Applejack walked through the row of trees leading deeper into the orchard of sweet apple acres. She walked in the direction of the setting sun, Applejack sat down on a small hill top that provided a good view of the orchard and her surroundings.
To the dawn of the light...
Applejack looked up as the last rays of sunlight hit her in the face, she closed her eyes and enjoyed the warm comfort as it passed away. The sun was now behind the mountain providing a orange glow.
The wind will blow into your face...
The rustle from the leaves gave the light breeze away before it mad contact with her exposed face. her mane and tail playing in the wind as it blew past her. taking with it any leaves not strong enough to hold on.
As the years pass you by...
Her eyes drifted over the orchard, her thought drifted to all the seeds she had planted that was now full grown apple trees. Her eyes drifted to the sky again, as thoughts of her friends were drifting around in her head.

Applejack closed her eyes and concentrates on the voice. A picture of a Cyan coated mare took shape before her vision. A sky blue coated mare with a mane in the color of the rainbow. The mare that had been her best friend...

She though of all the great memories she shared with this mare, all the time they had laughed together. All their competitions, losses and wins. Especially the running of the leaves. it had almost cost them their friendship. But their friendship lasted through the test, and had provided her with one of her happiest memories.....

When they had confessed their feelings for each other. Applejack felt a warm feeling in her belly that soon spread to her whole body. She got this feeling whenever she though of this moment. A light blush spread on her cheeks.

Applejack opened her eyes only to find the Rainbow maned pegasus sitting on her haunches in her field of vision, Rainbow Dash was smiling at her.

The sun still hanging in the sky just behind the mountains. The light orange had now become a crimson red, providing the couple with a beautiful view, they could see the rays of light from behind the mountain, ponyville had never been this beautiful before.
The wise man said just find your place...
Applejack had found her place in Equestria, It was beside the mare she loved. In ponyville, keeping sweet apple acres running.
In the eye of the storm...
Of course it had been a large fuss when it all came out, a lot of ponies didn't think it was right for two mares to be together.
Seek the roses along the way...
But not all the ponies was this judge mental, a lot of ponies had congratulate them as well.
Just beware of the thorns...
But whenever they walked in town they could clearly see those eyes that didn't like it at all. They never gave the ponies that disliked them a reason to insult them.

Applejack snuggled deeper into Rainbow Dash's shoulder.

Rainbow dash Kissed Applejack on the forehead and wrapped a wing around her.

Applejack could feel the hear beats of the Pegasus at her side, as the wing provided warmth and comfort. A safe feeling, the feeling that nothing in the world can harm you. Applejack had this feeling whenever Rainbow Dash wrapped a wing around her.

The horizon turned darker as the sun settled in, and the darkness of night evolved around them. The only light in the distance was the light coming from the windows in Ponyville, where families had gathered for the night.
The wise man said just raise your hand...
Applejack turned and looked up as the full moon was rising in the horizon, soon the stars light up the night sky. This was a perfect night indeed. The moon shined so brightly, casting shadows behind them that stretched all the way down to some nearby trees.
And reach out for the spell...
Applejack reached a hoof toward the moon, the source of the beautiful night.
Find the door to the promised land...
Another hoof made contact with hers, it pulled it down and squeezed it lightly. Applejack looked at the hoof holding hers, and followed it to the mare she loved.
Just believe in yourself...
Applejack locked eyes with Rainbow Dash, a smile crept on her face. she turned too embraced her lover.

Rainbow pulled her close by wrapping both of her hooves and wings around Applejack, locking them in a lovers embrace.
