Whilst on an ordinary day, the Rainbooms meet a mysterious young man, who can rock with his guitar and play any kind of music you can imagine. Things go great for him when he and the Rainbooms and a specific Princess of Friendship, bond with him and his music.

However, a darkness far beyond both their worlds has returned to threaten the peace and destroy what they hold dear, holding the power of music in their hands. But unknown to the darkness, six other individuals who thought were lost, reunites with the young man and together, with the power of music, they must rise to defeat the threat, as the Gods of Music.
