Soaring Birds

When Fire sat on the couch his aunt had him the one question he didn't want to hear. " So what made you decide to come and visit me?"

His eyes shot up in surprise but clouded over in sadness a moment later. He then told her why he was in Ponyville but by the end his voice barely above a whisper. After he had asked his aunt where the guest bedroom was so he could lie down.

He was flying in between the clouds in contentment and there was someone was flying next to him but didn't know who. When he looked to see who they weren't there so he thought he was hearing things but now the flapping was on the other side. When he looked nopony was there so he got a bit paranoid and flew faster and dove through the clouds where he thought was Ponyville but was a endless ocean. Then the clouds turned dark and a giant dragon head appeared. He was too terrified to move but when it opened its mouth and roared so loud it seemed the world shook. A wave of fire came from the dragon all of a sudden and hit him with such force that when he hit the water.....

"OH SHIT!!!!" Fire woke up yelling, his aunt ran in asking him what was wrong. Fire took a deep breath and simply said that he had a bad dream. After she left he got up and creeped through the house not wanting to wake his aunt. When he closed the door he sighed and looked at his scooter, his excitement building by the second. When he got to the jump in the park it had to started to lightly rain but he didn't care. He started to build up speed and he went off the jump doing a tailwhip when he noticed a orange mare with a purple mane straightened by the rain which by now had intensified to a downpour staring at him with a hit of excitement. When you landed your third increasingly difficult trick she rushed up and said " i can't believe that i'm watching the best scooterer in all of equestria practice!!"

Fire looked at her in surprise and said " I didn't know anypony would recognize me here."

She looked at him with puppy dog eyes and asked " Can you please please please teach some tricks."

must resist cuteness "sure, i'll teach some to you,do you have your own scooter" uhg looks like im not getting any sleep.

After you showed her how to do a tailwhip you had told her to keep practicing it. As he leaned against a tree he belatedly realized he didn't even know the mares name. When he woke up there was a warm body snuggled up against his.Trying not to move to much he looked at her scooter, it was the latest in the scooters you designed yourself and wondered where she got the money to pay for it because they were made with top notch parts so they were fairly expensive. She started to move and looked up at Fire with her purple eyes and started in surprise when he asked her what her name was.

"my name is scootaloo." She jumped up with a big smile when she remembered how she ended falling asleep on you. Just then his aunt ran by searching franticly for Fire. He couldn't help laughing when he saw this and told Scootaloo that he had to go find his aunt.

He found her in the town square looking in every alley and store for him so he just waited for her to finish, when she did she sat beside him not realizing and said " have you seen my nephew, he normally rides a scooter" when he started to laugh she looked over and realized who she had sat beside.

"WHY, didnt you come back last night, I was very worried!"

"Sorry, i was practicing some tricks and taught a mare named Scootaloo some tricks but  ended up falling asleep against a tree."Fire got up " I have to go get ready for my performance tonight, see you there."

The stands were packed with ponies who wanted to see what a pony could do with a scooter. Fire's aunt was backstage with him making sure he was ready to go perform.

The crowd quieted down in anticipation when Fire flew off the ramp spinning so fast he was just a blue and black blur! He yelled " IS EVERYONE READY!!!" and the crowd screamed in excitement " OK LETS GET THIS SHOW GOING!!!!" The show was almost over but Fire had one more trick in store for the crowd. He went off the ramp and started doing backflips then he let go of the handle bars so he was flying but just as he was about to hit the ground he grabbed the handle bars and flipped over.

The entire crowd screamed in amazement at the trick but one mare just stared finally realizing who he is.
