After Twilight returns from the mirror portal she realizes that her world is technologically behind and practically non-existent compared to the world on the other side of the mirror. After all, there has practically been no progress since the time off starswirl the bearded. She sees the benefits technology can bring to Equestria and decides to change this lack in technological progress herself, to do this she starts her own company, Sparkle Industries.
