A stallion, a head taller than the Big Mac, arrives in Ponyville. He is quiet, shy, and he is deformed. He has nothing. No name, no past. The only thing he has is a ragged cloak, a matted coat, and scars.

Apparently for the ponies of Ponyville, that's all it takes to be called a monster.
