She was just going around Ponyville, no particular destination in her mind, her tiny wings flapping quickly to accelerate her. She didn't really have much to do at the moment. The filly had a lot on her mind. Lately, all she could think about was the fact that she couldn't fly. All she wanted was to finally be able to sore through the skies like any other pegasus. She couldn't help but let out a tiny sigh, that was almost a yawn, she was quite tired. As she continued, she looked around, realizing that soon she'd be out of town. She didn't mind that, anyway. The only ponies that could possibly be waiting for her were her two aunts. But because it was dusk, she knew they'd already be asleep, as they expected her to be back soon, and trusted her. Usually Scootaloo would of been back, but for some reason she felt like she couldn't. Suddenly, Scootaloo felt a wave a nausea hit her and a tiny pain in her flank, and she shook her head in slight frustration. Her eyes began to feel heavy, and she struggled to move. Before she could figure out what was going on, she passed out, falling off and hitting the ground. As her consciousness came back to her, her eyes open quickly and she was hyperventilating as if she'd just awoken from the worst possible nightmare. Luckily, her helmet had protected her from the fall. She slowly got on her hooves, looking around. It was now clearly midnight, the moon directly above her head. Then, Scootaloo began to hear quiet hoofsteps, and her ears perked, trying to better listen. "Hello? W-Who's there..?" She asked, turning in a circle to see if she could spot any pony. The hoofsteps only became louder, and Scootaloo began to feel a pang of nervousness in her chest. In an instant, she heard the sound of wings flapping, quite loudly, and Scootaloo squeaked in surprise, ducking down. When she looked up, she saw a pegasus in the sky, the darkness hiding their appearance. Scootaloo felt a surge on panic rush through her, and she had to stop herself from sprinting away. "Who are you?! Reveal yourself!" She ordered, trying to hide her fright. The pegasus began to stare at her, and the young pony couldn't help but squint her eyes in dread for whatever would come next. "So you want to fly...is that right?" The pegasus interrogated, and Scootaloo immediately recognized the voice. "Rainbow Dash..? Is that you?" She asked, opening her eyes once again, now confused. She felt that something was uncanny about this situation still, even with the knowledge of who was above her. "Yes. Now answer the question." She commanded. Scootaloo flinched, as she'd never heard Rainbow Dash talk to her like that before. She still tried not to think much of it just yet. "Yeah...I do. I'd do anything to be able to fly..." She mumbled, adverting her gaze sadly. Rainbow Dash quickly flew to where she was, the sound of her landing rang in Scootaloo's ears. "Anything?" She Inquired, bringing her face close to hers. Scootaloo nodded. "Of course...I want to fly more than anything in Equestria!" answered, looking to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow dash pulled away, a sinister grin on her face, as she stared directly at the smaller pony. "You must get rid of the ponies who are stopping you from being the best." "G-get rid of..? W-What does that mean..?" She hesitated, her ears pinning to the back of her head. She dreaded whatever the answer would be. "You know what I mean, Scoot. Take care of. Get out of the way," The older pony paused momentarily, her eyes gleaming in the moonlight, unblinking. "Kill them." Rainbow Dash let out a small chuckle. "What?! I couldn't kill another pony! That's terrible!!" She trembled, alarmed the Rainbow Dash could ever even suggest such a terrible thing. "You did say anything, Scoot... Did you lie? I can't believe you would ever lie to me..." Dash replied, turning her head to hide her smirk. Scootaloo immediately felt a terrible guilt wash over her. Her expression saddened. "Well... I would never want to lie to you," she muttered, "W-which ponies are you referring to..?" "Your fellow crusaders!" She barked, her tone felt corrupt. Scootaloo's eyes widened in terror. Her breathing became more heavy and couldn't hid her immense fear. "H-how are Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom stopping me from being the best..?" "They are perfectly content with you the way you are... you aren't realizing thet you could be a much better pony. They only slow you down. You may think they are being kind, but it's the opposite. They just don't want you to hang with ponies they dislike. They want to control you!" She insulted, her expression showed only anger. Scootaloo adverted her gaze once more. She didn't know what to say. She didn't know how she could ever even considered hurting her two best friends. "Are you desperate to fail me?!" Rainbow chastised, stamping her hoof on the hers. Scootaloo squealed in pain. "N-no! Of course not!" She whimpered, jetting her head back to the direction of enraged pony. "Then you will do as I say and never tell a single pony!" Dash demanded before closing her eyes, sighing. Her voice seemed to calm. She took a step back. "Once they are dead you must bring both of them to the front of the treehouse. Only then will you fly." Scootaloo could barely believe what she was hearing. But she began to think. Her head pounded in pain. It was almost as if a someone had flipped a switch in her mind. Flying really would be worth anything. Even the loss of her most precious friends. "Is this the only way I could be special?" Rainbow Dash smirked. "Yes." "Then... I'll do it." She declared. It was now about 1 am. Scootaloo was quietly creeping around Ponyville, set out to find her 'friends.' She had arrived at Rarity's boutique. Now she knew that all she had to do was get to Sweetie Belle. When she got to the door, She slowly rose her hoof to the handle, making sure to to open it as quietly as possible. When she got inside, she began to look through drawers by where Rarity would usually make dresses. Thread? No. Needles? Dangerous... but not fatal. Then she found just what she needed. At the back at the drawer sat a pair of freshly sharpened pair of scissors and a roll of tape. She took them in her jaw, slowly and carefully going up the stairs to find Sweetie Belle's room. She entered the room, eyeing the white pony with a scaring glare. She crept toward the filly's bed, trying her best not to wake her. As clambered up top looking down at her. She slowly lifted her head, wrapping tape around her muzzle three times to make sure she wouldn't wake the older sister. Sweetie Belle stayed still. Scootaloo slowly pulled the blanket off of her. Without too much hesitation, she took the scissors and held them above her chest. She squinted her eyes, then drove the blade into tiny pony before quickly removing them. Sweetie Belle's eyes immediately opened wide, and she desperately tried to scream, but she was muffled by the tight ring of tape around her face. Blood spurted from her and began to soak the bed sheets. Scootaloo stared at her, making eye contact. Sweetie Belle's expression was almost unreadable, a mixture of absolute terror and pain. She tried to move her hoof to cover the wound, but Scootaloo took the scissors once again and and shoved them through her leg, pinning it to the bed. Tears began to flow quickly from the unicorn's eyes and muffled sounds could be heard coming from her. Scootaloo didn't show any sign of being effected on her face, just watching the blood pour. Sweetie Belle could feel the life leaving her, her eyes slowly failing to stay open. She reached her other hoof out to Scootaloo, touching hers. Scootaloo looked back to her, knowing of her friend's fate. Sweetie Belle was now silent, and her breathing began to slow, and she coughed violently. Scootaloo blinked, and when she reopened her eyes, the filly in front of her was completely still. She leaned over to her, pulled out the scissors, and pushed her limp body to the side. She grabbed her scruff in her jaws, and began to drag her slowly out of the room, leaving a dark red trail behind. She was headed to the treehouse. 2:00. Scootaloo was now at Sweet Apple Acres. She knew who her next target had to be. Apple Bloom. Currently, she was the only one home. She she entered the barn, She searched the barn for tools. Rope. That was exactly what she needed. After grabbing it she quickly pranced up the stairs and to the room that Apple Bloom resided in. Almost seeming impatient, she hopped onto the bed. She took the rope and tied it in a knot around Apple Bloom's head and within her mouth. This immediately woke up and she tried to get up and get free, a terrible surge of panic filled her. She immediately stamped her face and hard as she could, causing Apple Bloom to let out a muffled scream, almost choking on the rope. Scootaloo used the rope to tie the earth pony's hooves together, not daring to risk an escape. Apple Bloom sobbed, trying to speak even with the restraint. Her voice was quiet and weak. "S-Scootaloo... w-why are you doing thi-!!!" She wailed in pain when the pegasus responded with only another jab in her face, this time directly in her eye. Apple Bloom tried to wriggle out of her restraints, and without pause the other filly struck her foreleg, and a crack was heard. Apple Bloom tried to sob, but Scootaloo used her hoof to hit her muzzle. She did it again. Again. Again. Again. Apple Bloom could only cry silently as she felt the worst pain she'd ever experienced. When Scootaloo stopped, she grabbed the filly by the scruff, dragging her toward the open window. "D-don't... please... w-whatever I did... I'm really sorry, Scoots..." Her voice was consistently interrupted by her own chokes and sobs. Scootaloo was not phased. When she reached the window, she balanced her front hooves on the wall and dangled Apple Bloom over the edge. All the other filly could do was stare at the ground below. Within instant, the already injured pony was dropped from the two story window, a loud crunch being heard a few seconds later. Scootaloo got down from the window and headed down the stairs. She reached the front of the barn, and there lied a slightly mangled Apple Bloom on the ground below. After a few seconds of staring, she grabbed her once again and began to drag her to the treehouse. When she arrived, she placed her next to the body of the other pony, the yellow fur getting soaked in Sweetie Belle's blood. She took a step back. Suddenly, she felt a strange feeling. She stared down at the two bodies. "Sweetie Belle?! Apple Bloom?! W-what happened?! What's going on?!?!" She howled, tears immediately filling her eyes. She tried to go toward them, but before she could, She felt a terrible surge of pain. Her body began to lift from the ground. "HELP!" She felt a strange pain in her wings, and the surrounding area seemed to light up. She tried to look to see what was going on. On the left, her wing had grown large, but it didn't look like hers. It was white, and it looked to be covered in dried blood. On the right, the now large wing was yellow and bruised, and a bone was sticking out of the side. "WHAT'S GOING ON?!" She wailed in horror. Only a moment later she was dropped for the sky, and Scootaloo was terrified for the drop, struggling to flap her wings. She slowed for a second, but her lack of experience soon sent her plummeting to the ground. Her eyes quickly opened, the two bodies in front of her once again. She screamed, jumping to her hooves and rushing over to them. She desperately tapped the two of the still fillies. There were now missing chunks of flesh throughout their bodies, their fur almost completely gone. "Sweetie Belle! Apple Bloom! Please wake up!" She sobbed. "Someone help!!" "Help with what?" Asked a voice from behind her. "Rainbow Dash!!" Scootaloo cried, "The crusaders are hurt!! I don't know what to do! We need to get them to a hospital!" Dash only laughed. "This was your doing. We can't help them now." "W-what are you laughing about?!? This isn't funny! I would never hurt them!!" You could hear the pain in her voice. "You did this, Scoot. But maybe not fully by choice," Rainbow snickered, "That injection was quite useful," She explained, pointing to the tiny red dot on her flank. "It's easier than you'd expect, throwing a needle at a filly!" Scootaloo glanced to her flank. still violently sobbing, her freakishly large wings dragging on the blood stained dirt below. "Rainbow Dash...You make me sick!" She screeched. "Don't be silly. This is what you wanted." Author's Note I understand it isn't the best, but I tried :')
