This is a side story, a complement of AOGIE, and it's not necessary to read to understand the principal story; it is a direct and crude description of Chrysalis hardships under Ainz rule, in my opinion is one of the best villains if not the best of MLP series and this is her redemption from my perspective.

Chapter 1
A Bug in the House
Walking through the corridors of the ninth floor of the great tomb of Nazarick, even with the shame of her weakness and the kneeling in front of the ruler of it, with sorrow for her shaming, shattered pride, the former queen of the changeling remained in absolute silence, still unable to accept the humiliation she had just suffered, she tried to distract herself by making conversation with whoever was walking beside.
* Glup * "S-so, are we... j-just for curiosity, how far are going to go?, Demiurge-sama."
"Mhn? Ah, don't worry, we're here."
The Archdemon opened the door to the right of the corridor making a hand signal to the former queen to enter, she, with many nerves and a slight tremor in her steps, entered the room and again was speechless, the room was much more luxurious than any other that she had ever visited, such was its wonder that inadvertently stopped after a few steps inside, but her state did not last long, the sound of the door closing brought her back to reality.
* Clack click *
"Get comfortable on the couch, this part will take some time."
Hearing the voice behind, she moved quickly to the side and after a moment followed the suited demon example when he took a seat.
Wow, this sofa is SO comfortable! -thought the Changeling-
"Well then let's start with the basics, what are the beginnings of your race?"
"Eh? ... ha! Yeah, uh, ahem, as far as I know, our race didn't exist more than a little over a thousand years ago, one or two hundred more or less, we weren't exactly born naturally."
"You mean your race was created?"
"Errr, something like that, I'm not really sure, what I do know is that we emerged from a dead log in a strange swamp."
"Mmmh, I see, and who was your first leader?"
"Since our appearance in this world I have always been the one and only leader of the changelings ... at least until recently." -said the last part with disdain the former queen-
"Oh? So that means your race is quite long-lived, doesn't it?"
"Not really, my drones went through at least seven generations, at least the oldest, but I haven't changed a bit since my birth."
"Interesting, that means that your origins will have to be investigated further to prevent any data to be missed, do you remember anything else about the place where you were born?"
"Yes, there was a sign fixed in the tree that gave a warning, so that no one should approach the place, if I remember correctly it was signed by Starswirl the Bearded."
"That's good, so now that he's back we have a chance to find out a lot more than we expected."
"He has come back?! But shouldn't he be dead?! He was just a unicorn, he could never have been over 200 years old!"
"Apparently he locked himself up, along with the first bearers of the elements to catch an adversary that they could not defeat, something pathetic indeed, after everything we had found out about him we expected more from his enemy."
"Huh, how?"
"That's right, Princess Twilight came across a diary that stated her latest feat and managed to free all the pillars again, but the villain they locked up was released at the same time, in the end, it turned out that it was a mere parasitic-demon which with twice the number of bearers was easily expelled him from its host. "
"A 'mere parasitic demon'? That doesn't sound so simple to me, I've never heard of demons in our world before."
"That has a simple answer, most demons of a decent level are capable of taking at least a different appearance, but let's leave that topic for another time, now, tell me everything you know about Equestria and all the surrounding nations, I want even the smallest information. "
Several hours later, when the night was already late, a mentally exhausted Changeling, following the indications of her guide, put on one of her hooves just barely touching the edge the coat that the demon was wearing, and suddenly the scene changed before her eyes, from a luxurious room that had everything, to be in a space of loose earth, when turning the view she realized immediately that was in the middle of a gigantic coliseum or arena, in the stands she could see a multitude of immobile figures and in front of her position a large box that was undoubtedly for very important individuals, while the mind of the former queen tried to process everything she saw, a familiar voice suddenly sounded at her side, making her jump in shock.
"YOOSU!"
"GHAAAAA!"
Seeing the changeling fall face down to the ground, Aura started the conversation with the newcomers, ignoring her state.
"What's up Demiurge? So soon did you finish the interview?" she asked, tilting her head and putting a hand on its chin while raising an eyebrow.
"At least for today, she actually has a lot more information than I expected, so as Ainz-sama ordered, I have brought her so you can help her to settle in your floor temporarily, so I leave her in your hands, I will return for her at dawn. " -said the demon bowing slightly before turning around and leaving-
"Ok, I'll take care of it, bye-bye."
After saying goodbye to the guardian of the seventh floor, Aura returned her gaze to the former queen.
"Well, first of all, let's take a walk around the floor so you know what areas you shouldn't go to if you want to stay alive."
Is it really that you're saying something so creepy with a smile like that on your face? -the changeling thought as she nodded and began to follow the little one-
After getting to know a good part of the sixth floor and coming across various creatures that would eat an Ursa Major for breakfast, there were several questions that continued to haunt Chrysalis's head, and she decided to ask some, so steeling her courage she tried its luck.
"Errrmmnn… Aura-sama?"
"Mhn?"
"May I ask you some questions?"
"I don't mind, but I won't answer anything on sensitive topics."
"Thank you, those beasts that we ran into earlier, are they originally from the grave?"
"Of course not, all those creatures are my pets."
"I see, and where do they come from?"
"They are all from different worlds, they are a gift from my creator Bukubukuchagama-sama; that there is the big hole, that is where Gashokukochuuou lives," -said trembling slightly- "and his children, I personally recommend you do not go near there to Unless you're running an errand, I mean, his personality isn't unpleasant, but for your sanity, stay away."
As she listened carefully to the words of the girl, swallowed hard thinking about what horrors there would be in there that even the powerful creature that accompanies her is afraid of it.
* Glup * Wait!, she just said other worlds?, so these supreme beings are perfectly capable of traveling between worlds?! Impossible!
Taking a few deep breaths to regain her calm, the former queen asked her next question.
"I see ... if I may ask, why do you and Demiurge-sama both call this place the sixth floor, even though we are outdoors and the sky is visible?"
"BWAHAHAHAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA!" -Instead of an answer, what he got to his question was a loud laugh-
"Did I ask something inappropriate? If so, I deeply apologize." -she end up prostrating immediately in submission-
But what the hell is this creature laughing at? What did I do wrong?
While she was mentally furious, Chrysalis kept up appearances, it would be foolish to get mad at someone capable of crushing her shell with a single paw, but the response she received when the hatchling calmed down was so ridiculous, that she would have preferred she just made fun of her ignorace.
"But what a good joke! It is obvious that we call it the sixth floor because we are underground and it is precisely the sixth."
WAIT! WHAT!? "B-but the moon and the wind."
"This floor is a creation of the supreme beings, is obvious that will be something surprising; mmmmhhn, ah, right, fly in that direction, and you will check my words quickly."
This tadpole is trying to make fun of me! That, or maybe she intends to attack me while I'm careless… but will that be necessary? *sigh*, no, I'm sure she doesn't need to distract me to finish me off, for now, I'll play along to see what her intentions are, I just hope it doesn't hurt too much.
The former queen's thoughts ran through her mind as she looked at Aura with a neutral face, while she smiled at her disinterestedly and after a few seconds she resigned herself and followed the instructions.
Flapping its membranous wings, Chrysalis rose and began to gain speed, as it advanced, it glanced back and to its surprise the bipedal calf was immobile, so it turned forward to check if there was a trap, but as soon as she looked ahead, crashed face-first with something quite solid, causing some blood to come out of her nose from the blow.
*PLAF* "OOOUCH!"
Upon impact, she quickly shook her head to regain control before falling to the ground; Although the height at which she was flying was not fatal, she did not want to lose sight of what she had jus collided with falling below the treetops; After regaining the lost height, she returned to the same point where had just crashed and to her surprise, found a stain of her green blood floating in the air, with curiosity she began to touch the area and could easily identify that what her hooves were registering was a rocky and fairly smooth surface.
Wait, what? this is impossible! I can clearly see the forest that extends beyond this point, as well as the valleys and mountains that are observed in the distance, why do my hooves say that here is there a solid wall?
As the changeling tried to process what she felt, under her hooves and what this implied, a slight breeze passed over her, stopping her thoughts in her tracks.
"Wind."
The gears of her mind were beginning to jam from the overload and she began to babble out loud.
"But… how?… Can I see the trees moving in the distance with the wind… there is… nothing strange… the wind is coming from beyond the wall…"
Still not satisfied, she began to climb without taking off the hooves from the wall, following the contours and details, while her eyes saw a beautiful night that revealed an overwhelming amount of stars; When reaching a few hundred meters high, the wall changed, it seemed to follow the line of a kind of dome, slightly curved and moved away from the wall, at this height she could see a large part of the sixth floor, the view was unthinkable if you considered that they were still underground, following the line that the ceiling should have with her eyes, her eyes met the irrefutable proof that what the little girl said was true.
On the horizon, you could see the Moon rising, but it did not do so as usual, it rose slowly, with an almost imperceptible speed, and after a few minutes, it was completely visible.
"Is different."
Seeing a moon with a different appearance than usual threw her a bucket of cold water that returned her to the moment, then something else crossed her mind that cemented the fact.
"The sun ... the sun did not set in the same place on the horizon ... it did the opposite."
Stunned by the revelation, she began to slowly lose height and when she made landfall, she did so in front of Aura again.
"So… are we outside?" -Asked the dark elf with a smug smile of 'I told you so' on her face-
Chrysalis still stunned only answered by shaking her head, completely forgetting the rest of her questions for the moment.
After the slight detour, they continued on their way until they reached a small cabin that had been prepared for her in the forest, the rest of the night, the former queen spent it trying to understand the extent of the power of her new master, until she was defeated by the sleep, having constant nightmares about the punishments that might await her if she failed him.
The next morning, Chrysalis woke up more fatigued than rested by the constant nightmares that constantly woke her up, after a few moments to orient herself, she went to a corner where there was a bucket of water as well as a small towel for her; after cleaning herself quickly to be presentable, she prepared to leave in the direction of the coliseum, where she was told to wait who would take her back to the ninth floor, but a smell reached her nose that made her stop when she arrived. The door, turning towards the origin, saw on the coffee table a kind of gem that was on a plate, from which a delicious aroma emanated.
"Is that what I think it is?"
Approaching cautiously, her suspicions rendered positive results, on the plate was a crystallized love gem, exactly the same as those used in their hive to store their sustenance for a long time.
"How did this get here? No, before that, how did someone get in without me realizing it?" Wait, that's a stupid question, right? I should rather ask myself: What in this place is not able to enter without me realizing it? *Sigh* "Maybe I should ask later, for now, I mustn't waste such a substantial breakfast."

Chapter 2
A Bug and a Demon
For almost a month, the same cycle was constantly repeated, even, sometimes several times a day, it all depended on how much time the guardian of the seventh floor wanted to dedicate to each topic, the first four days were exhaustive, with a rain Of questions that seemed endless, at first Chrysalis was always terrified, but as the days passed, the boredom began to accumulate.
Moving through the corridors of the ninth floor, while being escorted by one of Aura's beasts, she walked with some haste towards her destination, a room from which in the time when she had not seen the outside, learned the way and could arrive in unaccompanied, sorrowfully it was still not safe for her to walk alone in the grave.
But today boredom had been replaced by uneasiness, in the last session they had finally finished with all the information that she knew about all the neighboring kingdoms, It was not a surprise that they asked her for so much information about Equestria and its immediate surroundings, what she did not expect in the end, was when questions began to flow about the kingdom of storms, which, unfortunately, she did not know practically anything, given the great lack of love in it, so she did not understand exactly why she was being called again.
I wonder what will happen now, *sigh* since I was brought to this place everything has been very monotonous and repetitive, the only relief was when that unicorn arrived a couple of days ago; But what I still can't understand is how she was received so well while I'm basically treated as a prisoner, but hey, her presence explains why in the last sections Demiurge-sama focused more on the realm of storms, I would never have imagined that she was the commander of the entire storm king's army.
Inside the luxurious room the Archdemon was thinking deeply about his next steps, thanks to his master new subordinate, a large amount of intelligence that was being checked piece by piece, had been gathered in a short time and until now everything seemed to be True, so it was a shame that the bug did not have more information on the kingdom of storms, however, the information obtained could easily be quite useful for his master's plans.
*Knock knock knock knock*
The sound of someone knocking on the door snapped him out of his meditative state, bringing him back to the present.
Ahh, she already arrived -the demon thought before answering-
"You may enter"
Through the door, passed the figure he expected to see and with a satisfied smile, saw her rush in front of him and prostrate.
"I have responded to your call as quickly as I could Demiurge-sama." -Said the ex-queen with her face down-
"Well done, I've called you because it's time for us to pick up where we left off."
"Errr, I apologize Demiurge-sama, but, I no longer know any other information to give you, I have revealed to you everything I knew about all the nations I have walked through, both present and past." -the changeling answered with agitation-
MORE INFORMATION?!, BUT I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO GIVE YOU? -she thought desperately while giving her excuse-
"Indeed," -answered the guardian causing confusion in her- "so now we will continue with the next phase, you have not forgotten Ainz-sama's instructions right?" -he finished with a serious voice and a neutral face-
"NO! Ahem, of course not, Demiurge-sama, Ainz-sama ordered me to give you all the information I knew as my first task and... " -then it fell over her like a bucket of icy-water, she gulped to relieve her dry throat and continued- "assist in your experiments to better understand my abilities."
Upon hearing her words, the seriousness on the Archfiend's face dissipated, returning to his usual smile.
"Indeed, now we will begin with the experiments, so we will go immediately to the place where we will carry them out, that will be your residence temporarily, at least until we finish the experiments or while you are not receiving training."
"Training?"
"Yes, after all, it is not appropriate for a subordinate of Nazarick to be pathetically weak."
Ouch, that hurt you know!
"Now, get going, time is of the essence."
Picking up the bags and papers he had on the coffee table, Demiurge got up and walked down the hall with the changeling following close behind.
When she exited the portal, Chrysalis expected to find again an incomprehensible and shocking scene, but what was in front of her was simply incomprehensible.
Eh? wait! what? those aren't…? "Demiurge-sama, are we in the Arimaspi territory?" -Asked to confirm her thoughts- "I don't understand, there is nothing of interest in this place, only wild and aggressive beasts, what are we doing here?"
"Oh, so do you know the area, truth be told, I selected this place as the testing area so that you can achieve two goals at the same time, firstly, to start the experiments related to your species, secondly to review the rest of my experiments."
"Experiments? Does it be an underground base?" -the changeling asked curiously-
Instead of giving an answer, the Archfiend gave an evil smile and snapped the fingers of his right hand.
The change was immediate, the nose of the former queen was filled with a pungent smell that made her eyes water, an indescribable mixture of dirt, feces, urine, and blood, both fresh and putrid; her ears were immediately filled with screams and groans of pain after the snap, crying and groans and the desperate requests for death and liberation filled the air in a macabre atmosphere, her eyes saw how out of nowhere, as the air distorted revealed huts of different sizes on all sides, intelligent creatures and animals without reason, all chained to post staked firmly in the ground, many creatures had loss looks with completely lifeless eyes; to such an extent that they were not even able to react to the terrifying creatures that roamed everywhere, creatures out of the wildest nightmares in the world.
The sensory overload was such that the former queen was stunned, her eyes wide and her jaw hanging, it was not until a scratchy and dry voice spoke at her side that she was able to react.
"Welcome back Demiurge-sama" -greeted an Elder Lich assigned as the supervisor of the ranch with a bow- "I see that you have brought a new specimen for the experiments, I will take care of starting immediately."
These words made the ex-queen gulp and take a step back.
I don't think I like how that sounded! -she thought a little scared-
"No, that will not be necessary, I will take care of her personally, she is a special case, she is under the protection of our master's name."
Before these words the Elder Lich bowed more deeply, waiting to hear the rest of the instructions for this new guest.
"She will stay in this place while the necessary tests and experiments are carried out, prepare a suitable place for the indefinite stay of a subordinate, and be sure to request that they provide you with the special food necessary for her, in the meantime, we will begin with the first tests, too, take this material to the office. " -he finished, handing the papers and bags that he carried with him-
"Right away Demiurge-sama."
After receiving his instructions, the undead got up and retired to immediately comply with them, the delay was inadmissible.
As the changeling watched the ramshackle figure walk away, her thoughts were in utter chaos.
That thing! That thing was a necromancer and it is much more similar to that of the ancient legends! But, then that means... that powerful creatures like him are under the command of Ainz Ooal Gown?!, Just... just how powerful my new master is?!
But the Archfiend's words brought her back to the moment.
"Well, now, as I said before, time is short, follow me we will start as soon as possible."
As soon as he started to walk away, Chrysalis shook her head to regain her bearings and hurried to follow him, even though they would not walk very far, along the way, the former queen's stomach drastically turned; as she advanced, she saw multiple cages containing from animals to intelligent species, most were totally broken, there was no will left in their spirit, they were mere shells of a being, many were in some state of mutilation that seemed to be surgical and not due to an accident, all of them were a bottomless pit, a total void, not even the shadow of emotion came out of them, one of those that made the most impression on her was a deer whose antlers and four legs had been removed when this noticed the movement and crossed his empty gaze with Chrysalis, a deep shudder ran down the latter's spine.
That could be my place.
Of the few individuals that still emanated something was only something profound, hysterical, and primordial, an absolute terror.
If the few emotions in the air were enough to make her stomach want to flip upside down, the regular smells in the air, primarily that of rotting blood and flesh, only accentuated the sensation, turning the task of maintaining her composure into something that required a titanic effort.
Trying to distract herself a bit from what she could see, smell and feel around her, thoughtlessly asked a question that was haunting her mind, but hadn't gotten the courage to ask it before.
"What kind of experiments are you going to do on me?"
As her mind processed what she had just said, the former queen froze in place, staring at her superior with slight tremors.
But the answer reached her ears in a disinterested tone.
"For now we will start with the most basic, I want to have a baseline on your performance, we will do tests of strength, speed, endurance, and many others, at least three times on different days to obtain reliable results, for now, do not stop anymore we almost arrive."
After these words the demon turned back to the front and continued walking, after a moment more, they actually reached where the tests would begin and what was in the place again filled with doubt the changeling.
But… what is all this?… It looks like simple gym equipment.
"Here, let's get started as soon as possible." -said the Archdemon with a big smile on his face-
I'm not entirely sure if that smile should scare me or not . -was the last thought of Chrysalis before starting to exercise-
"Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch and more ouch."
Walking as if she had splinters embedded in all parts of her body, Chrysalis followed as fast as possible the figure in front of her, she could finally get some rest after the arduous session of testing and exercise, as reported, the Elder Lich, who appeared that was his species and not its name, already had a small cabin prepared for her rest not far from the testing area, but with her current state, for the changeling, it was as if she had to cross all of Equestria on hoof.
When they finally reached their destination, did not even observe the cabin, she simply fell on the bed and fell asleep immediately, seeing this, the lesser demon that had led her here closed the door of the cabin and left.
That night the former queen was so tired that she could not even dream, the last thought that crossed her head before losing consciousness and sinking into the world of dreams was quite defeatist.
Maybe it would have been better to take the slavery option, I'm dead and it's only the first day ...

An Entomology Session
The days continued with similar tests, for five days Chrysalis ran until she collapsed, jumped rope until her hooves couldn't take another rep, did push-ups until she couldn't get up off the ground, and lifted weights until her whole body was sore, all of these tasks. They were repeated with and without the aid of magic, for five days in a row and she had two days of rest after this torture.
When the exercise sessions that pushed her to her limit were finally over, the next step came.
Not being taken back to the area where she had been exercising previously, the former queen's curiosity won out over prudence and she asked her guide.
"Aren't we heading to the exercise area?"
"No, Demiurge-sama said that the data collected was sufficient in this regard." -answered the rough voice of the lesser demon that walked in front of her-
WHAT !?, SO SOON WE WILL CHANGE THE TYPE OF TEST! *glup* he said he wanted to get an idea of my previous basic abilities, does that mean he is going to do something to me that is going to change me?
But before the changeling could ask another question, the demon stopped and turned around.
"We have arrived, Demiurge-sama is waiting for you inside."
Swallowing, the changeling nodded and gave a nervous thank you, which was barely audible, put the hoof on the door handle, took a deep breath and with the other one knocked on the door a couple of times, the answer did not take long to come; from within the voice of the arch demon was heard.
"Come in"
With the permission received, she opened the door and entered with her eyes downcast so to not show her nervous, after silently closing the door behind her and turning around, she finally looked up at her superior and what she saw began to make her tremble.
The place was not dirty, far from it, it was even cleaner than a hospital, but the large number of surgical tools from different times to some that she had never seen filled the tables around the place, while the largest as saws for bone and others of strange shape that I was not able to define their function were hanging on the walls as if it were a workshop, the only thing missing was the smell of antiseptic in the air.
"Let's start as soon as possible, first of all, stand in that corner, the necessary cleaning spells will be used on you to make sure that nothing changes the results, then I want you to fly back and lie on the table." -said the demon as if talking about the weather-
The causality with which he spoke only made her more nervous and she began to tremble, which finally caught Demiurge's attention.
Ha, I see, she is nervous fufufu forgetful creature, if not for Ainz-sama's instructions I would treat you worse than the other specimens in this place for not remembering her words.
"Chrysalis, I remind you that you are under the protection of my master's name and I have his instructions not to cause you any physical harm or torture, I want to assume that you have not forgotten his words, have you?" -he finished seriously-
His tone finally made the changeling react while also making her tremble more.
"NO! No! I-I'm just nervous, is it going to c-change me in some w-way?" -asked the changeling stammering-
"No, of course not, at least not without Ainz-sama's authorization, what I will do from this moment on is try to understand your inner workings, this in accordance with what our master wishes."
The smile that always graced the creature's face spread slightly, giving Chrysalis chills as she remembered her master's orders and apparent goal.
'You will participate in the necessary experiments to find out how your abilities can best serve Nazarick.'
"To better serve… Nazarick."
"Excellent, I see you remember, now if you don't mind I'd like to start as soon as possible."
As she reluctantly walked to the corner of the room, where multiple magic circles were etched on the floor, ceiling, and walls, she tried to collect her thoughts.
*Glup* I don't like this at all, I feel like I'm going to be vivisected, I feel like I'm a specimen that will be torn to pieces and later discarded, but... if that were their goal, there would really be no point in the time lost with the exercises… *Shig* in the end I have no choice, at least that skeleton ordered that I will not to suffer pain or torture, haaaaah, here it goes then, all or nothing.
At the end of her brief and quick internal monologue, she stood in the corner with the engravings of multiple magic circles, but nothing happened, so she turned and gave a questioning look to the demon who had a curious look while a hand rubbed his chin.
"Mmmmmhhhn, interesting, it is something unexpected, but I will point it in the points to cover, apparently the conditional automatic activation spells do not work at all with you or your species," -and his expression changed to a smile of interest- "Try applying a little of your magic to the patterns, one at a time if they don't all activate after the first one, start with the one on the ground. "

With morbid fascination, she watched as the scalpel cut through her chitin as if it were butter and after a moment a large section of her shell was completely removed with a professionalism that terrified her, what seemed curious to her was that, although she felt absolutely no pain, could still feel the hands working around her breastplate and then the total loss of sensation in the area, if she were not so lost in the scene and paralyzed, on more than one occasion, between all her breastplate and skin that had been completely removed, she would have vomited repeatedly, at this moment she felt absolutely nothing from her right side from the neck down, but on her left side she could feel the blood slowly accumulating, then she began to feel like all her internal organs were completely moved or removed as she listened to speak to the guardian of the seventh floor, a true chilling sensation.
