Daybreaking Flash Sentry

You Want Me To Do What?

“Flash Sentry?”

Rolling his eyes, Flash started to grumble. “As if having to work a double shift isn’t enough, now they probably want me to go stand outside another room for eight hours. I swear, this job isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.“ He hoped whoever was looking for him would at least give him a chance to eat some grub first.

“You are Flash Sentry, are you not?” an icy voice behind him asked.

He started to look over his shoulder. “Look, I’m really hungry, so can-“

His protest died in his throat when he saw it was Princess Luna standing behind him, one eyebrow raised.

“Yes, Corporal?” she asked, daring him to finish his statement.

“N..Nothing, Your Highness,” he stammered, suddenly remembering to salute.

“I see.” Making no further comment, she started to walk around him. The stallions on either side quickly got out of the way, not wanting to be part of whatever punishment Luna might see fight to inflict on the hapless pegasus.

“You will suffice,” she finally said. “Follow me.”

Flash gulped, feeling as though he were being led to certain doom.

As feelings went, it wasn’t a wrong one, as he would later discover.

Luna led him back upstairs, not to the main hall or Lunar Wing as he’d expected, but to the Solar Wing, where the private rooms of Princess Celestia were located. Flash had several questions he wanted to ask, but having put his hoof in his mouth earlier he thought it best to remain quiet for now.

With a push of her magic, Luna opened the heavy double doors that led to Princess Celestia’s study. “Enter.”

Flash did as directed. Waiting inside for him were Heavy Hoof, one of the senior leaders of the Royal Guard, and Raven Inkwell, Princess Celestia’s personal assistant.

“Ah, Sentry, good,” Heavy Hoof said. “Just the pony we need.”

“Sir?”

“If you can start signing these forms,” Raven said, gesturing at a stack of parchment on the desk next to her, “we can get this over with.”

Luna, who had taken a seat behind Celestia’s desk, rapped one hoof on its surface. “I am as eager to be done with this as you are, Ms. Inkwell, but I do believe it would be for the best if we explained to the corporal exactly what this special assignment is. Heavy Hoof?”

At the mention of a special assignment, Flash stood a little taller. Finally, some recognition.

“Of course, Princess Luna,” the aged stallion said. “Well, Flash, it’s like this. On occasion, Princess Celestia has a particularly bad day. We need to you to help her get over that bad day. It involves a lot of stuff that you’ll likely find enjoyable enough, so long as you play your cards right. And don’t worry. Most of the ponies that have done this assignment went on to lead mostly normal lives afterward.”

There was a brief silence in the study, with all four occupants exchanging glances.

“So…what do you need me to do, exactly? Because I didn’t get anything out of that.”

Luna facehoofed.

“We need you to boink Princess Celestia,” Raven said placidly. “Or rather, Daybreaker.”

Flash’s eyes nearly bugged out of his skull. “What!?”

Sensing the need to explain, Luna tapped one hoof again. “Ponies all have different ways of managing stress. Some take to reading, or flying, or spending time with friends. My sister…well, she does her best, but ruling Equestria is a singularly trying task. Sometimes, the usual methods aren’t enough. I should have known the meeting with the Canterlot nobility this morning was too much for her to shoulder alone given recent stresses, but she insisted.” She stifled a yawn. “When she hits her limit, she transforms into her dark alter-ego, Daybreaker, and goes on a rampage.”

“Obviously, we’re well prepared for this sort of thing,” Raven continued. “There is a special indestructible room located in this wing just for her to spend time rampaging in. When the schedule allows, we let her remain inside for a few days until she tires out and emerges as the Celestia the nation loves. However, we have a state dinner this evening, and we obviously can’t send Daybreaker to that, so that’s where you come in.”

Flash looked at the three of them, waiting for one to break and admit this was a joke. “You want me to…do the thing…with Princess Celestia?!”

“Ooh, he’s quick on the uptake, this one,” Raven said, shaking her head. “Yes, that’s what we just said. A good boinking is the most effective way to help her both blow off steam and weaken Daybreaker’s hold enough to allow Celestia to reassert control. Trust me, better ponies than you and I have tried various methods over the centuries. Nothing works more effectively than this.”

“And this is real? You’re not joking?”

“This is not a joking matter,” Luna replied. "Boinking my sister is serious business."

There was a brief moment of silence.

“Okay. I’ll do it," he finally said.

Raven quickly guided him through the forms. Flash was so caught up in the thought of being able to live out the fantasy of so many ponies that he skipped right over reading lines such as ‘agree to waive all liability in the event of death’ and ‘burial services will be provided at Crown expense’.

When he was done, Luna led him out into the hallway once more. As they walked to the chamber where Daybreaker was being kept, Flash couldn’t help daydreaming of what awaited him.

“Before you enter, a word.” Luna pulled open a small box next to the door, levitating out a bottled filled with glowing red potion. “You’ll need to drink this before going inside.”

Flash took the bottle and downed it, smacking his lips at the aftertaste. “What was that, anyway?”

“Aphrodisiacs, as well as some magic to help you interact with her. Some stallions are frightened upon seeing her, so the potion makes sure they’re…ready to go, as it were.” She wrinkled her nose, as though the very idea were distasteful.

“Oookay. Anything else?”

“The ones that survive tend to be the ones who laugh at her bad jokes.”

Before Flash could ask what that meant, Luna pulled open the door and kicked him through it.

The room was blindingly bright, so much so that it took Flash’s eyes almost a minute to fully adjust.

But he didn’t need his eyes to hear the voice.

“Ah, what have we here?” He heard a sniffing noise, followed by what sounded like a cat’s purr. “It seems my sister has sent me fresh meat to help break the day!”

“Uh..Princess Celestia?”

A cackle. “Princess Celestia is not here, fool! I am Daybreaker!”

Right. They mentioned that name.

“Okay, Daybreaker. I’m Flash Sentry, and I’m here to give you a good time.”

His eyes finally cleared just in time to see the pony approaching him.

If asked to describe Princess Celestia, Flash would have used words like ‘serene’, ‘peaceful’, and ‘caring’.

Thinking of how he would describe Daybreaker, only one word came to mind: hot.

Real hot.

Celestia was a shapely mare in her own right, but Daybreaker was on another level entirely, much more angular and muscular. The mere sight of her set every nerve in his body tingling, but he did his best to ignore the tingles, and continued drinking in every inch of the very strong, very tall mare approaching him.

So tall that he found himself craning his neck to look into her eyes as she towered over him.

“A pegasus.” She spat the word with derision. “A mere pegasus cannot hope to please me. I need somepony stout to handle my needs.”

Flash felt a prick at his pride. “Well now, hold on there. I like to think I’m pretty good when it comes to pleasing a mare. There’s all kinds of things you can do with these wings.”

Daybreaker grinned, showing her pointed teeth, which Flash found strangely kinky.

“Is that so?” she teased. “Well…perhaps you can show me.”

Flash felt himself being grabbed in Daybreaker’s magic. She flipped him onto his back, spreading his limbs out to hold him in place.

“I hope you don’t mind me testing your resolve,” she said, as she spun around, presenting her rear to him. “Most stallions like a chance to get a little closer to my twin suns.”

Fully feeling the effects of the potion, Flash nodded, his tongue lolling out of his mouth as he stared. “That all looks very…yummy.”

Her teeth flashed again as she started to lower her rear down to his face. “Now’s your chance to taste the sun…”

Seeing the sheer size of the ass bearing down on his head, a small voice deep down inside Flash whispered doom.

The rest of him agreed, but decided that even if so, this was a perfectly acceptable way to die.

“So glad you could make it this evening, Fancy Pants.”

Princess Celestia was all smiles as she greeted the line of ponies making their way into the grand hall. Internally, she was feeling a mix of relief and embarrassment.

When Princess Luna appeared at her side as the line started to wind down, it was all Celestia could do to avoid immediately demanding an update.

“He’s stable,” Luna muttered during a brief gap in the line.

Celestia let out the breath she’d been holding. “Good.”

“Apparently he’s been babbling for the past hour about how much he enjoyed his time with her.”

Celestia flushed, feeling a slight tingle in her nethers as she recalled the first moments when she’d regained control over her body.

“I think she enjoyed it too,” she managed weakly, nodding to another passing group.

Luna grinned. She knew very well just how blurred the line between their two halves could become, and suspected Celestia had experienced more of that six-hour period than she claimed. Clearly, Flash Sentry was more talented than his goofy demeanor let on.

"He even enjoyed your monologuing," Luna added.

Celestia fought the urge to bury her face behind her hooves.

When another break in the line happened, Luna continued, “At any rate, he’ll need months to recover. The doctor fixed his dislocated jaw, but his pelvis is bruised, his mane’s been scorched off, his tongue is burned, and…other parts of him likewise need attention. Mostly burn cream.”

Celestia winced.

“All being paid for by the Crown, and he’s expected to make a full recovery,” Luna pointed out. “You know, you could look for a nice stallion to keep you company when you’re not her. I'm sure there are many who wouldn't mind spending time with..." Luna leaned in closer, whispering the next part into Celestia's ear, "the finest ass in Equestria.”

"Oh, dear Faust," Celestia muttered. "She...I really said that?"

"You did," Luna replied. "I'll try not to be too hurt, even if I think my moons eclipse your suns."

The last ponies in the receiving line passed by, freeing them up to enter the grand hall.

“Shall we?” Celestia asked, raising one hoof.

“After you,” Luna replied. She smiled, then added in a low tone, “Perhaps you can find somepony else to Flash…”

Celestia groaned.
