Chapters After a day of fun with Twilight and her friends at Canterlot Mall, you dropped your friend home by the end of the day.
It is now evening and you just got dressed in your pajamas. As you got in bed, your phone rang and you checked that Twilight is calling.
“Hello Twilight.” You answered your phone.
“Hi Night,” Twilight said from the other line. “Are you asleep? Don’t tell me I woke you up!?”
“I was getting in bed until you called. Do you need something?”
“Right. You see Sunset called me earlier that Maud showed them a video of Pinkie’s friend, Frostbite, creating a copy of himself which happened when he excused himself. There is no doubt that he has something that has Equestrian magic in it. Also Sunset has doubts that her friend Dusk Eyes also has something as well.”
“Really.” You couldn’t believe what you just heard. Normally Twilight and her face one scenario or one person that involves Equestrian magic but this time there are two persons involved. “What do you want me to do?”
“If you can come by at my place tomorrow, I need help with setting something up.”
“Sure I‘ll be there tomorrow, goodnight.”
“Goodnight, Night.” Twilight giggled after that last part then ended the call.
You placed your phone near your left prosthetic arm as you turned off the lights and went to bed. Long story short, you were born with only one arm and one of your step dads used to work as a prosthetist until he left and now works as a mechanic but still has knowledge with fixing your arm.

Your prosthetic arm brings back a memory with Twilight. It happened on your first day at Canterlot High with Science as your first class with Dr. Hooves.
“It’s nice meeting all of you.” You finished greeting yourself to your new classmates.
“Thank you, Mr. Night Star. You can sit next to Ms. Sparkle.” Dr. Hooves pointed to an available seat.
Lucky you that you will be sitting next to Twilight. Before you could make another step, your left hand begins to twitch which makes the teacher and the rest wonder what’s going on, except for Twilight which she already knew.
“Could you give me a second?” You said getting a nod from your teacher as you crouched down and began to hit the lower dorsal side of your hand on the floor a few times. “Much better.” You then stood up.
“Is something wrong Mr. Star?” Dr. Hooves asked.
You explained that you are born with one arm and your left arm is artificial. One of your classmates doesn’t believe you and thinks you're just doing this to show off. You took this as a dare as you see a cutter on your teacher’s desk giving you an idea. You asked if you can borrow the cutter which the teacher allowed you. After placing your bag down you then rolled up your left sleeve while holding the cutter in your right. Twilight, Dr. Hooves and the rest of your classmates begin to wonder what you are planning, until what will happen will be very disgusting. You use the cutter and begin to cut the flesh from your arm much to everyone in the room, especially Dr. Hooves are petrified and some started screaming.
“Night Star it's okay I believe you. You don’t have to prove it!” Twilight now standing from her seat as you finished and placed the cutter down.
She sees that their teacher wants you to remove the skin. You grabbed part of the skin that you cut and after pulling it in one go, lo and behold you showed them the endoskeleton of your prosthetic arm. Most of your classmates screamed, even one of them fell from their seat but you’re relieved that there is no fake blood underneath the skin to make things less disgusting.
“Great whickering stallions.” Dr. Hooves stood up from his and inspected your left arm.
“Last time I saw a prosthetic arm it looks exactly like a human hand but this, an endoskeleton-”
“Dr. Hooves.” Twilight called out to her teacher on how he is the one that’s amazed on your prosthetic arm while the rest of the class were still petrified on what you did.
“Excuse me for this. Mr. Night Star, I will have a word with you before you go home later.” He gestured to your classmates then to the peeled off skin from your arm.
Since that day since you don’t want the skin to be applied on it again, you had to wear a glove that is almost up to the elbow.

The next day you woke up a little earlier since you will drop by Twilight's to set things up then you will head to Canterlot Mall with Twilight since you applied for a part-time job at an electronics store, coincidentally that is where Twilight works at.
You are getting dressed and while you are busy looking for the glove for your left hand, Equestrian magic came from the window and enchanted your steampunk goggles. You didn’t even know as you grabbed your goggles and wore them on your neck and left your place.
At Twilight’s house but at their garage, you are helping her set up some weird device with what looks like a barcode scanner attached to it. Your friend explained that this device she made will help detect and determine the source of Equestrian magic and the kind of magic an item gets enchanted by it.
“Night, could you hand over my phone so I can call our friends.” Twilight pointed to her phone on her desk while she was busy setting up her device.
You grabbed her phone from the desk and handed it to her. Upon skin contact, Twilight got grounded by some electric current as she dropped her phone. You immediately caught it but something just happened. You did catch it but the phone itself got separated into pieces of parts just levitating then after a while her phone became whole again as it fell into your hands.
“How did you do that?” Twilight said as she took her phone from your hands inspecting it.“ I don’t know.” You are puzzled as your friend here.
Both of you hear the sound of a car outside which could be the others. You see that Fluttershy was already here with Sky, the eldest of the Blaze siblings and Rainbow’s sparring partner in the karate club.
The others then arrive after a few more minutes which all of you moved to Twilight’s room. You are the first one which you don’t mind as Twilight used the scanner attached to the device and scanned you to show that your steampunk goggles that you wear on your neck have Equestrian magic.
“So, about what I did to your phone was that telekinesis?” You asked while waiting for her to explain what you got. Twilight handed your goggles back to you and you wore them on your neck. You then try to point your hand at Twilight if you are able to take her glasses.
“That is not going to work,” Twilight said as you lowered your hand. “According to my calculations on why you couldn’t get my glasses plus about the part with my phone, you have the ability called cyberkinesis or technopathy.”
“Techno- what now?” Applejack asked.
“It means I can manipulate machines with my own mind whether I touch them or not.” You explained in an easier way.
“So, with your left metal arm and with your powers only means one thing.” Pinkie did a little bit of thinking then she gasped. “Oh my gosh, Twilight’s friend is actually a machine disguised as a human that was sent to the past to destroy us all!”
“Uh, Pinkie. We're pretty sure that Night over here is one hundred percent human. Except for his left arm.” Rainbow Dash said, rolling her eyes.
This became a new experience for you since the other boys who are close to the Rainbooms experienced it also.
After finishing scanning the rest, all of you now begin to go your separate ways to your part-time jobs. On the other hand since you don’t just want to rely on your step-parents, you earned a part-time job at a hardware store at Canterlot Mall which is a floor below the electronics store Twilight works at. You offered to give Twilight a ride on your ATV because currently she needs to earn a little bit more money for the repairs on her bicycle.
At the hardware store after assisting one customer on the type of paint they need you begin to check around if anyone needs assistance or your other workers or your boss needs you to do something else. You then see one customer as the customer service desk complaining about something. You approached and the clerk behind the desk explained that the electric fan they bought the other day then all of a sudden did not work. You assisted and tried it out using a nearby plug socket and the customer was right, it didn’t work. Since this was bad timing to test out your powers but as long as it's to help, as the clerk went to get the manager the customer looked the other way. This gave you the chance since you are wearing your goggles and with one touch of your index finger, the electric fan began to work which made the customer astonished by what just happened.
As the clerk came back with the manager the customer explained to the manager that earlier it wasn’t working now it began to work which made all three of them confused while you pretended to be but you did do something. The customer apologized for bothering you three but you explained that if he has any concerns he is free to either call us or come back here.
After your shift is done, you are about to meet up with Twilight until you will pass by an atm machine. You thought of Twilight needing money for the repairs on her bicycle then about your step-parents paying the bills.
“This is going to be a bad idea but it will benefit both Twilight and your step dads. All I just need is enough to give to Twilight and to my peeps. ” You thought as you approached the ATM. Before placing your hand on it, you first imagine the approximate amount of money you won’t do this for greed.
Twilight mentioned the amount of money she needs and you placed your hand on the machine as you began hacking into it. In a matter of seconds money came out from it, the normal way not just bursting out of it. You put the money in your bag to give it to Twilight later. Then you placed your hand back on it again and withdrew enough to give to your step parents later.

“Thanks again for giving me a ride.” Twilight said, clinging on to you as you drove her home. “All I just need is to do overtime and earn a bit more cash then I will get my bicycle repaired.”
“You don’t have to do that.” You stopped and parked your ATV for a while. “Maybe this will help.” You then reached into your bag and took out the money.
“N-Night Star, no I couldn’t accept that.” Twilight refuses the money as she pushes your hand away with it.
“You need this more than I do, just take it.” You handed it back to her.
Twilight looks at the money then back at you. After thinking this through Twilight gave you a warm smile and accepted the money but not after giving you a hug for your generosity as you restarted your ATV and drove to Twilight’s place to drop her.
By the time you arrived at your house after dropping off Twilight, you see both of your stepdads in the dining room with what it looks like the bills. They appreciated you helping them to pay the bills after treating you like their real son but the money you three earned isn't enough. That is when you took out your bag and poured the money which they became flabbergasted if they are seeing was real.
"Boy, w-where...where Ah'll get this from." One of them asked feeling which the money is actually real.
"Don't worry about it dad. I can't let both of you do the work and leave me out of it." You took your bag and before leaving the dining room. "It's the least I can do and a thank you for raising me"

As the week goes after going home from Canterlot High, you are busy in your backyard with a project which is actually a mech suit from a movie you watch which the suit is called AMP (which is an acronym for Amplified Mobility Platform). This inspired you after the drone Twilight made to take selfie pictures also the robot she made to help with the backdrop of the school’s play ‘The Dazzled’ and Micro Chip’s toaster robot name jvj-24601 that you want to go further on recreating the machine from that fictional movie to real life after watching a demonstration video of it.
While testing its hand and arm movements, you heard a bell ringing which was actually a bicycle’s bell. You turned to see Twilight arrive and got off her bicycle which is already fixed.
“Twilight, what are you doing here?” You asked while getting down from the AMP.
“Oh nothing, just checking with your mech suit you are working on.” Twilight approached you and saw your progress. “I guess you are almost done with it.”
“Right. Just need to work on making it move using its legs. I see that you already had your bicycle fixed.” After you mentioned that Twilight’s smile dropped as she now gave you a concerned look. “What is it?”
“Yes again, thanks for the money which is the reason why I am here to talk with you. Please don’t tell me you use your technopathy on an atm machine.”
There is no denying that Twilight guessed it correctly. You had to think of some excuse but with you getting your powers on that same day, you can’t fool her. Instead of making up a story...
“Yes, I did.” You respond which wasn’t a pleasant answer to your friend.
“This is bad, really bad!” Twilight now begins to panic for a moment but then calms herself down. “Night, I really appreciate you lending me money. But what you did was stealing, do you even realize you will get arrested for this.”
“I thought of that last part you said and after seeing its security camera on it, I also hacked into it so I won’t get traced.” You said with guilt. “But still I am sorry, it won’t happen again.”
“It better not.”
Twilight still felt something in her heart even though you apologized and promised it will not happen again, she felt darkness inside of you. It wasn’t just about stealing the money but on how you use your powers also with your personality. Twilight was afraid that if you will recall what happened in the past and will use your powers in the wrong way in the present.
Author's Note
Now some of the lines are actually from the transcript itself from the Friendship Games, just to prove I am not stealing them. About what Principal Cinch did to Twilight, let's say your minds will be blown away after reading this chapter (if it did happened).
Dark Fate Part 2
You slowly opened your eyes for another day only to find out something isn’t right. Which doesn’t look like your bedroom but you are outside and the sky is very cloudy and you are in your Crystal Prep uniform.
“Principal Celestia, on behalf of Crystal Prep, I demand that you forfeit the Friendship Games!”
You recognize that voice and you see Principal Cinch who confronted Dean Cadence, Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna. You also see Twilight and her friends are also there which all of them and you are at Canterlot High. Instead of guessing that this is all a dream and they didn’t even know you are here, you quickly hid behind the stand to where the Wondercolt’s statue was and eavesdrop on the conversation.
“Actually, we're all to blame. Mostly it was her .”
After what Sour Sweet said you now know that she and her friends are sorry for what they did. You then hear voices inside your head tempting you to do what is right. Forgiving Sour Sweet and the others and properly apologizing to them will follow later, for now your eyes are on one person who started it all as you slowly got out of your hiding place and they didn’t notice your presence yet.
“Obviously, my students have been infected with your magic. But I plan on taking all of this up with the school board!” Principal Cinch said in anger.
“Good. I'm sure they would be very interested in hearing all about the magical students with wings.” Principal Celestia said.
“Oh, and the portals to different dimensions.” Vice-Principal Luna added.
“And don't forget to tell them about the talking dog.” Dean Cadence said as she giggles.
“Because that would never ruin your reputation.” Spike added.
“WHICH IS THE DUMBEST THING YOU EVER SAID!”
The last one who spoke had a bigger reaction not just to Principal Cinch but also to Twilight, Dean Cadence and the other students of Crystal Prep for they knew who that voice belongs to.
“Night Star?!”
They follow Twilight's voice and see standing next to where the Wondercolt’s statue was, is you. Everyone from Canterlot High wonder who that is while the ones from Crystal Prep questions why you’re here since you aren’t feeling well.
“Mr. Star, what are you doing here?” Principal Cinch asked as you approach her with your fists clenched up. “Don’t tell me you pretended to be sick-”
Before Principal Cinch could finish out of nowhere, filled with rage you gave her a hard to slap to the face as you returned it with another making her fall to her knees.
“Night Star?” Twilight just stood there horrified and still processing after things escalated so quick as you picked up Cinch by grabbing her top as you begin choking her. “Night Star stop!”
Twilight quickly put Spike down as she tries to pull you away separating you from Principal Cinch. Dean Cadence and the others helped and it took a little while to stop you from your assault leaving Principal Cinch coughing. You easily shook off from Twilight and the others grasp and tackled into Principal Cinch resuming with choking her.
“Night Star that’s enough!” Sunny Flare said with her friends successfully separating you from Cinch again. This time making sure that Twilight and the others keep their grip on you this time while Cadence checks on your principal.
“How...dare you...attack...your own principal!” Principal Cinch said between her coughing.
“Principal my ass!” You said after shaking yourself from Twilight and the others grip on you. “I know everything that happened here. The Equestrian magic, Twilight becoming Midnight Sparkle, all of this wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t pressure my friend over here on using the magic she gathered in that stupid pendant just to win the games. And this wouldn’t started if you didn’t threaten Twilight to cancel her application to Everton if she didn’t participate!”
“Principal Cinch is that true, that you will deny her application if Twilight didn’t join?!” Cadence who couldn’t believe how you knew all of this asked Principal Cinch who did not respond. She now knew as she turns her attention back to you. “Listen whatever just happened, I-I will take care of this. I don’t even know how or when she did that.”
“I know.” Twilight said getting Cadence’s attention. “It happened when s-she told you and Shining Armor to get the contact sheets for the Everton independent study program.”
“Of course, she made them do that.” You said angrily. “It’s obviously a diversion, a distraction for Cadence and Shining Armor to get the files so she can be able to...GET AWAY!”
You see Principal Cinch trying to sneak away as you felt something heavy attached to your pants which is actually your wrench. This gave you the opportunity as you took it and threw it as hard as you can successfully hitting Cinch at the back of her leg making her fall to the ground in pain.
“Night Star!” Dean Cadence grabs a hold of your left arm but you pushed her aside. This led her to remove the glove you wore revealing your prosthetic arm as you continue to approach Cinch. “Somebody, stop him!”
Due to how angry you are, Twilight cries for you to stop prove useless. Then two students try to stop you who happen to be Onyx Steel and Neon Lights. Their attempt also fails after you push Neon, you dislocated Onyx’s arm and you landed your fist directly at the shades Neon is actually wearing right now as he fell to the ground as you know why he’s in pain. A third one tried to stop you which was Ardee, this time he managed to pin you to the ground trying to talk this out with you since his sibling is a lawyer and will take care on what Principal Cinch did. But his reasoning proved also useless since you don’t want anyone getting in your way and had to use a debris from the statue as you slammed it at Ardee’s head. This gave you the opportunity to kick him out of the way as he became unconscious.
“Ardee!” Rarity rushed over to her friend’s side as you got back to your feet.
Principal Cinch tries to crawl away after you hit her at the leg. After you retrieve your wrench then made your approach to your principal.
“Night Star!” Twilight got in front blocking your path and you see she’s crying. “Please stop. Principal Cinch had enough, she already lost.”
“After saying that she will deny your application to Everton and what she did to you, I don’t think so.” You approach your friend who is still blocking your path. “There will be no one to save her. Now get out of my way Twilight because its either you're with me or against me.”
“Look, Everton doesn’t matter anymore.” She responds between her sniffs. “What matters is what will happen to you. Not only you attacked Principal Cinch but also Cadence and others who shouldn’t be involved because of me. Please Night Star, stop while it isn’t too late.”
You felt that you failed Twilight after saying that her application to Everton doesn’t matter anymore. She even returned your kindness to her. You then hear the whispers from earlier, it sounded familiar but demonic.
“Twilight.” You said placing your hand on her shoulder. “I decide my fate, not you.”
You pushed your friend out of the way. The tension rose as you throw your wrench and as the distance closes before hitting your principal...
“Night Star!”
Hearing Twilight calling out your name, immediately opened your eyes and you got up breathing heavily. You looked around to see you are back in your room and it’s 3 am in the morning. You couldn’t believe what you dreamt was very horrible and you did hear whispers in your dream which sounds like Twilight but more on the evil side. You thought that it couldn’t be Midnight Sparkle since it's just a bad dream as you went back to bed.

The next day after having that horrible dream you are busy working with your AMP until you got a message from Twilight to meet her at the park. Without question you got dressed and hop on your atv.
Few minutes of driving and you arrived at the park. You search for Twilight and it didn't take long you found her at a bench near the pond looking all gloomy and bothered by something that Sunset and Dusk Eyes were also there with her.
“Twilight?” You said softly after approaching both of them.
“Hey.” Twilight scooched over offering you to sit with her.
“So, you said you want to talk about something?”
“Y-yes, it’s about a dream I had yesterday. It’s actually a nightmare.”
“Midnight Sparkle, again?”
“Yeah, same thing.” Sunset said while comforting her friend. “But this one isn’t about Midnight Sparkle only.”
“What do mean?” You asked that there is more to that.
“Midnight Sparkle wasn’t the only one, you showed up in Twilight dream. But it’s worse.”
You are all ears after hearing what Sunset said. Your friend becoming Midnight Sparkle was bad, but you showing up was worse? Twilight starts to narrate the bad dream she had.
It was night time and Twilight was walking down the street as she sees a newspaper laying underneath a street light. She was about to past it but instead she picks it up and sees the cover of a woman who was attacked by a suspect whose identity is still unknown. The description says the name of the victim to be former Principal Cinch of Crystal Prep.
“Who would do such a thing ?” Twilight couldn’t believe that something like this happened to her and begins to wonder who will do such a thing.
Before she could even guess, something went a blaze from a distance as Twilight drops the newspaper and ran towards the light. The closer she got the more horrified she became to realize it was her formal school, Crystal Prep Academy, now engulf in flames. She begins to panic because she doesn't have her phone nor a nearby phonebooth or someone to call the fire department. What also caught her eyes was someone standing facing the school laughing being the cause of this. She easily recognized the left arm to be prosthetic which only means one person.
“Night Star!” Twilight called out to you.
You face her, you are wearing your steampunk goggles with a gas mask. Twilight asked if you are the one that caused this which you did not respond. Then you begin to raise both of your hands and then leaned over while lowering both hands as the fire behind you grew bigger and became aqua blue with an inferno created around you two. You continue to laugh demonically as aqua blue fire appeared around your goggles.
“And to think that there is no one as terrifying as I am, guess I was wrong.”
Another voice came which Twilight easily recognize and fears. She turned around and behind her is her worst nightmare, Midnight Sparkle.
“No-no not you again.” Twilight’s fear increases now she has to deal with her alter ego and you.
“YES. You will still fear that I will return and you will become me. Also...”
Midnight pointed back to you which Twilight follows which you are still continuing to burn down Crystal Prep with a flamethrower. Before Twilight could say a word, Midnight quickly came from behind covering her mouth with one hand and wrapped her other arm around Twilight immobilizing her.
“Even though you can control yourself so you won’t become me, but your friend will become like me only stronger, ruthless and more violent. His hatred, anger, his taste for vengeance and how he can bore a grudge is his strongest traits. Once he overpressures himself with stress, his mind will shut down leaving him vulnerable let’s say for something that one of your friends have that will be a threat to you and the others. Night Star.”
You turned around after you hear Midnight’s voice as you dropped your flamethrower. You approached both of them while leaving footprints made of fire behind. Twilight tries to struggle to break free but feel helpless that Midnight Sparkle was stronger.
“Night Star, don’t .” Twilight said in her thoughts for her mouth was covered. Once standing in front of them attached to your belt which is actually a bandoleer, you pulled out a flare gun and pointed directly at Twilight. After a pull of the trigger...
“NOOOOOOOO!”
“And you are afraid that I might do that because of what happened before?” You asked getting a slow nod from her. “I...also had a dream too.”
You then narrated the dream you have. You also mention parts when you heard someone whispering inside your head. It sounded like Twilight but it doesn’t sound right. Her voice sounds...evil which you quickly guessed.
“It doesn’t make sense, it couldn’t be Midnight Sparkle because she is an alter ego to Twilight. How in the world did I end up hearing her voice inside my head.”
“Hmmm, it is normal for Twilight to have bad dreams and yes because Midnight Sparkle is her alter ego.” Dusk Eyes states his opinion. “In your case, it could be that you sometimes recall what happened in the past mostly whenever you are stressed on something-”
“Wait.” You stopped Dusk Eyes for a moment. “Whatever happened before I am not thinking about it anymore and recently I don’t feel stressed.”
“I agree with Dusk,” Sunset said. “Yours is just a bad dream if you don’t think about it. For Twilight,” Sunset placed her hand on Twilight’s. “It will take time for her to forgive herself, also we are here for her as her friends.”
“Thanks,” Twilight pulls Sunset for a hug as you and Dusk watch. “I guess I just needed to vent this out.”
“It’s normal for that to happen. If you need someone to talk to, just call one of us.” Sunset said while closing her right hand and positioned near her ear with her pinkie and thumb pointing out.
The four of you stayed there for a while. Then it's time for you guys to leave as Sunset got on Dusk’s motorcycle and Twilight got on your ATV.

What you didn't realize is during that night while you are sleeping, the actual cause for your bad dream is when a shadow appeared inside your room as it gazes upon you.
"This one is strong and has a harsh past, both mind and body. He can be the perfect host but wants to forget his past and move on, I'll take care of that. " The fiend then has part of it entered you through your mouth. "If I can't take control of Dusk Eyes to get to Sunset, then I will come back for you. For now, I've left you a present that you will regret...soon. "
After the shadow left, you immediately woke up after having a bad dream. You then checked your clock that its 3 am in the morning and you went back to sleep without even knowing the danger that is inside you.
You Don't Need Me Anymore Part 1
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Most of you are at the Music Room ready to discuss the plans for a fundraiser. It wasn’t long you all received a message from Pinkie that Ardee and Rarity actually went on a date and to go discuss the plans without them. Some of them volunteer to help with the construction and repairs as you offer to help with them.
The fight that you had with Ardee the other day triggered a past memory that you two almost did before also another thing you need to do…

Being fed up with Principal Cinch and this environment you pack up and grab your things from your locker.
“Hey, Night Star.”
You weren’t looking but you recognize that voice to be Indigo Zap. You turned around for a moment to see it was her and went back to what you’re doing.
“So...you’re really going to leave?”
“Beat it,” Are the only words you said.
“Funny that we will lose two of our top students…”
“Leave me alone Indigo.”
“Listen, about Twilight-”
The name she mentioned triggered you as you grabbed her by her collar and slammed against the locker with your left arm on her chest as you stared daggers at her. Other students immediately back away from both of you.
“You really had the guts to say her name, do you? After what you all did to her and to me.” You respond as Indigo raises both of her hands. “You will all regret what you did.”
“Night Star stop!” You heard Sunny Flare’s voice with some footsteps which the others are with her. “Now I know we don’t want to regret what will happen next. But we are sorry about being mean to both of you, mostly Twilight. Just please release Indigo.”
“Yeah dude, we are already against Principal Cinch.” Lemon Zest added.
“P-please.,” Indigo sutter also shaking on what you will do to her next. “I’m sorry.”
Sunny Flare had a point but you still couldn’t bear after everything that happened and the struggles with Crystal Prep’s environment. You let Indigo go as you grabbed the last of your belongings and left. You thought that would be the last time you will see them...you were wrong.
Months later….
At Canterlot Mall after you got all the tools and parts that you need at the hardware store that your dad requested. You are now leaving for home…
"Night Star!"
You heard Twilight’s voice as follows to where her voice came from. You see that she is with her friends and your smile drops when you also see four familiar faces with them; Sunny Flare, Sour Sweet, Sugarcoat and Lemon Zest. You didn’t give any reaction as Twilight gestured you to come to them.

Before you showed up, I was asking Sunny Flare and the others how everything is doing back at Crystal Prep Academy. Dean Cadence took over as the new principal and they say that Cinch got fired and arrested and that you know something about this.”

What you see is darkness after the fight you had with Ardee. You can hear the voices of people which sound familiar. Another thing that is noticeable is that you are missing something as you look down to your left, your prosthetic arm got severed and lucky it didn't go to your flesh.
“Figures…” You said to yourself while checking your missing arm. Until another important thing came to your mind. “...Twilight.”
You see your jacket is hanging on the desk beside your bed as you gently put it on since your body is a bit sore. As you got up, the sound of your boots was heard by Nurse Redheart as she saw you were heading to the door.
“Mr Star, where are you going?” She said as she followed you outside the clinic but you weren't listening. “Mr. Star you need to get back in bed you are in no condition to walk.”

I was afraid why you’re doing like that until Rainbow mentions about some movie that a scene like this that something burst from the chest. "You never wanted this to happen and it controlled you against your will. Please Night, don’t throw your life away like that.”
“Like you said, you already have your friends. You don’t need me anymore.”
“Yes I do.” Twilight pulled you in for a tight embrace. “You were my only friend back at Crystal Prep. When I transferred to Canterlot High, I was sad that you were left there. But I was happy when you transferred the week after only for Dean Cadence to speak with Principal Celestia. Please, don’t leave me alone again. I need you.”
You didn’t say anything after all those memories Twilight brought up. It felt strange but you shrugged it off as you wrapped your arms around Twilight, comforting her.
“Of course not, you won’t be alone again .” You thought as you caressed her hair with your right hand. “I’m sorry I made you worry.”
The Traitor of Crystal Prep
In one class Mr. Cranky Doodle distributed back the papers with the results from a previous Math test which all the students groan worriedly on what their scores will be. But there were two who were confident as they looked at each other with a smug on their faces as the teacher called their names for their test papers.
“Ms. Twilight Sparkle and Mr. Night Star here are yours.” Mr. Cranky Doodle handed both of your papers upside down for he is aware on this contest both of you are having between you and Twilight on who is better and smarter.
Your math class ended which is the last one for the week. Before meeting up with the others at the statue, you stood up from your table as you approached Twilight who is still sitting while her eyes didn’t leave yours. You now stood next to her table with a confident smile while holding your paper as she returns it also confident as she held hers.
“Ready to lose, again.” Twilight said as she prepares to show you her test score.
“I got careless when we had that science test with Dr. Hooves, but not this time. So, whenever you’re ready.”
“Here... we... GO!” Both of you said in unison as both of you showed your papers to each other.
Your friendship with Twilight began way back, weeks before the Friendship Games.

Crystal Prep Academy which is Canterlot High’s rival school. A very prestigious school in the outside but the environment inside was the opposite, a very vile one.
Twilight Sparkle was the top student in all tests and subjects. But all of her classmates were mean towards her and treat her as an outcast that she doesn’t belong here, which is the reason why she is all alone and never had any friends.
There is another student who studies there who is just like Twilight. But this student is considered more than just an outcast, every student considers him a threat to them. One male student of CPA tries to humiliate him and taking his steampunk goggles that he wore on his neck, that student regret it as he fought back and he is the one that got humiliated. Most of the students then avoids him and they also even want him to leave for they think that he will turn against Cystal Prep. But because of his high scores and grades to contribute to Crystal Prep, Principal Cinch had other plans and decides to let him stay. That student is you and your is Night Star
This is how when Twilight Sparkle ‘The Diamond in the Rough’ of Crystal Prep meets you, Night Star which students called you ‘The Traitor of Crystal Prep’.
One day you exited through the doors of Crystal Prep to get to the parking lot. You already got used to your fellow students murmurs while avoiding eye contact with you. You got on to your ATV and now leaving the parking lot until you heard a commotion happened near the soccer field.
“I am so sorry.”
“Why do you keep on bumping into people, what are you blind or something?!”
You stopped and turned around to see Twilight Sparkle being ganged up by ten students, four girls and six boys. One of them even had the guts to push as she tumbles and fell to the ground. This is another thing that you do not like is on people overpowering the weak ones. You then turned your ATV around and drove it towards them. The sound of the engine caught the attention of the other students as they see you getting off of your ride.
“What do you want, traitor?” One of them called out.
“Your life. I’m thinking about taking it.” Those words of yours made the girls back away leaving you to deal with the boys. “See my business is with that girl you’re picking on. I heard her apologizing but pushing her then ganging up, that’s going a bit too far.”
“Really?”
“I think it’s time I teach you fellas a lesson.”
“She’s all yours, you two outcasts are meant to be together anyway.”
He then gave you a push but you returned it with three punches to his face as he fell to the ground. While Twilight was looking for her glasses, even though she can’t see she can hear what's going on. The rest of the boys attacked you but you retaliate as you had to throw some of them even kicking one of them in the gut while the other who charged only got clotheslined by you.
The fight did not last that long as their bodies lay on the ground as you see the girls backed away as far as possible, even the coach just stood back who doesn’t want to get involve. You approach the first one that you punched in the face as you picked a soccer ball that one of them was carrying and knelt in front of him as you slammed the ball while holding it on his stomach.
“You’re lucky I didn’t go too far and your injuries aren’t that bad. You will recover before the Friendship Games, dumbass!” You said then left them as you approach Twilight Sparkle who is still looking for her glasses.
“Where are they?” Twilight’s vision is a bit blurry since she needs her glasses but then she felt them only for it to be taken as she tries to grab it. “Excuse me, please. I need my glasses back.”
You then knelt down and put them on her. As her vision clear she recognize your face as she quickly backs away.
“Y-You're the traitor! Listen I don’t want anything to do with you. I am just heading for home and-” She then pauses and sees the boys who were mean to her earlier are being dragged back into the school which she could tell after all the noise. The most surprising thing is that she sees you picking up her books. “Wait, you really don’t have to.”
You hand her stuff back as you offered her a hand and helped her get to her feet. After she wore her backpack, you moved your ATV to her.
“Get on,” You said.
“There is really no-”
“Shut up and just tell me where you live and I’ll do the driving while you do the directions. Now hop on!”
Twilight thought about it on why you’re being so nice to her and offering her a ride to drop her home. She doubted no more and gave you a small smile.
“Thanks.”
She then gets on your ATV, puts on the other helmet and clings to you as the two of you left the parking lot. While driving she asks on why you helped her and you stated that both of you have the same scenario which she understands but you are treated worse than her. She regrets that you had to beat those boys up just to stand for her but you explained that this is your problem not hers.
After a while of driving, you arrived at her place as she gets off of your ATV. You then hear a barking sound coming from near their garage as a purple dog run towards her.
“Spike!” Twilight knelt down as she catches her dog in her arms. “Sorry to keep you waiting that I left you alone here. Don’t worry tomorrow I will bring you to school just make sure you don’t make any noise so I won’t get caught, okay?”
Her focus on Spike was interrupted by a whistle then a clearing of a throat. She turns to see that you are still here. But you raised your right hand as you use your left to purse your lips indicating you will keep her secret on bringing her dog to school.
“Again, thanks for giving me a ride and helping me back there.”
“I’m not perfect, but you’re lucky I wasn’t expelled and Principal Cinch let me stay. I’m worth it as your first friend. To properly introduce myself, my name is Night Star.”
Twilight then giggles a bit which you raised an eyebrow as your smile fell. Before you get any ideas, she immediately clears her throat for an explanation
“Sorry about that, it’s just both our names are related.”
That was the first time Twilight smiled to somebody besides her dog who became her first friend.
It was the day of the Friendship Games and it was unexpected that you weren’t feeling well which you can’t be able to participate. At the end of the day which is now nighttime you tried to call Twilight but she did not pick up. You then tried to call the other person who is close to her, Dean Cadence.
While you are waiting for her to pick up, you opened your online account on your cellphone and check to see if there were any videos posted about what happened at the Friendship Games. Then you got a video message from an unknown sender on your phone as you watched in horror after Twilight opened her pendant and became a demon that opened portals to another world. You then resume to contact Cadence and it didn’t take long she answered.
“Dean Cadence it’s me,” You introduced yourself.
“Oh, hello Night Star. Is there something that you need on why you’d call?”
“Yes, tell me exactly what happened at the Friendship Games.”
Next week which is Monday, Twilight had her tour around CHS to familiarize herself with the place. She is at the library (obviously) as Sunset Shimmer came looking for her.
“I thought that you’d be here.” Sunset took a seat next to her. “So, you already familiar with the place. Are you okay?”
“First question yes, second question no.” Twilight responds but her smile dropped on Sunset’s other question.
“What’s wrong?”
“It’s just I have a friend back at Crystal Prep. He is my only friend and I think he will be lonely when he finds out I moved here to Canterlot High.”
“I understand on you feel on being alone. I mean, Principal Cinch planned this just to keep the reputation of Crystal Prep. How she could that?”
On the other hand, back at Crystal Prep Academy things are even worse.
“HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?!”
You are inside Principal Cinch’s office demanding and explanation. Outside the office five members of Crystal Prep’s ‘Shadowbolts”; Sunny Flare, Sour Sweet, Lemon Zest, Sugarcoat and Indigo Zap eavesdrop on what going on inside.
“Do you really have to mention us on this?” Sunny Flare asked.
“Do I have any other choice,” Sour Sweet replies. “It’s either I cooperate and speak or he takes my life. Principal Cinch is specifically the one to be blamed for this !
“That we sided with her to pressure Twilight on releasing the magic she gathered in her pendant that turned her into a rampaging demon and nearly ripped the world apart which is the reason why he is also angry with us because he is her only friend here.” Sugarcoat bluntly added.
“Seriously dude, you didn’t have to say and remind us all of that.” Lemon comments.
“You can’t blame me for being too honest and second, I’m a lady not a dude.”
“Can both of you be quiet. I’m trying to listen what’s going on.” Indigo then places her ear back on the door to listen on what’s going on inside.
Meanwhile back inside Principal Cinch’s office.
“And you really have the nerve to go that far to deny her application to Everton if she doesn’t participate.” You said while she is facing in front of the shelves containing the trophies that Crystal Prep earned, away from you.
“I don’t have time to deal with you Mr. Star. I have to think of some explanation to bring this scenario to the schoolboard after what happened back there.” Principal Cinch said after placing one of the trophies back in the shelf. "It's all Twilight's fault on how come the games ended up in a tie."
“Oh please, you deserve to get fired.”
“I beg your pardon?”
“Whatever you did back there, you deserve what’s coming to you. But seriously, threatening forcing your own student to join the games. What the fuck is wrong with you?”
Principal Cinch slammed her hand on her desk silencing you after reaching her desk. You being an interruption to her plans has now gone too far.
“Now you listen to me. In case you forgotten that I am still principal here and I will do everything and anything to maintain Crystal Prep Academy’s reputation. Even if it means using my own students and threatening just to make sure the reputation of school never dies and I will not be stopped by the likes of you!” She raised her voice at you but keeping her dignity intact after that. “If you have nothing else to say, you may now leave because you are now hereby expelled from Crystal Prep.”
You maintained your glare at Cinch for a while but you smiled because the last part she said was all you need to hear.
“You should have expelled me a long time ago.”
You gave her your last words as you exited her office as you passed Sour Sweet and her friends who were outside. What Principal Cinch did not realize is that while she was facing away, you had your phone in your left hand and set it on record facing downwards before she turns around and didn’t even noticing about it.
You are heading to your locker and you see Twilight’s old research room that the door was unlock and someone is in there. You approach the room and peeked to see a man which happens familiar face that Twilight knows.
"What are you doing here?” You asked.
“Oh hey, just getting Twilight’s stuff because she now transferred to Canterlot High.”
“I’m aware on that, Cadence told me when I called her. Let me give you a hand and I ‘m not sure if I am overthinking this but we should get the most important stuff first; laptop, cpu any important written documents, those. I have a bad feeling that Principal Cinch might go after these to show to the schoolboard.”
“Well, we don’t want that to happen.” You were surprised that he agrees to what you said. “Twily didn’t deserve what Cinch did to her. You are lucky that I am on your side since I am her BBBFF.”
With the help of Shining Armor and the janitor that he asked for help, you got all of Twilight’s stuff outside Crystal Prep Academy. You quickly ran back into the school to grab your stuff at your locker. It didn’t take long you came out with your stuff as Shining Armor called for a taxi that the ride has been paid already to drop you home.
Upon arriving home, you brought Twilight’s stuff with the help of the taxi driver inside the garage since your two step dads are out at work. Why you record that message earlier was part of your plot as you opened up your computer to edit it on removing some portions involving this magical stuff Cadence mentioned. You are now about to post it online on the site of Crystal Prep until you hear the door ringing from downstairs. You checked and see that it’s actually Dean Cadence and Shining Armor.
The reason why both of them were here is on how Dean Cadence knew what you did earlier after hearing from Sunny Flare that she or one of her friends saw you have your cellphone out and recorded your conversation with Principal Cinch then hearing with Shining Armor on helping him recover Twilight’s stuff. You explained on what you will do but Cadence explained the consequences that Crystal Prep won’t just loose its reputation, complaints will rise which may lead to the school itself closing down, students will lose their education and the staff will lose their jobs.
“Is there anything I can do for you to change your mind?” Dean Cadence reasoned out with you for she didn’t see this coming from the beginning on what Cinch did to Twilight.
“I have a proposal, two that I can suggest that will benefit not you but Crystal Prep. If you want to hear them first.” Shining Armor suggested.
You are all ears which the first proposal is that you will hand them the original copy and the edited copy of your recording and they will take care of Principal Cinch without the school shutting down. The second proposal is to transfer you to Canterlot High since re enrolling you back to CPA is not an option.
“I don’t know. I mean after what I am about to do.” You are in favor of the first one but the second one...
“It’s the least thing we can do since you were her only friend back at Crystal Prep,” Cadence said. “Besides, she will be happier if her friend is there with her.”
You did over react for no one must be treated like this but you accepted their proposal. Dean Cadence will contact Principal Celestia about this for you to be transferred to CHS starting tomorrow as you saved the copy of the recordings both original and edited in a flash drive and gave it to her. You helped Shining Armor gets Twilight’s stuff from the garage and load them into the car that belongs to Cadence. Before they left, you again apologized for what happened and thanked them for the proposal which they did in return.
The next day, you parked your ATV at the parking lot as you entered the main doors to the halls of Canterlot. The atmosphere compared to Crystal Prep is very different for you see that the students are friendly here as some of them greeted you for being new here.
Your first priority is to look for the principal’s office as you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned to see a tall woman with light cerulean, light turquoise, very light cobalt blue and pale heliotrope hair wearing a gold blazer with a pin shaped of a sun on her right collar with purple pants.
“You must be the transfer student Cadence told me about when she called yesterday. My name is Principal Celestia and welcome to Canterlot High.”
“Yes, you are the one I am looking for. The name...”
“Night Star?”
Before you could say your name, you recognize that voice anywhere. You turned around to see Twilight Sparkle who just stood there with her mouth slightly open. Then a big smile grew on her face.
“Oh my gosh it really is you!” Twilight rushes over as you catch her in your embrace. “What are you doing here?”
“I’ve transferred here. Also, I heard about what happened at the Friendship Games.” That last part you mentioned made her smile fell she looks away from you.
“Oh, that.” She said feeling guilty about that.
“Listen.” You placed a hand under her chin as you raised her head to make eye contact with you. “What matter is that you are okay and I am here now.”
Twilight didn’t answer for a moment. It wasn’t long she gave you a smile as tears start to form in her eyes as she hugs you again.
“I’m happy that you are here with me, thanks.”

At Canterlot Mall while the others are having their own fun time, you groan but also enjoyed seeing your friend enjoying her milkshake and burger since the loser has to treat the winner out.
“Pfft, I can’t believe you lost by a point to Twilight.” Sunset said while trying to hold her laughter comparing both of your papers.
“Don’t remind me.” You see Twilight taking out a pocketsize notebook where she keeps both of your scores. “I hope you’re not cheating with the points on that.”
“Oh please, I would never cheat on you.” Twilight said until you and her friends are giving her strange looks. She didn’t know at first but realize what she said just now causing her cheeks to be slightly pink while sheepishly laughing. “No-no-no let me rephrase that. I would never cheat with our scores is what I meant to say.”
You and Twilight have been competing on who is smarter on the subjects both of you are good at, not like Twilight sucks at PE but it’s a piece of cake to you or she excels at History but you suck at it. Since then, you considered each other both friends and rivals.
