Seven years after the events of "The Last Problem", friendship between the races around Equus had begun to die out. The races began to fight each other until one fateful day when war was declared. Twilight was in tears at this, but was hit later with a scare. Flurry Heart was nearly killed while protecting Twilight, but miraculously survived. However, she was no longer alert and has been taken to a secret place to recover. At this point, Twilight is dead, the war is still raging, and Equestria is hardly recognizable. This is the story of Flurry's epic and arduous mission to save the world and end the war.

The first three chapters are similar to the opening sequence of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild".
