriosa just giggles before giving you a playful hit on the shoulder before she starts opening the gift. After a few seconds, she sees what is inside. She soon gasps softly as her eyes grow wide before a large grin forms as she pulls out a plush puppy holding a heart that says 'I wuff U'.
"Oh my God!" she says. "This is so cute!"
"I take it that you like it?"
"I love it!" she says while nuzzling her cheek against the toy in the most adorable way possible. She then looks over at you and reaches out before pulling you into a hug as best she could. "Thank you so much!"
"You're welcome," you say as the warmth of her skin pressing up against yours fills you with so much happiness and joy. She then surprises you by giving you a peck on your cheek. This makes your eyes shoot open as you weren't expecting her to do that. When she lets go of you, you smile brightly before pulling out of the parking space.
Once out on the road again, you look to see that a full moon is rising high into the clear star filled night sky. The journey back to her house doesn't take nearly as long as it did going the other way since the roads were basically clear of most traffic. Pulling up to her house, you pull into her driveway and turn off the engine before getting back out into the cold. Gloriosa walks around the car and comes up beside you.
